I went for the second time ever, only to find the place mobbed! I asked if this was a normal lunch crowd, and was told, "No! They have pledged everything from today to flood relief efforts!" I was stunned. What an awesome turnout. I was so thrilled to be a part of it even if it was by accident! Well done! This is a community minded organization. Were the lines longer than and compassionate!

Google
P. Terry's is the one place I compare to In 'n Out. Quality food that is made fresh and always has good customer service. They make their fries fresh, no frozen food like every other burger chain. Like In 'n Out, they keep their menu small and affordable, and maintain their restaurants to high standards. It's one burger joint I try to hit every time I visit Texas, it's well worth it.

Google
I've always liked P Terry's.. there was an issue with our food one time my team and I ordered.. we called and the manager took care of it immediately! Eat your fries right away! Thank me later..

I’m giving these people the praise they deserve. I’ve got a few allergies that make eating at a burger stand challenging. The staff listened and answered all my questions and then made sure to let the cooks know about my allergies. I appreciated their help and attitude. Everyone in our group enjoyed the food and we will definitely be back again!

Google
It was my first time trying this place. I live in Dallas/Fw and see it every time I travel to Austin. The burger was good, not great not phenomenal but not bad. It’s just a good burger, nothing fancy no frills. I would eat here again if it was convenient.

Google
Delish food! First time eating here and already so much better than a lot of the burger joints around. Chicken burgers and bites are super tasty! Fries are delish and tea was fresh! Yummy!!! 😋 Update: The cheeseburgers are so good!! I got mayo and mustard on mine with a side of special sauce and I was in burger heaven!!! 😇🕊️

2nd time to P Terrys.. and this one you can sit inside!! This place should be more popular!!

Google
Been really enjoying this specific P. Terry’s lately. I’ve done drive-thru three times and dined in once. Their 100% all-natural, never-frozen Black Angus beef double cheeseburgers with special sauce have been solid for the price, though the cheese could be better. The fries have been excellent, and the vanilla and double chocolate shakes have been good too. Not a fan of the chicken bites though. Every visit, the food has been fresh, and the service has been great. I’ve never been a huge P. Terry’s fan, but this spot is changing my mind. Buddy’s is still #1 for taste, price, fries, and shakes, but on days I don’t feel like making the drive, P. Terry’s hasn’t disappointed me yet. Also, I haven't had it at this location, but the seasonal hatch chili burger has always been fire!

Yelp
Pterrys is the only fast food I've had in years! We try to be mindful about what we eat but sometimes something quick, cheap & delicious is what's needed after a log day or during a road trip! That's where pterrys comes in! The veggie burger is delicious, I add grilled onions and jalapeños to mine and always order the special sauce! We don't always get fries but they are really good however this time the came a tad big greasy which isn't normal for them! They have chicken, beef and veggie Pattie's making it good for almost everyone- Ive heard the veggie burger has cheese leaving nothin on the list for my vegan friends unfortunately. However I would check with the restaurant to verify that. The location in pflugerville is always clean and quick when ordering, staff is kind and attentive MOST of the time. I love the natural approach they take as far as quality goes.

Yelp
We are back again, per my son's request. He loves a good egg sandwich and P.Terry's knows what they're doing! The fries a bit on the crispier side today which we aren't too fond of but they'll still be eaten!
google avatar

Yelp
ONCE AGAIN I came here and the SAME GUY took my order AND HE GOT IT WRONG!!!! I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a lettuce wrap no Swiss cheese add American Cheese. I WILL NOT be returning here. Almost every order I have placed recently has been wrong

Yelp
Not sure why this P. Terry's has such bad reviews bc our experience was great! We dined inside at around 1pm on a Friday with no wait. The cashiers were very friendly and greeted us on arrival. This location also has a sand pit outside if you're into that. I haven't had P. Terry's in a couple years since college and it is just as good if not better than I remember. Double cheeseburger as always and you HAVE to get it all the way with pickles and grilled onions. Honestly best burger ever, better than In N Out and Whataburger. The fresh lettuce and tomato makes the burger feel healthier haha, the cheddar cheese is so melty, the meat so juicy and not fatty, and the bread so fluffy but holds the sauce and juices together. Ppl are pretty divided on the fries; I think they're good, it tastes straight from the potato lol. I like that they're not salty so you can season them to your liking. I didn't get the shakes this time but they are also solid. They also have unique offerings like banana bread. 10/10!

Yelp
Of course it is the best burger joint in ATX. Consistent experience across all locations. This is location in Pflugerville was no different. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Good solid burger, great fries... wonderful cookies! Amazing shakes.... Pretty darn good customer service! What more could you ask from a value priced burger stand?
google avatar

Yelp
P Terrys is the Austin burger spot! Everytime I am in town, I MUST visit! I love their fries. Service is great and food is delicious. I love the interior design as well. Wish P Terrys expanded to other states!!
google avatar

Michelle W.

Yelp
Still a reliable spot for burgers and chicken sammys. Actually it's all good even the veggie burger! I brought my hunger and P Terry cured it with their crispy chicken sandwich with cheese and fries. We ate the entire bag of fries before we got home. The chicken patty on the sandwich was crispy. Yum! My little one wasn't hungry, but she was when she saw my chicken sandwich. We both enjoyed it. Love that it's consistently good. Thank you!

Yelp
I am giving one star for a consistently POOR SERVICE at this particular location. I would not come here if not for my son who likes cheeseburgers and fries. It has been multiple times for the last six months when I get my food at DT and people working there DO NOT greet, thank or say anything to you, just stupidly staring. Today was the same shitty scenario, where I myself said thank you and have a nice day to the young girl behind the window. I mean I am not talking about making a speech in English I am simply asking for basic communication with a customer. Last time she could not understand what I was trying to say to her and she was mad about it. Yes, they ( management) need to train / teach or whatever they need to do with their frontline employees.

Yelp
The location near UT is fabulous! Food is always HOT and bread is always SOFT! Whoever is doing the cooking there knows what there doing!

Yelp
Ordered thru drive thru. Good food. Good service. I was nervous sitting in the line waiting for food as I decided to look up reviews after I ordered. Saw a few negatives but we experienced none of them. I picked up at around 6 pm on a Wednesday night. Will return the next time we want fast food burgers.

Jed Y.

Yelp
Great satisfying breakfast sandwich. Service is Top Notch. Atmosphere is Friendly. Y'all Rock!
google avatar

Trish B.

Yelp
Fresh burgers and fries, simple and good. Local ingredients, better choice than the national chains.

Karen H.

Yelp
We usually use the drive-through for fast food and can say that this is one at the top of my list, as the staff has always gotten the order exactly right. The staff is courteous, polite and friendly.
google avatar

Lyla A.

Yelp
Terrible for the 2nd time (this location). The first time I thought - they're busy. It's ok. This time they were not. We ordered curbside and waited 10 mins past our 8 min wait. Finally went inside and the food was just sitting there. They were not busy. The burgers were ice cold and buns were mealy. One of our burgers was just wrong and of course the fries were ice cold from sitting there. I tried to complain on their website, but it said to contact the location. When I contact location, it just rings and rings, and nobody answers. What a waste.
google avatar

Angie F.

Yelp
The service was fast and friendly. The food was so delicious. Got a #2 with bacon and fries with a lemonade to drink. It hit the spot every time. The restaurant was clean and plenty of seating.
google avatar

Pete O.

Yelp
Food is ok, fairly priced but service is terrible. Don't do drive thru, unless you have 30 minutes. Burgers are fairly small, fries are good and cookies are really good.
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
I have only driven through and picked up food and I've never been inside. However, the burgers and fries are both fantastic as are the chicken sandwiches.
google avatar

Steve W.

Yelp
I have frequented other P Terry's locations, but this is my first time at this one which was built in 2021. The double cheeseburger combo is a great deal for under $10. Normally I get the order to go, but at this location, I decided to dine in. They have some good shakes, but one thing that they don't have is onion rings. From what I was told from another location was that onion rings require a fryer of their very own. They do have clean bathrooms, but they are unisex. Good price for good grub keeps me coming back.
google avatar

Mel B.

Yelp
This place is always spot on. The burgers are always good, and those fries are magical! I just went through the drive-through during busy lunchtime, and I was in and out in less than eight minutes. I have never had a negative experience at this location, both for food and service.
google avatar

Netta K.

Yelp
It's hard for me to really review a drive thru experience but here we go! 1230 on a Sunday I was expecting a crazy line but it was relatively short and fast! They had both lines open with a speaker on one and a person taking your order personally on the other. Both lines went equally fast. They have a patty melt, not sure if it is a special or limited time but I would highly suggest you get it! Even if you aren't an onion fan, I DO NOT LIKE onions, and I will get this again! Loved it!!! The fries aren't my jam, but my husband digs these kind of fries.. meh. I got lemonade because they don't have sweet tea (we are in Texas not California! C'mon man!) and I don't drink soda. Next time, I'll just get water, the lemonade was not good, not a powder but still not good. The dinning room is open, which I wasn't aware of or we would have gone in. Unfortunately, not knowing it was open, I wore pajama pants and basketball slides... not appropriate for indoor dining. Summary, no sweet tea, patty melt, lemonade

Yelp
Had a chance to check this place out after driving by wondering if it was a Jetson's experience from the look of the sign. The burgers are fresh made and the fries are from fresh potatoes so that a a plus. The star of the show was actually the crisp iceberg lettuce and tomato on the burger. This is the first place where the lettuce did not appear out of a bag, it really made a difference in the burger. They also have handmade shakes and banana bread! The staff is masked and gloved with sanitizer provided. The open space inside allows for distancing which makes it comfortable. After you place your order you find a seat until your order is up which eliminates everyone crowded around the counter waiting. It was a great burger experience so if traveling through the Austin area stop by and give them a try.

Yelp
P.Terry's is officially open. They must've been practicing because both lanes of the drive through moved quickly and efficiently. Very friendly and polite crew that is still learning. I had to laugh when asked if I wanted chicken with my chicken sandwich. He meant to ask if I wanted cheese. My order was correct and I definitely appreciate that they bring out your drinks in a container so I can easily pick it up. Minimum employee handling. I stopped by this evening and everything was on point again. Service and drive through went smoothly as anticipated. The spicy crispy chicken sandwich is a must try.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Looks brand new. Limited menu: burgers, potato fries, gingerbread shake sounds interesting, banana bread does too. Didn't try either. Ice tea was good with fresh lemons. No little trash can at drink set up area. They were busy with lots of drive thru and people dining in. Tables needed tending- the old days of "Covid cleaning " are gone. One bathroom was out of order and the other bathroom was out of toilet paper. If you want meat on your burger, better get the double meat. These are no quarter pounders.
google avatar

Brett F.

Yelp
Customer service is absolutely horrible here and the fact they don't have Sweet Tea makes me want to gouge my eyes out with razor blades. Kinda thinking I'll never eat here again.
google avatar

Yelp
Came back for more cookies last week, since the kiddos were asking for some, and I was upset to see that they are still selling cookies with a past due "best by" date. Before ordering the cookies, I asked the sales associate if the cookies were fresh, and he stated "yes, they were brought in today." So I was happy, but still skeptical. So, when I received my order I checked the wrapping each cookie, and saw that they had a "best by date" that had already past. I gave them back to the sales associate, who clearly was not aware of the current date, and searched the black bins deep down for some "fresher" dates. I believe that at this point it's a management issue, and a training gap. Not sure if all P Terry's are like this one, but I'll have to stop buying them. It makes me wonder about other potential areas of non-compliance. Not worth taking the risk.

Samantha S.

Yelp
Slow drive thru service, food was fresh, good tasty burgers, place looked clean and organized.
google avatar

Nathan L.

Yelp
Honestly not sure why it has such low rating... great quality and reliable. Maybe the rating is low to keep people away to reduce wait time. Thank you for such great service and business!

Cody M.

Yelp
I had a basic burger and fries. It was good, nothing too special about the "special" sauce; tasted like mayo to me. The fries were excellent, even after the ride home. The shake was the best part by far! The Mexican vanilla shake had a strong vanilla taste that I loved. Thin enough to get through the straw easily but thick enough to not be runny. I had an Arnold Palmer to drink, definitely not the best I've had but not bad.

Steve C.

Yelp
Really disappointed. First time at a P Terry's. Burger over cooked and crumbling. Not much of a burger given how thin it was. Fries were just okay.
google avatar

Henry L.

Yelp
We usually hit up this location at least once a month, and so far the food has been pretty good and consistent. The standard double cheeseburger will hit the spot any day of the week, and their crispy chicken burger is surprisingly delicious with a great texture. Shakes are good as usual and their breakfast is a hit. The staff is always super nice and the speed through the drive-thru is quick. We dined in for the first time and the restaurant during lunchtime was pretty empty and the patio section was nice. Hand sanitizer also provided right at the entrance. My only complaint is that we usually order the fries extra crispy, but they're usually no where near as crispy as the ones we had at other locations.
google avatar

Alyissia S.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time today and I have to say it's a cute place. Food is simple but a lot of options for multiple diets. (I.e lettuce wrap, lettuce boats...) I chose the crispy chicken sandwich with fries and my husband chose a lettuce cheeseburger. My chicken was crisp and juicy and my fries were amazing!!! Crisp and soft but sturdy when picked up. The cheeseburger was average. I also got lemonade I do not suggest it. It tastes like the lemon rind , I tried to add sugar but it did not help. If you see one and have time spot in and try it out!! Did I mention the have the good ice lol
google avatar

Allyson B.

Yelp
Better than Whataburger, and the strawberry lemonade is a must order! We tend to order the fries well done. Super fast and good food.

Nathan G.

Yelp
Decent food, but there are serious shortfalls to those dining in. First, the dining room is always freezing. There's clearly an issue with the HVAC controls but they have not gotten around to fixing over the past two years. Next issue is the employees taking orders. They aren't very friendly or verbal (basic stuff like saying hello - I'm ready to take your order). Lastly, the Dining area is gross. Trash all over. Every table was dirty or wet. This is very typical at this location.

John J.

Yelp
Management, please train your employees better. They are driving this location into the ground. It seems like the cooks are too stoned to read the orders because the person taking the order has it right and it's on the receipt but the paid add in's like Jalapeno and bacon are consistently omitted from orders. It was so great when this place first opened, please get back to that before it's too late and you have to close.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Went for lunch today. As some have mentioned the drive up window was a little slow but the staff was very friendly and could not have been nicer. This is my first time trying this chain. The burger was pretty average. Probably better than the big 3 names. The fries were very good and fresh and a lot of them. It was a good value for your money in my opinion. I still prefer the chain that starts with a F as my favorite in Texas.
google avatar

Jairo A.

Yelp
Breakfast is what i come here for they always get my order out fast & tasting delicious, those ladies in the morning deserve all the praise, The Spicy egg burger w/ sausage is amazing not to mention the orange juice is refreshing i'll always come back for this unbeatable combo

Captain C.

Yelp
Peterry's used to be our weekly, if not daily, burger joint, when cooking for five kids was just too much, but things have just gotten worse and worse. They finally seem to, sometimes, be capable of getting the order right, as long as you don't mind a little "extra" in your food. ‍ I thought hair nets were mandatory, which should prevent this from happening, unless there's some "other" wiry black hair being exposed in the cooking areas. WTF?! Oh, and they've removed the phone number you could simply text to (replaced it with somebody else's third-party website that requires you to jump for 20 hoops) to give them some feedback. We'll screw that. Here's my feedback.
google avatar

Laura K.

Yelp
Friendly & efficient staff, great food, the drive thru was comparable to chick fil a, just a tad slower. Staff did a good job with a last minute change to our order. I personally like In n Out's burgers more (which makes me sad to say bc I'm a TX girl forever ) because I prefer the sweet over the slightly peppered taste, but that's just personal preference. P Terry's fries are better Only note would be that we forgot to ask about fry sauce/condiments, would've been nice to have been asked if we wanted any I'm sure we'll be back, positive first impression during their first week open, which I think is impressive. Thanks!

Danielle J.

Yelp
I love p.terrys . Their food is always fresh . I have never ordered a burger and fries and had the quality be anything but amazing. The service is fast the staff is nice and everything is so yummy.
google avatar

Felicia L.

Yelp
I don't mind the burgers here but what I do mind is none of the employees have any personality they all seem like they hate life and that's very sad especially here in Texas! I absolutely love greeting them and smiling snd I get nothing from there here. I have been about four times and each time my fries have been cold or not fully cooked but didn't notice till I got home...and wasn't worth the call.

Kenneth C.

Yelp
Very tasty and quick to receive your order. The place is also very clean and the cashiers are very polite.

Kay K.

Yelp
My daughter and I stopped by this location on our way home after a day of shopping. This was my first time eating at P Terrys. I've always wanted to eat there bc had heard it was really good. We both got the #2 combo. My daughter wanted a shake in place of the drink that came with the combo, and the cashier would not substitute , so she had to get both the drink and pay extra for the shake. Ridiculous. Overall the food was just bad. The fries were greasy, the cheeseburger itself was bland. The fountain drinks (I got coke) was mostly the carbonated water. Not sure if it was just a bad experience at an otherwise good restaurant, or not but I won't be back. In & out is so much better!
google avatar

Cody A.

Yelp
Had many pterrys burgers in the past but this location failed to deliver. We ordered chicken sandwiches and they charged us for "crispy" but the menu doesn't say that. Water is .15 too. Real value there. The fries were inedible. The birthday cake shake should come with sprinkles but the cashier did not advise they were out. They were out of ice and our milkshakes came in paper cups that deteriorated badly outside. The manager was nice and refunded our order but honestly it was sad it had to come to that. Quality needs increase here. The buns tasted dried out like a heat lamp or they'd been left out on the counter.
google avatar

William Z.

Yelp
Stopped in Monday after gassing up at Costco and ordered two cheeseburgers. The burgers tasted and looked like they had been on a warmer for hours. Also the hamburger patty (single) was the thinnest patty I had ever been served. It has to be the worst burger in Central Texas. My experience at other P.Terrys have been much better !

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Don't do it. Cold ass burger. Cheese didn't melt. Sent back because the bun was still cold like it just came out of the freezer. This is what it looked like after they "remade" it. Also. It is super dirty inside. It wasnt just a one day thing. There's trash all over the floor. It is definitely not up to p terry standards in taste or anything.
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
I've had two visits where we ordered shakes after our meals. During both of those visits, and after waiting 10-15 minutes each time, I've gone to the counter to check the status of the shakes. Come to find out the shakes had been sitting by the shake machine, unannounced they were ready. The inside of the restaurant during our last three visits has been filthy. Chairs scattered. Napkins on the floor. Food on the floor. Condiments section is a disaster. The eating area is not monitored. The burgers have always been room temperature, even when eating in the restaurant. When you walk in without a mask, and you're then asked to put on a mask, it's wisest to ensure your staff, particularly the one telling you they require masks to have their mask on fully (opposed to the nose-out mask style). And, better yet, the individual cutting the fries in the back should have their mask on (opposed to the under-the-chin style). I'm only one customer, but given all of the above, I can't say I'd recommend this place. Nor, will I be back.

Keneth A.

Yelp
Just left there with my order, arrived back at work, now the bad news. I ordered a double cheese burger meal. I sat down to eat and it was a single burger. No time to return it so I started in on it. On my third bite, something stabbed the roof of my mouth. Yes, a pointy piece of plastic. No injury but come on. Really. I'll never return to the Pflugerville location or any location again.

Yelp
Was in the mood for an adventure and a chesse burger drove an hour and a half to eat some scrumptious P. Terry's Burgers amazing staff very understanding I didn't want fries until I got my eye's on my husband's I stole his fries with no remorse he had to order himself another of course definitely a motorcycle trip ill be doing again
