"The Oyster Bar at Sunset Station is a Louisiana-style seafood restaurant that offers seating with a view of the kitchen, customizable spice levels on entrees, and oysters by the half dozen or dozen. The menu also includes an oysters on the half shell and shrimp cocktail combination, charbroiled oysters, plus crab legs, Maine lobster, and jambalaya. Takeout available." - Janna Karel

This place is not to bad. If you enjoy seafood and cajun style seafood, you'll enjoy this place. Located in the Sunset Station Casino, it can be very busy and the wait to be seated could take time. Not a big venue but once seated it is enjoyable. They offer different spice levels from 1 to 10 being the hottest. Service is great. I recommend just about anything here. The chowda is pretty good not as good as Maine or Mass but it is worth a shot. Highly recommend.

Seafood galore. It's always a great time to dine here. Service is always good. I've had the combo pan roast and sunset roast. Both were delcious. The complimentary bread is delcious. I also had the little neck clams, and the soup was delcious. I dipped my bread in it. It's definitely a spot I return to often.

Google
Oyster Bar at Sunset Station exceeded my expectations. The Étouffée with lobster, crab and shrimp was excellent. I had spice level 3 and next time going to try a 4! Love the grotto feeling and the falling water makes it seems like you are in Hawaii or other exotic location. Left with a warm feeling and a smile after a very enjoyable meal.

I decided to try this place as an alternative to the long wait at the oyster bar at Palace Station, and I'm glad I did. The raw oysters here matched the freshness and flavor of those I've had before, which was a pleasant surprise. While the lobster pan roast didn't quite hit the mark of being the best I've tasted, it was still quite enjoyable. The real standout, however, was the clam steamer, which exceeded my expectations and was even more delightful than the rest.

Tucked away in the back of the Sunset Station Casino, the Oyster Bar delivers some of the best Louisiana/low country style seafood dishes in Vegas. The Pan Roast Combo, in my opinion, is the tastiest dish on the menu...it's filling, hearty, and mouthwatering, and with the crusty, buttered bread to dunk...chef's kiss! Try the hurricane, a fruity cocktail reminiscence of rum punch. You won't be disappointed! For a fun experience, sit by the bar and watch the chef's cook all the dishes right in front of you. Hidden gem and a locals secret for years; if you like seafood, it's a must try off the Strip with free parking!

This place is as good as the one at Palace Station, but without the waiting because they have much more seating. It probably helps that it is away from the tourists as well. We had the Seafood Combo Pan Roast along with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder and a half dozen Roasted Oysters. All three items were excellent and came out really quickly. We sat at the bar and the cook/bartender was friendly and attentive. I don't have much else to add. Like I mentioned up front, if you like the one at Palace Station, or even South Point, you'll like this one as well.

Google
First time dining at the Oyster Bar in Sunset Station Casino in Henderson, Nevada, and I was pleasantly surprised! Friendly service and excellent menu in a wonderful atmosphere with a nice waterfall coming down just outside from our table which subdued any noise from the casino. My Bouillabaisse was simmered in a spicy tomato base with two crab legs, prawns, scallops, mussels, and fish. All entrees served to my friends were rich and delicious! I'll definitely come back to enjoy this New Orleans style cuisine.

My wife and I come here often and this was by far the worst experience and the one worth leaving a review for. For starters, we wanted a floor table so we waited until one opened up but they put us at a table so small our children wouldn't have fit. We had to put some items on the rock area in front of us to have enough room for the food. Secondly, our waiter was the worst forgetting what our drink order was and having to come back to ask us and then setting the wrong food items in front of both of us. The final was the actual food itself with the burnt nasty oysters 🦪 they brought to our table. We told our waiter and his reply was that they come like that and if we wanted a new order but the wait was already long so we declined and that was that. They are supposed to be grilled not burnt. Charbroiled does not mean charred. For 2 full orders of oysters over $40 a piece I will go somewhere else next time for oysters possibly altogether. My cesar salad had something hard and grainy that was just displeasing as well. Needless to say we didn't eat much. No other offer of any kind and he was still tipped despite all the ridiculousness. Very displeasing visit.

Yelp
This is our absolute favorite local spot to have a nice dinner. We go there at least every other month to indulge. The sour dough bread, for starters.... Mmmm so satisfying. The Caesar salad has that perfect lemon and salt flavor on the freshest crispy romaine. Oh let's also give a shout out to the shrimp cocktail. That kick of horseradish is just a delight to the senses. Now for the mains. I alternate between the rich and creamy crab pan roast and the crab boil. You can't beat the pricing for the fresh, quality ingredients you get here. Head out tonight cuz you will not be disappointed. The food, the service and the atmosphere is 10 out of 10.

Yelp
While I love the original oyster bar and will still visit if I have the time. This is a great alternative. We were able to walk up and get a table. That is the other part that I enjoyed, the fact that we were able to have a small party and have everyone seated at a table together. The pan roast was exactly the same, but it was still good.

Yelp
A couple weeks ago, my cousin wanted to check out the Oyster Bar at Sunset Station Casino for our weekly family dinner to see how it compares to the one at Red Rock Casino. The former is in my neighborhood and the latter is a short drive from my cousin's house in NW Las Vegas. When we first arrived at Sunset Station, it was somewhat difficult to find the Oyster Bar since the signage in the casino is not as thorough/updated to industry standards as the other properties that I usually frequent in the Las Vegas Valley. After walking around in despair for 10 minutes /s, we finally arrived at the restaurant and endured a short wait (maybe 5 minutes) before we were seated at the oyster bar. We were greeted shortly afterwards, and everything else went off without a hitch. The meal was solid, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. Specific things I liked about this Oyster Bar location: #1. It's much larger and more spacious than the Oyster Bar at Red Rock Casino. #2. During my visit, both the staff and clientele here were pretty diverse. #3. While a bit outdated, I actually liked the grotto setting for this Oyster Bar. It was super cozy and the waterfalls surrounding the restaurant drowned out all the background noise and chatter. So, we were able to fully enjoy our family meal and the vibes of our own little bubble. #4. We received great customer service from their entire team. I'm originally from the South, and I often have family & friends in town asking for recommendations for fish and seafood restaurants at a reasonable price point. It's great to have this Oyster Bar in my back pocket as a solid option in Henderson!

Yelp
Yum! What a delightful meal we had here! Its a smaller place, so you may have to wait in line. But its worth it. We got the charbroiled oysters, which are crave worthy. Then got a Caesar salad and a pan roast with a combo of seafood. Everything was so good. The bread was insane! Our waiter was very nice and helpful. We will be back

Yelp
Always like going here! It is one of my no fails. One of the best . Love going here specially when it is winter. But there is a lot to order here. Check this place out ! You'll like it. Small so plan you time accordingly :)

Yelp
My wife and I were too tired to leave the casino to eat dinner so we decided to stay in house and try the Oyster Bar. I'd heard so much about the one at the Palace Station but the lines were ridiculous every time I was there so I never got to enjoy the experience of dining there. Imagine my delight when I discovered I could enjoy basically the same menu at the Sunset without standing for an hour + and could actually be seated at a regular table instead of at a counter sitting on a bar stool. Sure Palace Station had a slightly higher score but I'd sacrifice a couple of points for the sake of convenience. There was a short line for those who wanted to sit at a table but they were able to accommodate us in about 10 minutes. The menu is very similar to one you see in the Yelp photos of the one from Station. Due to my wife abstaining from eating carbs and sweets for Lent, she decided to order the Louisiana Shrimp Boil, minus potatoes. She was rather bummed not being able to eat any warm bread they served but I told her I would be sure to enjoy it for the both of us. There was a fair amount of shrimp and sausage in the boil and the flavor was quite satisfying. I was the lucky recipient of her corn on the cob as well as the bread which made me a happy camper. I chose to order the combination pan roast which was amazing. An acceptable amount of crab and chunks of lobster but an extremely generous number of shrimp. The tomato stew had a delightful flavor and just the right thickness. I definitely recommend this dish. When I saw Bananas Foster on the menu, I couldn't help myself. Rather than have my wife watch sadly, I led her a tad bit astray and told her to eat a few pieces of the glazed banana. Come on now. It was a short vacay. I'm sure God could forgive a tiny sidestep off the road to righteousness couldn't He? It wasn't a big sin anyway because it the Foster was merely OK. The service was excellent. The waiter checked on us often and genuinely seemed like he enjoyed his job and wanted his customers to be happy. We never felt rushed and if we needed anything, he was very prompt in taking care of us. Since I'm planning on returning to the Sunset Station often, I'm sure I will become much more familiar with the rest of the menu. Looking forward to my next food adventure at Oyster Bar.

Yelp
Not a fan of fatty oysters, but happy my server took them back. 7:10 in food and great service:). You may have to wait in line when it's busy. Ambiance is outdated but the food is more important:)

Moises C.

Yelp
This is the best taste of New Orleans seafood style in Henderson. Prices are affordable, service and quality are excellent, ambience is upscale. Definitely a must try!

Jean L.

Yelp
Great place for oysters. A dozen for $25.99, which amounts to about $2.17/oyster. These oysters are pretty big and filling. The complementary bread is fantastic: freshly baked sourdough loaf with real butter on the side. Ambiance is really cool, located inside Sunset Station Casino. There are waterfalls all around and a large bar seating area in the middle. Service has been consistently great. The other items are on the pricier side so I haven't tried anything other than the shrimp cocktail and shrimp Louie salad. Both were good, but a tad pricey. Overall, an awesome spot for oysters!

Todd V.

Yelp
Absolutely spotless. All team members were smiling. Troy, our server made amazing suggestions and made sure we had everything we wanted and needed in a professional and expedited manner. We got there just before the rush and we were seated promptly. Every plate has amazing fresh flavorful food and the chef and manager even stopped by to make sure everything was above expectation. This was our first time there but surely NOT our last.

Yelp
We ordered takeout for Friday lunch, and they took a long time to get the food ready. There were only 2 people who seemed to be working, which is why it took so long. Oyster bar is located inside Sunset Station, with great interior design. Probably better to dine in, take your time, and enjoy the ambiance. Sunset Roast - Delicious! Flavor is rich, deep, and they give plenty of seafood. Although it is around $30, it is large enough to share with 2 people. However, they didn't give enough rice, which made me feel not satisfied enough. Would definitely recommend everyone to get this. Seafood Jambalaya - Mediocre flavor. It also was NOT mixed in with the rice, but just came as sauce + rice, separately. I thought jambalaya was supposed to be mixed? Oh well, I was not impressed by this, and would recommend just getting 2x sunset roasts, or something else.

Yelp
Resturant is located to the far right from valet. Small Resturant- choices of sitting at a table top or at the bar where you can watch the cooks cook. We were greeted from the host and was sat promptly. We had a server take our drink orders, where they offer beer, wines and cocktails too. Grandma ordered two Cherry Mojitos costing $11 each. Kids ordered Shirley Temples $3 something I believe, and husband ordered a Modelo Especial $7 they also give you a complementary fresh baked sourdough beget upon being sat. For appetizers we ordered from the chilled seafood portion: Oysters on a half shell 1 dozen. $25.99 they are from Louisiana, they were very large and plump but didn't have a great flavor. We than ordered 1/2 dozen of the seasonal Oysters and they were were tasty nicely chilled and a nice fresh taste but much smaller than the ones from Louisiana. For our entrees we ordered: House Gumbo $30.99 Was served with shrimp, lobster and crab (spice level 1) on the bland side with a hint of creole flavoring. Estoffee $27.99 Slight tomato taste that was very well put together however not your traditional estoffee but pretty good. Jambayla was spiced at a 3 level had very good flavor (Favorite dish of the night) $27.99 Mediterranean Salmon $20.99 Salmon was under seasoned topped with tomatoes, basil and capers. Paired with a cup of white rice. Travis the Chéf was professional, he was helping his crew and made sure we were taken care of. If your in the area stop by and order those seasonal oysters.

Karen T.

Yelp
I think this one located in the Sunset Station is a little different from the one in the Palace Station(taste). The best part is it's much larger and I didn't have to wait. I got my usual, half dozen oysters on the half shell with a shot of vodka. And Combo Pan Roast. There was a slight sour tang to it. I think I have to go back and try Palace Station again. . These guys hustle. I told the guy cooking in front of me that if he or anyone moved to Hawaii and is looking for a job in the kitchen go check out my son. Thinking back, I'm not sure if he thinks I was trying to pick him up. Hahaha! His reaction was he has a wife and kids.

Yelp
I don' t understand why Anyone waits in line for hours to eat Anywhere? I do see the argument that supports this long time local spot in Sunset Station Casino! I have seen the lines, heard the accolades and decided it was about time to check them out! Pro Tip come in during the earlier part of the week! This particular Wednesday we waited about 5 minutes for a table at almost 6 pm. They just had to bus it! We sat and our server, Troy approached right away and our drinks came shortly after! If you have not been to an Oyster Bar and are not interested in seafood this is not your place! The food was all great, served piping hot and a real good sized portion too! Everything was super tasty and seasoned very well ! I have never tried Chargrilled Oysters previously but now that I have I highly recommend them. Great spot if you are looking to expand your culinary repertoire for sure!

Yelp
This ol spot is still a great seafood joint! I hadn't been to Sunset Station in over 10 years because I live in North Las Vegas and it's pretty far. I was working in Henderson and met a friend who lives in Hendo for dinner. She suggested the Oyster bar. I'm SO glad she did! The restaurant looks like it's set in a cave and there are waterfalls all around the seating area which is open to the casino. It's a rather small restaurant. But when we went it wasn't exceptionally busy so we got a table right away. There was the option to sit @ the bar but we opted for a high top instead. I had a bowl of the Cioppino with no rice. It was served nice and hot with lots of garlic in a tasty tomato base. It had clams, crab legs, jumbo shrimp and pieces of white fish in it. My friend ordered the gumbo which you can customize to your spice level preference on a scale of 1-10. She doesn't care for spice at all so she ordered a 1 and she said it was very mild. It was a generous portion and she took 1/2 home. Our server was very busy but attentive and polite. He kept the refills on our drinks coming. We never even had to ask. All in all it was a great experience and would definitely come back.

Brian M.

Yelp
This is my go to Oyster Bar when in Vegas. It's located in Sunset Station Casino and away from the Strip, but to me it's worth the drive. We very rarely have to wait for seating and always have seats at the bar counter. I love watching them making customer orders and they're always friendly. Great food, Great service and definitely leave with a full stomach.

Gustavo E.

Yelp
Another restaurant in Vegas that did not fail to impress me. Visiting from out of town and my friend tells me about this place that I've never heard of and that I need to try their Pan Roast. So sure enough, with a little bit of time left before my flight leaves, I come here to try it out. First off, I love the location this restaurant has. Not the fact that it's located in a casino but that it's in like this weird cave enclosure type of place with waterfalls running on the outside. It is very unique and I loved that a lot. We were seated pretty quick and though it took a while for the server to finally come greet us, she was excellent for the rest of the meal. She constantly came to the table to bring us water and bread and whatever else we needed. She was awesome . As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. And that's coming from someone who generally doesn't eat stuff like seafood too often but holy shit, the Sunset Pan Roast was incredible. I loved every spoonful of it and will definitely keep it in mind next time I come to town.

Yelp
The family picked Oyster Bar for dinner because they wanted oysters. We got to the restaurant around 6pm and only the counter was available. The family split up so a few of us got seated right away and the rest of the family waited for a table. The staff greeted us and we took our time to look over the menu. The 3 of us put in our orders and the food took really really long (35 minutes)! I remember being on my phone looking through all the photos I took during the day and my food still didn't arrive. The hungry person in the group ate 2 of the complimentary rolls to hold them over. When our food arrived, everything was hot and smelled delicious. I had the cioppino which had lots of flavor and a generous amount of seafood (crab, cod, shrimp, clams, mussels). There was a bit of spice in the broth but I enjoyed it. Towards the end of my meal when I was trying to get the crab meat out, the shell was too hard to bite on. They ran out of crab crackers so I was eyeing when a staff would fill that container. Once I saw someone drop a handful of crab cracker in, I waved at someone and asked for one. I thought the prices were reasonable but I wasn't excited about the wait time for a table when you go in group and the time it took to prepare the food. When the 3 of us were done eating, the other half of the family just got their appetizers. If you are planning to dine with 4 or more people, I would suggest an early dinner or a late dinner; don't go between 5:30pm-7:30pm. For parking, it's complimentary valet parking at Sunset Station so this make it easy if you're driving from the strip or somewhere else.

J H.

Yelp
Saturday June 1 2024 One server - she was terrific. Ambiance is interesting - waterfalls surround the open-air restaurant which somewhat masks the sounds of the casino. We enjoyed our meal but a few suggestions. It's lovely to receive a complimentary loaf of sourdough bread, especially because it's warm - but the butter is nearly frozen - room temp butter would be better. Oysters were excellent - fresh and plump - BUT it would be recommended that they be rinsed off BEFORE opening for service - removing the grit/sand to allow 'proper' slurping (lol) Clam chowder soup - New England style - thick - tasty - but three large clumps/lumps of un-dissolved flour were my final three spoons and nearly ruined that experience. Overall we would return.

Gorman M.

Yelp
5-star review for the Oyster Bar at Sunset Station is well deserved! The combo pan roast with shrimp, crab, and lobster was an absolute treat, and I'm thrilled that it lived up to expectations. The sauce is so full of flavor and was the key to making this dish shine. It's fantastic to know that it rivals the Oyster Bar at Palace Station without the usual 1 hour wait. A top-notch dining experience for seafood lovers!

Marija P.

Yelp
Love the underwater cave feel of Oyster Bar. The menu is full of great seafood options and the falling water makes for great ambiance. We were sat right away and our server was very nice. I find the prices for both food and drinks reasonable and the portion sizes are HUGE. I have yet to finish my meal in one sitting. I had the house gumbo this time and while it was good, it was kind of bland, which is unlike other dishes I've had there before. However, it was LOADED with lobster and shrimp so I was very happy about that. This was my second time eating at the restaurant and I do plan on going back and trying something else next time.

Nicole R.

Yelp
Pan roast is unique and amazing, pick your spice level.....I get a 5, I like even spicier but going past a 5 changes the flavor of this dish and is over powering in my opinion. Been coming here for years and get this every single time. Martini wasn't that impressive next time I'll stick w/ a beer or wine.

Racquel Q.

Yelp
Ambiance was okay since the set up was close to a waterfall but just a little lighting will be great so some folks who had bad eyes can see better of looking over the menu.Service was very friendly and since she's a newbie waitress, she did great to be knowledgeable of some food to order. As far as pricing on the menu,it's okay since there's not much to pick to

Cynde M.

Yelp
Shrimp Louie Salad with extra crab was delicious! Clam Steamers and broth wonderful as well. Fast and friendly service.

Manjeet R.

Yelp
Delicious is an understatement! I've stayed at Sunset Station a couple of times and this is my first time trying it. Husband doesn't like seafood lol, yet they have chicken options too! I had the clam chowder and it is to die for... so creamy and meaty. I tried the charbroiled oysters and they were amazing. Some small, some big, yet I felt it was the perfect balance. Definitely coming back! Service is amazing. Although they are busy, you are acknowledged when waiting to be seated and the waitress came frequently to check on me. The ambiance is very relaxing and romantic... reminds me of the coast.

Viet T.

Yelp
Adrian our cook was the rudest guy ever. I informed him that our pan roast shrimp and lobster tasted not fully cooked. He then proceeded to give us attitude that it was fully cooked and that's impossible. The shrimp was semi-gray still and all we asked was to heat it up a little longer. He said "I'm not making you another one". No one ask you to make another. Next, the gentlemen to my left asked about his steamed clams and he proceeded to give him attitude that "it doesn't just magically appear". We will never step foot here again and this is unfortunate.

Robbin B.

Yelp
My second try @this location of Oyster Bar inside Sunset Station Casino. I enjoy the overall vibe and seating options at this location. My guest have enjoyed their orders on both occasions. I've enjoyed the Cocktail shrimp accompanied by a nice spicy sauce. My first visit I decided to hold my review due to the Manager graciously offering to refund my money. The Gumbo was inedible with the overall taste & smell of "burnt". One year later, I'm back to give the house Gumbo a try. The roux has a nice dark color, although the layer of oil floating on top didn't look appealing. I stirred and gave it a try, overall the flavor was good and seafood plentiful but overly oily. The next Gumbo craving will take me back to the OG - Palace Station where the gumbo is always perfect. Our Servicer was fast & friendly.

Geselle R.

Yelp
A place my family loves to indulge in. Today we had a great server, she was very attentive and always made sure our waters were full! My favorite thing to get is the clam chowder and clam linguine pasta!! We always get oysters too whether it be raw or charbroiled! Can't go to an oyster bar without getting oysters!! Be careful not to get stuffed from the bread and butter! Wait times can be longer on busier days but it's understandable. Nestled inside the sunset station casino, it's a great spot to get your seafood on!

Jocelyn C.

Yelp
The local's secret. Also, if you're a tourist and with a group of friends, it may benefit you to take an Uber to Sunset Station's Oyster Bar instead lest you find yourself deceased prior to being seated in the tiny Palace Station Oyster Bar. Seafood pan Roast. Every bit as amazing as the first time. Love the pasta here as well with super big shrimp. Sourdough rolls, and unlike Palace Station Oyster Bar, you won't be given the side eye for asking for more than one roll. Local casinos will just give it to you with a smile on their face. Very hard working team and fantastic food. Always a joy!

Roy K.

Yelp
Finally I returned after 20+ years. Literally haven't been here since the 90s. Food was absolutely incredible, just like i remembered. Service was excellent. We were seated within 2 min. Food was on our table in less than 10 min. Great ambience. I have to say, this property has aged very well. Much nicer on the inside than outside. The Gaudi bar is one of the coolest looking in town. Amazing stained glass work. This oyster bar is identical to the one at Palace station however there is no 1 hr line here. Just a heads up, 1 pan roast is enough for two. Also, they bring out a nice warm sourdough mini loaf of bread. Totally worth a visit. Highly recommended!!

Denise V.

Yelp
Every time we come to Vegas the Oyster Bar in Palace station is a much stop. We heard about this one at Sunset Station and had to go. They opened at 11:30 so we were there around 12. To our wonderful surprise there was no line and there were actually sit down tables along with their bar area. Now to the moment you've all been waiting for. THE FOOD!! YAAASSS! We got a little worried because a couple things we wanted were not on the menu. We asked the chef and he said he could still make whatever we wanted. YAY!! We started with the Caesar salad which was delicious. The dressing was not to tarty and had a really fresh taste. The bread btw was delicious! My main dish was the Alaskan clam chowder. This was loaded with seafood and had some good size lil chunks of lobster. The crab leg on top was a delicious touch. I like salt and didn't need to add any salt at all. Not because the food was salty but because the flavor was so good you didn't want to change it up. The Mr. Orders a Pan Roast with Pan roast and bouillabaisse sauce mixed together with a medium kick of spice. Ooooweeee!! Yes my foodies it was as delicious as it sounds! The flavor was on point no NOTHING needed to be added. So happy with found this other location. I will say they are both amazingly delicious and worth any wait but the fact that this wasn't a 2/3 hour wait was an added bonus! Chef and staff were friendly and amazing! See you guys again. Oh yea I didn't eat the oysters but the Mr. said they were so good he could have easily had a dozen to himself.

Jim H.

Yelp
We enjoyed both nights we had dinner here on our trip. Food was excellent and service was prompt and friendly.

Michelle F.

Yelp
Every time I have a visitor in town I take them to this oyster bar. 1. because even if there happens to be a line you can easily be seated with a party of two at the bar. 2. The gumbo, Louisiana seafood boil and pan roast are all consistently delish. 3. The service is always on point and attentive. 4. Parking is easy and free. What else could you ask for? A must try when in the area!

Michelle L.

Yelp
Stopped by Saturday around 7pm there was very little wait for a table, food came out quick and there was no line by the time we left. Service was friendly, recommend the house gumbo

Nina B.

Yelp
This Oyster Bar is located at the Sunset Station Casino. We love the Sunset Station and dine lots of time at the casino restaurants, but we never really actually eaten here until last weekend. Surprisingly this oyster bar is really good. Most oyster bars in the station casinos are just a bar and a long line out the casino floor. U shaped bar with a couple of tables around the bar. Exterior is very unique, a rock sea formation made to feel like you are at sea and interior lighting is very moody with clam seashell sconces on the wall. I ordered the Linguine and Clams with white sauce pasta. Very light but yet flavorful. My boyfriend ordered the Louisiana Seafood Boil (House Boil (Mussels, Clams, Shrimp) this was a big platter. He loved it and almost ate everything. Surprisingly, we had a good experience overall.

Alexandra G.

Yelp
Oyster Bar is perfect for date night! The wait goes by fairly fast, so if there is a line, no need to worry! The seafood jambalaya is a rather huge portion, and I tend to eat the rest of leftovers! You can adjust your spice level however you'd like. The white peach sangria is perfectly balanced and pairs well with the dishes. The oysters are also fresh and delicious! If you're craving seafood, I highly recommend!

Nakia K.

Yelp
Great flavor, but the dishes we ordered had tons of sand as if the clams hadn't been rinsed at all.

Yelp
Amazing food ! The flavor is so good! I've been here a few times and I am never disappointed. The restaurant is small but they do have seating at the bar as well. I love the way the restaurant looks, it's nice and they have a waterfall on the outside. The service is great and the waiters are super friendly and helpful if you want advice on what to order. I highly recommend coming here and giving it a try!

Yelp
Went for a quick bite with family and let me tell you it was all the way worth it. Service was fast & friendly. Food was fresh and delicious (like some of the great seafood restaurants in San Francisco) can't wait to return and do it all over again. Food put me in a great mood to win $2K...thank you!!!

Yelp
If you are in Las Vegas and craving for Pan Roast, this is the place to go. This is a must go to restaurant for me when I'm visiting Las Vegas. They also have a restaurant in the Palace Station and at the Santa Fe Station, but my favorite of the three is this location located at the Sunset Station. The Sunset Station location has more seating and I've never waited for more than 30 min. Once I went to the Palace Station location, we waited for over 2 hours because they only have about 18 seats at the bar. The Sunset Station location has bar seating as well as tables that can fit about 2-6 people. They are known for their pan roast, chowder, and other seafood dishes. The servers here also have great customer service and are very friendly. I order the combo pan roast which consists of shrimp, pieces of crab, and pieces of lobster in a creamy tomato stew type of sauce. Simply delicious! They serve it with a scoop of steamed white rice and also offer it at different heat levels. They serve most seafood dishes from crab legs oysters, clam chowder, etc... But, if you have someone who is allergic to seafood or shellfish, only dishes they serve are cesar salad and chicken gumbo. The Oyster Bar will allow you to bring food from their neighboring restaurants for those allergic which I thought was an awesome thing. If you are craving for any type of seafood stew, this is your place!

Yelp
We ordered pan roast combo, it's kinda bland. Cannot compare to the oyster bar in palace station. Even though there is no wait, I will not come back again.

Yelp
This place has been around for years recently a coworker recommended the grilled oysters So me and 3 other people gave it a try The place is very small literally just a bar and a few tables so don't go if you have a large party or want to sit comfortably Of course we ordered the famous grilled oysters Luie salad, gumbo, and another seafood dish forgot the name Tbe oyster where ok the grilling aspect definitely gave them a totally different taste Gumbo was nothing special The other seafood dish was lacking SEAFOOD The salad was amazing the free sourdough rolls also amazing Other than that I wasn't impressed The service was ok not enough help and the layout is difficult for the servers to move around No pictures I wasn't impressed besides it very dark horrible lighting I would not recommend I won't be back Over price to much hype

Yelp
Limited seating, so I went on a weekday close to opening time and sat at the bar right away. One team member tending to the bar and one out on the floor tending to all the tables. This makes for somewhat slow service, but overall it's good and attentive. After years of anticipation I finally got a chance to visit one of the Station casino Oyster Bars. Although I always had in mind to make it the one at Palace Station, it just hasn't happened. I was near Sunset Station and it finally did. Now for the food... I only had the combo pan roast and holy crap is it good and worth every penny of the $33 price tag. People next to me were having some sort of intricate salad and they raved about it. Other neighbors were having some fresh oysters "less earthy" as they called them, and then a seafood platter of some sort. They were giving high praises to all their food as well. I'm a good eater so the pan roast was great for me, but I can easily have shared it with someone and had another plate to share as well. Check it out. I don't know if the palace station is that much better but this was excellent nonetheless.

Yelp
After the not as positive of an experience as it could be at PK's Oyster Bar and not waiting to wait in the long lines at Palace Station, we drove to Oyster Bar at Sunset Station, after spending part of the afternoon in Bolder City. This location not only has bar seating but also tables to accommodate additional patrons! No wait to be seated - ding, ding, ding! This Oyster Bar appears to be housed in a cave and created some ambiance. The menu is very similar and has many of the standard Oyster Bar options if you are accustomed to Palace Station. We order two bowls of New England clam chowder and a dozen charbroiled oysters, since we love the chargrilled oysters from New Orleans. We were informed that pan roast orders accounted for ~85% of the orders at this location. Given the pan roast at PK's and the gumbo debacle there (see my review), we opt'd to go a different route since this wasn't intended to be a full meal, just more late afternoon snacking. The clam chowder is the bee's knees - so darn rich and buttery, with a generous amount of clams. I'd definitely get again. The charbroiled oysters were good but not great - while one of the chef's indicated they were made with garlic, butter and parmesan cheese, just like they do in NOLA, these did not stand up, despite being very large oysters. They were fresh and we think that perhaps it was the parmesan that was throwing things off (too much or perhaps they use a different type of parmesan). Service was solid and friendly! We'd definitely return and get the pan roast and gumbo next time!

Yelp
This is a local underrated secret why go to Palace Station oyster bar and wait over two hours every time when you can come here gets it immediately with the same great food, same great taste save the time to enjoy your Vegas and go to Sunset Station

Yelp
I stopped in here while staying at the Sunset Casino Hotel. The service was fast and courteous. I sat down, ordered and had the oysters in front of me in less than 5 minutes. The oysters could have been a bit bigger for the price, but they tasted good. The atmosphere is nice and the waterfalls drown out the sound of the casino.

Yelp
Always great. We eat there at least 3 times each time we stay at The Station. Prices are very reasonable. Don't worry I'll be back!

Yelp
Had to do a 180 from the location at Palace Station. It had a bar and no sit down dinning. My group entoyed the Sunset Station location. Two kinds of raw oysters that were yummy. My wife's boullibasei was filled with seafood. And my gumbo did also. The gumbo had two pieces of lobster about six oncses. Wow didn't expect that. Shimp, oysters and bits of crab. Two great dishes. Stay Safe.
