Admittedly I walked in here ready to love it because my buddy who's lived here 17 years raves about it and… Worth every star! When you walk in there is an adorable vibe, the place is clean and the merch area is well-stocked with a variety of colorful happy bags of beans as well as T-shirts and to-go cups and AeroPress gear. Melissa was super-friendly and welcomed me to Pablo's for my first visit with a great smile 😁 There are maybe 10 two-top tables, one larger one and a couple of pub-height two-tops by the beautiful plants that line the window wall. I got the darker roast coffee (Danger Monkey) and it's delicious! Because I am gonna stay and read my book for a while they offered me a ceramic mug to enjoy it in and generously offer a refill which is much appreciated For the non-dairy and vegan-choice option you'll be happy to know there is oat milk as a splash option on the condiment counter alongside dairy milk. The music is chill and at a great volume level so the conversations around not exceedingly loud which is good for people who want to take a phone call while they sip or eat. There are vegan cookies but no breakfast sandwich option at the moment. I'm hoping I can help change that but we'll see - this is only my first time here!

Google
Perfect cozy coffee shop vibes. Loved all the massive indoor snake plants and dragon trees. The iced matcha latte was perfect - not too sweet and not too strong. Loved the hot chai latte as well. Will definitely be coming back!

Google
Love Pablo’s! The plants and the staff give off a really great vibe. They offer little punch cards for incentives for free coffee after 6 purchases! Their baked goods are phenomenal (although get there before 9 am or there will only be 1 or 2 choices left) I think the only thing I’d change is the seating, often times indoor seating is taken early in the morning (but the place is smaller so not necessarily their fault). Dog friendly outside seating!

Google
Very busy place for Sunday morning, barely found a seat. I had a small drip coffee - it comes with one time free refill. Haven't tried any pastries but they do have it. Liked the atmosphere..

Google
The hot oat milk latte was just right for the chilly weather! Only problem, I forgot to take a picture of the drink with the art leaf 🍁 that’s how good it was! I sipped it right down! Sorry 😣 There are also journal drawing books that patrons share their art in. I 🥰 loved them and went through quite a few. Check it out while in the area! Blessings

Google
Love the smell of freshly roasted beans. Excellent selection of coffee beans at fair prices. Plenty of seating. Free street parking.

Google
Great local coffee shop. We usually go here since it’s like 3-5min from our house. Really nice. Plenty of seating, friendly staff, and delicious baked goods and drinks! My dad’s cappuccino was good, my hot chocolate and croissant was yummy, and so was my sister’s burrito, delicious. Great atmosphere and ambiance, quick service, and great workers who work here. So, all in all, great local coffee shop. Will be back!

Google
Pablo’s has multiple locations but this is the largest one. There are plenty of tables for working from away or for catching up with an old friend. There is an outdoor area too, but the inside is really where the vibe is. They have some really impressive plants too which really set the vibe. It’s clean but earthy, cozy but productive, and the coffee is wonderful. This is a go to spot for me when friends want to meet up and gossip about our lives. They do have a limited menu of breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and breakfast burritos. Nothing mind blowing, but enough for a little snack with your latte.
google avatar

Ethan W.

Yelp
Staff were super nice, and the coffee smacked (I got a large americano). Breakfast burritos were had were potatoes, egg, green chili, and cheese, and they were awesome as well. Lots of plants and wood finish inside, colorful art, check 'em out!

Yelp
I really like this coffee shop because of 3 things 1) the coffee 2) the decor 3) the staff Pablo's gets a lot of hate because they DONT HAVE WI-FI, but I think this makes it the best place to grab some coffee with someone you need to catch up with. The coffee is always going to be really good and you'll always feel lively. I love this location and their other a lot, so definitely check them out. Yelp
Great vibe at this coffee shop. Staff was very helpful since it was my first time. Most important the coffee was great! I had a Danger Monkey and would recommend it.

Yelp
Old school coffee house with excellent coffee beverages and pastries. This is the type of place where people settle in and read a book. I've seen artists at the tables working on pencil and pastel art. It's that kind of place. There is a kids' section with children's books a few toys. Some electrical plugs to charge your devices, but no wifi (I told you it was old school). Outdoor seating available, so you can bring your dog while you chill with an iced coffee beverage. Very chill atmosphere. My favorite coffee house in Denver.

Yelp
Love this place we were visiting from Ca and so happy we came here. We were greeted and treated excellent by Mika not only did she make my drink that was not on the menu but she gave us recommendation to go the the incline loved it ! Thank you
google avatar

Tina J.

Yelp
Good heavens the latte I had was so delicious. It is unfortunate they were out of their baked pastries. Understandable, given how busy they were. The ambiance is perfect and there are multiple little tables to sit down and enjoy your coffee. Just an fyi, there is no Wi-Fi. I look forward to my next coffee trip here.
google avatar

Yelp
The baristas were very nice and the drinks were yummy! I got a hot chocolate with almond milk and it was the perfect temperature.

Yelp
Cute hipster vibes coffee shop. I got two of their scones and a cappuccino. The scones were phenomenal. the cappuccino was fine, but, and I can't quite put my finger on it, not great. I dont know if the beans were burnt or maybe it was just an unlucky pick. I finished it and I didnt get like sick or anything, and Im not exactly a coffee snob either (I cant like pick out notes or anything) so this is really a gut reaction. The vibes of the cafe were sick. They remind me of the coffee shops I used to study at in college. If I were still doing things like that Id be probably going here more often. But again, if you read my other reviews you'll know my comparison to other options in the area matters, and there is strong competition in the coffee shop area. He certainly the four and not the five. Great choice, but I have other favorites.
google avatar

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
My favorite coffee in denver - I probably go here at least once a week. The staff is always friendly and quick. The coffee is just delectable and the vibes are simply cool. Couldn't recommend a place more!
google avatar

Amy R.

Yelp
Came here for a meeting and it was such a great spot! I ordered a Vietnamese coffee, which was delicious and perfectly made. The barista was super friendly and helpful as I teetered about what I should order. But my favorite thing about this coffee shop is the warm vibe in here. Tons of plants lined along the windows, ample seating (so it's great for meetings), and beautiful natural light pouring in. Highly recommend!

Erin T.

Yelp
Lovely corner coffee shop. Beautiful well kept plants in the windows. I had the cheese danish and a drip coffee, both were delicious. Service was great too. Would definitely go back!
google avatar

Stefanie C.

Yelp
Cute, hip coffee spot near the Cap Hill neighborhood. I came here with a few friends to catch up, and I got a Vietnamese iced coffee. We sat outside because the weather was nice, and the music was too loud inside anyways. Quick and easy to order with the baristas. The coffee itself wasn't memorable, but I enjoyed the company I was with. Fascinating how mixed and inconsistent all the reviews are, which is a red flag to me. Such extremes of experience, and mine seemed to fall right in the middle. There are a few other Pablo's Coffee locations, so I wonder how the other ones are. Doesn't seem like a bad place to drop by if you live in the area, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to come back.
google avatar

Chloe R.

Yelp
I unfortunately have a very mixed review about this lovely coffee shop - I LOVED the vibe here, from the interior decor to the colors and the table layout, and the coffee I ended up grabbing to go was very tasty! Unfortunately, though, this location does not have WiFi (not sure if this is consistent across all Pablo's locations because I've only tried this one). As a fully-remote worker who loves frequenting coffee shops, I make sure to check the website of every coffee shop I try to see if they mention not having WiFi and being more conversation-centered (which I totally understand, as long as I can find this out beforehand). I didn't see anything about this on Pablo's social media profile or website, so I was very surprised and a little flustered when I got there and had to rush home soon after so I wouldn't miss the work meeting I planned to take there. This would be a super cute spot to come with a friend, or to read a book! But if you have work to do and don't have (or can't use, in my company's case) a hotspot, skip this one!
google avatar

Lindsay D.

Yelp
Was not of the coffee to be honest but this place was so cute and unique on the inside. The staff was really helpful as well. Sadly, again the coffee was just not to my liking. I had an iced vanilla latte. I was bummed because I really wanted to make this place one of my regular coffee spots. Also, got some beans from them on this visit, but was not a fan. The coffee tasted bitter and burnt.
google avatar

Anna N.

Yelp
I didn't even get any coffee here but the service made me want to come back. I came in planning to do some homework for a while but it was right before close, so they recommended me another place with wifi and late hours. One of the guys even wrote down the name of the place for us! The plants and ambiance is beautiful and I will definitely be returning.
google avatar

Ella R.

Yelp
Popular local go-to coffee joint with an impressive arsenal of snake plants lined along the inside of the shop. Came here for a mean cup of sweet, sweet iced Vietnamese Coffee and was not disappointed.
google avatar

Heather S.

Yelp
My favorite coffee in Denver... danger monkey! Always bustling with busy people. Expect a short line and if there isn't you are lucky. Order a coffee and a breakfast burrito to go or stay. Sit in the patio with the sounds of 6th and the sun or cozy up inside. You get a refill with your purchase so make sure to hangout for that. I never see people on their computers here so if you need to do computer work, call to make sure they even allow it/have wifi. If they don't, I love this place even more. Minimal parking in the back. When I lived in Denver this was a frequented stop for me. Now when I visit, it is top of my list to get a cup of joe and a bag of beans to take home. Danger monkey, I crave you!!
google avatar

Jasmine B.

Yelp
A very quaint and classic coffee shop that is a neighborhood favorite. I felt really safe coming here during COVID because they have an outdoor window to order your coffee and bring it out to you. They also have lots of outdoor space with picnic style benches (and you can also bring your dog which is a plus!) They were speedy and my oat milk latte was yummy! A very classic go-to. I also love the outdoor art (see photos) and their beautiful plants indoor. Definitely try it out if you're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Bridget S.

Yelp
FYI they don't have wifi here. I repeat they don't have wifi here. Good atmosphere, to plug in laptops
google avatar

Maribel E.

Yelp
Coffee was okay, but the lady who was "helping" me out had a stick up her butt. I think she was the manager too. It was my first time there, and was asking for suggestion, but she was so impatient and even rolled her eyes at me. When she handed me my order she basically shoved it at me, and ran away lol before I could say "thanks" . I will get coffee somewhere else.
google avatar

Justine A.

Yelp
One of my favorite local Denver cafes! This particular location has an eclectic, chatty morning crowd that really adds to the overall comforting vibe. The drinks and baked goods are delicious, and the baristas are friendly and talented. Stop by for pick-me-up any time
google avatar

Yelp
Been meaning to try Pablo's for ages and finally had the opportunity to on a snowy Sunday morning. Great atmosphere, lots of plants, people coming and going and the hum of quiet conversations. No WiFi meant enjoying the company of those around or reading an old fashioned paper book. I've gotta say I love that they don't do WiFi. It brings things back to basics and encourages people to reconnect with their surroundings. Simply cozy is the best way to describe in one word. Latte index: overall 4/5. We got both a latte and cappuccino. The latte tasted just as it should - bold coffee cut by steamed milk. In my opinion, the coffee could've been slightly stronger and the milk a little sweeter, but at this point we're splitting hairs. The cappuccino was good too, but there was nothing in particular that blew me away. Good coffee, definitely. Great coffee that I'd seek out and drive to? Probably not quite there, but enough people have raved about it that it deserves a second chance. Would certainly be back. Great spot to come for an entire weekend morning to people watch and/or catch up with friends.
google avatar

Marie D.

Yelp
Rude! Both guys around the counter super rude. If you want to be yelled at go there! Btw no wifi. Welcome to the 21st century
google avatar

Scott L.

Yelp
Great coffee and lattes. Nice atmosphere. Staff is "ehh" . Couple dudes (including the Aussie are awesome). The girls just tolerate me and one of the other guys would rather be somewhere else. Also NO internet. This saddens me.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
Just overall an awesome coffee shop. They have great coffee, food, and location. Definitely a favorite of mine. Can't wait to finally get back to being able to work from a coffee shop
google avatar

Anna F.

Yelp
Pablo's is an excellent place to sit in the sun or at a cozy table with a good book and an even better cup of coffee. These guys make some of the best coffee in town. From their espresso beverages to the cold brew, the flavor is on point. Prices are not cheap but I would say they are comparable to other craft coffee shops in the area. They proudly do not have wifi, so don't expect to come here to get work done on your computer, but you definitely get the sense of community here.
google avatar

Christopher B.

Yelp
After all these years, this is still my favorite location, even if I can't go inside and hang out. I think that Denver has an amazing coffee scene and it's really hard to go wrong but I do have my favorites and it's really hard to top Pablo's. On this specific stop, they had Sumatran as their drip coffee, which is one of my favorites, but not one I've had there. It was really good and impressed me further with the quality and the taste of the coffee they offer here.
google avatar

Rebecca M.

Yelp
Met a couple of friends this morning for coffee and to catch up. The shop is conveniently located on the corner with parking in back. The space is bright with tables and a lounge area for varied seating. They have the usual variety of different coffee/tea offerings and an assortment of snacks and treats. I stopped in at approx 8:45 and it was nice to see the shop so busy! There were folks lounging and sipping and a line of people ordering to go. I had a nonfat latte and it was smooth, rich and a perfect pour. I love to see locally owned stores be supported and do well! I enjoyed the low key vibe and will come back. The only down side is no wifi, which is a bit of a deterrent for me to get out of my home office and go work here occasionally while having some coffee and a baked goodie.

Charles P.

Yelp
Gotta love this coffee. These people know how to roast. Atmosphere is nice, staff OK at best, but if you understand great roasting, this is it. Go get a cup.
google avatar

Irina S.

Yelp
This is my first time being thoroughly bummed out by a coffee shop. It's probably the current events messing with me, but this used to be a place that sometimes cheered me up if I needed a treat. The coffee is pretty good and the culture might be your jam - if you want to roll the dice on a mood swing of very grumpy snobbybarista one day vs very friendly barista another day. Pablo's was my pandemic isolation solace for a while, a place I could get some casual socialization, a little caffeine, cute dogs outside. The baristas are sometimes really nice, sometimes really mean (the reviews that mention eye rolling are accurate). Sometimes they're on a caricature of a power trip that makes me want to ask who hurt them. That's way too much passive aggressive drama first thing in the morning. Do they think they're the in-crowd in high school? What is going on? Is their management being awful, putting them in a bad mood? I overlooked the inconsistencies in customer service for a while, until a bunch of last straws. It's fine, I'll just get my coffee elsewhere or make it myself, I just can't help but feel a sense of grief about how rude and unkind some people are. Society is in such a weird place that a little kindness can go a long way, even if it's just a coffee transaction.
google avatar

Brandon S.

Yelp
The coffee is the best. The HUMAN BEINGS that work here are the BEST. This is not a starbucks, nor does it want to be. Be kind. Give grace. Be helpful.
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
This was the best coffee I've had in Denver. Seriously, it was absolutely delicious, and was made all the more tasty by the amazing atmosphere at Pablo's. My friend lives nearby and suggested this spot on a rainy day when we wanted to hang out but had nothing to actually do. This shop has plenty to keep you entertained, if staring at its beautiful and eclectic interior is not enough. They have sketch books where other coffee goers, from should-be-famous to scribblers have doodled which you can browse through, which was a really fun activity and made for great conversation. I expected grabbing coffee to be boring, but at Pablo's I got more than I bargained for in terms of entertainment value and deliciousness.
google avatar

Michelle N.

Yelp
The service and coffee here is great! I had to make two trips here since I forgot my wallet but it was worth it! Right now they don't have indoor seating but the outdoor seating is great! Dogs, sun and a cup of coffee! Everyone is using their best judgement of what 6 feet is :)

Jody S.

Yelp
I prefer to keep reviews positive, but felt this one needed to be left for anyone like me to save you the discomfort. This shop is pretentious, and not in the Frasier Crane endearing kind of way. The music was too loud; they lack WiFi; the barista's are crass and arrogant. I wanted a place where I could sit and work for a couple hours, and this was an awful experience. The plants are nice, but it's not close to enough to redeem the experience. And the coffee was mediocre at best.
google avatar

Casey D.

Yelp
Hello, Coffee Cake!! Pablo's Coffee is a superb craft Denver coffee roaster! The company sources its coffee from around the globe, roasts it by hand, and serves it in two Denver locations (6th & Washington/13th & Pennsylvania). So, grab a cup of African/Arabian, American, Indonesian, or God forbid...Decaf coffee and a large slice of Coffee Cake. The last part is a must! Good gravy, Mrs. Davey, Pablo's has the BEST Coffee Cake!! Your mouth and stomach will thank you a million times over! Coffee + Coffee Cake = Happiness
google avatar

Yvonne L.

Yelp
I stopped into Pablo's on 6th on a brisk Wednesday afternoon to redeem my FREE beverage for getting 6 drinks on my loyalty card. The beautiful plant filled room currently lit with festive lights was filled with warmth and that wonderful roasted coffee aroma. A quick dip into the restroom to wash my hands and I'm happy to find clean, well stocked facilities. I opted for a large double dirty almond milk chai to go. While waiting I noticed some Pablo's socks in their merchandising corner. I had to get a pair for myself (and another for a friend!) After purchasing, the friendly fella behind the counter mentioned they were sized which was SO HELPFUL as I originally grabbed two small pairs which i was informed would be suitable for a child. He checked their stock and I ended up with a medium and large pair which should be better fits. I received my beverage and although simple the presentation was nice. It smelled SO GOOD with a dusting of cinnamon on top. I took a sip and it may possibly be the best dirty chai I've ever had. I originally ordered it to go but this drink actually made me want to stop, have a seat in this awesome coffee shop and just appreciate this beverage and this moment. Oh, and I got a free postcard!
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
I wandered in after eating at the pizza place next door. It was busy with patrons sitting around, but no wait at the counter. I ordered a cold brew to go, and it was pretty good.
google avatar

Mary S.

Yelp
The server was so incredibly rude and offensive I could not stay to order my coffee. I tried to get a cup of coffee to go holding a 4 pound esa dog and baby and they told me I had to get out with the dog. She is a certified emotional support animal... But I get it if you don't want dogs in your shop I will happily leave. All you have to do is be nice about it but she was so incredibly rude I can't imagine how she would interact with other clients with high maintenance or complicated orders.I would not recommend going here based on the rudeness and demeanor of the staff
google avatar

Megan R.

Yelp
Pablo's, I want to love you. I really do. But would it kill you to smile? For how cute your decor is and how tasty your coffee is, I'm always left wanting a little more when it comes to service. Good things: --The Americano! Y'all make really good, strong, dark coffee. I'm into it. --The decor. So many plants! I love plants! And I like that little area with the wall paper and couches and chandelier. Super cute. --They rotate art and local goods to sell through the shop. I like supporting local artists! Good on ya, Pablo's. Less good things: --The staff just isn't very warm or friendly. I'm not asking for a hug when I come in, but maybe just a nice greeting and a smile? Is that too much to ask? --No wifi. That might be the Millennial in me, and I get the fact that you want humans to talk with other humans. But as a lady who works remotely, I can't work here. Bummer. All in all, Pablo's is good. It's certainly not on the top of my Denver coffee list, but I'll definitely caffeinate there occasionally.
google avatar

Roger G.

Yelp
I have been a patron of Pablo's ever since they opened their first shop in the DCPA back in the day. They are a locally owned and operated shop and roaster. This location is where they moved from once they left the local downtown. I like this location because it is bright and comfortable. I am a big fan of their Two Stroke Smoke and Danger Monkey coffees. Their espresso is good but a bit too dark and robust for me because I have developed a taste for a lighter roasted coffee. It still satisfies me in a mocha or latte. Although I understand that they want to encourage conversation here, I don't like that they don't have wifi here. I want to have the option to connect if I am here alone or need to find information for some reason. Not that I have to explain that in 2016. I think this may be the last hold out and they can be quite snooty about it. Buy your whole bean coffee on Tuesdays for a discount.
google avatar

Tess W.

Yelp
This place is simply wonderful. Smooth black coffee, robust cappuccinos, and yummy baked goods. What sets it apart? When you walk in, there's a bustle of conversations, people reading books, and writing on actual notepads. Feels like a true refuge and gives hope for humanity in this over-stimulated world. Please never get Wifi, Pablo's! The lack of it is unbelievably refreshing and makes the feel of the shop so wonderful.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best coffee shops in the city! Coffee is always on point, whole bean or drip. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable
google avatar

Tammie W.

Yelp
Pablo's is situated on the corner of 6th with ample street parking. The hubby and I stopped here with our Fika coffee passport book to get a BOGO of any espresso drink. We've been here before and like the laid back, chill atmosphere. I ordered a small iced Vietnamese coffee which was strong and delicious while the hubby ordered his usual large iced vanilla latte. Pablo's isn't trying to be overly sophisticated or too outrageously crafty with their coffee drinks. They're serving a solid cup of coffee without the stuffy attitude which I so much appreciate.
google avatar

Turner S.

Yelp
Pablo's is what a coffee shop should be, not rushed, not chaotic, just laid back with good music, spacious seating and good music. Good selection of pastries, bagels, scones and other breakfast foods. Oh... and the coffee is great! Let the world rush by you while you relax at Pablo's.
google avatar

Randy B.

Yelp
A few chandeliers really can spice up a place, but no worries, you can leave your fancy pants at home. It's cute, with a mixture of both rustic, black & white, and color -- which makes it eclectic in style. One wall is all beans, so lots to choose from by the cup, or beans to go. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pablos-coffee-denver?select=4MEuXsiV-oBGwSj7yWC9OA#4MEuXsiV-oBGwSj7yWC9OA) I enjoyed my caramel latte, and oh how pretty it was (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/pablos-coffee-denver?select=Gogj0Wizm1X_3oFcbIpTSw#Gogj0Wizm1X_3oFcbIpTSw), but the Ethiopian french press that my friend ordered was ewwww and yuck. Yup, both. Thin, and bitter in taste. Randy 1, Friend 0. Then, we determined that Pablo's does NOT have WI-FI. Huh? What kind of coffee place is this? What year is it? With a plethora of other coffee shops around...sorry Pablo, no vote for you. Pedro yes, you no. Pedro 1, Pablo 0. Parking tip: A small private lot in the back, and a good amount of street.
google avatar

Peter B.

Yelp
Hands down the best neighborhood coffee shop in Denver with equally amazing coffee they roast themselves. I recommend an iced Vietnamese or iced coffee in the summer, or any of their classic roasts in the colder months. Danger Monkey is always a crowd favorite. I haven't tried their pour overs yet, but looking forward to diving into those next time I'm in for an extended stay. My only complaint is good food options. The bfast burrito could be worlds better even though it's nuked in the microwave, maybe check out a different local supplier? Otherwise, keep it up Pab's!

Jeannette S.

Yelp
Attentive service, cute place, beyond delicious coffee!!!!! Reasonably priced too! Can't wait to return
google avatar

Jackie S.

Yelp
We had a bit of a wait for dinner at Angelo's next door and decided to come in a for a snack and coffee. We're glad we did! We had the breakfast sandwich and the Vietnamese coffee! Both were great but we wanted to wrote this review for the stellar staff! Not only was service prompt, since we're from out of town, they took the time to give us pointers on what to do and where to go while we are in Denver! They went above and beyond for us out of towners and it was a great first impression of the city. Thanks guys :) Also the decor is really cozy and chic.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite shops to hunker down and read a book while sipping on a latte on a cold day. Sometimes it can be a hard time grabbing a seat since so many others like hanging out there, also. In addition to the great coffee, Pablo's has a great pastries and food!

Yelp
Pablo's was a very pleasant surprise. I didn't know that there were multiple locations but I've passed one every week for a year and regret not trying it sooner. The coffee was definitely above my expectations. My main reason for trying Pablo's was that they serve Glazed and Confuzed doughnuts on Saturday mornings. The selection was pretty unique and I picked up my friend one that she absolutely loved. Mine was nothing special. The doughnuts aren't a selling point for me. As for the coffee itself, they had a very well balanced Costa Rican light roast that was very enjoyable. I want to try their latte. Almost everyone there had ordered some variety of their latte. The shop definitely doesn't have a snobby vibe, it is a pretty relaxed environment. I'll be back
