Robbbed for my money. Said they don’t take card, came back with quarters. Said they won’t take quarters. Got cash - go to the bar and they said they aren’t serving alcohol anymore. Had the cop ask for my money back because they didn’t express that and they said no. Got a phone number for the owner, FRED, gave me a false number because he’s on vacation in Nashville. All I’m asking is for my 10$ back for the false information.

Bouncers are on a power trip over the 18 year olds they let illegally drink in their bar. Light skin bouncer with a tattoo on his neck is the worst culprit. If you want to have a decent time, do not go to this bar. Not only do you have to worry about drunk children grabbing women, but you also have to worry about the staff.

Kicked my friend out because he had X's on his hands and the lady at the front with the glasses gave him the wrong wrist band, admitted to the mistake, and then did nothing to undo her wrong. So he got kicked out for no reason due to their fault and giving them the wrong wristband. A group of girls next to us said they had the same thing happen to him. We asked for a manager they said they would send one, never did, so I kindly asked another bouncer, he yelled at us and told us he wouldn't be kicked out for no reason and threatened to kick us out just for wondering why this is all happening. I spoke to about 3 different bouncers, non of them helped or even gave any of us the time of the day. He paid 30$ for entry just to get kicked out because of a staff error. This is the worst bar I have ever been to. We were just standing there having a conversation and he gets kicked out. Never come here bro, overrated, rude, and insane treatment. Not our faults the bouncers at the entrance don't have a clue what is going on, must be why they work there in general, they have no brain or capability to do anything else but stand there and mess up. 0/10. I attached a picture of the ones who did this. Hopefully, the manager or owner of this place can get them together. They walked up to us and started taking pictures of us as well, like we have done anything wrong. I've never met worse losers and petty unprofessional workers. It's not hard to do your job as simple as being a bouncer.

Man was kicked out after he was pushed (accident, it was a busy and SMALL dance floor) into a girl who knew the bouncer (her boyfriend) . The girl knew she was in the wrong and proceeded to stick her tongue out like a child. I’ll pass on that.

If you aren’t white don’t come here. I’ve been all around the world and the country I’ve never been to a place that specially racially targeted its customers. For example we were a group of 10 people half of us were wearing white shirts. They only pulled the Asian guy in our group and refused entrances due to his shirt that was identical to all of ours. Honestly PRs is a really fun place to go.me and my boyfriend go there a lot. not to scare anybody off, but one night he did get spiked.so keep your eyes open.prs is definitely for the younger crowd im 21 and feel out of place if that says anything.but I always end up there

We had a group of 8 of us that arrived around 8pm Saturday July 5th, we secured a table for the evening and began to drink and enjoy the bar, at 12:20 pm a young lady with a Bride sash approached us and said get away from my table she was very drunk, early twenty's and very aggressive. Security was right behind her and advised they had sold the party table service and we had to leave the table we had been sitting at for 4 hours spending money as well! I told them it was our table and they advised us it wasn't anymore and made us leave the table! We took the high road and chose to leave. I actually own several bars myself and would never put my customers out for another one but that's me, lots of security as well as some police officers working for the bar, It really surprised me with that much security how many minors that were drinking and drunk! Over all a crappy place other than the bartender's It would be a great place for TABC to do a sting and investigate! #TABC

Be careful with people inside, if someone reports you with the staff they will not ask what happened or what's going on. I was kicked out of the place with no reason, I wasn't drunk wasn't bothering anyone but whatever, just be careful with who you are talking with or if you accidentally touch anyone. Not coming back ever.

Have to pay for water?? Bartenders are rude, I was on the verge of passing out and was told I had to pay cash for some water. Never had that happen before.

Went with a friend he got rudely and aggressively escorted out and was then thrown on the ground and punched for not listening. He is a military veteran and cannot hear very well due to an injury sustained during service. They refused to let him back in and were very rude and disrespectful when conversing with him. Never coming back just a lot of underage drinkers anyways.

The dance floor is small, the drinks are over priced, and the staff was rude. It was smelly and awkward in that entire building. It felt like a middle school hangout.

Probably the worst bar at the stockyards. They let in underage college and high school kids but don't let adults with white shirts or backpacks in. Not to mention they illegally stay open till 3 am. This bar is a joke. The only reason they're in business is because of underage kids. In addition they overcharge you and put extra drinks that never existed on your tab.

Been a regular here for years! Fun environment, good drinks and great bartenders! Definitely worth a visit when in the StockYards

Management and bar tenders are awful! I got assaulted twice by a woman and they continued to let her back into the bar.

DO NOT GO HERE. Or beware if you get the bartender named Shelby. If you use a card they will scam you, I bought two drinks and the total was 8 dollars and the girl was sweet so I tipped her $5. Come to find out she charged me $25 in a whole separate transaction before I had even paid my other bill. I never signed for anything else other than my two drinks. Lots of others have received similar experiences.

Good for an after hours dance to sober up, but man is there a rough crowd in here most nights. Staff is great, & attentive, & sometimes good local bands play live, but all in all, this is a for sure, authentic dive bar with all the trimmings. Gum, puke, pee, beer, and whatever is sticky on every surface in this place. Dont lean on A-N-Y-THING...dont wear open toed shoes, dont wear flip flops, your shoes will come off stuck on the floor! Cops do a good job of patrolling closer to 3, so that's good, & they watch closely after close to make sure no females are left to fall in with the wrong person(s). All in all, fine if your not quite ready to call saturday night quits, but Jesus, dont start the night here...you'll be covered in unclean surfaces an hour in!.

I hate to sound like that person, but racist staff. Came through one time with two guy friends. (to preface, dress code for this club does state no white tees, which we did not know until getting to the bouncer. However, I could not tell you how many plain white tees i saw going into that building) Long story short: one (black male) got turned away for wearing a white t shirt, the other (white male, black t shirt) got let in. So we took a lap around the building after seeing TWO other guys ahead of us in line wearing white t shirts get let in just fine, had the two friends switch shirts, and then our second time in the line (ten minutes later maybe) they both magically got let in?? Odd. However, when another worker over heard us talking about how the incident just went down, she decided to come and kick us out. No refunds. Exited by security, for two guys switching t shirts. Ridiculous.

Hopping place with a mixed of tourist and local patrons. Bartenders are attentive and drinks are fairly priced. I got their "tourist punch" which they'll give you the glass to keep and you can comeback with the glass for refill for a much lower price. The punch itself is not bad. This is a great place for dancing with a big group of friends.

It may not be fancy but it's lots of fun! The drinks are great prices and there is always lots of dancing and good times! Bartenders are very nice also! I would recommend checking it out!

I'm so glad that this bar is still open. I always have the best time of my life there the staff is great the customers are great they enforce to Covid rules which is amazing. Makes me feel safe and I still get to have fun best bar in Texas by far

FYI they charge a cover charge of $5. Not worth it. We have 10 people wanting to get drinks at 1am for a few of our birthdays and she wouldn't let us in. Their loss. You can go to other bars for free.

I'm not from TX, so this is the only bar I know about that beautiful white women love chocolate like it's Valentines Day Drinks not bad, good music by 1am I would say preferably. I didn't get a racist vibe at all tbh, Dana White is cool but he keeps calling me Odell like bruhhhh chill

While it's nice this place is open during COVID, they're treating their guests poorly. We noticed one lady specifically ignoring "locals" or those who looked like locals but consistently came to us because she knew we were out of town. We pulled our masks down to take sips and it seemed every time, she was there ready to yell at us. But didn't yell at anyone else standing around, dancing, or sitting. Also, we talked to some workers on they way out playing pool NOT wearing masks. The guy said to us, "we work here so we don't have to wear a mask while we play pool." Somehow, if you're standing you're going to get COVID, but if you're sitting, you're fine. I understand that they want to stay open, but you need to treat all guests the same. That $5 cover charge is also complete bs. Don't waste your money here.

PR's is the best bar in the area! Great bartenders! Great managers that keep the place drama free and looking good! Everyone is very friendly! I love the place you feel very welcomed! However PR's managers..One request.. Wine lol!!

PR's is pretty bad. Dead until 10:30-11:00 or so when suddenly it just gets packed. The sign out front claims "Voted Best Place to Meet Singles". Everyone must have seen that sign. Early in the night, there's some couples on the dance floor. Some are very good. Others aren't, but everyone's having a good time. Then the singles crowd rolls in. Almost every group through the door is only guys or only girls. They huddle together and ogle one of the other groups and wait until they're drunk enough to work up the nerve. Soon the country music stops, some heavy rap starts up, and the volume knob gets turned all the way up. You know when they turn it up so loud that you can't even tell what song it is anymore? It's that loud. This is when the small, dance crowd leaves and all that's left is, for lack of a better word, "bros". The country music eventually returns, but still at maximum volume. The dancing turns from line dancing and two-stepping to grinding. The bartenders are just awful. There are three girls behind the bar and two people trying to order drinks. Took several minutes to get one of them to acknowledge either one of us. When my friend went back to the bar to get another drink, they couldn't find her tab or her credit card. Keep in mind there's a crowd of maybe 15 people and they're already overwhelmed and losing credit cards. The only way to fix it was to tell the current bartender our old bartender's name. She never told us her name, so we had to wait for her to show up from wherever to get more drinks. I'm still confused as to how that even happened. The tabs were wrong at the end of the night, but looked like they were probably close to what they should be. Just thankful that the card wasn't lost. Drinks range from decently priced to overpriced. Some drinks are served in a stemmed mason jar with a flashing ice cube. I can't decide if that's cool or terrible. For as long as I can remember PR's has been notorious for rampant violence, but I haven't seen one there. Granted, they're also "world famous" for a bikini contest, but I'd never heard of it until I saw a sign on the door. It's basically a good place to go in the early evening when Billy Bob's has a high-price act coming in. I guess.

Eh... this dive of a bar gets way too loud, crowded and smokey during the evenings. I also hate country music, but I guess I should've expected as much in the Stockyards. The whole area doesn't feel safe, though. The drink specials and staff are OK, but I'd rather go somewhere else.

STOPPED A WAY, TOO, DRUNK, GIRL GETTING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY ONE OF THE BOUNCERS! Went here this past weekend and was very disappointed. Please be careful who you trust when going there. Do not rely on the "security". Not the officers, the so-called bouncers. My friends and I were standing outside and we saw this drunk girl being walked out of the back. I thought she was just being kicked out because she drank too much. HE WAS HOLDING HER UP BECAUSE OF HOW DRUNK SHE WAS. Well he kept walking into the parking lot behind this van and all of the red flags went up. My boyfriend and I followed to make sure she was ok and we caught him in his car(shiny, new, red 4-door, paper plates, Hatchback style) taking advantage of her. He is mid to late 40s, 6'7ish black male and of course I stopped him. Completely sober and supposed to do his job not take advantage of girls that can barely stand. We talked to his co-worker(5'7ish, 40s white male, bald and reddish beard) and he basically passed it off and stood up for him because he was too much of a coward to say the situation isn't right. "If you don't like how things are run around here, there's the door" were his words to the terrible things his co-worker did(both with black, PR's staff shirts, on). It isn't ok. This girl(who I had several interactions with because drunk girls) could barely stand, barely talk she was so drunk. I don't even know how hold she was because she proceeded to tell me (after I asked where her wristband was to get back in to find her friends) that she wiped the x's off of her hands AND THESE "MEN" WHO PROBABLY HAVE DAUGHTERS ARE GONNA SIT THERE AND SAY THAT IT'S OK TO DO THINGS LIKE THAT. By the looks of some other reviews, seems like there's other scumbags that run the place too. I used to go here some years ago and it's sad how downhill it's gone. Absolutely disgusting and good to know what the bouncers that work there stand for....

Received terrible service from the blonde greeter/bartender named Chelsea at the front! Chelsea did not make us feel welcomed at all and gave me and my boyfriend an incredibly rude, unnecessary, and uncalled for comment when we were only there to have a good time for my friend's birthday on Saturday, Oct. 25th. When I asked to speak to the manager, they told me that I could only contact them via cell phone. What kind of business is this? Is this how a business treats their customers? To add, the bartenders at the back weren't very welcoming to my group of friends and didn't care to ask if we wanted anything to drink and just stood there. I have the right to give this review and I wish I could've gave this place a better rating; however, I've received much better service elsewhere. Also, due to our terrible experience, every time PR's is mentioned, I will be sure that everyone knows about our awful experience due to Chelsea's rude, nosey, and unwelcoming attitude.

I wouldn't go back to this place. The bartenders are not very friendly but the thing that made me give this place one star instead of three is their water policy. My friend ordered some drinks and then asked for a water with her drink and the bartender refused to give it to her because "their policy is not to give out water to prevent homeless people from coming in and asking for water". I've been to hundreds of bars close to where homeless people roam and I've never heard of this before. You can clearly tell that when someone comes in and pays for a drink with an American Express card that they are not a homeless person. There were a lot of people two stepping but honestly if you want to do that there are plenty of bars in the area that are better than this one.

Came to the stockyards after a show for date night with my man. Came in to PRs and were immediately greeted by the front bar bartender. Unfortunately I didn't get a name. She was rude from the get go. Come time to pay out she was screaming at my boyfriend "to speak a little fucking louder!" At which point I got involved. I've been a bartender almost two decades and NEVER have I worked with or experienced such a sour sour human being behind a bar. I'm sorry for anyone trying to enjoy an evening at this bar if she's clocked in.

Went there for a birthday party last weekend and I must say that the hostess/bartender girl at the front named Chelsea made an extremely unnecessary and rude comment regarding my girlfriend "voluntarily" paying for 1st round of drinks. The age variance is quite large, drink prices are "meh," and truthfully if you want to have staff say rude things to you at least go to a gimmicky restaurant like Dicks so you can have fun being insulted. Not worth your time, next bar.

I love this bar. It is so beautiful inside. The ceiling in there gets me every time. They also serve the best food, I love their to-go fried shrimp. The best part about it is that they have a dance floor and i can shake my booty as i have a shrimp in my hand. Im 75 years old and its perfect for my old fart ass. Thanks prs! , Fred.

I kinda liked it. Very interesting people, and some semi hot guys, for texas that is. Its not as bad as portrait here. Yes the bouncers are a little scary but they are guys, its their primal instinct to be badass and a bouncer thing to chase the Vs (you know.. female huha)

So this place is okay (younger crowd) but definitely told me and my friends that once we paid a cover we could be server for 30 more minutes (before 2) and we went to the bartender and she had an attitude MAJOR and said they stopped serving "7 min ago" would have loved a refund on our cover

I liked the atmosphere, didn't drink, but my friends had no complaints in that department. Dance floor was kinda small, but it's a small venue. Music was good. Police presence was noticed.

I visited this place for the first time last night. I enjoyed it for sure. Good atmosphere, music was good, and can't forget about the dance floor. It seemed like just an environment where people just went to have a good time and enjoy themselves. I'm a out of towner, but this spot is definitely on my comeback to's!

I ordered a drink for a female friend. When she got up to dance a guy she was talking to earlier picked up her drink and walked away. I went to him and told him I bought that drink and he needed to return it to the table. He told me to fuck off. I went and told management. At first the manager was very sorry, got another drink, and thanked me for being levelheaded and not starting a fight. When I showed him who it was, he obviously knew this guy and blew off the entire situation. The Guy later came by and said "you didn't know who I am". I told him I don't know who he is and really don't care. These people are scumbags. I will never go there again.

Tee...Rash...eeee. But in a good way. Heavy cop presence, a mix of dooshface country songs and booty hip hop line dances. X handed chix secretly slamming lemon drops in the corner then getting called out by the cops that are in the bar watching them. A steady Marlboro fog, Jell-O shot girls, and more smoke. A great place to feel creepy if you're over 30. Pawrty!!!

A Chicago girl in a country bar. Yeah it happened. Wasn't sure how I felt about it. It seemed like an alright place to drink and hang out. They had a dance floor for country dancing. That was new for me. Do was the guy throwing salt on the floor. I'm assuming so nobody slips? Anyways not my thing but I was feeling adventurous and tried it. Oh the drinks were cheap but ok. They didn't have much of a variety. Like I said not my thing.

I have been to this place multiple times. It is a good time everytime, but the place is a little trashy. I like how they have a dancefloor and they have an even spread of country and top 40/rap music throughout the night. The drinks are average price. The bartenders are cute and friendly. It really picks up as far as the crowd and dancefloor goes around 11:30 or so. This is the place we go when we have under 21 friends that come along. One night I was dancing on the dancefloor with a drink in my hand and a cop pulled me off the dancefloor and told me to go outside. I was pretty confused, but then realized my armband was under my sleeve. I showed him then he said "oh ok" and he let me go. They are pretty strict here as far as underage drinking goes, obviously. On Friday's and Saturday's there is a $5/$15 cover charge. I would rather go to a nicer bar and not pay a cover.

Worst Bar I have ever been at. I was there Sunday 31 Oct 10. I had a complaint, I complained about my tab, they said that there was nothing that they could do. That the calculations were correct...I asked to see all my receipts, but the numbers did not add up. I then asked to talk to a manager. And the guy that came was totally drunk. He was unwilling to help me, then they kicked me and my wife out of the bar, and said if i were to come back they'd have me arrested. NEVER GO TO THIS BAR THEY TREAT YOU LIKE YOU ARE STUPID!! Then, when you question them, they are a. too intoxicated to answer you, and they throw you out of the bar. This happened around 0100 on 01 Nov 10

Why would anyone go here? There were 20 of us bar hopping in the stockyards and so we stopped by. The girl at the door informed us of a cover charge. I asked if they had a live band playing and was told they did not. So let's see, bars galore in stockyards with no cover and IF there was one it was because they had a live band playing. Why would you pay to go here? Looking inside there was not many people there while other bars all had good crowds. Could have sold at least 2 rounds of drinks to 20 people, instead, we went elsewhere and won't go back.

drinks are priced fair. staff is friendly. cover is fair as well. place itself is small so it gets very crowded. bathroom is the smallest I have ever seen ( not that I really care) the dance floor is very small and there a huge support for the building in front of it... REDICULOUS!

I love this place! This is the go to place for hanging out with good friends and having good times. They have a beer tub right at the front door with $2.75 beers on friday nights so you can get a cold beer right when you walk in. It has one pool table but a very active dance floor. The bartenders get drinks out quick and there are hot shot girls walking around the bar selling $1 shots. When it comes to music theres a perfect balance of country, line dancing, and hiphop. Never a dull moment when it comes to PR'S
