For the truckers, 101 north to 3rd st exit follow on down , I turned on Carroll Ave swing very wide to turn in it , left on Ingalls, docks are at corner of Ingalls and Yosemite on right , I just pulled into Yosemite left then backed up across to be able to back in dock , tight ass area crazy drivers everywhere!!!!!

I accidently ordered a chub before I realized the shipping charge and immediately canceled it they refuse to cancel my order. Shipping charge is more then the product cost. I have tried to cancel this order for three days without any luck shame ion them. They continue to say it has shipped there is no way it shipped on a weekend. I should have got it on amazon with no shipping charge.

Been buying their salami for well over 20 years. Went to Costco this weekend before Easter, and the price is now at $28 a stick. Sorry, this tradition has come to an end.

I'm an OTR driver and I delivered here this morning. Not being familiar with the area I called and got directions, the lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful. I parked on the street (ingalls) last night and spent the night with no issues. At about 0600 the forklift operator came out and got me going. I backed into the door and got unloaded. The dock is a little tough to get into but its definitely do-able. All in all it was a good experience and I would have no issues coming back. Note: plumper fees are CASH only.

I used to love doing business with these guys in "the good old days". Now, I place an order on Sept. 6 (Wednesday), they ship it (via UPS for $24.77) on Sept. 8 (Friday) and it arrives on September 15 (Friday). The absolutely best part is it arrives in box labeled “KEEP REFRIGERATED”. I stuck a thermometer in the product. The temperature read 87°F. I can tell how much they appreciate giving me the business.

The lady, the boss and unloaded unprofessional. After being there early n onX I asked for a bathroom & was told I wasn’t lady like for asking to use. I’m sorry mayb ℹ identity as a trk driver or a male. Wanna see my joy stick?

If you are an OTR driver, chances are you will be delivering at the building #1375 (Ice House). They have a sign that says they open at 08:15am, but I was able to check in at 07:00am. If there is no one at building #1375, you can try the corner of Angalls and Armstrong. There is an intercom with a button you can press to talk to the receiver. By the way, the intercom volume is very low.

Excellent salami. Check their website for options before visiting or read the pamphlet when you arrive. Street parking nearby. Cash only for purchases by the public.

Order 4 1lb dry salami on a Saturday and received it UPS on a Tuesday. Fast and Efficient. Definitely would recommend. And the Salami is just the right size to cut and eat while watching a game. Gotta visit the store next. Thank You.

The best dry Salame made period and I have tried all of them. The Salame has a very different flavor and taste depending on the thickness. I decided to buy a meat slicer a long time ago, that way you can buy a whole Salame and slice it yourself.

I grew up a North Beach San Franciscan baby so I grew up eating Molinari with my Salesian Catholic church. Salami is God tier, definitely the best I've eaten, although I've never gone to Italy. Their salami has a great garlic taste, so vampires beware. Their entrance is a little hard to find and not too obvious. It's on 2350 Ingalls in a nondescript door, and the door was even locked on me once (had to flag a wandering worker outside to open it for us). Service is as cold as the fridges the cured meats are kept in, which isn't too cold but hey. You should have a general idea of what you want before you go in, because you won't be given a tour or anything fancy. It's just a dude at the window asking you what you want. Good thing I took a picture of the brochure for you all. Cash only and you must pay by the lb. Prices are a bit lower than retail/their website. You cut your own salami. Don't eat the rind. They make for really good Christmas presents, etc. especially for people who love eating meat. I didn't really like the hot salame - it didn't have much flavor other than the chili peppers that were in it. I'll be on an eventual mission to try all of their cured meats, though. But definitely get the Italian dry salame when you come here!

Best Salami Ever!! I am 77 years old and have grown up with this salami. There's no other salami that pass my lips but Molinari. One taste and your hooked.

Bought this salami from Costco. The price was great (thanks Costco) but the salami wasn't as mind-blowing as what I was expecting from these reviews.

Love this. Place when I have company from out-of-state, I always bring him to the salam factory.

It's helpful to call in your orders in advance 2 days prior for sweet or spicy Italian sausage. They carry many types of sausages here and also dry cured meats. They are typically out to lunch between 12-12:30 pm. Make sure you pick up before 2pm.

I can't say enough about Molinari & Sons! It feels like walking into an old school shop in Italy (or New York)! The Italian sandwich was probably the best I've ever had! And the customer service was fantastic. The young man was courteous and very helpful. Suggesting other specialties such as the homemade tortellini and sauce. It's completely out of the way for us to get there, but I will drive across town again soon for that sandwich and service!

Their website is extremely helpful. Lots of detail in the product description and some good options on sizes of the products. For folks who cannot get to SF to buy their products or live in a area of the country where Italian Salame is virtually unknown, their website ordering system is perfect. The shipping costs are fair, but only if you buy a reasonably large order. The shipment is fast.

I visited this week. The factory is still open to the public. The entrance is at 2350 Ingalls, around the corner from the published address. Look for the "Shipping & Receiving - Will Call" signage above the door. They're open from 8am-2pm M-F, but they are closed from Noon-12:30pm for lunch. Cash only! The store carries all of the items that you see on their mail order website, but prices are at least 20% less than on the site. Plus, you know you're getting the freshest supply. Awesome.

Back in the 70s my father and his friends opened deli mia in san lorenzo across from arroyo high school me and my brother worked catering weddings and maintaining. We used mostly molinari meats and sandwiches were made on toscana sour dough bread. Ill never forget when i met the father pete my father would by a case of large chubs salami sticks i was only 14 driving him in crazy s.f.o. in his 78 seville delivering salami and a bottle of vino he would give as christmas gifts to contractors that he done work for, pete was a nice man and gave me a tour at the factory ill never forget going in the salami curing room and 100s of sticks hanging in there and one thing i remember was the smell, pete gave a 3 ft. bat in a molinari cardboard tube ever since that i bought there salami and coldcuts almost every deli luccas, genoa uses there coldcuts but big box stores pushed these types of delis to close safeway and luckys did to us and they dont sell molinari cold cuts to bad when there gone people well look back and say i sure miss that place or food, so please go there there in south s.f.o. and in north beach the molinari deli go there you wont be disappointed

I have been buying the 18" salami at Costco for some time. The meat quality is excellent, but on the last occasion, I found the salami so covered in groves parallel to the long dimension that an inordinate amount of time was consumed just to expose edible meat. The surface of the salami should be smooth enough to make simple peeling of the cover possible. With this one, it was necessary to scrape all of the paper off with a knife, parallel to the long axis and to dig the paper out of the grooves. Looks to me like a quality control issue.

ABSOLUTELY awesome. My family and my In-laws have shopped here for many years. A tradition we enjoy. ALWAYS fresh and so, so good. In store is best if you can get to them because delivery is expensive. It's Worth the drive. Buy as much as you can afford or carry. *They are Great gifts. *Downside: No parking available. You won't regret it.

This place is the best.. everything is soooo good. My husbands whole family has gotten their meat from here. It's been awhile since we've been here, I really miss the quality.

OMG this place is good... The only thing i brought on my epic 5 day motorcycle adventure was a 3 pound salami club...and did it ever make the trip go in style. I fear all my friends who still think I am vegetarian will find it that I broke my 5 year escape from meat to be entranced with this stuff..but seriously...i have some in my office..some in my house..and some stored in a compartment on my bike..You know..just in case...

As someone that goes to an old school butcher on a regular basis, I have a high appreciation for those that still practice the traditional meat arts. Molinari is a prime example of that in Italian form. Dry, cooked, & raw sausages spiced and cured into flavorful tube form. What's not to like here? pepperoni rewlz.

I guess factory is now closed. Like everything else, anything good is discontinued or in this case closed down. Guess they've called it quits! It will be missed.

I love their salami as i used to buy them from a local store but has closed down 2. Weeks ago and haven't been able to find it anywhere else so i came to San Francisco for the day and figured id stop by to buy some unfortunately they were closed even though the gentleman on the phone Friday when i called assured me they'd be open till 3pm i arrived at 1pm not a soul in sight smh what a waste of time gotta start looking for another salami provider

It's old school quality, the best. If you like Salame, Sausage, or any of the products they carry, it's the only place to go. Being raised by Italian grandparents, whenever I eat Molinari products, I get that little flashback from the 60's, when I was a kid and my grandparents were alive.

My Grandpa and our family have been going here for decades...A legend this place is for the quality of all there goods..

By far, the best salami in California and perhaps the USA. I had better salami in Italy, but that's pretty far away. Love Molinari!

I am posting this as a super fan of your sopressa. We live way in northern Michigan very north, and we buy whole sausage from our local deli that gets your sausage through their distributer. I cannot say enough of how delicious this sausage is.

This place has great salame. They are my favorite in the U.S. However, this company has the shittiest customer service and website I have ever encountered. They proudly show in pictures and state in text that their salame comes wrapped in a paper/mold wrapper. When it arrives at your home it does not. I buy from them because they do not use plastic wrappers, but one never knows what they'll get with this company. The website is atrocious. Very disorganized. Poor/hard to understand layout with limited descriptions. To add insult to injury, customer service via email is non-existant. After fucking up my order, I sent two emails over a ten day period. That was a month ago. Still haven't heard a thing. So...to sum up Molinari's, they have delicious salame. It's really good. Their customer service and website are an example of poor planning, terrible design and how to ignore your customers.
