Came in during lunch. We wanted to see how the burgers patty tastes to see if there is anything special in the way they prepare the Pattie since this is a BBQ place. Beware that when you look at the pricing you still have to pay for fries separate for $3 more and a drink for 3.29 that’s another $6.29 on top of the burger price that seemed reasonable until you include the $6.29. So a plain burger with no fanfare, plain fries and a drink is $18.28! I’m thinking this must be the most amazing burger on the planet for $18.28 one patty fries and a drink. Well with inflation these days it is pretty spot on. The patty was very big, perfectly cooked like a homemade BBQ grilled patty. This fills you up and the buns are perfectly flavored. The fries are a bit greasy, but what do you expect? I would have liked them more crispy but to each their own. The ambiance is great and the artwork is amazing. Growing up in downtown Phoenix I love the Pachuco vibe and artwork. This is definitely a stop I will do again and recommend. I will do another review when I try the BBQ next time.

Google
Everything I’ve ordered from here has been a perfect 10 and that’s a HUGE compliment considering that they have an extremely versatile menu. The staff is welcoming and generously familiarizes customers with everything they have to offer and happily answers questions. I love their condiment bar, offering limitless ways to further customize your order to your taste! The only downside is that the restaurant and parking lot alike are extremely small- but it’s worth squeezing in!

Google
Best bbq restaurant I've ever been. I'm puertorrican/ dominican.. But yet this people made the best mofongo I've had. The are so professional. Service was excellent.!!! I love the vibe. Cuban sandwich was different from cuban restaurants but I loved it. Sausage are great. I want to try everything on the menu. The only thing I didn't like was cheesecake. It tasted like supermarket cheesecake

Google
First time coming here and I’ll definitely be back! The sticky ribs were amazing and the Mac n cheese was perfect. Love the restaurant vibe as well. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!

Google
I would pass by this place everyday and it always caught my attention but I didn’t have the chance to come eat here, finally came and it’s a disappointment. The atmosphere and the service are alright but the food is terrible, the brisket was dry and tasted like it was from a couple of days ago, the coleslaw it’s just nasty and the hole menu it’s overpriced for the portions in my opinion, you can get better Bbq at HEB and for so much less.

Google
Freaking awesome brisket. The place is delicious and it’s all meat. Protein baby. Staff was awesome and friendly

Google
If you're looking for great food this is the place! The BBQ is GREAT, but that doesn't stop them from providing other great selections such as burgers, poutine, mofongo, tacos etc etc.

Google
*** Read the owner's responses to negative reviews. He is completely unprofessional. I can't believe he is still in business.***** I came in at 2pm, one hour before they closed. Ordered poutine ff. The last time I ordered the owner was in the building. This time he was not there. My order was awful. The ff were old and chewy, the brisket was tough with no flavor and these cheese curds were very cold causing my entire dish to be cold instantly. Last time this dish was absolutely delicious. I cannot believe the quality was this bad. Everyone says to support local. I will when the quality and service are there. We all own local businesses and have to suffer when we don't give the best service. I doubt I'll be back. Some of my friends said the restaurant has gone downhill. Now I completely agree.

Yelp
Everything about it was awesome. Small privately owned joint that had so many components. The brisket was so tender and juicy with a smokey crust on the top edge. The burger was so well cooked and huge. The fries were so well salted, crispy on the outside with a golden brown color, and soft once you bit into it. The ambiance was awesome. The music was lively and fit the grungy, punk vibe of the restaurant. The restaurant team was incredibly helpful and super fast. Overall, great service.
google avatar

Yelp
Small privately owned business that service up some really good BBQ options. You will not be disappointed, but know that if you stop in for lunch the dining area is a little small and fills up fast.

Yelp
Nice little Barbecue joint in Downtown Midland. Had the Brisket poutine and potato salad. Best potato salad I've had away from home. Also have a good selection of dessert items.
google avatar

Yelp
The brisket, in-house made sausage, pork pozole were all delicious. With great customer service and the exact environment for BBQ, I hope to come through again one day.

Yelp
Went with a coworker after he recommended this place. I had been to this location years before but under a different owner. Happy to say it is as good as it was then. Service: Order taker was helpful. Atmosphere: A simple cafeteria order and sit with out service style bbq joint. Food: I had sticky ribs. Which is a smoked the. Fried rib smothered in a sweet and spicy glaze. They were quite good. I felt the portion was pretty good. As a side, I had brisket fried rice. It was also pretty good. My coworker had the brisket. He said it was good. It looked moist. My only grief was they needed wet wipes for the ribs and a pitcher of water for self water refills. After seeing the line to order ( where I'd ask for water refill).

Yelp
Came to this little spot and was blown away with their menu options! There's something here for everyone. The PB&J burger was absolutely phenomenal, it hit all the notes- flavor, meat quality to toasted buttery buns. Tried the brisket out because there were lots of good reviews for the bbq. The brisket was dry and I wish they toasted the buns like they did for the burger. The Mac and cheese was ok. Fries are home style and were really good!

Yelp
When in Midland, this place is going to be a for sure stop for me on all of my business trips. Great food and great location! I enjoy my brisket, sausage and ribs!
google avatar

Brandon C.

Yelp
Great service, unfortunately they weren't serving their whole menu because it was a Sunday. I really only came to try the pork belly bao tacos. I instead ordered the brisket and coleslaw. It was the best brisket I've ever had! The coleslaw was underwhelming but it didn't even matter because the brisket was so great. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We were driving through and looking for something that wasn't fast food. We are so glad we found this place. Lots of food options and both kids and adults were happy. The poutine was delicious, fried pickles were tasty, and the banana pudding cheesecake was heavenly.
google avatar

Alex P.

Yelp
Had the brisket sandwich and brisket fried rice. Some of the best brisket I've had, both were delicious. The place is clean and service was friendly. Highly recommend it

Yelp
The Tex-Mex BBQ stands alone but the way they use it in fusion tacos and burgers takes it to a new level.

Yelp
Pachuco's in downtown Midland, TX is as good as it gets. I love the murals outside and inside. Everybody there is so nice. The vibes are right in this place. When you venture out to sell bbq in Texas you really gotta be on point and this place nails it. Something about the brisket is very original in the spice profile. All the food was well prepared. The tacos all have their own identity. The jalapeño sausage might be the best I've ever had... I'll let you know when I go back. Even the sweet tea had something to it that was all their own making. Bravo to the entire team there!
google avatar

Nathan L.

Yelp
Still the best food in Midland. When I'm in town I eat dinner there every night. Korean tacos: Amazing! Choices of sauces and toppings: really fun!

Tara G.

Yelp
Went to Pachuco's for lunch and ordered the Korean fries. The fries were good, the sauce was good, but the meat was terrible. The "marinated beef" was just little cubes of really over cooked meat and there was barely any. I wish there was more kimchi, carrots, scallions and cilantro. I do want to go back to Pachuco's but I probably wouldn't want to order the fries again.
google avatar

Sydney G.

Yelp
HOLY MOLY... First, let me preface this by saying, overall satisfaction from a BBQ joint can be difficult. Either the meat is good but sides don't quite hit, or vise versa. For me personally, the perfect BBQ restaurant is excellent all around... and this place was excellent all around! The meats were delicious and sides were incredible! (And if I had to guess I'd say the toast was French Brioche , a very nice and tasty touch). Sauce and condiment bar was nice as well, with yummy house made sauces. Only thing we didn't try was dessert (but we will ) Overall, I knew the hype was high for this place, but was still blown away when I finally tried for myself! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Favorite spot in Midland to date. Bbq, Burgers, Tacos & Korean all beautifully tied in here. So many options you'll have to come various times to get a good sampling. And how cute is that tiny bao pork taco? It's one of the rare spots where EVERYTHING is sooooo freakin good you'll have a hard time deciding. Food comes out freshly cooked so be patient. Worth the wait 1000% & not a long wait by any means. It's an order at the front type restaurant then they bring it out. They have a fully stocked salsa bar complete with endless pickled onions which immediately won me over as a pickled onion lover. So far the poutine fries are my absolute favorite. I JUST had them yesterday and my mouth is already watering thinking about them. I'll definitely get them again. Also tried both the cherry and peach desserts not in pics bc we had to let some time pass to have room and went ahead to the grocery for pints of ice cream to enjoy with the cobblers. I prefer the tart in the cherry to peach but both great. The bbq is delicious! All of it. Sides: I liked the potato salad more than the Mac n cheese but I like my noodles more firm and my sauce cheesiest. Just personal preference. The creamy hominy was decent probably not something I'll get again but a great tasty option for a vegetarian if you have one of those oddities in your group ;) The bf went without me (gasp!) one day and had burgers with his friend and says they were fantastic and he is definitely getting them again. Now to make my list for the next visit... decisions decisions...

Yelp
Now I'm a huge fan of the prior establishment that used to be here so with that out of the way, we had to give Pachuco's a shot. The inside was awesome. The art, tables, lights, everything was perfect. The Extensive menu was easy to navigate and the front of the house was more than happy to explain any questions we had. We decided on the brisket and Turkey plates. Each plate comes with 1/2 pound of meat, a generous side, and a piece of Texas toast all for $10 a plate. The brisket was the best I've had in Midland/Odessa. And the Pachuco BBQ sauce? I want to brush my teeth with it. The Turkey was seasoned and tender, and the potato salad was very unique. Like a cream cheese base maybe? We also had the Bao pork belly bun which was tasty, but the Bao was dry in itself. The Korean Taco was unreal. Big and flavorful. Had a great heat kick to it. Can't wait to go back to try the poutine, ribs and the many other offers they have!

Jenny H.

Yelp
Excellent food choices. Delicious food. Service was great and fast. Food was fresh and tasty. Poutine and sticky ribs are a must have and we will be back for more!

Monte L.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch last week while headed to Arizona. Absolutely worth the stop! I went with my typical barbecue choice - sliced brisket and jalapeno cheddar sausage. The brisket was tender, juicy and had a great bark! The smoked sausage had great flavor, too! For a side, I went with something that was unusual for a BBQ joint - fried rice. Yes, they had brisket fried rice. I couldn't pass that up. It was an excellent choice! If you're in the neighborhood, you should definitely stop by Pachuco's!
google avatar

Brett M.

Yelp
My favorite lunch spot to visit while in Midland. Their tacos are amazing and so are all their sides.
google avatar

Adam T.

Yelp
Got the Cuban because I have a hard time passing up a Cuban even though the reviews said get a burger. Gotta say this was a fantastic Cuban. Possibly the best I've ever had.
google avatar

Kennith F.

Yelp
Really welcoming staff and excellent food. The Mac and cheese was creamy and the smoked turkey was amazing! I will definitely make sure to visit this charming establishment when I return to Midland.

Kathleen H.

Yelp
Our first time there was amazing! And meant to be as we wanted to try a new BBQ place and first two were shut down or not open. So, choosing you paid off. We have already been there twice. And will definitely go again and again!

Roger

Yelp
We eat regularly at Pachuco's with great experiences but I scheduled to pickup our Christmas Eve Dinner and they did not let me down! Everything was ready on time, they provided everything and more than they needed to, helped to load it all even though they had a huge crowd of folks with the same idea as me. All the time with cheerful holiday greetings, humor, and cheerfulness.
google avatar

Robert M.

Yelp
This placed shocked me! The food and everything is amazing! The sides are amazing. The sauces are amazing! The freaking toast is amazing.

J B.

Yelp
Delicious food. Got the sloppy Juan and was not disappointed. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Friendly staff and a nice environment.

Richie E.

Yelp
Just amazing food. Wish I would have found this place as soon as I got here I swear I would have eaten it every day. Eclectic menu, top notch quality ingredients and amazing flavor combos. The bbq looks amazing But I was BBQ'd out. Keep up the good work y'all.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was amazing! I had first tried their food truck when it had first opened. So, I've been a fan ever since. I moved back home to Houston and recently came back to midland for business and the only place I missed (food wise) was this place! I got the quesadilla with brisket. The brisket was packed in there and I paired it with the pickled onions like the cashier suggested! It was the bomb. My husband got the a burger and the sticky sweet ribs. Holy moly those ribs were so crispy on the outside and then tender inside. I loved the decor inside and mural on the wall as you walk in. Overall the best place is in at in Midland.
google avatar

Frank A.

Yelp
Went back to try it out and this time we tried the burgers. I was very pleased and thankful I did. The pachuco patty melt was fantastic and the frac was more food than I anticipated. The Jeff'd seemed like a food challenge when we saw it and sadly was not able to finish it. I got to try them all and was satisfied with the flavors and taste. Cook was on point with all our food. The staff was great and friendly just like last time. It was pretty chill for a Saturday evening but happy to see that hopefully soon they will be able to serve alcohol as per the notices posted outside on the window. I didn't get to try the sausage links but can't wait to try them next time since they are made in store.
google avatar

Adriana N.

Yelp
Thank you to the staff there for guiding us as 1st timers. Love the art work and relation to the Chicano culture. Food absolutely delicious!!! 10/10
google avatar

Tanner G.

Yelp
I'm still sitting in the restaurant and I want to cry because these sticky ribs might be the best thing I've ever had. The pork belly bao is amazing too. Amazing top quality food. Only reason I won't be back tomorrow is because they are closed Edit*** this banana pudding cheesecake just made emotional again! Best dessert I've put in my mouth
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
The food is good, they have a good condiment bar, which you don't really see anymore so I like that. Fresh cut onions, pickles, cherry peppers, jalapeño peppers, banana peppers and more on that bar. Looking forward to going back and trying some other items off their menu.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
This place is brand new so was super busy with a steady stream of people coming in to try it out! I went about 1pm for lunch, the wait in line to order was about 20 min and wait time for the food after I ordered was about 20 min. I ordered 2 pork belly bao buns. The pork belly was crispy but the buns looked like they had been grilled or fried in oil and were super soggy. All the toppings and fixin's are self serve. I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw those 2 sad lil buns but felt better after I hit the condiment bar which has a great selection of toppings. I'll definitely give them a try again since I was only able to order one thing off the menu this time. They have several Korean-fusion items I'd be interested in trying next time!

Yelp
We drove past this place on our way back to our hotel yesterday, and decided to eat here before we drove back home after a short 16-hour stay in Midland. The ambiance, other Yelp reviews, and pictures were enticing. We were not disappointed with the service and our meal. My husband & I tried the Korean taco, the pork belly bao bun, and two quesa tacos. Our son had a burger and fries, and loved the fries so much he wanted another order of them. We would highly recommend this place to anyone due to its unique atmosphere and even more innovative & delicious eats.

Jenn O.

Yelp
We both got a patty melt and shared the poutine fries with brisket. We ended the meal with their banana pudding cheese cake. Everything we ordered was great! Burgers were yummy, and I loved the added bacon. The fries were amazing and stayed crunchy even with the gravy they were smothered in on them. The cheese cake was the perfect ending. Staff were friendly. Even with us wearing our Amarillo High football shirts on, they wished us a good game! I highly recommend this eatery.
google avatar

Eddy B.

Yelp
Fantastic food!! Love it and want to go back ASAP! Burgers and BBQ was awesome! Multiple options for a wide variety of palates
google avatar

Carly D.

Yelp
Pachucos was awesome!!!! The food was amazing, everything that was ordered was so good. Mouthwatering and so good. The service was excellent as well. they made good recommendations and kept us upkeeped the entire time, although you do order yourself. The ambiance wasn't terrible, tables were kept clean, a little hole in the wall so can't expect much. definitely will be going back.
google avatar

Kasey S.

Yelp
Overall really good food! I didn't realize that they closed at 7 so when we showed up at 6:20pm I was thankful they still served us. The staff was very friendly. There was a little bit of a wait for the food but I just snacked on the jalapeño pickles they had on the fixin station and they ended up being one of my favorite things we had. We ordered the jalapeño sausage, hatch Mac, Korean taco and the LUCHADOR burger. My husbands favorite thing was the burger which was really good. It was spicy and sweet. The taco was full of flavor but the meat was chewy. I want to try it again not at the end of the day. The jalapeño sausage was good. Overall the food was really good and we will be going back to try some other yummy items.

Todd G.

Yelp
Brisket was good. Ribs needed more attention. Charro beans and mac and cheese were good.
google avatar

Desiree L.

Yelp
Sorry for no picture but this place was the bomb. Had the peanut butter jalepeno jelly burger and it was fireeeeee 10/10
google avatar

Marie K.

Yelp
Ate here today and had the pork belly bao and Korean taco and they were so flavorful and perfect! My husband had The Luchador burger and fries and that was bursting with flavor as well! Definitely will be going back! This place is downtown but does have its own parking lot! Oh and the homemade pickles and bbq sauce were excellent too!!
google avatar

Katelyn W.

Yelp
Do you have lunch on your mind? Stop by Pachuco's to have some delicious chopped pork and chopped beef. If you're feeling a little adventurous try their Korean Taco and Pork Belly Bao. The flavor is spot on and this is one of the few places I know of where you can get a Korean bbq dish in Midland. This restaurant was once a food truck and I can see why they have grown so much. Hands down some of the best bbq you can get in midland. So happy I got to try this place and show some support.
google avatar

Johana L.

Yelp
Tried them for the first time today! Walking in it feels like you're not in midland. The art and decor make this place one of a kind. Loved every part of it. The menu is has a lot to offer, especially when you haven't tried anything yet it gives you so many options that it's hard to choose something lol. I tried the sticky ribs and they had a good kick with a subtle sweetness they fell apart at the bone. My husband tried the bbq which was delicious. My favorite part was the combination of texas/Mexican/asian you could see in the restaurant. The food was awesome, service was friendly and we had plenty leftovers. Will be visiting again very soon !
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Food is absolutely amazing and probably one of the best varieties you can find in a menu at a BBQ spot. You can't go wrong from the BBQ to the tacos to the sides and the deserts, all of it is good. I struggled so bad to make a choice i had to get one of every taco. Each one was packed full of flavor and distinct to its taste. The brisket is a definite hit tender and great seasoning. ALSO the bbq loaded elote hell ya. Overall if you haven't been here you definitely need to visit or you're missing out.
google avatar

Jesus V.

Yelp
Small restaurant with tight parking space. Busy during lunch time but the service is quick and no major line to order food. The brisket and ribs are nothing special. I was hoping to get great juicy flavorful brisket and great ribs but not here or today. Brisket is a bit dry with no great flavor and ribs are full of pepper but again, no great flavor. They took my hunger away but not my satisfaction of great ribs and brisket.
google avatar

Brent F.

Yelp
Ok lets get real!!! This place just opened so look past any minor things. Now let get to the reason we go out to eat #1 for the food. This place has a variety of different food so no matter the cravings of the family they can find something here. I have personally tried a koren taco, sticky ribs, brisket, brisket taco and rhe pork belly. All great!!! Would like to see more pork belly opinions. #2 service. Well this is also great. The entire team is helpful and welcoming. Very accommodating. Now remember there are a few of them to a packed house so be patient their hearts are in it but cant always be as personable as they want. Go early for the best experience!!! Keep up the great work, well be visiting you all for years to come.
google avatar

Kent S.

Yelp
We stopped by on a road trip. Man! I wish they had this where I live. Got the brisket poutine and the Korean fries. Both were top notch. Brisket was beautifully smokey and fall apart tender. The gravy was full of wonderful, rich, umami flavor. The cheese curds were the real thing. The Korean fries were also well balanced with all the right flavors. In top of all that, they were very friendly and attentive. Definitely make a point of coming here! If I am ever near Midland, this will be my first stop.
google avatar

Jesus P.

Yelp
This place was awesome! Sherry was super nice and the lady that took our order was super sweet as well. The food is amazing. I had a patty melt that tasted delicious. My friend had the peanut butter/jelly/bacon burger. Although it doesn't sound too good it's actually their #1 seller. Even my buddy claimed it is the best burger he's ever had. That will be my next choice when we make it back here. Highly recommend this place. Atmosphere is very laid back and the food is worth the stop. We will def be coming back!
google avatar

Dwayne H.

Yelp
Very good! Busy and full but service and food was excellent. Will do again. Brisket Plate
