Ozo is a calm haven of specialty coffee and spacious seating. Like pourovers? This is the spot: there’s a selection of 4+ options, and they’ll let you smell the beans to get a sample for your senses. The flavors themselves were unique, and single-origin sourced from all over. My Colombian Ombligan pourover tasted like toasted cranberries melded into a mellow cup of Joe. Lovely aesthetic served in ceramic. The space is clean and minimalist with a small splash of wall artwork and plants. Additional amenities: local artist crafts, small back patio, and self-service water. Great playlist too. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Topher! Coffee score: 4.5/5. Everything else score: 4.5/5. Overall score: 4.5/5.

Google
Ozo coffee is my favorite coffee and I always make it a point to stop here when I'm in Colorado. The honey lavender latte is a favorite of mine. My dog also enjoys the pup cups & the staff is always friendly.

Google
This is a great coffee shop downtown Boulder. Always consistent, always friendly people. They have great local drinks like Agua Fresca and it looks like they will soon to carry lit lemonade.

Google
Excellent oat milk latte and cozy atmosphere with relaxing music. Best “self-service” selection of sweeteners and spices I have ever seen in a coffee place. You can get all the usual mainstream traditional sugar and chemical sweeteners in addition to natural spices and sweeteners such as agave, honey, simple sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa. Opens at 6 am everyday except Sunday at 7 am. A coffee shop shouldn’t be called a coffee shop unless it opens early in my non-humble opinion. Thank you, OZO.

Google
Got the honey lavender oat latte and it was so good . The right amount of sweetness, so soft and smooth Also I love their approach to less waste . They have very nice reusable cups for $2 not a plastic one! Also boxes / buckets for beans. So simple but it is actually works! I wish more places would be the same with simple things to have less waste!

Google
One of my fav coffee shops of all time. I love how the marshmallow really comes through on their espresso roast. Whenever I'm in town I get a big bag to take home.

Ryan Dorrill

Google
Tasty coffee and pastries with plenty of space to unwind and read. I had a black coffee, and my colleagues had a cappuccino and the eggnog latte. The staff were really friendly too!

Google
Wonderful coffee shop! Coffee is delicious. The place is clean. Baristas alone get 5 stars for friendliness. Perfect to get some work done, get a drink by yourself, or meet up with friends.

Yelp
Very good coffee that's commonly found here in Boulder Colorado! Nice staff and lots of indoor and outdoor seating which is good if you're in the area and need a work space. Highly recommend to anyone (:

Yelp
I got an iced "cinnamon cereal milk" oatmilk matcha latte and it was AMAZING. Never thought of matcha and cinnamon together and it rocked my world. 10/10 reccomend

Carolyn Aspenson ..

Yelp
Good coffee. Friendly staff. Coffee doesn't taste burned like Starbucks. Nice area to walk in
google avatar

Yelp
Good coffee and good matcha! The baristas here know what they're doing. Cute place to hangout or study.

Yelp
Friendly and fast service in a nice big space great for working from. Try the coconut ginger chai, it is delicious and spicy!

Yelp
Pretty good spot in the heart of downtown Boulder. Seasonal drinks are fun. * Peaches & Cream Cold Brew - 3.5 stars The peach cold foam was pretty good, but the foam was very thin and disappeared quickly, and then it just became a normal cold brew. * Cappuccino - 4 stars My partner was asked what roast he wanted, he'd never been asked that.

Yelp
The "it" spot in downtown boulder, as I'm told. Sealing out the local spot for coffee, we found ourselves here. I ordered a latte, and the hubby ordered a drip. The coffee was good! Nothing exceptional but better than your average joe. Staff were really great and talkative, if you invited conversation. First time I've had a convo with my batista that matured more than 30 seconds even with a line behind me. It was lovely Love there focus on sustainability and encouraging everyone to use reusable cups. Shop was spacious and had lots of seating.

Yelp
When I visited my daughter in Denver we stopped by at Ozo on Pearl St in Boulder. This is a solid coffee shop with wonderful variety of drinks, nice space to sit, and friendly employees. We ordered rose latte, it was really good! We sat by the counter near the front window and it was relaxing to sip the latte and people watch. Looking forward to coming back here again on my next visit!

Yelp
Fast service, great coffee. I love the homemade honey lavender syrup! Ozo is definitely my go-to coffee place when I'm in Boulder.
google avatar

Yelp
I like coffee shops that are spaced like this. Lots of small tables for people to go on their laptops and work quietly or have meetings. The prices are average. Food and drink quality are average. This is one of those places that doesn't stick out, but features everything you could ever need.

Yelp

Yelp
Cool day in Boulder, needed a hot drink.. walking on Pearl street this place was busy, so, obviously it must be good! The crowds don't lie. Very good. We had a cappuccino, espresso and pumpkin pie latte. All very good. Made to perfection. There's plenty of space inside and some seating outside to chat with friends or sit by yourself and observe the happenings around you. Very comfortable and welcoming.

Yelp
Ozo is two doors over from my office on Pearl so is a goto for me and my office mates. The Ozo team is always nice and do their best to serve you with a smile. They service top notch coffee drinks and they make a fine iced latte which is my choice. If you want a great coffee drink then you can't go wrong with Ozo.

Rachel D.

Yelp
Super delicious, flavorful, and smooth coffee! Not much in terms of pastries but they have a selection of burritos and breakfast sandwiches you can grab and heat up
google avatar

Britney C.

Yelp
Sorry to report this but this place is just no good, there are just much better options here in Boulder (especially pearl st) in my humble opinion. This place is basically starbucks so if you like mediocre coffee, this is the coffee shop for you!
google avatar

Cathrine S.

Yelp
Ozo coffee was a convenient stop on our way out of Boulder, it was very busy with locals or students working on their laptops/grading papers. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, but the coffee seemed overpriced for the quality. The flavors were bland, it wasn't anything worth coming back to in my opinion. But again, it is convenient when shopping the pearl street mall..

Yelp
A different coffee shop we wanted to visit was closed, so we stopped by Ozo for some coffee and chai. The person who took our order mistook that we wanted both drinks hot, and that we wanted the Cholaca Mocha sweetened even after we repeated what we wanted because the server seemed preoccupied. There were really good reviews for the Bhakti Chai, but we thought it was underwhelming (and quite frankly, Dushanbe Teahouse does it better). The chai was too milky, and didn't have as much flavor. If you like strong flavors, it might be worth asking the barista to make it "stronger." We also ordered the hot and sweetened Cholaca Mocha Latte, but it was unsweetened, and when it came out as an iced drink, it took over 10 minutes to get our drink correct. We also had to remind the barista that we still didn't receive our order. At this point, we didn't want to wait longer to get the sweetened Cholaca, so we just sweetened it ourselves. There are plenty of great coffee shops in Boulder. I wouldn't visit this one again though :(

Yelp
Ozo coffee brings you that neighborhood cafe feels in the midst of downtown Boulder. They have plenty of seats for you to study or just kill time with reading a book. Perfect place to chit chat and congregate with your friends / fam. I ordered a Bhakti Chai which had more ginger notes to it. And it's amazing!! If you want your chai to be more cinnamon-y, definitely go for the Sherpa Chai.

Yelp
Love this little coffee shop in Denver. I've also seen their name mentioned in various ice cream shops in the area for coffee flavors, so this place definitely holds weight in the community. I'm not so crazy for the honey lavender sweetener, but it seems to be a local preference and it adds a flair to the drink that made me pleasantly surprised. Great prices for coffee and decent place to stay and hang out. You can work here, too, or just stop by for a pickup. I didn't try the food, but I'd be back for another shot.

Catherine M.

Yelp
I absolutely love ozo coffee! They have great, interesting flavored mochas and everyone on the staff is always super friendly. Always my stop for coffee when I am on Pearl!
google avatar

Yelp
We really like this spot on Pearl St in Boulder. Coffees and teas are excellent and there's a decent selection of pastries. There's a surprising amount of seating and a couple of tables outside at the back. I particularly appreciate that the feature Rishi teas, a very flavorful brand. Overall always a pleasing experience!
google avatar

Shelly D.

Yelp
Ordered an ice latte. Strong coffee, so it's great! Amazing study vibes with plenty of tables. Prices are decent too. Can't really say about service since we had minimal interaction with the staff
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely the best mug of coffee I've had my entire trip to Colorado. I was only in Boulder for one day and I'm really glad I picked this as my coffee shop to go to. They have an awesome house-made alternative milk that actually gets a good froth to it and doesn't impact the flavor of the coffee too much. I tried out one of their flavored mochas - the almond joy one - and thought I'd probably gotten something too sweet for my tastes. I was wrong! It was the perfect balance. Not too sweet, not too bitter. To top it off, it had gorgeous latte art. This would probably be my go-to coffee shop if I lived in Boulder. Doesn't hurt it's walking distance to Spruce Confections (I went there first and grabbed a scone to go with the coffee). Lively coffee house scene with places to sit and study. Baristas are friendly and will help you order. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Went on a work trip to Boulder. Ozo is right around the corner from my office so I decided to trek on over. I am so glad I did. It definitely has the cozy coffee shop vibes, even if it is pretty busy all of the time. It has some really cool items for sale from local vendors, as well as some of their own stuff. I bought a trout sticker (yes, a sticker of a fish.) I can't remember what the speciality latte I ordered was called but I do know that it was good enough that I came back 2-3 more times during my trip to get it again. The baristas were so nice. Patient with me because I was trying to convince myself to try something new. They definitely didn't mind having a conversation and you could tell they enjoyed their job.

Yelp
Great quality, good services, nice taste. Recommend if you are at Boulder. Not really can find other place like this coffee.
google avatar

CosBos G.

Yelp
This place has exceptional coffee. I'm new to Boulder but this place has the best espresso I've had so far. Pretty much everyone who works here is a huge coffee nerd and it shows. It seems like they always have some interesting single origin roast --usually more expensive but has not disappointed yet! Prices are fair and pretty much all baristas are wonderful and competent. They have a nice quiet-ish space in the back that's great for doing a bit of work/studying if you can tolerate a bit of background noise. My only critique is that their gf baked goods don't look very appetizing but points for at least having options!

Katie B.

Yelp
We always stop by Ozo coffee when we visit Boulder. This last experience wasn't as great due to the barista's slight attitude but we know it's a good spot and we will be back. I would love to see them expand their house made syrups menu!
google avatar

Zachary H.

Yelp
Great vibe and great grinds. Super friendly staff, and lots of choices for great coffee & tea. We had the Sherpa & Bhakti Chai, both aren't to be missed. A little Marley on the sound system, and you habethe perfect ingredients fir a chill afternoon to sip and discuss and enjoy the day as the earth spins around and around.

Anna S.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, and it was fine. But my iced latte was pretty weak. I ordered the largest size, so maybe that's why. But the atmosphere here was great, I love the indoor and outdoor seating, and the great Pearl Street location.
google avatar

Asko B.

Yelp
Amazing tasting coffee. Now we have ordered 5lbs of their beans for our home coffee maker. Recommend this place.
google avatar

Elliott W.

Yelp
So, so very good. The coffee is the perfect balance of bitter, chocolate, and smooth. I take my cappuccino with heavy cream instead of milk and the very friendly staff do it just right. I wish there was an ozo back home... Boulder has a gem.
google avatar

shintoo p.

Yelp
Wow, I got a cappuccino with their Costa Rican light roast and on my first sip I said out loud, "wow". The servers helped me decide what to get, and informed me clearly on what all the different coffee drinks were going to be like. As someone who is accustomed to Italian roast, I can say it was fun trying something new. The atmosphere is dim, but with an excellent selection of world music. I can't wait to go back and try more.

Yelp
OMG BEST COFFEE I'VE EVER HAD! We came to look around the downtown area and since it was still morning I wanted to grab some coffee. I found OZO through Yelp and wow I wish I could give more stars! They use their own coffee bean brand and wow usually when I get hazelnut latte, it always ends up very sweet bc of the syrup but Ozo made me say wow every time I took a sip! I seriously regret not getting a bigger size! I sound like I am over exaggerating but even my boyfriend and his parents loved the coffee. The baristas there are all super chill and nice. There were a lot of people there just studying or talking. The area around the cafe is also a very nice place to walk around to look at and do some shopping! I will be visiting CO soon and this place is definitely on the list!
google avatar

Morgan S.

Yelp
Great coffee shop in downtown Boulder! I love that they have so many non-dairy milk options, including a homemade cashew almond milk. The cappuccino was great.
google avatar

Liz R.

Yelp
For my Caribbean palate it has been the best coffee I have had in the United States since I have traveled.

David W.

Yelp
Ask for the coffee for extra hot. That is the reason I gave 3 stars Great flavor coffee it was just luke warm. Attention to detail for fundamental coffee making is important.

Jamie S.

Yelp
Great coffee, tea and breakfast items. Came here every morning. Quick and inexpensive.
google avatar

Amanda F.

Yelp
Had the Bergen. Was delicious! Would definitely return if I was in Boulder. Nice atmosphere and good customer service.

Marty D.

Yelp
Coffee with a side of butt cheek and a scowl!!! Ordered a cafe au lait..it was great. What wasn't great was the staff I encountered..... she was a blond with a long single braid down the center of her back..... as I waited for my coffee I watched how this staff member dealt with customers. First off, she didn't smile, and scowled constantly. The look on her face seemed like she was smelling something bad. Every customer she dealt with encountered this resting bitch face. Additionally, she was wearing a skort that was so short that her butt cheeks were hanging out. I noticed that the other employees were appropriately dressed... didn't see their but cheeks. Perhaps this staff member needs to smile as she deals with customers, and maybe wear more appropriate clothing.

Yelp
Thank you, Ozo, for making me the best caramel cappuccino I have ever had. :) Also berry cream cheese scone was *chefs kiss* We enjoyed our Boulder vacay even more because of you!

Yelp
Good coffee and service! Love GF options! Great space to study and work! Love it's location, too!!

Yelp
My wife and I decided to visit Boulder last Sunday morning during our recent long weekend in Denver. As soon as we found parking near Pearl Street Mall, we knew exactly what we had to do: check Yelp for a great coffee place. Yelp suggested Ozo, so that's where we went. No surprise -- Ozo was excellent. We both got iced mochas with oat milk and vanilla and they were super tasty -- rich, chocolatey, and very flavorful. We liked it so much that we stopped by Ozo again to refuel Monday afternoon on the way back to Denver International Airport after our epic journey through Rocky Mountain National Park and night at the Stanley Hotel. 5 stars!
google avatar

Sheila R.

Yelp
I have never been treated as rudely in an establishment as I was at Ozo. It was my first visit there, and upon entering, I walked past a customer standing several feet from the counter. I passed him so that I could look at the menu and figure out my order ahead of time. The female Ozo employee screamed at me, "there is a line!" She yelled loudly and angrily, and her reaction was completely out of proportion. It should have been clear that I wasn't cutting in line given that I walked directly over to the menu. Even the guy that I walked past apologized for her reaction. After that, I promptly left. What a horrible experience!
google avatar

Josh Y.

Yelp
Pricey and long line but excellent coffee and cheerful service. Predictably hipster and delicious coffee and chai latter. Get the spicier of the two chai options. Not too spicy and very delicious. Great treat after a hike up Chautauqua. Almost like a Boulder Starbucks feel. I'd totally come hang out here and do work on an afternoon if I lived here. 5 stars for sure.
google avatar

Kathryn M.

Yelp
We were driving downtown & we came across a quaint coffee shop so we decided to stop in. There's a small outdoor seating area for warmer weather. As you walk in you'll see plenty of tables to the left & more further down. They sell a lot of cups, candies, and other miscellaneous gifts. The young lady at the counter was very friendly & helpful with what mocha to order. I decided on the Mayan & hubby ordered the Stargazer. They were equally delicious! They also sold pastries, desserts & breakfast. Glad we came here!
google avatar

May W.

Yelp
Trendy coffee shop on Pearl Street and it would be great to people watch while having a cup outside. Got the cold brew and it was a little in the sour side. Baristas we're really nice and they have a lot of unique options on the menu.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Love it, this is one of the best cappuccinos I've had! The only downfall is that now I'm going to want to stop at Ozo EVERY time I come to Boulder because I thought it was great. Fast and quality service and great tasting coffee!
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Wow wow wow, what a great CO local coffee place. I was exploring pearl street on a stop for a road trip and this is where yelp reviews took me. It was moderately busy, but full of friendly and talkative people. The barista was kind and warm, even with a long line. I just ordered black coffee and a cherry danish and it was pretty good. Coffee was average but the friendly and eco friendly vibes made me give it the rating I did.
google avatar

Yelp
Ozo is a fun little coffee shop located near Boulder's busy Pearl Street shopping district, and a great place to grab some coffee downtown. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. She had the cold brew and a I had a double espresso. Both were great and hit the spot, and we enjoyed them sitting at a table on the sidewalk, which made for great people watching on a nice day.
