Where To Go On A Coffee Date In Seattle - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Green Lake is always a solid date neighborhood, as it lends itself well to temperature-checking what this person thinks about physical activity and/or dogs. And Pacha is the best choice. This all-day spot is thoroughly beachy—thanks to tropical plants, fresh juice, and various shades of tan—which should foster relaxation even if you discover early on that your date wasn’t joking about being a barefooter." - aimee rizzo

Pacha Collective - Review - Green Lake - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Inside this self-proclaimed Tulum-inspired cafe there are tons of hanging plants, limestone walls, and a real VW bus parked at the center of it all. You can sit inside said bus snacking on an acai bowl, or slide up to the bar perusing the all day menu that includes tofu chorizo breakfast bowls, burrata toast, and rockfish al pastor tacos. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Kayla Sager-Riley

This place left a lot to be desired. Food took about 30+ mins to arrive. The food was very mid. I ordered the ultimate bagel and it looked very basic and tasted flavorless (see photos). I also ordered the seasonal toasted coconut cherry mocha which also tasted so bland and nothing like the name. I had to go somewhere else after to order a coffee. My partner got the breakfast burrito and rated it 6/10. He got the raspberry lemon espresso tonic and could barely finish a quarter of it. The place is packed on a Saturday with long lines. For those trying to work the noise level is a 15/10. Aesthetics - it’s very cute and the car inside is a vibe. If you’re going for a basic coffee and vibes then this is good. For anything else, it’s a pass.

We visited Pacha for a weekday brunch and enjoyed the lively atmosphere—it was fairly crowded, but we found a table without waiting. Unfortunately, they were out of the veggie burger, so we ordered the Emerald City toast, roasted veggie bowl, a mocha, and the Tropical Tan juice. Everything tasted fantastic, and the ambience was excellent! Service was good, too. However, a few things kept the experience from being great: The prices are on the higher side compared to similar spots. The juice was delicious but only filled about ¾ of what looked like an 8 oz glass. My mocha came in a to-go cup despite dining in—I noticed others were served in ceramic mugs, which I’d have preferred. Overall, these small issues made it feel like an average experience rather than an outstanding experience. We might return, but probably not right away.

Had an amazing brunch at Pasha Collection! We tried the emerald toast, breakfast burritos, and the Varde smoothie — everything was absolutely delicious. The standout for me was the smoothie bowl — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The cozy ambiance and friendly service made the experience even better. Definitely a must-visit spot for brunch lovers!

Google
Second time at Pacha and it didn't disappoint. Great place for brunch and conversation. Love the Cali vibes and decor. I wish they had table service because the lines get long and if you luckily get a table, someone will need to stay behind while the others order. Once we ordered our drinks came fairly quick. I've tried the avocado toast with burrata and the grilled chicken salad so far. Both were fresh and delicious. I could taste quality in every ingredient and both dishes were memorable. The pressed juices are also amazing and I love that they serve mimosas. Fun trendy place.

I got the new roasted veggie bowl with mixed greens, and it was fantastic. Super friendly staff and a cute spot. It was a Friday evening, and the monthly open mic made it even more special.

This review is about sustainability! 🥹 I was delighted to see all of this multi use, real silverware and mugwear in your café. By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish, and it means a lot to me as a customer to support businesses that are taking clear, practical steps to mitigate the plastic pollution crisis. Especially in this glorious waterfront city. What a way to pay it forward to the local ecosystems and honor the past and future of this city. I love that you have real cups at the water refill station, and that my absolutely delicious smoothie came in a reusable bowl with a real spoon. Truly, it sounds silly, but this sets a great example for what is completely possible for other Seattle cafés to pull off. Even if in incremental ways. Single used plastics did not enter the main stream until the 1970s, and you are reminding us that in modern day, it is completely possible without plastic. Thank you again for letting me enjoy a trash free meal. It was absolutely delicious, the service was kind, and your intentionality felt palpable.

Google
Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and an iced mocha. I thought the sandwich was pretty ok and the coffee was better than expected. Came on a Sunday around 11:30am, so it wasn't too crowded. The baristas and servers were nice but I got some off-putting vibes from the cashier at the front. I don't expect everyone to be bubbly and welcoming but seriously this girl didn't even try. I felt like I was sincerely bothering her when I ordered. I don't know? So ordering felt a little awkward and I still tipped 18% but if you're going to want people to come back, at least put someone welcoming at FOH.

Google
I had a really good experience here. The atmosphere is wonderful! I got the seasonal cold brew with coconut cold foam. I was expecting the coconut cold foam to be more prominent but I could barely taste it. Other than that the cold brew was great.

Yelp
This coffee shop is basically a restaurant but with a lot of cozy sitting where you can enjoy a good book or sit and work. Not only do they have the coffee and pastries, but they also have alcohol and regular food! The young lady that took my order was so sweet and made me feel welcomed! I loved all the plants they have throughout! If in the area again, I'd come back for sure!

Yelp
Cute cafe that gets really busy. There is something for everyone and the drinks are varied and delightful. The ambiance is also really pretty and a great place for a date or brunch with a friend. I like that this is close to Green Lake too. I got the kimchi tempeh bowl. It was delicious and the portion size was quite large! The slight sweet, lightly caramelized tempeh paired perfectly with the egg and avo. Love that they have an emphasize on healthy-ish options here. Also had the matcha. That was decent! Overall would recommend if meeting up with people in the Green Lake area.
google avatar

Yelp
Very cute cafe with a lot of seating inside. Only tried their drinks, but many other customers seemed to get food. I ordered the pistachio cold foam + cold brew. As you can see from the photo, it was just regular cold foam with pistachio on top. I was expected the cold foam to be mixed with the pistachio syrup. The cold brew was also a bit too acidic for me. My friend ordered the strawberry matcha and it was a miss. The color of it was so light. You could not taste the strawberry either. This was a miss for me.
google avatar

Chelsia L.

Yelp
If you're into LA cafe vibes, this is the place for you! There's solo seating available by the windows for people who want to work on their computers which is kind of nice. The kimchi tempeh bowl and the grilled chicken sandwich were yum. It's been a while since I've seen tempeh done well? I did skip the sauce that comes with the bowl and took out some of the pickled onion slices cause they were too overpowering.

Yelp
FINALLY! Seattle needed a place like this so bad. Late to the party and so happy to know about it. Got the veggie bowl. It's $13 but it's HUGE. And quality. So worth it. I almost ordered the rhubarb matcha and then saw someone else with it and they said it's their favorite drink. So will be checking that out next time. Everything here is great: food, service, ambiance. Music needs help (at least when I was there).

Yelp
This place was popping on a Saturday morning but the line moved fast and there was plenty of seating. I appreciated the healthy options and normal portion sizes. Fun vibes and the staff all seemed to be having a great time. Cinnamon roll and breakfast sandwich were our favs. The place does get quite loud and the acoustics could be improved but a great stop if you are in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
A cute cafe for the food and the vibes. The interior is unique from other cafes with their cute little van. It doubles as a cafe and tavern and have cocktails. Unique coffee specials and salad bowls, sandwiches, and smoothie bowls. The service is great and the workers are super sweet even when it's a rush they're still so kind.
google avatar

ThuyVy N.

Yelp
Saw they had smoothies and juice here now, went here before but I think these are new to the menu so wanted to check it out. Overall the place is cute and the staff is friendly. I thought the smoothie was mid, kinda like a wild berry Costco but a little creamier and more sour but a lot pricier. The pressed juice I thought was very good, little bit of ginger but good citrus flavor. The matcha was decent, one of the better ones in the Greenlake area. I got the bagel sandwhich and it was pretty decent, nice and warm, the sausage was an Interestring flavor though a little more flavor -- maybe apple??!!! Not sure but I didn't mind it. Overall I think the juices and smoothies here are better than the coffee I've had here.

Yelp
WOW! I've been to Pacha a few times already since it's nice and close to Green Lake, and it has a cozy environment with lots of drinks and food to choose from. One food option you definitely have to try is their grilled chicken sandwich! I don't know what they put in there, but the chicken isn't dry--it's super juicy, and it pairs perfectly with the pickled vegetables on the side. They also have seasonal drinks, which are always fun to explore. There's a ton of seating and plenty of outlets if you're planning on staying a while. Note: Parking is limited since it's mostly street parking, but there's a nearby parking garage that offers free parking.

Yelp
I was looking forward to trying this cute coffee shop after seeing it all over Instagram. The ambience is so aesthetic with the vw bus, you can even grab a table inside it if you are lucky! I didn't try their food so can't comment on that. But, they have a huge menu with sandwiches and bowls. I got their pistachio foam cold brew. It was pretty good. This seems like a great community space, they do lots of events from run clubs, yoga to bachata class. I might check out one of those next time!

Yelp
Food and drinks are good but grossly overpriced. We went here for Sunday brunch and it was pretty busy, a good sign that the quality is there. There was barely any seating but we were able to snag a table that was just cleaned and unoccupied. We got the strawberry matcha latte and maple pecan latte for drinks. We tried the Emerald City toast with fried egg and Triple J Melt. Portions are laughably small and we paid $50+ for 2 people and left hungry, something that I barely experience here in American where portions are usually on the larger side and I get stuffed easily. The strawberry matcha latte was tiny but I enjoyed the flavors of the drink. Maple pecan latte is decent - honestly was more like flavoring and we were not told that drinks had to be picked up ourselves so by the time we realized that, the latte was cold and the foam made the presentation look bad. The Emerald City toast was good but small. The amount of avocados is very stingy and the fried egg, at a $2.50 premium, was okay but overpriced. I can think of a few places with similar quality for cheaper. The Triple J Melt is quite small for $16.50. The amount of tri tip is quite little and I would need 2 of those to even be remotely full, and I don't even have a big appetite. I understand if the quality is very high but it felt like the standard quality (bread was a bit stale even) Overall, if you don't care about the prices, I recommend this place for the decent quality of food and drinks and the standout Volkswagen bus inside the store

Yelp
Amazing food and flavors, healthy ingredients, laid back environment, warm & friendly staff. We will be back!

Yelp
My first visit to Pacha - a friend & I scored the table inside the VW bus that sits center in the restaurant! Definitely a unique experience. Cheyenne took care of us- good natured & helpful. We shared the cheese board - beautifully presented and generously adorned. The fig spread, assortment of cheeses and strawberries were a winning combo.

Yelp
This is a super cute coffee shop and they have the aesthetics down. The shop is spacious and seems like a lot of people come to socialize and study. I came on a Saturday afternoon and they were pretty busy but it wasn't too difficult to find a seat. It's super cool that it is a coffee shop and bar so you can enjoy both in one space. The baristas were attentive and very friendly. I got to enjoy the matcha and amore toast which were both were tasty. It's great to see that they also host a lot of events in the community!
google avatar

Yelp
I underestimated how big this place was by the photos online. This is probably the largest coffee shop in North Seattle, providing a wide range of seating from bars to tables, indoors and outdoors. There is even one table inside the car and another by the fireplace. They turn on the heater on cold days and it becomes very cozy. There's a basic selection of coffee and pasteries with seasonal drinks, and plenty of food options to choose from. It can get so packed but the cozy environment is well worth it. Many people will come here to work during the weekdays and well into the evening. I feel that Retreat down the street caters to people socializing and looking for food, while Pacha caters significantly more to individuals looking for a good work environment. As long as your seat is along the wall, you'll have access to a charger. This place is perfect in every way.
google avatar

Nora J.

Yelp
Came on a Sunday morning and it was a bit packed but we're able to find a seat (order at the counter then get seated). My friend got the matcha latte and I got the chai latte and a cheddar biscuit (?). The matcha was really good, it wasn't too sweet. The chai was good but a bit too sweet for me. The cheddar biscuit had a good consistency but not a lot of cheddar flavor. The vibes here were super cute and there's a lot of space! I definitely want to come back here to get food and maybe a smoothie bowl!

Yelp
Great coffees, friendly staff, and open space with lots of seating. Van is very cute too. Walkable (3 min) to Greenlake path :) The seasonal specials mocha, bourbon maple cold foam on cold brew, and spiced pear honey latte were so good. Mocha (hot) was rich and flavorful and would get again! The bourbon maple cold foam was really good and I added extra to counter the cold brew sourness after. Spiced pear honey latte (hot) was similar to a gingerbread latte but still nice.

Yelp
What stood out immediately about Pacha was an old surfer van in the middle of their earthy minimalist/natural modern space. There was minimal staff while the shop was very busy on a Saturday at 2pm, so drinks churned out a bit slowly. I noticed the place started to slow to a more accommodable pace about 45 minutes later, but either way the staff remained chill. Everyone's drinks looked good. My matcha latte was good and my partner's old fashioned was pretty good. They used big ice cubes, so kudos for the extra effort. The vibe was very relaxed and fairly quiet. People enjoyed quiet catch ups or worked along the window counter. Overall, a lovely and inviting atmosphere.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place out ever since walking by and noticing a new cafe was opening in the neighborhood. Pacha is definitely giving Retreat (not too far from this cafe) a run for their money! Love the vibes in here! Feels very calming whereas Retreat I feel has lost that feeling over the last few years due to their popularity. I hope Pacha keeps its warmth and vibes going. I stopped in to do some work on a Wednesday midday around 1 pm and surprisingly the cafe was filled with people. I was lucky to find a spot though where I was able to people watch and enjoy my bevie. I got a matcha with nonfat milk and definitely enjoyed it! I love the ambience of the cafe as well. Looking forward to coming back to trying some of their smoothies/juices and food! I also love that the cafe hosts community events! Feels very warm and inviting in here

Yelp
If you haven't been to Pacha yet, you're really missing out!! Suggestion a cute vibe, the service is quick and friendly, and the food is outstanding. We got the breakfast bowl and the emerald city toast (on gluten free bread!) and were not disappointed! Perfectly portioned in my opinion. We also got some wellness shots and a couple matchas with oat milk. I wish I lived closer because this would be my go-to place. I will absolutely be back to try more, and possibly even to work, as it's a large, inviting space with great lighting.

Yelp
We happened to walk by Pacha Collective while we were in the area and it looked so cute we decided to stop in. It reminds me of a place that you'd find in Tulum or San Diego. A welcoming spot, especially during the colder seasons when we desperately could use an escape. We ordered a latte, a wellness shot, a fresh pressed juice, and the tri tip burrito to share. We loved everything we ordered. The wellness shot and juice were really refreshing and the burrito was perfect to split and came with a salsa and some sort of delicious crema sauce. My boyfriend's a bit of a coffee snob and he approved of his latte. I really appreciate that Pacha believe in working with small farms, using local ingredients, and sourcing organic as much as possible. According their website they also cook without refined sugar, are minimally processed, and use the highest quality ingredients. I'm not sure if they are seed-oil free as that seems to be a rarity when dining out but it would be amazing if they were. Looking forward to coming by again and exploring more of the menu! :)

Nancy R.

Yelp
We visited Pacha on Saturday and the ambiance was buzzing with friends reconnecting over brunch. The food quality was refreshing and recharging. If you're in the area and want a hearty/nutritious breakfast, I would highly recommend stopping by.
google avatar

Katherine Y.

Yelp
This coffee shop has a super aesthetic vibe, featuring a VW bus inside with seating and a table! The pastry selection is limited but solid, and the drinks are good. I wouldn't recommend the golden latte since it's pretty grainy. Service was standard to friendly. I've been here before and would definitely come back again!
google avatar

Diana C.

Yelp
The ambiance was lovely! It felt like hanging out in a freshly made 70's paradise with nice music and relaxed, friendly vibe. The juice was great and the server was helpful with suggestions and very patient with me while I determined what to get!

Yelp
Pacha is one of those rare spots that instantly feels like a reset button. The space is calm, grounding, and beautifully curated without being overly precious. You walk in and just exhale. We started with their marinated olives and spiced nuts--both super flavorful and perfect to snack on while soaking in the vibe. My friend had a latte (smooth, well-balanced, and creamy), and I went for the freshly squeezed watermelon + basil refresher -- honestly, my favorite part of the whole day. Bright, herby, super refreshing... I just wish the portion size was a bit bigger (ended up ordering two because one was not enough!). The vibe inside is warm and earthy, with this subtle, peaceful energy that makes you want to stay. And the coolest part? They've got a renovated mini van turned into a seating area right in the middle of the cafe. Such a fun, unexpected touch--it makes the space feel even more creative and inviting. Service was lovely -- warm, attentive, and laid-back in the best way. Whether you're looking to slow down, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy some thoughtfully made food and drinks, Pacha is a little gem. Already looking forward to going back

Yelp
Ambiance and restaurant is nice. Had waffles that were too dense and hard. Would rather have cooked this at home myself and guaranteed a good waffle with fruit.
google avatar

Vicki Z.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee spots recently. They have great coffee options, and I love the matcha lavender latte. The service is always super friendly, making it a welcoming place to hang out. It's a great spot for chatting and studying, but it can get a bit noisy at busy times. The large group tables make it perfect for meeting with friends. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
I have had the breakfast burrito here now a few times. I love it. I add the chicken sausage. The VW bus in the middle of the dining area is so much fun.
google avatar

Conor S.

Yelp
Had a very nice visit here with a friend. There was a little line but they had an open table. I got the breakfast sandwich and an Americano. The sandwich isn't huge but it's good and tasty. They have a vw bus in the middle and you can dine in there. Kids seem to love that. It's very relaxed and casual.
google avatar

Yelp
This tropical themed cafe has a never ending line when I visit and for a good reason. The interior has a wide variety of seating including a gutted van that you can sit in, lots of tropical plants, and an overall lively yet homie atmosphere. I ordered the breakfast burrito which was full of high quality ingredients and paired with a tasty dipping sauce, as well as an espresso roasted by Idle Hands which had a great balance of fruity and chocolaty notes. I regret not ordering more food or their fresh pressed juice, but just a great excuse to visit again. Overall the service was amazing, offerings were delicious, and it was worth the roughly 10 - 15 minute wait in line.
google avatar

Fumie W.

Yelp
i'm prettty sad the strawberry matcha did not live up to the hype. i had to ask for more strawberry syrup and it was still light.. the matcha was light as well. maybe they were in a rush as there was a long line on sat brunch. the interior is cute with the vintage car and decor. maybe the food is worth a try, my friend and i noticed more ppl eating the food rather than their drinks
google avatar

gina b.

Yelp
I've been here twice and both times were good. First time I sat at the bar and had the Emerald City Toast (avocado toast) and a chai tea latte. Both were delicious. The atmosphere was calm and friendly and I enjoyed relaxing at the bar with my brunch. The second time was a very busy Saturday afternoon. The place was loud and bustling. I thought I wouldn't find a place to sit but someone got up right after I ordered. I had visions of studying here but it was way too crazy and I didn't want to take up a needed table. I ordered the Triple J Melt (beef and cheese melt). The beef was tasty and I enjoyed the sandwich and the pickled vegetables on the side. My only complaint is that the menu mentioned a "house coffee date bbq sauce" that I was really looking forward too but it seemed non existent on the sandwich. I only tasted some Dijon mustard, for $16 I just expected it to include all the mentioned ingredients. That said, I will still come back to try other things, maybe ingredients won't be forgotten if I return on a day that's less busy.

Ty G.

Yelp
Try the summer salad. Lots of chicken and healthy greens. With two more strawberries it would have been perfect!
google avatar

Mena C.

Yelp
This place is fun. Looks like they have cool community events (I've seen dancing!!) and a good dinner / more substantial food menu too. Have only tried a chocolate croissant there which was OK. Pretty dry but I did like that it was strong dark chocolate! The drinks were so good. Miso caramel latte iced (so bomb, like more interesting salted caramel) and pistachio cold foam cold brew (strong cold brew!). Lots of seating - did not have trouble getting a seat on a week day afternoon. Which for greenlake is good!
google avatar

Rach C.

Yelp
Line was super long, but cute vibes. There were a lot of people but got lucky to get a spot. I would say the sandwich wasn't amazing and coffee too. I wouldn't wait that long for what it was. Bread was dry and coffee was mid- had better. Would only come for vibes, but not anything else
google avatar

Alice L.

Yelp
This place has been all over the reels and I thought I'd give it a try! It's in greenlake where the hotpot place used to be (next to the country dance place). Location couldn't be better. There's a huge space inside and a lot of two seaters and bar seats. The VW centerpiece seats probably 5-6 people? Seems like a good place for groups of friends to sit. It was really busy inside and the atmosphere is more social than coffeehouse-get-your-work-done. Menu is big and I tried an oat latte. The espresso shot pulled is a bit more sour than I usually like, but it wasn't bad.
google avatar

Cari L.

Yelp
Cute cafe near Greenlake with unique seating (there's a mini Volkswagen bus inside with a table that you can sit at!) and good WiFi for work/study. Chai lattes are well-spiced but a little on the sweet side. Breakfast sandwich has a nice fluffy egg and the chicken sausage tastes homemade. Didn't try any of their bowls but someone next to us had one and it looked HUGE. Prices are on the more expensive side but seems like the value is there.
google avatar

Phoebe C.

Yelp
A cute place to study, drink, eat and chat! The bus has seating and seems to be a very popular photo worthy spot. There is plenty of seating, but it does get busy on weekends. Also to keep in mind with busy hours, our food took 25-30 minutes to come. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that came with no chicken...but the staff was nice and they brought out a new order. Their matcha was not one of my favorites, but I liked the vibes here.
google avatar

Rebecca Q.

Yelp
The cutest indoor space of a cafe I've ever seen in Greenlake! Wide selection of offerings from wine to cocktails to meals to juice and pastries. Ordered a very refreshing watermelon juice, tropical tan, and sweet croissant roll. My one knock is that prices are a little high.
google avatar

Melody Y.

Yelp
Came here on a Friday afternoon and it was bustling. Lots of people working and grabbing lunch/coffee with friends. I give it a 4/5 because it was a lot louder than what I was hoping for, but I'll probably come back on an early weekday when it's not so busy. Food and drinks were amazing! I love lavender flavors and I found the lavender white kombucha to be light, floral, and refreshing. The spiced pear & honey latte had the perfect coffee to milk ratio, and was so cozy for a cold winter day. It tasted like nutmeg. My hubby got the verde visa green smoothie which was also super tasty. It's nutty and fruity, not super sweet, and you can tell it's made from all fresh and real ingredients. We shared a chicken sandwich. It was delicious and flavors were on point, with a side of pickled veggies. Overall, I'd like to come back for a working session or to grab a coffee with a girlfriend. The interior is super cute and comes with a little retro vehicle that also has seating inside.
google avatar

Kayla P.

Yelp
This cafe is so aesthetically pleasing and cozy! We ordered two 16oz iced sweetened matcha lattes ($6.80 each) and we were disappointed. Both drinks came in a cute glass jar but the matcha itself was underwhelming. It just tasted like milk. No matcha and no sweetener.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Great ambiance, decor, and seating. A little on the pricey side, but good portions and tasty salad options.

Aleksei T.

Yelp
The barista was great -- friendly and got the order right, though there were a couple of size mix-ups. We ordered a bagel with added salmon, but it already had a patty, and no one flagged it -- so we got a strange combo that didn't work. The space is beautiful, but the kitchen feels off. Flavors don't come together -- avocado was tasteless, the bun was overloaded with seeds, and the burrito was bland and too heavy on potatoes. Sauces helped, but overall, the food felt more like filler than something satisfying.
google avatar

Sahar B.

Yelp
Cute ambiance! We had the chicken sandwich and triple J melt, both were tasty and paired well with the pickled veggies. However, it took a full 30 min for our food to arrive, and we paid $40 (including tax and tip) for two sandwiches and still left quite hungry. I'd suggest they add a side salad or chips with the sandwich to give it more value for the price.
google avatar

Gaurav B.

Yelp
Location is perfect, right by green lake. The ambiance is amazing and some pretty interesting seating choices. Not the cheapest option around green lake but the coffee and bakery items were pretty top tier.
google avatar

Lynzette R.

Yelp
their menu has a lot of drink options and is filled with things I wanted to try! the atmosphere gives california and cozy vibes. good cafe if you're looking for a place to do some work or a spot to yap with friends. the breakfast burrito with lime crema has been living in my head rent-free. I will definitely be back, especially after a good run at greenlake!

Yelp
The staff was doing a great job handling the line that was out the door and down the sidewalk. The have online ordering "coming soon" which might help with the line that never stops. That being said, there is a reason there is such a line. The coffee was fantastic! They get their pastry selections from Sea Wolf and Macrina, so those are good. I daresay the Macrina items we got were better here (fresh) than at the Macrina location itself. This place is high quality eco conscious fresh to order. The menu is a little minimalist. Before we went, I couldn't decide if it was a coffee shop, a cafe, or a restuarant because they have coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails; but only a handful of items for each category. We had a breakfast bowl that had the best flavor, but I will say there was very little tofu in it. It was chocked full of rice and beans. It was very good, but as a personal preference, I don't prefer rice and beans for breakfast. The breakfast burrito was substantial. The breakfast sandwich, again, good flavorful ingredients, but more like a snack. The smoothie bowls were a decent size and a beautiful picture with the fruit poking out of the top like a bouquet of fruit flowers. The inside is bright and cute, and of course everybody wants to sit in the VW bus. It's not a huge indoor space, so seating fills up fast as the popularity only increases.

Yelp
Hey everyone whining about "the tables are too small!" and "my latte wasn't latte enough!" - you are why we can't have nice things. This place has been open only a few months. FFS people. Give them a chance! My friend and I had a magical experience here. We thought our grilled chicken sandwich was tasty, and the avocado toast was the bomb (also, maybe you don't need a serving size that could feed an entire family? Just saying). I loved my London Fog. It was perfectly balanced. But the best thing about this place is the way they're trying to service the community. Singles mingling, parent groups, running events - this cafe is the best thing to happen to Greenlake since they built the boathouse. 10/10 if you sit in the VW.

Yelp
$30 avocado toast and a van parked in the middle of the cafe. Ooohhh I feel like I'm in LA.
