The restaurant has a great vibe, it's clean, welcoming, and well-designed, making it a comfortable place to hang out. The service is also pretty good, with friendly and efficient staff who keep things moving smoothly. However, the food itself is underwhelming. The burgers and fries lack the flavor and quality expected from a place that prides itself on fresh ingredients. Plus, the burger was way smaller than I thought, it was smaller than my palm. (a picture is taken) Now, I'm not sure if that's normal, but if it is, then I'm not a fan of it. If you’re looking for a chill place with good service, P. Terry’s is worth a visit, but if food quality is your priority, there are better options.

The people here are very kind. There was a 9-year-old kid ordering in front of us and I noticed his clothes were a little torn and he was paying in cash. I asked to pay for him. Turns out he's from Venezuela so I shared with him that I grew up in South America too. The kicker is that when it was my turn to order, the folks inside gave me a free milkshake and cookie just because I showed kindness. So they also showed generosity and I think this is how we make the world better. Note about the physical location: Only two park benches outside and a walk up window to order of you want to "dine in," otherwise this is drive-thru only.

Our family loves P. Terry's for their fries. We've been to this location many times. They keep burning our fries a brown color (i.e. more cancer causing carcinogens). Not just one bag of fries, but all four bags each time! This has happened 80% of the time. I have spoken to the people out front a few times, but they don't seem to change. They need to take frying lessons from the P. Terry's close to Lakeline Mall. 4 stars for their sandwiches. 2 stars for their fries at this location. So, 3 stars average. Lakeline Mall location have the 5 stars fries. Their fries are always mostly pale-colored. This location needs a better fry chef.

Google
DoorDashed this so I took it into account. I’m sure the fries would be more crispy and the shake would have been less Melty if we got it in person. With that said, I thought it was a good burger. I’d be happy coming back but would make sure to go in person next time.

This P. Terry’s location is always fast and efficient, I’ve never had an order messed up, not even once! Their food is always fresh, delicious, and exactly what I expect. Easily one of the most reliable spots in town.

Great burgers and amazing fries! My kids enjoy their shakes, especially the seasonal flavors. Always conveniently located.

Google
This location does not have inside seating so I apologize for the food picks in my vehicle. Nonetheless P Terry's never disappoints. Love their burgers fries, cookies, and my favorite surprisingly the grilled chicken burger is truly amazing. The food is fresh Everytime, service is always friendly, P Terry's is in the regular rotation among burger joints. Hard to pick a favorite but this is top 5 fast food burgers. Thank you

Yelp
Always great. Fresh hot food at a reasonable price. Breakfast sandwich is awesome, great promo. Would love to see more promotions or coupons on the app. Convenient locations too

Yelp
Was in town for the day and decided to try P. Terry's for the first time since I've seen them all around the Austin and surrounding areas. I ended up getting a few menu items. I got a Cheeseburger without lettuce and tomato for my son, a double Cheeseburger without tomatoes for me and my boyfriend to share, a side of fries and a rootbeer milkshake. The Burgers themselves was really decent could've used a bit more salt but it was busy, that's understandable. It's better to be a bit under salted than overly salty. Overall, the Cheeseburger and Double Cheeseburger was really good. The fries was actually good. It was thin cut and perfectly seasoned. The Rootbeer milkshake was the highlight of this visit. It's just a blended root beer float that's just addicting. I couldn't stop drinking it. The service was incredible and fast. The ambiance is like an old school 50s diner setting. I will be back.

Yelp
This is probably my favorite burger joint in the Cedar Park area along with Mighty Fine The bad: lines and wait times can be long The good: great fries, really good burgers and very reasonable prices. Of all the burger places, this one probably has some of the better prices. And if you want a shake, it won't cost you $10-12 like some of the fancier places. Shakes are also really good. Unfortunately no place to eat inside. It's outdoor on a few picnic tables only. If you want quality food, good proportions at a reasonable price come here.

Yelp
I've been seeing this retro eatery all through the state of Texas. If there's so many of them, it must be good, right? YES! P. Terry's was actually very impressive. It's a 50-60's style burger joint that is just cheap and delicious. The drive-thru line was outrageously long so we decided to use the walk-up window. Service was fast and efficient there. I ordered the veggie burger combo, which came with fries and a soft drink. The veggie burger had a lot of flavor - I loved the secret sauce on there, which tasted like mayo/relish/ketchup mixed together. Fries were great. Very thin cut with the skin still on them. I prefer fries without the skin but these were enjoyable. The only thing I wish this location had more of is outdoor seating. There are two picnic tables which probably seat 6 people, but it felt weird having to share a table with two other customers. Would definitely recommend P. Terry's if you need some food in a pinch! It's much better than McDonald's or Wendy's in my opinion.

Yelp
We've been to other P Terry's burger stands in the past so we know more or less what to expect. This time, however, was our first time ordering at the walk-up window. We got our usual, a couple of burgers and fries. P2 also decided to get a mint milkshake, a seasonal item they have for the winter. The food was delicious, hot, and relatively inexpensive compared to national burger chains. The prices have definitely increased due to inflation in recent years, but P Terry's is still the best value you can get burgers in town. I took off a star because of the long wait we had, about 10 min or so. I could see the line cooks working as quickly as they could, but it appears to be a smaller kitchen compared to other stands. That said, burger stand #31 is a smaller P Terry's from some of the ones you'd be able to find in Austin which will impact the speed of service. We ate outside in the picnic benches provided. It was a nice day outside and we wanted to take advantage of it. They had a bucket of ketchup packets and straws available for easy selection. Plenty of parking if you choose to order at the walk-up window. We love P Terry's and will always go back!

Yelp
I hadn't had P Terry's in many years and honestly completely forgot how good their burgers are. I would dare say their burgers are comparable to In-and-Out quality, just oh so very delicious and consistent too. I'm not the biggest fan of the fries here, but, in my opinion, they are leaps and bounds better than In-and-Out fries...(I genuinely don't get why anyone likes them there, if they were my only fry experience, I'd be convinced I hate fries) Once I finally agreed to get a burger here, I was not disappointed and I dare say, it has become one of my favorite places for a burger in the area. There is outdoor seating if you wish to eat on site but there is no indoor seating so it's either outside or drive thru.

Yelp
I'd been skeptical to try P. Terry's for the first time. Heard good things (not glowing), but every time I looked at the menu I suspected I'd be disappointed by yet another boring fast food chain. Happy to say that we finally tried them today and were glad that we did. The conclusion I've come to is that P. Terry's is the In and Out of Texas. The menu is similarly limited, and the vibe is throwback retro. My husband and I both agreed the fries are so much better than In and Out, though the same crispy thin style. We were split on the burger...both ordered a double cheeseburger. I thought it was equal or just slightly less good. My husband said he preferred In and Out's burger, but not by a wide margin. We got in line right after 11am and there was one car ahead of us, so for similar quality and price, with no lunchtime rush? I'd chose P. Terry's.

Yelp
I stopped in for breakfast. I ordered an egg burger with bacon. The bun was incredibly soft, cheese completely melted, wonderfully prepared bacon (and just the right amount too), and a moist scrambled egg. The potatoes were a mixed bag. Some had soft potato on the inside. Others had dry potato on the inside.  Because everything is made fresh, it's possible the drive home caused some of the potatoes to dry out. Service was top-notch! Major shout out for Minique and Danielle for making me know I'm a valued customer! This was my first visit to a P. Terry's.  I'm definitely coming back.

Yelp
Nice little burger joint. No inside dining but you can sit outside on picnic tables in the shade. You can also go to the drive-through and they will bring the burger to you. I got a burger, it was a little small, but it tasted good. I do like the homemade fries they were great. My daughter got a chicken burger that she enjoyed. She also got a root beer that she said was the best root beer she's ever had, I cannot speak to that. I think this is a nice little spot to get a quick burger and would come back.

Yelp
The food is always so fresh!!! the workers are so kind & accommodating!!! i will always come back to p terrys!!! best fast food burger in the 512

Yelp
We recently stopped by P Terry's in Cedar Park on the way home from a late afternoon engagement. Went through the drive-thru, as no seating was available at this location. Service was fast, food out quickly, and on our way home. The burgers were very good, and hot, even though transported home. In a bind for a good burger in the evening, highly recommend P Terry's!

Yelp
Visiting from out of state and it appeared on your website that your shakes are Gluten Free. I believe the location was Cedar Park area. I was really frustrated and quite frankly annoyed that the staff did not seem to know or understand what gluten is. The lady who took our order in the drive through seemed confused even after asking other staff. When I got to the window, I spoke to 1 lady who had no clue what I was talking about and grabbed another lady. The third person I spoke to kept saying it wasn't gluten free because it contains dairy. She kept interchanging dairy and gluten. The two are NOT the same. She too didn't know. The website says the milkshake contains dairy. That's all. It also states that measures can be taken to do prevent cross-contamination. Please train your staff. Here's the info on the website: HAND SPUN MILKSHAKES Made with real milk. Great flavors like traditional vanilla, strawberry and double chocolate along with not so traditional flavors, caramel, root beer and Oreo, round out a great meal. We also feature monthly specialty shakes from Nutella to Pumpkin Pie, for a limited time, throughout the year. Contains dairy Any special shake flavors prepared with common allergens are prepared using dedicated mixers to prevent cross-contamination.

Yelp
The service is awful and the food is worse. Fries are always extremely soggy. Burgers are never correct. Sodas are packed with ice. Any complaints are met with,"no speak English". What a JOKE? I will never again go back. I really wish I could give zero stars. One is way too many.

James M.

Yelp
First timer here. Great food, French fries were the best I've had in years. Burger was flavorful and seasoned well, chicken sandwich was thick and satisfying. Cashier was super friendly. It was nice to get outside and walk up to the window, chill ambiance.

Yelp
The burger and fries are good but seem pretty small.. I get the double but it seems smaller than I remember and probably should of gotten a triple. Save money on a drink and get a cup of water. Every single p. Terry's I have been to is a watered down nasty drink. I can't speak for their tea as I never had it but coke or dr. Pepper absolutely disgusting and one of the reasons I opt not to go or just get me the burger and grab a drink from McDonald's or somewhere else if I want a coke or dr pepper. Also this last time I went with the family after kids practice so we sat in the facilities and it was pretty disgusting. Tables were dirty floor was nasty. Another reason why I prefer in and out , hope it helps. The location was cedar park area. For this one but I drinks is true at the o e in Austin I go too .

Yelp
People rave about what a burger in Texas and I like P. Terrys so much better. Great beef flavor from grass fed angus in Texas s

Jeffrey L.

Yelp
Visited the place on a Sunday evening after 7:30. Standard order process as with all P Terry locations for the drive-thru. Quick and efficient order taking. A bit on the longer side for order fulfillment. But once at the counter, I didn't wait long after payment for the food. Since the food was brought back home, it was still nicely warm. Taste almost as good as it does when I eat at a dine-in P. Terry stand!!

Yelp
Not too shabby! Prices are good. Service was good. First time visiting here. Apparently they opened not long ago. Today my boyfriend and I sampled a few items; double cheeseburger, crispy chicken, grilled chicken, fries and lemonade. Cheeseburger meal is a decent value; the burger patty has a nice flavor to it. Double burger has a nice bun/veggie/meat ratio. Now, I like a good burger but their chicken burgers were surprisingly stealing the show. I like how both start with ground chicken. It's not a grilled or fried breast, it's an a actual burger. Christopher helped us out and he compared the fried one to a giant chicken nugget Sandwich which was pretty spot on. They were both delicious and juicy! We got them on wheat buns. Totally getting these again! Lemonade is a tad sweet but most lemonade is. Conner was also helping us out and both guys were super cool and friendly. I'll be coming back.

Yelp
The front lady who was ringing us up was so disrespectful and rude. We said one minute well we unlock our card and she looked at us and sighed. She then proceeded to slowly close the window snd smirk and didn't come back until we were staring her down. She then ringed us up and looked at us rudely. Good food rude employee

Yelp
My visit was about a month ago so I am going to chalk up the bad burger at this location as simply "working out the kinks". I expect that I will be back to give it another try later this summer. So I was super thrilled to get a P Terrys so close to my home. I gave them a couple of weeks in business before I stopped by on my way home from work. I had a very simple order and because the drive thru had a long line, I decided to place my order at the window. It was somewhat chaotic as there was food flowing out of the window for drive thru, walkins and folks who ordered ahead on the app. It was a bit confusing and I ended up getting my food before the 3 people ahead of me in line. Even though they seemed to be operating At peak capacity, somehow my fries were pretty much dead upon arrival. I only ate half. Then I unwrapped my burger as I drive home and my mouth got ready be happy- but it never did. Somehow the burger was tasteless and the bun was dried out.

John S.

Yelp
Well, clearly, P Terry's is a successful and growing Burger business and we were thrilled to have them build a new location a few blocks from where we live. This afternoon, we paid our first visit. Two cheesburgers, one order of fries, a small lemonade and a small strawberry shake. We had hoped that this would be a dine in location but never mind, it's very close to home. Everything was great, the employees, the fries, the strawberry shake and the lemonade even the burger roll and lettuce and tomatoes were great. So, why only three stars? The burger patty was cooked to death. It was like a tasteless cracker. My thirty years in the restaurant business tells me that there are only two possible reasons for this. either the grill person got too far ahead in cooking the burgers to keep up with the traffic or the grill person has the bad habit of pressing on the burger while it is cooking. Either is the kiss of death for an organization wanting to grow. Oh, I'm sure that they can do without my business and we will give it one more try but this is such an easy fix if they really want to. I hope that someone sees this and will take the steps to avoid this in the future.

Orlando G.

Yelp
The beef is Angus organic. The burgers are small but very good. You can get whole wheat buns. Happy nice service. Drive thru only bit fast. The fries are fresh cut and tasty. Get the cookie it is delighful. I am a native Texan who grew up on Whataburger which is no longer Texas owned. The taste and price is good but for me the big plus is if is all organic and made to order.

Yelp
Excited to finally have a P. Terry's in the Cedar Park area! This spot hasn't been open long (maybe a month or so), but each time I've visited it's always been busy-the word is definitely out! Drive thru has 2 lanes so you can get through it pretty quickly. Friendly employees, service has been quick, and the food has always been consistent. For the price you pay, it's a great value and the burgers taste fresh. I did try the lemonade this time, and as others have said it's a bit tart so depends on your taste buds. I wasn't a huge fan of it, but the burger and fries combo is always my go to. Double cheeseburger for under $5 that's fresh is a no brainer! My little one didn't want a burger this particular evening, but the staff went ahead and made a grilled cheese for him. It's not on the menu but you can ask for it and they'll make one. Look forward to a return visit, and hopefully they'll build another location in Leander!

Yelp
We love Pterrys, but not this stand (Cedar Park). The service person was rude, the service was slow, they all acted like I bothered them. After arriving at home, I realized that fries I bought were terribly burned - impossible to eat. The sandwiches were soggy, the buns fell apart (from pickle juice they did not drain, or other liquid, who knows). I ate only patties with my kids (because we all were hungry). Submitted feedback and received the attached email with fake promises. Never received anything. I spent over $50 on this order, and was treated like garbage. Avoid this particular stand!

Felicia P.

Yelp
Affordable and fast! Great grab and go place to go! Food was great also! Thank you for great service!

JJ F.

Yelp
Delicious Burgers & Chicken Sandwiches. Don't do fries. Staff is SO FRIENDLY & get my order RIGHT every time! Highly Recommend.

Carlos G.

Yelp
The drive thru is painfully slow. They have 1 person working both lanes. Expect to spend 30m in line.
