I really loved the interior of this café—the open center kitchen gives it a lively feel, and having the roastery at the end adds such a unique touch. The staff were all attentive, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable. Food came out quickly and was very delicious. While the prices are on the higher side and the portions a bit small, the quality makes up for it. There’s plenty of seating to suit any mood, from kitchen bar style seating and different styles of table seating arrangements. As expected from a roastery, the coffee was exceptional. Overall, I had a great time here and would happily come back.

Second time visit on a Saturday. It was busy as the staff are friendly but once we were seated it does get a little hard to get someone’s attention to order. However we order two dishes and matcha latte. I had the pancakes which initially it sounded amazing on the menu. When it turned up I personally thought the pancake was too thick for my liking and with the spices and nuts added on top didn’t really add anything on to the dish. For the matcha latte I tasted very watered down compared to the other places I have visited. I would recommend their coffee which is amazing the last time I tried it!!!! They also have so many options to buy coffee beans. Overall the vibe is definitely very modern and industrial style perfect for great photos and the ambiance 5/5! Would give it another try but maybe in a less busier time.

I really enjoyed my visit here! The atmosphere was fancy yet cozy and spacious, making it a great place to relax. Both the artisan selections and food were high quality and delicious. Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had recently. The only thing to keep in mind is that customer parking is very limited (only about 5 spots), but you can easily park at a nearby paid parking area. Overall, a wonderful cafe experience that I’d be happy to return to!

A great spot to try a range of coffees and find your favourite brew. Also a good range of other drinks for the non coffee drinkers. We have had a few brunch and lunch meals here. It is very busy but the staff are also very efficient! Seating, water jug and ordering by generally friendly staff is quick. It can be noisy so make sure to double check they have heard your order properly.

Wonderful brunch and fabulous service. We 3 were offered a choice of 2 places to sit and had warm attentive service. Coffee of course was good as was the omelette..super generous and oh my, the kedgeree..best I’ve eaten in years. The corn bread is till on the menu and still delicious and super generous. I haven’t been here in a while and it was lovely to see it’s still as good as ever. I was a bit disappointed the cabinet food options were poor and all sweet; and it is pricey ..but then everywhere is! Recommended.

I’ve been here last year and the food was amazing, quite different with other cafe. But this time I think maybe they change their chef and the recipe??The food is so bad. The omelette lose the special taste. I ordered fries and they use not fresh oil to cook. Also overcooked very hard fries. obviously the fries taste very bad. Not recommended to visit here for food.

Nice place in a spot we haven't known about. The service was great. The food was good. I had venison mince on toast, different but tasty. My partner had aged gouda cornbread, with a chilli butter and eggs, and loved it. The normal eggs on toast were apparently also really tasty.

Yelp
Love this place!! It's chic and modern and they have their own roastery. I love that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating perfect for a date, business meeting or just casual coffee with friends. I ordered the oatmilk latte, single origin, and it was delicious. It smelled good and tasted great. It wasn't acidic and just love the boldness of it. I'm falling in love with the coffee culture here in NZ!!

Yelp
About a month ago, a few foodies and I went along to the opening of Ozone Coffee Roasters in Grey Lynn, where we sampled some of their menu dishes and got to know more about their brand. At the opening, I came across a long table at the back of the eatery and thought "this would be perfect for the NZ Bloggers Brunch Club!" So, a few weekends' ago, I hosted my first NZ Bloggers Brunch Club at Ozone Coffee! There were about 20 bloggers in total, and it was lovely to welcome some new faces along, as well as catch up with old friends. Ozone Coffee has been roasting coffee and building relationships in New Plymouth, London and beyond for the past 20 years. Ozone's latest venture in Grey Lynn is an all-day eatery, with seating for 100, complete with an open kitchen, and a dedicated coffee bar, with many brews on offer and their beans are roasted on-site - make sure you take a peek at the back to see all the action! The space is beautifully designed, with high ceilings, booth seating, and its industrial style features create a warm and hospitable feel... great for the 'gram! Everyone agreed that Ozone's menu is innovative and there is something for everyone, with allergies and intolerances well catered for. Their menu showcases sustainably sourced and seasonal fare, with dishes such as the Lamb Burger with hand-cut chips, Seeded granola with Hawke's Bay stone-fruit and Velda's 3-Cheese Italian Pancake. Some of the dishes we enjoyed included: - Eggs Benedict on bubble 'n' squeak cakes with hollandaise and bacon - Smoked Kawahai on Rye bread with karengo chili jam, fried egg, cucumber and herbs - Velda's 3-Cheese Pancake with poached egg, silverbeet, peach chutney and creme fraiche - Smoked cheddar fry-bread with avocado, poached egg and fermented chilli yoghurt - Lamb Burger with black olive mayo, cheddar, spiced peach chutney and hand-cut chips NB. I also had brunch at Ozone Coffee the previous week and ordered their Veggie Brekkie with poached eggs on seeded sourdough, dry cured bacon, chewy roast tomatoes, kimchi greens, halloumi and hash brown, which was super yummy! Bonus - Ozone Coffee is dog friendly, meaning you can dine while sitting next to your dog! It was a great morning out - delicious food, decor and most importantly, the lovely company! A huge thank you to Ozone Coffee for their hospitality!

Yelp
Good coffee, attentive service, nice interior. Didn't try the food so I need to return.

Yelp
Such a rip off. I had the Coromandel mussel fritters and my husband had the kedgeree. The fritters came like a fritter bomb and I think had been made with a chick-pea flour, so looked deliciously crunchy and brown. Shame about the absence of mussels tho, one piece of tough lip was the only piece across 3 or 4 fritters. My husband found one piece of smoked fish in his overly spiced kedgeree. The coffee was adequate. Man at those prices - really unforgivable. The parking was a nightmare.

Yelp
2 hour wait from arriving to finally getting food!! Big breakfast haha more like small sad breakfast. Honestly for the hype of this place I was really let down. Coffee wasn't great either. Won't be returning
