Adana Grillhaus Review - Kreuzberg - Berlin - The Infatuation

"Berlin has a big Turkish population, so you’ll find Turkish grills all over the city, and one of the most famous is Adana Grillhaus. There are two locations right around the corner from each other in Kreuzberg, but the one on Skalitzer Strasse is brighter and better for big groups. Both are open until the early morning, and their adana kebab is one of the best ways to end a night of drinking your way down Oranienstraße at spots like Café Luzia and Biererei Bar." - Olivia Ladanyi

Google
Kind of a rinky dink atmosphere with old furniture. Service was great, they gave us free Turkish tea and salad. It was pretty cool to be able to watch the chef prepare the meats and roast them on kebabs over the fire in front of us! The cold sampler platter was tasty, hummus could have been more salty and the beans were incredibly dense (in the best way possible). Very neat heavy menu, limited vegetarian options exist. They definitely preference paying in cash, but don’t let them fool you, they have a card machine as well.

The best bbq lamb in Berlin. The kebab is just incredible, and the bread is to die for.

We actually tried the other Adana kebap restaurant around the corner first, but they completely ignored us—we stood at the entrance and no one even acknowledged us. At Öz Adana, it was the complete opposite. The staff welcomed us warmly and were very helpful. They even arranged a table outside for us, just as we asked. While we waited, they served us Turkish tea, which was a lovely touch. The food arrived quickly, and the bread was served warm—a must for kebap! The Adana kebap was delicious! As for the mezes, they were good, but I think the flavors could be fine-tuned a bit to better match the traditional local taste—for example, adding a little lemon and salt to the hummus. The acılı ezme was nice too, but not quite the flavor we were expecting. Still, definitely come here and enjoy the great food and warm service!

Had a dinner at Öz. Very busy place - dine in and take out, witch makes restaurant clumsy instead of top notch having in mind that grill options are very delicious. 12€ for very little hummus with some eggplant. Mixed grill plate tasted good but quantity for the price (31€) was a but disapointing. Did not liked the service, could use more attention to the things what was ordered. There is one thing you should try there as a must though - Baklava with icecream. Berlin is full of Turkish options - next time rather would explore some other restaurant.

Place is authentic and vibes feel like you are in Turkey. Place is clean and cozy , staff are so welcoming and took our order fast We waited a little bit longer than expected but it was worth it indeed..🤌🏻 The meat is so tender ,well seasoned and perfectly cooked as well. I liked the Ayran alot worth a try for sure. Portions are very good. Accept cash and card payments.

The prices are relatively high but portions are big, food is perfectly tasteful, you get bread as a compliment and the service is really nice and people are kind. I would definitely visit again.

Yelp
First time here at this Turkish restaurant. Very kind personal. You can see your food being prepared on the grill. They roast this amazing bread with garlic oil. The bread is so addictive. Food was nice Little ad to the review. It had 5 stars,.... Ow 3 They do not accept card payment,.. so I had to go outside in the snow to get money. Really not ok. This will stop me to go here ever again
