Where To Eat Dinner After Work On The Eastside

"After work, sometimes something inside of you snaps. You need wine immediately. In that one strip mall in Woodinville with all of the tasting rooms (where the weekend version of you will return), you’ll find The Commons. They have a full menu of classy comfort food like pickle-brined fried chicken and caprese poutine, craft cocktails, an espresso bar, and a bakery. Use The Commons for a team outing/group therapy session with your friends who work in the area." - aimee rizzo

Food: Starters- $13, Braised Pork Taquitos. Crunchy, savory, delicious. Came with 4 taquitos. Great blend of flavors. Almost did not want to split this with my quest, it was too good. Everything tasted so fresh. Entrée- $17? Chilaquiles with beef birria, red sauce. *chef's kiss* This was exquisite, the chips had the right consistency, the sauce was saucing, and the spices were spicy. I would recommend this as a good brunch item. I would rate the spiciness as mid, not over powering but not lacking. Can not recall other entrée. Drinks-I can not recall the names of the two drinks we ordered. One was like a mezcal bloody Mary, super spicy, Smokey and the other was a Mexican coffee with rum. The Mexican coffee was good and we would recommend. They were both unique drinks but the coffee was the one we would recommend. Service: Servers had great personality and were friendly and eager to help. The issue we had was the long wait times to see the server excluding the wait time for food to arrive for an almost empty restaurant. We spent a lot of time waiting to see the server after we were sat, waiting for her to arrive to take our order, ect. It was excessively long and noticeable especially with only 4 or 5 other tables occupied out of the rest of the restaurant for brunch. Atmosphere: Décor was pleasant with notable areas to admire including the hardwood floors and the art work/décor on the wall next to the bar. Color palate was calm and cohesive with the tile on the bar and the types of wood accents throughout the restaurant. I would want to come back and see the place at night with table top candles. I can imagine it would be a very romantic date spot. Indoor plants need a little attention or swap out. tables and seating are close together. The runner and the waitress were extremely warm and friendly and looked happy to be there. Parking: Brunch had an almost empty parking lot, however the surrounding area is a popular wine destination and I can see parking becoming an issue during peak wine times. Verdict: Elevated Mexican food and cocktails. I would come again but I would want to try coming during dinner time. Split decision on whether the bill of $100 for two was justified. SOMETHING I THOUGHT WAS REALLY ODD: If you use a card to pay, it doesn't allow you to tip less than 20% or bypass tip if your doing a cash tip.

Good atmosphere and busy on a Thursday early evening. Took my friend here for dinner as a thank you. We shared guacamole (bland) and street corn (delicious). My friend had the tacos al pastor which she loved. I had the pork carnitas with corn tacos which was tasty. Service was flexible but hurried (the entrees arrived while we were enjoying the appetizers). Finished with a very rich but yummy dulce de leches flan.

Google
Bomb nachos we opted to add chicken. Also their enchiladas is great too. Steaming hot and the sauce is so delicious. Sadly their tacos are just ok and way overpriced. Would really only come back for nachos and enchiladas.

Came here a few days ago and was surprised at just how good the tacos were. Grabbed a bunch of happy hour dishes. Staff were all incredibly friendly, food came out very fast. We sat outside and while traffic could be loud at times it was still a great location to eat.

Google
Great place, great service, great food. Sneaky way of adding extras? Not so good. And it’s almost like a free substitution. Examples - sub tortilla soup instead of the beans n rice? We thought we could get this instead of that but NO! Didn’t tell us that was $5 extra. Lemonade- mango flavor $1 extra Lemonade- strawberry flavor $1extra Taco Duo - steak was an option. Why $2 more? Best for last : Nachos: $12 extra for the paltry side of meat? Really?! Why didn’t you say so before we ordered? Annoying. But once again - food, service and atmosphere were all great. I don’t like not knowing I’m being charged ridiculous amounts extra. Tell me when I order. I’ll make the decision if I want to pay for it or not.

I have eaten here several times and it hasn't disappointed yet. Elevated, but not pretentious Mexican food. I haven't had a bad dish yet, from the tacos (yes, the vegetarian options are delicious too) to the soups and plates. They have some great mixed drinks, along with a great Margarita. My last visit happened to be during happy hour, so I was pleasantly surprised by some specials on the HH menu. It can get busy at times, being in the heart of Woodinville wine district, but very worthwhile.

Google
We visited as a group of seven and ordered a variety of tacos. The fried chicken taco was unexpectedly sweet, not typical of Mexican cuisine. The crab and shrimp cake taco was decent. The nachos and margaritas were enjoyable. The ambience and service were excellent, but I wish the tacos were more authentic and flavorful.

Google
Great option for brunch or dinner. Their ceviche is really tasty and big enough to share. I personally love their chopped salad and chicken tacos! Burrito bowl is also one of my fav. Yum.

Yelp
My wife and I went to the Woodinville location of Pablo Y Pablo for the beach party special day which had $5 margaritas and a free taco bar! Plus, there was a raffle for a hotel stay and a restaurant gift card. We came within a couple numbers of winning the prize! The drinks were decent but nothing spectacular and we were the only ones dressed for the occasion (Summer wear). I loved the food and the efforts made by the wonderful staff at this Beach Party. The first drink was free and I had the Paloma which ended up being my fave. I also had the Classic Marg and the Blood Orange Marg. The best part was the taco bar which had a meatball with a sauce, Taquitos, Elote Corn on the cob, and fresh corn tortillas with a nice beef and veggie filling options. They also had cilantro, green salsa, etc to top off the tacos. I enjoyed the food greatly and the beach party was a fun way to spend a lazy Saturday afternoon with a bunch of snow on the ground. Thanks Pablo Y Pablo for hosting a beach party on the snowiest day of Winter!

Yelp
The horchata and the desserts were good. Happy with both of those. The service was very good. Pleasant and friendly servers who seemed to show up at all the right times. The ambiance is great for catching up with friends. But the dishes and appetizers. Meh at best. The Al Pastor I'm pretty sure was sous vide and never touched a hot surface. The fat hadn't rendered. There was no crispiness and it was luke warm. They serve it in a skillet but THAT skillet was never used. Who knows, maybe the meat was cooked hours earlier and sat in a wet warming tray before I got it. Either way you look at it, it's bad news. The elote was not good corn. Definitely cooked off site and been sitting in the freezer for a long time and then boiled. Probably sous vide too tbh. The sauce was bland and watery. Really disappointing. Everyone at the table kept trading dishes with each other hoping to find something they liked. No dice. Writing this review made me realize my initial 3 star review was too high

Yelp
Mexican food in Seattle and the surrounding areas is never that great, so I avoid Mexican restaurants here unless they're Tex-Mex or fusion. The food here is mediocre and I had to salt my mole brisket dish. It was too sweet and needed more salt to round out the flavor. The pork belly taco was good and the drinks were good. The service was what it should be: great! The ambiance was fun! Not a bad experience but don't expect anything amazing.

Yelp
Vegan options were good! Loved their Seattle restaurant week vegan tacos and vegan chocolate mousse. Nachos were very mid. Service was friendly. Restaurant was very crowded, long wait times. We sat at the bar and we were lucky to even get that. Overall, I would love to come back and try other vegan dishes.

Yelp
Great taco and service was very fast then expected. Horchata was little on sweet side and I was concerned that every 10 mins server was coming to check on us even though when restaurant was empty may they wanted us to move out quick which I don't know why . Ambiance was nice and lively. Parking is a concern so might struggle to find a good parking

Yelp
Tiny portions for crazy prices I didn't get a picture of my sister's order but it was an expensive ceaser with $9 extra for prawns... it had 4 prawns plopped on top of a tiny salad. I don't know how else to put it but the vegan tacos were not good. We all shared the classic nachos as an appetizer which was very yummy. I came here with my sister, brother and his girlfriend. We live up the road so have been wanting to try this place out and we're ready for some boujee tacos. We are all around 18-21, it felt like they completely gave up on good service for us. The tables around us received their meals faster and were checked up more frequently. We ended up spending over $150 yet the service was nowhere near worth the price, it left a sour taste in my mouth. We also had to leave our table multiple times to ask for water. There were lots of servers so it was very frustrating. I have worked in the service industry and this shouldn't be acceptable. Don't waste your time and go somewhere with better food, service, and location. I'd recommend cactus or agua verde.

Yelp
This place has got a nice vibe, drinks and service. We went around 4ish on a Sunday evening and got quickly seated. There was a large group can dining near where we were seated. The service was quick. Do not expect a typical Mexican restaurant portions in here. The food was a bit on the pricier side for the quantity. The fish bowl we ordered had a strong odor and the chicken tacos were pretty bland. We requested for a side of the green hot sauce and it was super yumm! Glad we did! We would come back for the drinks and the ambience and maybe limit our order to just the apps for food!

Yelp
Visited this gorgeous Pablo y Pablo location for happy hour recently and had a great experience! We pretty much had the place to ourselves, so the bartender was all eyes on us and the food came out quickly. Always a bonus. Their happy hour deals are pretty good. HH is Tues-Thurs 4-5pm, and then Friday 3-5pm. They have a good selection of $10 cocktails and beer & wine $10 and under. The sangria was pretty good, and strong (just the way I like it!) As for HH food, they have a ton of options. Lots of hearty, savory "snacks" like nachos, quesadillas, taquitos, etc. They have a great HH taco menu and all of them are $6 or under. I went with the braised brisket taco and the baja fish taco. Both were absolutely delicious but the baja fish stole the show for me. Possibly the best fish taco I've ever had. LOVED the sauce on it, and the fish was cooked so perfectly! If you're looking for something in the winery district but not really wanting wine... Pablo y Pablo is a solid choice! Definitely will return.

Yelp
Visited this establishment for the first time during Seattle Restaurant Week. Their located in Hollywood Vineyards with shared parking with other restaurants. Casual, family friendly place. They're located by the round about so if you're facing outside, you can easily people/traffic watch. Not your typical Mexican restaurant where dishes are served with rice and beans. We ordered from their Seattle Restaurant Week menu -- 3 course meal for $35 Starters: I had the Shrimp tostada - mango salsa, poblano peppers, jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, coconut, hot sauce, avocado crema. Fresh ingredients, but a bit on the bland side for me. My companion had the Carnitas spareribs - chilies, pepitas, sesame seed, habanero honey. WOW! Ok, so maybe I thought the Shrimp tostada was bland because I had a taste of this. At every bite, this dish is so flavorful! Just the right amount of heat to entice you to have some more. We were told that this is a special dish for SRW, so don't expect this to be on their regular menu. Although we were told that this dish show up occasionally. So, we are hopeful. Entrees: I had the Chicken Tamale - creamy tomatillo salsa, radish, red onions, cotija, crema, cilantro. I'm a sucker for a good tamale! The chicken-tamale ratio is good (just the right amount of tamale). Flavorful and had a nice heat to it. My companion had the Green chile pork enchilada - smoky red chile salsa, oaxaca and jack cheese, queso fresco, cilantro, sour cream, radish, serrano. Another delicious dish! This dish had a sweet taste (compared to my slightly spicy tamale) and both our entrees complemented each other. Dessert: I had the Churro bites with xocalatl chocolate. The churro itself is bland (Costco churro has more taste), but dipped in the xocalatl chocolate, it was yummy! My companion had the Chocolate tamale - vanilla ice cream, coronado caramel, sea salt. Not your typical dessert yet it was delicious. I would order this again over the Churro bites. Both dessert weren't too sweet which we liked. My companion had the Cadillac Margarita, but had it double - campo bravo reposado, grand marnier, lime, salt rim $23 (for double); $16 (regular). Service was good. Our server was friendly. Will definitely come back to try the other dishes on the menu.

Yelp
Good service and food but for a MX restaurant you have to order salsa and chips and if you order guacamole and chips you also have to pay extra for salsa! Kind of strange as I am used to salsa and chips complimentary. Guacamole and chips $12.00 also $4.95 For salsa!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday morning after riding our bikes from Redmond. They were able to seat us fairly quickly and our server was friendly and checked in on us periodically. I ordered a veggie scramble/omelette with potatoes and it came with a few warmed tortillas, which was nice. The potatoes were perfectly crisp on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside - light on the seasoning so I did add some salt, which I normally wouldn't have to with potatoes. The omelette was less seasoned than the potatoes and was the reason I asked for a salt shaker at the table. It had a generous amount of veggies but it probably made the lack of salt even more noticeable. Not bad overall, though! We also ordered some chips and salsa. Our server brought us warm tortilla chips right before we ran out of our first bowl, which was nice. The salsa verde was incredible! A little spice and it had a really refreshing quality to it! Overall we had a nice time. Not our first time riding our bikes and coming in for brunch, and definitely won't be our last!

Yelp
Our experience at this restaurant was beyond frustrating. My husband and I arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, only to find their parking lot completely full. We spent 30 minutes driving around looking for a spot. When we finally got to the restaurant, we were told our reservation had "expired" and were asked to wait another 10 minutes, despite several empty tables being available. After waiting, we were offered a table but were told we'd have to leave in 45 minutes to accommodate another reservation. This was completely unreasonable, and when we declined, the receptionist had the nerve to blame us for not calling ahead to say we'd be late - even though it was their parking situation that delayed us! The entire experience was handled poorly, and the staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. It's clear they don't value their customers. We left without eating and won't be coming back. If you're looking for a stress-free and welcoming dining experience, I suggest you go elsewhere!

Yelp
Nice Mexican restaurant in wine country. We started with the chips salsa and guac which was super good. You do pay for chips and salsa regardless. My friend got the chicken tortilla soup and liked that. I got the fish taco which the flavor of the fish was very bland, as was the rice and beans. The pork taco was delicious. I think I'd try some other tacos next time. The service was great but the prices are a bit high.

Yelp
For how crowded this place was on Saturday night, you'd think it was the bees knees. Ambiance isn't anything particularly unique, as I've visited this location when it was something else and it still looks the same. The place was jammed pack, and luckily were able to grab two seats at the bar without waiting long. Started things off with the vegan nachos, which were nothing special and I don't particularly recommend. My entree was 2x carne asada and 2x baja fish tacos. They're a Seattle 4/5, but an Arizona 3/5. However, I knocked them down another peg for how steep the price is for just tacos, beans, and rice. It was fun to experience, but the price doesn't really justify the food or experience. Maybe my taste buds haven't yet adjusted from living in AZ?

Yelp
Every time I go here the service and the food both get WORSE! On my last visit, we were sat at a table that had a strong urine smell that was so bad that we had to ask to move. Our waitress barely checked on us and it took us hours to get through our meal because of it. We decided to do the Taco Tuesday meal and it ended up being a hot mess. The waitress was super confused throughout our order and had no idea which items were gluten or dairy free and seemed too flustered to check. This has been a consistent experience for me- the servers most often do not know what allergens the food contains and I have has many issues with them bringing the food out without checking with the chef. Several of my friends have gotten sick here because of it. It took 40 minutes between us ordering our margaritas and getting them. On a Tuesday! And it was not crowded. We also got guacamole, which was about half jalepeno and too spicy for most of our group to eat. Then, the server brought out nachos, even though we specified that we wanted vegan nachos and that we had several dairy allergies. This set us back another 30 minutes. AND they ended up charging us for both the normal and vegan nachos which took forever for them to correct on the bill. The way they brought out our tacos was chaotic. They just had random tacos on random plates and we ended up having to swap out tacos and move things to different plates to make it all correct. I feel like the waitress didn't pay any attention to who ordered what. We were super disappointed and felt like the food was super average. Really spicy and not well seasoned. I liked it when it first opened, but every time I go back it gets worse and worse. I don't think I'll return after this visit.

Yelp
This review is for the blood orange margarita - my goodness this is heaven in a glass! Make sure there is tajin in the rim - oh and if they ask if you want a single or a double get a double ... you will thank me later!
google avatar

Yelp
They were nice enough to offer a re-do for us at a later date. That means a lot because a lot of businesses don't seem to care anymore.

Yelp
Have been a bunch and each time did not disappoint. Brunch and Lunch were on point and the cocktails are great. Cool atmosphere as well!

Yelp
What can I say? The food is just delicious! Got the pork taquitos, Mexican corn and the Birria quesadillas with that amazing dip! I drank the Spiked Mexican Hot Chocolate as the finishing touch and everything was pretty damn delectable! That Mexican corn has this sauce on it that makes you almost eat your own fingers licking that sauce off. The pork taquitos have a nice little kick of spice at the end and those birria quesadillas have such a rich taste when you dip them you just devour that tender meat in mouthfuls of mmm mmm's! The service is great! The host was a real nice Jason Momoa looking fella and our hostess was this sweet young girl who took our order as quick as they served it! The place is nice inside and warm for being cold outside. I really like the decor and for some reason I like the worded wall behind the bar. Nice touch! All in all nice place and great food!

Yelp
My best friend, her husband, my husband, and I came here for dinner. We had a reservation so we got sat right away. They have outside seating which we liked. Our server came over and took our drink order. It took about 15 minutes for him to come back with them. We ordered the Baja fish bowl, the 2 taco deal, and then our husbands ordered the chicken enchiladas, one with green sauce and one with the red sauce. The portions were pretty small. The chicken enchiladas came out with a very small amount of chicken and a very large amount of cheese. My husband pushed half of the cheese to the side as there was just so much. The Baja bowl was very small and was bland tasting. My friend said her tacos were ok but nothing special. The tacos and Baja bowls came out first and the enchiladas didn't come out for another 10 minutes. Over all, I thought this place was just ok. The service was really slow, the food was mediocre, and the prices were kind of high for what you get. We won't go out of our way to come here again.

Yelp
3.5 stars for the food. 4 stars for service Pablo Neruda and Pablo Picasso. This place was named after these two Pablos, but the food served is Mexican. Located in Woodinville (they do have a terrace) and parking might be limited. Great music, look for the decoration in the walls, great for big groups. It was quite easy to get a reservation. The food is not quite authentic, however they did a good effort. We ordered: nachos, birria quesadilla (it was ok but not highly recommended), the chilaquiles with egg were on the soggy side lacking of flavor. Kids loved the pork tacos and French toast. Churros we're undercooked but I'm give them an A for effort . Service on the other hand was outstanding, I'd come back just for the excellent service. They were friendly, kind and quick.

Yelp
Had heard about this place that took over The Commons location in Woodinville a while back. Living farther away now it isn't a regular spot for us. We went with a large group (15+) for a birthday celebration. Yes we had reservation. The server was absolutely fantastic for this group and the size of the group. Super attentive and efficient. I had heard the food was 'meh' but this was not my experience. I got the shrimp enchilada plate per recommendation and it did not disappoint for me. Huge serving of 3 enchiladas and super spicy additional shrimp on top. The enchiladas and sauce was not the same spice level FYI. We were trying all the mocktail drinks and they all were very tasty. We kept ordering different ones. The place itself is nice. Open windows. Parking absolutely sucks here as always because of a small lot and a lot of wine tasting rooms nearby. Plan accordingly. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere. Food was pretty good, cocktails are amazing. I'd say their margaritas are better than said food. Service is ok, got our order wrong a few times but they were quick to fix it. I'll come again

Yelp
Love the food here! Ambiance could be a little better but a solid choice for Mexican food. The chicken tortilla soup was amazing. Service is excellent!

Yelp
We came to Pablo y Pablo for brunch around 11am on a Sunday. Parking lot had a lot of spaces when we got there, but was getting busier when we left around 12pm. The dining room is spacious and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was okay. It felt like everything needed some more flavor. The salsa choice we had was medium for the chips and salsa, but tasted like mild. I also asked for hot sauce that was pretty mild as well. Everything was very average, but on the pricier side of what I would have liked to pay for the food. Overall, it was fine, but nothing was too wow worthy.
google avatar

Shannon C.

Yelp
Went to this place on a whim and was able to sit outside right away on a Friday night. The chips to guacamole ratio was a bit off, we had a lot of guacamole and needed more chips. The tacos were very tasty, my favorite was the cauliflower. The fish tacos were very good too but got soggy fairly quickly. The tortilla were sturdy for there only being one. Typically I've seen street tacos with two tortillas to make sure they're stable. The drink was very fresh and I loved that they had non alcoholic offerings. Not a fan of the lavender but I could see it being good for someone else, it's just my preference. I loved that they had variety including some vegan nachos. The churros were only okay and I didn't like the chocolate at all. You do get a lot in the order though. Lastly the service was only okay. I think the waitress was covering a lot of tables and she only stopped by twice basically. Not really her fault, just seemed short staffed. Overall a nice dinner and location.

Yelp
So in my mind this was supposed to be a light lunch, umm yeah these guys don't mess around when it comes to portions (evidence in pictures) we had the nachos and added chicken YUM Now because we've been here a few times we went ahead and added some tacos (a little taco doesn't hurt right) the fish taco was awesome and crisp needed a little seasoning but the squeeze of lime fixed that right up! It also came with a side of soup and we selected the chicken tortilla soup OMG yeah that soup is heaven!! Now because we're gluttons we went ahead and ordered the churros... CAN. YOU. BLAME. ME. Churros are on point each time, perfectly cooked usually comes with 5pcs in an order. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT shout out to the staff, they were severely understaffed on the day we came in as the shift manager sent staff home since hardly any tables were filled and then low and behold more people showed up lol ooopsie. Service was great though. If your a first time visitor I've always loved the interior with the wrap around windows and outdoor seating to boost. Can get a little loud but nothing that'll ruin you time

Yelp
I've been to Pablo y Pablo a number of times. The palomas never disappoint. I'm not sure how they make them because I'm normally not a grapefruit fan but whatever they are doing, it's amazing. I need to order like 3+ everytime I go because they're so delicious. I am usually dairy free and I LOVE that they have so many vegan options. I love getting the vegan nachos. I am also a bit taco girly and I love all the different options they have. My only complaint is that they are individually priced and can get expensive pretty fast for how small they are. They are definitely tasty though so it's worth the splurge every now and again. Finally, they have good salsas but I'm not the biggest fan of the guacamole. It could use a little more salt but that's my preference.

Yelp
This place is SO good. I came for a HH last week and again for lunch this week. Never had the opportunity until now and I'm so glad I did. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The margaritas are fantastic - not weak but not overly strong. And the food....let's just say I'll be back for more. My friend ordered the tacos a la cart and I had the beef birria quesadillas - HIGHLY recommend. The order came with three which was perfect to have one as a leftover for later. If you're in the area this place is worth the stop. I'm looking forward to coming back again soon.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with my family after wine tasting. We got seated right away (with reservations). It was a weekend evening so they were pretty busy. The ginger and tamarind margarita I orders was delicious. It's "Americanized" Mexican food but food tasted good and the portion was huge - almost all of us had leftovers. Wish the kids tacos my daughter ordered came with our beans and rice vs. just rice.

Yelp
Food was AHHHmazing! Everything that was ordered was delightful to the taste. The Mexican corn comes 4 per order and was packed with flavor. The taquitos with pork was another appetizer ordered. They generously top with a red cabbage slaw and pickled onions, also 4 in an order. I wanted something brunchy, so I went with the pork belly benedicts. You get 2 thick slabs of pork belly with a special hollandaise and fried potatoes. The horchata was delicious. It was creamy and not watered down like some places. The ambiance is nice with well decorated walls with a PNW and Mexican feel. There are big windows that'll give you natural lighting and the layout of the restaurant is well thought out and spacious. Our server was very pleasant and knew the menu very well. She also made great recommendations for the liquor some of us wanted in our Mexican hot chocolate. Restrooms are also very clean, which is a nice plus! Parking is its own lot, but there are wineries around, and sometimes parking can be full. Prices are about average/ slightly above average, but well worth it. Vibes are good here- Enjoy!

Yelp
Great ambiance and location, they have fantastic Paloma's! Good food and service as well.

Yelp
Good guacamole, homemade chips, and tortillas. Our server was happy and helpful and all the food was good. I had the chopped salad with shredded chicken and devoured every last morsel. Some of the best roasted Brussels sprouts I've had. I will definitely go back sometime.

Yelp
We met here for brunch before going wine tasting. We had reservations which was nice and convenient. The service was stellar and our waitress deserves 5 stars. She was so attentive and brought refills on chips before we said anything. It is a relaxed vibe and a good pairing before wine tasting. The salsas red and green have great flavor and the elote and taquitoes as appetizers were perfect for the group of 6. The cocktails and horchata went perfectly with the meal. I ordered chilaquiles with green salsa and they were great. I wish I would have asked for the crema on the side. Other than that though, it had great flavor. I also didnt understand why there were mushrooms in them. The brisket skillet was something my husband ordered and he thought the brisket was tender andnthe oaxacan cheese was ooey gooey. The egg was cooked perfectly. The potatoes could have been seasoned more but they still good. Parking is tricky considering there are wineries in the same shopping center. We got parking about 5 minutes away.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try the Wallingford location for so long, so I was so excited to hear that a Woodinville location opened up! We came for dinner on new year's eve, it started out very empty when we arrived at 5, but was full by the time we were leaving. It's cute inside, very dark, intimate lighting. We started with drinks, a strawberry hibiscus margarita and a ranch water, which were both good! We also got some chips with some salsa that had more of a kick than we were expecting, but it was still great! For entrees we got the birria quesadillas and the chicken enchiladas and really enjoyed both!

Yelp
The ambiance of this place is everything & right up my alley. From the light fixtures above the bar to Neruda's poems on the wall behind the bar. We walked in around 6:00pm on a Tuesday. The hostess said there was a 20 minute wait. We put our name on the wait list & decided grabbed a drink at the bar while we waited on our table to be ready. There was hardly anyone sitting at the bar. Our bartender said we could order food at the bar so we ended up staying at the bar the entire night. Our bartender was super nice & helpful. He was killing it all night! Within 45min the entire restaurant (including the bar) was full! I still cannot get over how amazing the verde salsa & the soft shell crab taco was!! I definitely recommend trying the spicy papaya margarita if you like spicy. The octopus taco was really disappointing- the corn tortilla was the only thing that had flavor. So I would recommend just doubling up on the soft shell crab taco because it's just THAT good.

Yelp
Love when regular restaurants have a good amount of vegan options on the menu! This allows us vegans to have a social life with other non-vegans! Tried the pineapple salsa with chips, fried artichokes, mushroom and cashew "cheese" quesadillas and asparagus tacos. Everything was good except for the pineapple salsa. My non vegan family members raved about their kale enchiladas and the street corn. They didn't care for the Tres Leches cake.

Yelp
Yeah, I would skip this place. It's not authentic and more of a bar ambiance. The staff was friendly but it took over 20 minutes to get my mocktail. Although I enjoyed it, it wasn't worth the wait. We got chips and salsa, which you had to pay for. I found that odd. I ordered the enchiladas which I don't recommend because the sauce was just not it. My sister got the fish tacos with crab and that tasted like nothing but grease. Couldn't taste the other flavors. My son got the taquitos, which I feel like were in a freezer then thawed out and lightly fried.. We also ordered the street corn. Wow. Not sure what they were going for but that's not how those are supposed to taste. My husband ordered the quesabirria tacos. That was probably the best thing we ordered food wise. My husband and sister did enjoy the Moscow mules, so I would recommend that. Go for drinks, not for food.

Yelp
I am always eager to try new restaurants in my hometown and Pablo y Pablo was one that was still on the list!! We visited on a Tuesday night during happy hour. There was lots of seating available and we got a table. Service was very attentive and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. My mom and I shared the Taco Tuesday deal and my dad tried the soft shell crab taco + Baja fish. The cocktails were delicious!! I tried the blood orange and my mom got the house. Perfectly strong, sweet and I loved the spicy rim. The portion sizes were large but great for sharing. The chips and guacamole got demolished. We ended with the tres leches cake (included in the Taco Tuesday deal) plus a dulce de leche creme brule....... Oh my..... I am a SUCKER for crème brule and this absolutely hit the spot. The food was delicious and service was great- however the atmosphere wasn't the most relaxing. There was tables being shuffled around and doors left open creating quite the draft. The music was playing too loud for our taste and didn't seem like the right fit for Woodinville. While I am mourning the loss of The Commons, we will enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to a round 2.

Yelp
Nice spot for some tasty Mexican food after wine tasting! A little on the pricey side but the food was delicious so it was ok. A variety of drinks are available and I tried the Tamarind ginger margarita which was delicious. The street corn came on the cob so it was a little hard to eat but really tasty and a nice spice. The tacos were great and I appreciated the thoughtful vegetarian options. The Gochujang taco was my favorite although the mushroom shwarma didn't disappoint and two was plenty. The tables are nicely spaced and it was busy but we easily had a group conversation.

Yelp
First time at this place. I like the open, Latin afternoon out ambiance. Food was great! We ordered the rockfish ceviche, braised chicken enchiladas, fish and beef tacos. Flavor and presentation hit my craving! Service was exquisite. No wait times. I'm excited to come back and try other entrees!

Yelp
I would rate this 3.5 stars if I could. I had been to the Seattle location years ago and didn't remember being wowed by it, but it had been awhile and my friends wanted to try this location. We came here on a weeknight around 6, and it was fairly busy when we arrived. I ordered a drink and a few different tacos to try. The tacos were ok, but not the best I've ever had. As I looked around, I didn't really see a lot of other people had ordered tacos, so it's possible I ordered wrong. The worst part about the restaurant though was that it was SO LOUD. I felt like I had to yell to be heard, and my friends felt the same. I'm not sure if that's normally the case, but it was really difficult to have a conversation. The food wasn't so amazing that it was worth returning for that kind of experience.

Yelp
Absolutely lovely breakfast place. I was worried as my kids are so picky, but when my son saw his burrito, he was on cloud 9. Location is perfect, plenty of parking nearby, food is delish and service is on it. Loved it.

Yelp
I think Pablo y Pablo is great, but this location isn't my favorite. I've tried it a few times, and between weird interactions with staff, dumpy bathrooms, poor parking, frequently running out of menu items, this location has never knocked it out of the park. The interior itself is nice, but someone please upgrade this nasty bathroom. It was gross when the location was the commons, and it's still gross now. I do recommend their baller tacos, non alcoholic cocktails, and nachos. Cadillac marg is good too. However their "specialty" margs are junk... they keep them on tap and they are entirely watered down. More like a spritzer than a nice margarita, which is pretty disappointing being a Mexican restaurant. I will likely keep coming here because it's close to home, but if you are looking for a better experience head to their Seattle location.

Yelp
I went to the Pablo y Pablo soft opening at Happy Hour. They have great Happy Hour food that isn't small ... it filled up my date and me. Though we did order quit a bit to try all sorts of flavors. I enjoy the Heavy Restaurant Group of local restaurants. This is their second Pablo y Pablo; the other is in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. Next to this Woodinville Pablo y Pablo is another restaurant in their family, Purple which has been a staple in the area for many year. This Pablo y Pablo has replace The Commons which was also a Heavy Restaurant Group restaurant. We started with sangria. Not your basic wine with fruit, which really isn't sangria anyway. This is a true sangria with brandy and triple sec. The first sip was strong, but what followed was smooth and tasty. I'll definitely order that again. The only sangria they currently offer is a red. For a starter with chips, we ordered the guacamole. It was as expected. No surprise and tasty. We also ordered their pineapple salsa and we were less than impressed with this offering - just course chopped pineapples and onions with some chopped jalapeño on top (no picture). We only ate about a third of the salsa, it just wasn't worth the stomach space with all the tacos; We favored the guacamole. I was going for the tacos, so we got four and split then in half: pineapple & bacon, chipotle braised chicken, pork carnitas, and Baja fish. My favorite was the chipotle braised chicken as it offered a generous portion of meat and offered a kick of spice without being overpowering. My least favorite was the Baja fish with needed a little more Baja! It had a good amount of fish but lack in the flavor department. As a lover of Hawai'ian pizza, the pineapple & bacon taco was a must order, but I would've liked more of both pineapple and bacon. The pork carnitas was as expected - delicious. We were so full we left without dessert but we saw a couple enjoying a plate of churros and I was jealous that we didn't save room because those looked amazing. Maybe dessert first next time!

Yelp
Service was good, busy. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun. We did have to ask for water refills a few times. We enjoyed a few rounds of the Paloma drinks (SO DELICIOUS). The strawberry hibiscus Margarita tasted strong but good. Majority of food was seasoned well and all cooked perfectly. However, crispy carnitas plate was lacking in flavor and no crispy. The verde sauce on the smothered burrito could've been more flavorful. It tasted like canned verde. The soft shelled crab taco was my favorite!

Yelp
I'm torn, I wanted to give a 1 star review for one dish and a 5 star for the other. My 1 star review dish - a Baja fish bowl - came with a complimentary hair and a bone in the boneless fish. I kept it aside, didn't want to make a fuss but let them know. The other dish - tacos was quite good. Taste is on point, hygiene and care is not. I have been there with my toddler, and the bone in the fish was a red flag in what's touted as boneless fish if a child were eating it. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place to anyone else.

Yelp
Ordered a steak taco and chicken tacos. Chicken tacos were luke warm and the steak taco was ice cold. This is the second time that's happened. Not sure why it's so hard to serve it hot

Yelp
I tried this restaurant last night after having it recommended by a friend. We went mainly for drinks but both got food as well. I ordered the vegan nachos, and they had so many amazing sounding vegan options! The nachos were just ok, they had too many jalapeños for my liking and not enough of the vegan cashew-based cheese sauce but I still enjoyed. My friend got the birria quesadilla which she loved so much!! For drinks, I ordered the strawberry hibiscus margarita, which wasn't as sweet as I hoped but still tasty. My friend got the normal marg and loved that. We went around 7:30pm Friday night and ended up having to wait 40 minutes for a table for 4. Service was friendly. The restaurant is very cute and romantic, would make a great date night spot.
