Tried the Barramundi Sea Bass with Asian Herb Chimichurri with Kimchi Fried Rice and Sesame Green Beans as veggie sides. Loved every bit of it. The waitress was so kind and professional. She did not even look at the card machine while swiping to avoid seeing the tip amount. That is classy and professional behaviour right there. Also, it must be one of my costliest dinner ever at $39 including tips and taxes. Definitely recommended 👍🏾 Visited on 20.11.2025 Reviewed on 25.11.2025

Went for lunch with two co-workers. We were seated inside right away. The staff were nice and attentive. I'm a Pacific Catch rewards member, and I received a message stating that you could have a free shareable if you let your server know. We decided to have the Coconut Shrimp for the shareable, which was very good! We also enjoyed eating the Japanese Wasabi Original Ahi Poke bowl. Here's some of the selections that I've had in the past at various Pacific Catch restaurants that I really liked. Seabass Skewers, Baja Shrimp Ceviche, Guaca-Poke, Grilled Asparagus, Sushi Rolls, Miso Black Cod, Lobster Roll, Taco Plater, Fish and Chips, Kanpachi, Chocolate Lava cake, Pineapple Right Side Up cake, Hula Brownie Sundae. Had lunch with three colleagues today, and although we were walk-ins, we were seated right away. Our server was good, and the Luau Bowl, three of us ordered, was really good and filling. It consisted of Kalua Pork, Ahi Tuna Poke, Mac Salad, Stir-fry vegetables, Teriyaki Sauce, and Sushi Rice. For lunch it was a lot of food.

Pacific catch in Santa Clara was an awesome experience overall. The atmosphere gives off a beach vibe that is well organized and clean. The services were professional and welcoming overall; however, there could be a wait time getting served depending on how busy it is. They offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options; the cusines were well presented, and the ingredients were fresh with excellent quality. This is definitely a recommended spot if you're in the Santa Clara, California area.

Google
Great food, service, and atmosphere. I had the sea bass with a side of Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. A gentleman, who might have been the owner, checked in with us about the food and kindly opened the door for us on our way out. A really thoughtful touch that made the experience even better.

Google
We were passing through and decided to stop here for a mid afternoon meal. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious. COD, shrimp, bass, in a taco with fresh slaw and some salsa that was fresh. The Serrano pile had a kick to it if you know what I mean. SPICY…..if you like spicy then order that combo ;) the steak taco was super tender and scrumptious. The environment was calm and collected when we arrived however upon our departure the place was getting busier. We would totally go back if we happen to be near Santa Clara again!!!!

Google
The reservation process for our party of 16 was smooth, and our server was outstanding! very attentive, friendly, and the food and drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, the experience was significantly impacted by the hostess. I was the first to arrive, and she was extremely rude from the start. Despite multiple empty tables, she seated another group directly next to our large party and refused, very abruptly, to move them even when both our party and the other guests asked. Those tables remained empty the entire visit. Her attitude created a very negative first impression and overshadowed an otherwise great service experience. I hope management addresses this issue, as the rest of the staff was wonderful.

Google
The rolls and breakfast style sliders were so good. The thai tea has the perfect level of sugar. The service was the sweetest! We went with friends and had a good time here.

Google
Great food! Wish they would add oysters to their menu. You can always count on fresh, high-quality seafood here. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Yelp
Overall, this is a great spot for either a casual meal or a business lunch/dinner. The menu leans toward seafood and Japanese-inspired dishes, with plenty of healthy options that are also very satisfying. Prices are reasonable, and every time I've visited, both the food and service have been consistently excellent. I especially enjoyed the West Coast Salmon Bowl -- a generous portion with fresh salad, brown rice, and a light, healthy dressing. Their tacos are also worth trying, packed with flavor. Try taco trio, salads, and rice bowls!!

Yelp
I really liked that we could sit outside, it gets quite loud inside some of these restaurants and it's hard to actually conversate. Also the fresh air was really lovely. The portions were very generous and smelled great. I was a tiny bit disappointed because I ordered earl gray tea and they brought me chamomile so I was sleepy not awake :-) But all in all, it was nice

Yelp
I'm not happy with my dine in experience on August 4 for lunch because the server tried to scam me! I was there to redeem the "birthday bowl" reward and ordered an appetizer called white tiger, which is scallop ceviche with purple sewwt potatochips. It is part of their "savor the summer" menu. The price for it was $17.95 When I got the bill, it was much higher than I thought after they took out the price for the birthday bowl. The server was pushing me to swipe my card, but I asked the question on how they calculated the price. He brought me the printed bill that showed the highest amount they pay for the birthday bowl was $22.95 which is not clearly stated in their advertisement. If they did say it, I apologized that I missed it. The funny part of that was there was a 3% surcharge on the bill that I have never seen it before. Again, I asked the question for the server to explain it to me on what it was. He couldn't and said "you have never seen it before?" I said, no, I haven't seen it. Then he said, I could take it out. Huh?????!!!! Are you saying that you just added that because you feel like to, or because you dont like ppl redeeming their bday reward because you would get less tips so you just add whatever you want there and hope ppl wouldn't notice it?!?!?! What is this?!?!?!?! My server also didn't even check on me once after he took my order. And add to the not good at all customer service experience, the"white tiger" ceviche is a disaster! No taste at all, just chunks of dead white chunks of scallops swimming in sorry looking watery creamy white sauces!

Yelp
I've only gotten this restaurant delivered before. It's actually so good in person! All the seafood options are very cool to see. The grilled kanpachi and chimichurri are very good, the broccolini is all right, and i really enjoyed the flavor Brussels sprouts. But the star for me was the skirt steak! It's a bit sweet, has a lot of beef flavor, juicy, and very tender without needing to be cut more. I liked the poke as well, with chips and guac. The service is fine, with our drink orders taken and served quite fast. They waited to take our food orders but I'm guessing someone in my party let them know we were still waiting on someone. I was missing a plate and the waiter got me one without me asking. The decor is very nice as well! Makes it feel high end, but not super dark like most fancy restaurants. The wooden structures and lights were quite unique. And a nice leaf display! We had a super long table for our large party.

Yelp
would SO recommend this place!! i've been to this restaurant at a few different locations and it is delicious every time!!! this time around, i tried the summer sea bass and it was one of my favorite things i've gotten at Pacific Catch! We also got the calamari and poke guac for appetizers which are always yummy. our party of 10 came in about an hour before close - which i know wasn't the most ideal, but the staff did a fast and amazing job of serving us! We were out only a few minutes after close. Our server was so friendly, pleasant, and helpful. shortly after we ordered, he came out to let us know they were one sea bass short and we got it sorted out right away no problem. The service was nothing but great, right along with the food. If you are nearby a location, this place is a must try!!!

Yelp
I can't get over how good every Pacific Catch location is--and this one might actually be our favorite in the Bay Area! We still have one or two more to visit before giving a final verdict, but this location definitely stands out. At the Dublin location, I had signed up for their rewards program, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free bowl for my birthday in June! Since my mother-in-law's birthday is also in June, I had her sign up too so we could celebrate our birthdays together. When we arrived, we asked our server if it would be okay to use both of our Free Birthday Bowl rewards. After checking with the manager, they said it was totally fine as long as we split the check--which we were happy to do. We also ordered appetizers and another entrée for a friend who joined us, so we weren't just there for the free food. We ordered a ceviche with sweet potato chips--I can't find the name on their website right now, but it was honestly the best thing I've had in a long time. I even attached a picture in case anyone wants to try it out! We also had the guacamole and chips and a sushi roll as starters. Everything was delicious. The only small note is that their guacamole could use more veggies. A traditional Mexican guacamole is basically a pico de gallo with avocado, and this one was mostly just avocado. Still tasty, though! My mother-in-law and I both had the Mexican Grill Bowl, and we agreed that everything was perfectly seasoned and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Our friend had the Hawaiian Teriyaki Bowl, which also looked amazing. Service was great overall. The server did get a bit busy during the dinner rush and didn't come by for a while after we finished eating, but he was clearly doing his best--no complaints here. We'll definitely be coming back for more of their delicious food!

Yelp
Pacific Catch was the first restaurant we visit during our visit to Santa Clara. We were able to catch happy hour for their $9 cocktails. For appetizers we got the crispy shrimp & california roll. Both items were tasty, I had no complaints. Hubby & I split the lobster roll entree, and also ordered a side of sesame green beans. Those were some of best green beans I've had at a restaurant. They were tossed in a garlic butter sesame sauce, and I loved them. My only complaint with this restaurant is that they had a cluster of black flies roaming non stop around the bar. We have those in Arizona, but I have never seen them lurking around a bar like that. I hope they get pest control to figure that out ASAP! Otherwise, the restaurant was clean, and the food/service was good.

Yelp
I've been coming here since they opened and decided it was finally time to do a review. The food is always pretty good and consistent. I also appreciate that they have vegetarian options. My favorite is the teriyaki bowl, sub for tofu. They also have a good happy hour. Their drinks are pretty good too, but not as consistent. I like the vibes here and they have a nice patio, although it is a little tight. They are pet-friendly though so bring your furry friend! Service is very inconsistent and that is kinda the downfall. When Michelle is there, we have great service. Other servers are friendly too but I think that they can be a little understaffed and service can take awhile. I look forward to coming back and seeing improvements.

Yelp
Food: Dry, overpriced $33 Lobster roll. Tasted like it was a few days old, tough, straight out of the freezer. If you look at my picture you can see how dry it is. Service: Our waiter forgot about us halfway into service. My party of 10 waited for 15 minutes after eating for the bill. Ambiance: Loud and bustling. I think management doesn't care about food or service because of all the business from office workers here.

Yelp
A great spot for Californian inspired food in San Jose. I've got to 2 locations and each time enjoyed my meal. On my most recent trip with colleauges, I ordered the salmon burger and salad. The burger was huge and salmon cooked and seasoned well. I loved my salad dressing which had strong ginger flavors. I'll come back here again on my next work trip for a filling and healthy meal.

Yelp
We went here for family dinner on a Friday, and it was busy, but not too crowded. We made a reservation on OpenTable in advance, which is always helpful to ensure that you won't be waiting too long. Finding parking in the plaza was a bit of a challenge, but there is a garage as an option. We came during the last hour of happy hour, and we actually ordered exclusively from that menu because the happy hour menu includes Appetizers as well as foods from the entrée portion of the menu. We got two sampler platters, one with poke and ceviche, as well as tortilla chips and wonton chips, and the other with Hawaiian appetizers. The poke was in smaller portions than we expected, but it ended up being a good amount of food with the other items we ordered, which included ribs, brussels sprouts, and fish tacos. The ambience was great. The patio outdoors had such a good, upbeat, vibe, and we even were able to bring our dog in order from the pup menu for her. She really enjoyed her carrots and rice. Our waitress was lovely, and was very easy to order with. The food itself was very high-quality, as seafood should be. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and decently portioned. I will definitely be back for happy hour, and there were a ton of things on the menu For regular dining hours that I would also love to try, including the bowls.

Yelp
I was here for a catered event and realized there weren't any veggie options. The staff when above and beyond making sure I got something off the menu! Their salmon bowl looked so good and they suggested I sub it for tofu. And it did not disappoint. It was one of the best flavorful seasoned bowls I've had in a long time.

Yelp
Back at pacific catch for aloha fridays! Better service this time and chill vibes per usual. Got a couple of mai tais which are on the sweeter side but delicious. Will be back to an aloha friday crawl.

Yelp
We have never dined in at this location so this review is purely on take out. This location is convenient for us to pick up as we are usually around the area before we head home. It's easy to place an order and you receive notification when the food is ready for pick up. So far, the few times we did a pick up, the food was not bad. Also, the last pick up we did included my Birthday reward which covered most of my meal. I ordered the Ahi Chirashi Trio Bowl, which is $27.50, but my Birthday reward is $22.95 so I only had a pay a little more. The original poke was pretty good as well as the sesame ahi tataki, but the original serrano poke is pretty spicy. Comes with seaweed, spicy cucumber banchan, and sushi rice. The sushi rice was a mushy, but the rest is good. The to go bags are usually nicely packed in a sturdy bag with utensils and napkins. The only complaint is there are no front parking ever so I usually have to the back to find parking. It would be nice if there are spots for pick up only.

Yelp
This was my first time at Pacific Catch and I was pleasantly surprised by how well balanced the food was. However, my first visit was spoiled by the contaminated food. And it was pure luck that I didn't injury my mouth. I ordered the 3 Fish Taco Platter and found a small piece of hard plastic about the same color-tone as the fish. And I'm very sure that it wasn't microplastics. I also asked for mixed but received all crispy. And I chose not to have them remake it. The fish itself could've been more crispy. The salad was just okay. And the elote was great to pair alongside beans (complete protein). They did compensate our elote but I feel like they should've taken my entree off the bill since that was the item in question.

Yelp
Another Happy Hour dinner tonight at PC. We sat at the bar. The service was wonderful and attentive! Coconut Shrimp (5/5). My wife really liked this dish and she doesn't like coconut shavings. We got our favorite of the Sticky Ribs and original ahi poke.
google avatar

Gustavo G.

Yelp
The dishes were great, the service was good and the restaurant felt very open and inviting. Visiting the area and wasn't sure if it was a chain or not. We had the Wagyu cheeseburger, the fish tacos, the Mexican shrimp bowl and the Japanese wasabi bowl. We all loved our dishes and there was plenty of food.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and gave great info about menu. Food was delicious ... sushi rolls & hand rolls were a perfect start to the meal. Chicken Hawaiian Teriyaki bowl was 10/10... beautiful presentation as well!! Cocktails were very balanced and delic!!! Was very clean and cute inside and outside ... would recommend

Yelp
First time trying the ahi avocado with their house made chips. I know it's considered an "appetizer" or stater, but I personally felt it was pretty small for the price. The chips were a little thicker and harder and I would prefer it to be thinner and crispier. This is their claim to fame considering they advertise this as their "house made chips". The fish was pretty fresh, but the serving of fish to avocado ratio was small. If you're planning on sharing this as a stater, I would recommend to get at least 2 to split. Parking at this location is alittle tough as the few spaces right in front are far and few so you might have to park towards the main parking lot at the Whole Foods side and walk over.
google avatar

Andrea T.

Yelp
I ordered the small West Coast salmon bowl for lunch and was pleased with it. I appreciate how Pacific Catch has so many balanced meals on their menu. I came with my coworkers and everyone's plate looked so beautiful and healthy with all the greens! To top it off, the interior of the restaurant is bright and nicely decorated. A minor complaint that I have is that when we sat down, there were crumbs all over the seat. Other than that, I am looking forward to coming back to Pacific Catch.

Yelp
Laura was a great host and the food was delish. My 3 kiddos enjoyed their entres. Was fresh and clean.

Yelp
After spotting this restaurant near my hotel and researching the menu online, I opted to place a sushi order to go. I settled on an order of edamame, and two specialty rolls - shrimp tempura and firecracker salmon! While waiting at the bar for my order, I sipped on the No-jito - their take on a Mojito with fresh mint and lime, which was extremely refreshing! The bartender, although busy, was friendly enough and made my drink in flash. Within about 20 minutes, my order was ready, and I was off to indulge! The rolls were gorgeous in presentation, fresh and absolutely delicious! YUM! The only downsides: Parking is an absolute nightmare. Being an outdoor shopping area surrounded by businesses and apartments with their own private parking and towing signs all around, parking is sparce as a MF. I circled the lot 25 times before securing a spot. So be prepared to have patience or walk. I was only given a few packets of soy sauce, and no little Ramakan to put it in, which made it awkward to eat the way I like. I was able to Macgyver something which ultimately soaked up all the soy sauce leaving me a little bummed, but still tasted great nonetheless. If in the area again, I'd stop in!
google avatar

Vanny K.

Yelp
Great food, fresh and tasty, especially the Korean Skirt Steak which was cooked to perfection! We went to the one in Cupertino. There were plenty of parking.
google avatar

Rose L.

Yelp
Good but skimpy portions for what you pay for. Sometimes the special instructions are hit or miss too, as they sometimes don't give tartar sauce for calamari. I paid $4 extra dollars for the mash potatoes and crab and they gave two pinches of crab meat. Other than that, staff are friendly!
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
This was my second time here, and I think it's great that they have a lot of options and also make accommodations for people with health conditions/allergies. The waiter was really attentive and provided my party all the sauces they asked, and for my Japanese Wasabi poke salad, they gladly replaced the wasabi vinaigrette with a tasty miso sauce. I liked how the cucumbers in my salad were marinated, so my salad was not bland at all. It was actually flavorful. I would have liked a little bit more fish, but it was still greater than what I'm offered at other restaurants. It was lively inside and it's a bit more on the slightly fancier end. The price was a little high, but this is a nice place to take someone for a business meeting.
google avatar

Erin G.

Yelp
Service was good and drinks/ food came out quickly.. the halibut dish I had with mashed potatoes and miso broccolini was amazing ! Will be coming back for that alone ! The restaurant nice and we were able to get sat on a Thursday night fast. Pricing was up there but that's most restaurants these days

Yelp
Pacific Catch has personally been a go-to option for dining when it comes to tasty, well-prepared and presented meal options in an attractive restaurant environment. Their menu offers something for everyone (even the fish-adverse!) to enjoy that will be satisfying. I have attended more than several meals here for work, and I want to highlight how exceptional working with the Dining Room & Catering manager has been in coordinating large party meals. You want to work with Chuy - he goes above and beyond to set and meet expectations for your party needs. The best part? He's so easy to work with in a restaurant that already delivers quality on all fronts. Will definitely continue to return!

Yelp
Celebrated hubby's 70th BD at lunch. Day before signed up on their website, hubby got BD reward for free bowl, and we used it today. Also received reward for free shareable (appetizer) but could not combine that with the BD reward. BD boy had the West Coast Style/Grilled Salmon bowl and I had the Japanese Wasabi/ Original Ahi Poke bowl - we both enjoyed them. Also ordered the fried calamari appetizer. And then he got a complimentary BD dessert on top of that - brownie sundae and they even sang Happy Birthday! It was the perfect BD lunch! We will come here again! I had only been to the one at the Pruneyard. Didn't even know this one was here in Santa Clara! Mario, our server, was excellent as well.

Yelp
We came during their Happy Hour (choose 3 items from their Street Food Summer Menu and get 1 free) this time and enjoyed all the food that we ordered. All items were delicious 5/5 stars. Highly recommend their spicy sea bass ($11.50), hot fish ($10.95), classic ceviche ($9.95), and spicy scallop ($10.95). Their watermelon agua fresca ($5.50) was delicious as well. Service from the main server during this visit was not very informative of their happy hour deal (he gave wrong information twice) and was not as friendly as other staff from prior experiences. Service 3/5 stars. The interior and ambiance was great as there weren't many people dining in during our meal and we were seated in a spacious booth. Overall, we had a great time!

Yelp
I love Pacific Catch. I've been to several locations several times, including Santa Clara. What keeps me coming back is the great food, and friendly service. Today (Thurs., 6/12) I placed a pickup order for the first time, and I was pretty surprised at the rude behavior from the girl at the front when I arrived for order at 1:45 pm. She was acting like I was forcing her to be there. I don't know what kind of day she was having, but that was uncomfortable to experience, and doesn't make me want to come back to that location, especially when I drove through 30 minutes of traffic to buy food from this restaurant. Food was great as usual, even for it being takeout, but the unpleasant interaction I had with this person overshadows that.
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
FOOD was yummy. I had the surf n turf. They have happy hour 3-6pm. Food came out quite fast. I was here on a Thursday for lunch at 11:45am and didn't have to wait to sit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes. Parking can be tough but it's in an outdoor shopping plaza. People are coming and going constantly.

Yelp
Super impressed by Pacific Catch, and here's why! We were a group of 20, made my reservation in advance, no issues - in fact it was easy to work with their team on figuring out best option for our group of 20, the team was very responsive. Like most restaurants, they have an online system and it texts you to confirm/reconfirm - LOVE THAT - makes it so easy and not an issue worrying about the "did I confirm?". We are VERY lucky we work across the street, so we walked. Parking is a nightmare in this shopping center and at 5:45 it was mayhem. Our table was not quite ready but it was a very short wait and we were early, so no issues there. The restaurant was PACKED, every visible table was full plus our large group of 20. I am not going to lie, I was worried service was going to be compromised. NOT AT ALL. I am so impressed at how well they operated during this incredibly busy night. Our group received our starters fast, we received our drinks right away. We were able to get our entrees selected easily and they arrived in record time. I was so impressed at how quickly we were served. The food - amazing - HUGE portions, honestly the value for what you get is awesome here. You could easily take home leftovers and have another meal (at least). Quality of the fish - amazing, so fresh and lots of options. Three choices for fresh catch and lots of delicious sides. The bowls are amazing! Fresh, delicious food served by an amazing staff. Shout out to Chuy and Mario - Chuy was our event coordinator and Mario was our server. He was so attentive, took great care of our group and was patient, kind - everything you would want for your group after a very long day of sessions. Really pleased with our night here and looking forward to our next event for sure!

Yelp
Very nice and clean restaurant. Very friendly and efficient service. You probably want to park in the garage across the street because parking in the square is futile. We've been here multiple times because they have good healthy food at reasonable prices. We got the West Coast salmon bowl which had really good fish and vegetables. The brown rice was perfectly cooked. The tacos were also really good. I got the fried fish and the chicken and steak grilled tacos. They were all delicious. The miso side salad is mediocre so you may want to choose another side.
google avatar

Paulie S.

Yelp
Ordered the fish and chips to go, I recommend this but if you want salt/pepper, catsup for the fries, malt vinegar for the fish, mayonnaise. Ask because it apparently does not come with a to go order.
google avatar

Yelp
Came to Pacific Catch for a happy hour event with my colleagues. Amazing food and service, happy hour prices were also reasonable. We tried both their happy hour platters and got their lemongrass mojito pitchers, and I highly recommend. Their outside seating also has a small fire pit and the vibe was really nice. We all ended up staying later and ordered dinner too. Everyone loved their tacos and my lobster roll was great.

Yelp
We had reservations and was seated quickly. Server was nice and food came out pretty quick. It was a week day lunch and I ordered the shrimp bowl. Will order it again.
google avatar

Ella T.

Yelp
Service was super fast and the inside was so pretty. I came in here for a quick bite and that's what I got. However the food was just ok. I feel like everything was very plain for a big price. We orders drinks that were 90% ice as well. Overall this place is nice but too much $$ for the quality of food.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and the food was fantastic. We got a pupu platter to share and it had everything in it like ribs, salmon sushi, and coconut shrimp. I like that the coconut shrimp had tons of coconut shreds coating it. The poke was decent but I was looking for more umami. I love the sashimi because the fish was so fresh. The nojito had tons of lime in it which was what I like. It may make some people puker up though. The location may be hard to find parking but is so nice in the restaurant. I would come back.

Yelp
This experience was on April 11th, but I still cannot stop thinking about how horrendously we were treated during our visit. I am going to preface this by saying, I came to this restaurant based on a coworkers recommendation. He said he loves this location over the Campbell location, because of both the area and the better service. Great! I was treating my parents who just moved from Hawaii to San Jose. I was a fine dining server for 5 years as well so I really appreciate good service. I was so excited for this reservation I spent the day before looking at pictures and already pre planning my order (I'm sure other foodies can relate). The host was great! He was laughing and joking with my group. Our reservation was at 3:30PM on a Friday, I knew this meant happy hour on the patio and it was a beautiful day. Not to mention beating the dinner rush. Our server, Francisco, came to take our drink orders. My dad made a joke that he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt so he gets a discounted maitai (it's on the menu) mind you my dad is 70, and he likes making dad jokes. The server was annoyed at this and grabs the host and he's like what is it about the shirt? He gets a free drink or what? The host told him about the special when people wear aloha shirts during happy hour. My dad says sorry because for some reason the server was offended. We then order drinks, I order the tropical tea not realizing it's just unsweetened black tea. When he comes back I ask the server if I got the correct tea, and he goes "well it's the only tea I got." I say do you mind if I just switch for an Arnold Palmer? I wasn't aware it wasn't sweetened, sorry. He says he'll just bring a side of lemonade. Mind you, am I supposed to chug half the unsweetened tea I didn't want in the first place and add the lemonade? But since he had so much attitude about me wanting to change drinks I said ok that's fine. I guess it doesn't matter cause he never came back with the lemonade. He was busy showing the bartender videos on his phone, we were literally seated next the bar window and could see him the whole time. I would like to mention the two tables outside with us were already packing their boxes, the rest of the area was empty because it was early. Only one other table came during our visit. Our server is clearly just not in a good mood. That's fine, we are looking forward to the food. I order the pupu platter that's on the happy hour menu, which is a sampler platter for their apps. He says with SO much attitude, we're out of that. I say really? But happy hour just started.. and dinner hasn't even happened yet and you're out? Are you sure? He says yeah they've been out two hours ago. I say ok, I'm sorry what is out? Because the pupu platter consists of almost all the appetizers available, may I know what is out so I can order what is available? He goes let me check, and storms off. He comes back and says yeah we have it, that's what you want? I say oh good because I was looking forward to trying it, Yes thank you. At this point we are still giving the restaurant a chance. We order our main dishes, we spend over $200 on appetizers and our main courses. The runner gave us our food and the place is empty, our server didn't check in to see if the food was ok or correct or if we needed anything, he's just kicking it in plain sight behind the bar. He even had the audacity to catch me looking at him and says "you good??". I'm really at the point where I feel like I need to speak to manager, but he seemed already agitated throughout our whole experience that I did not want to trigger a scene. At the end he eventually comes and says "you done??" and takes plates, my parents are elderly and the way that he was speaking to them, unwarranted, baffles me. I mention to him that he never came back with the cup of lemonade I was supposed to mix into my tea and he told me he removed it off the bill along with another drink. I tipped 20% because as I said I've been a server for over 5 years, I tip well automatically. But I was seething as I left, so disappointed that this was my first time taking my parents out to eat in the San Jose area and had the worst experience. They even said they didn't know why he was so mad at our table. Francisco (the server), honestly my best guess I can have for the terrible service was that you're a bar tender who was forced to take tables so you didn't feel the need to provide ANY service. OR you were forced to stay after your lunch shift to take our table so you were annoyed? That's my best guess. Two stars because at least the food was good, I would have ordered poke to-go if I wasn't so offended by the service.

Yelp
Santa Clara resident. Looking for a healthy dinner option on a Wednesday's evening decided to take wifey to Pacific Catch for the first time. Located in the Santa Clara Shopping center, parking can be tight at times though we got lucky and found a spot right across the corner. This reminds me of a small version of San Jose Santana Row. Checked in and got a warm welcome by the hosts and we were seated. i was intrigued by the pictures and the lighted LED of the restaurant. Pretty noble a concept!! Got to the table and were served for the evening by Esmeralda who was very welcoming, friendly and definitely helped us get through the menu and select what we liked. Big shoutout to her! We ordered a one starters which was the coconut shrimp. Coconut was an absolute hit and nothing was left behind on the platter beyond the leaf that carried the shrimp :). For our main course we ordered the west coast bowl with chicken bowl for the wife and my order was the trio fish platter. The food was served in a prompt fashion (no delays whatsoever -pretty amazing to our liking since we wanted to do a quick in and out) and we got going the moment the platters were on the table. Perfectly done rice with just the right amounts of kimchi. Already looking forward to our next trip down there and enjoying some more of that nice, fresh Pacific Catch!!!

Yelp
Came by as I wanted to have something lighter and thought initially it was a full blown sushi place. This is more Americanized sushi place. So it was my fault in not researching enough. The location is clean and roomy. Staff were friendly. But I wouldn't come for sushi. But rather confirm the menu and see if u want to come for the fusion fare they offer. The qualify of the food I got was average. Not bad but not great either.

Yelp
First time at this Pacific Catch location in Santa Clara was for a dinner with the Accounting Team and the auditors on Thursday, April 4, 2024. Venue: 4 stars. Located in the Santa Clara Square, there is plenty of parking for patrons. The brightly lit restaurant, decorated in hues of natural wood and splashes of blue, appeared to be very clean. Even the ladies' restroom was well kept, but the handicap stall could have used a replenishment of toilet paper. Food & Drinks: 1 star. Mostly everyone seemed to enjoy the food and drinks. My Baja Cod & Baja Shrimp tacos were good and generous in portions, but I enjoy them more when they are crispier. I was not really a fan of my Caramelized Piña Colada, I drank only about one-third of the cocktail. My coworker friend, Jason, ordered the Mixed Seafood Grill and found a metal wire in his fish. This is the reason behind lowering my rating for this category to a single star. Service: 1 star. We arrived pretty much on time for our 4:30 PM reservation and were seated immediately to our table that was ready & prepared for our party of about 15 persons. Our waitress was very polite, friendly and informative which was great. What was not so great was that the restaurant offered to comp only the two beers that Jason ordered or give him a free dessert for the metal wire found in the fish of his plate. Seriously?!?! He could have hurt himself badly. Is Pacific Catch THAT cheap that they couldn't comp his ENTREE?? What a major fail, thus the 1-star rating for service. Will I return? Not by choice. Finding anything metal in your food is pretty frightening. The way that Pacific Catch handled the issue was just as scary.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Service was friendly & accommodating when we needed to change our outdoor seating due to rain. The beer served was very good. The outdoor area was private from the public eye & relaxing. Prices were fair.

Yelp
wow! I loved this restaurant and I think it's going to be one of my tops! Their restaurant is so affordable, aesthetic, and high quality. We ordered so many dishes and all the dishes were so amazing. I'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
The location is really busy area. The food is a fusion. The firecracker Salmon roll was not up to my taste. So much rice with siracha mayonnaise sauce that lost the salmon taste. The WC west coast Salmon was ok. Nothing better than Sweet Green franchise. Don't think this place is worth for the money to spend....

Yelp
Joseph our server took such great care of us and gave us great recommendations for the ceviche pokey sampler, and for our main course, which was a sampler as well. He even gave us all the sauces on the side. The restaurant itself had a good vibe and was super clean. I love the interior design. It had tulum vibes. we had a great conversation with her waiter Joseph and definitely recommend giving him a visit behind the bar!

Yelp
Came here for aloha hour and had a fabulous time. The food was excellent! We ordered a bunch of items to share. The guaca poke and chip stood out with its unique combination and food texture. Can't help munching on those house made tortilla chips as they were so good, crunchy, crispy and fresh. Just watch out the hard shell might poke your gums so eat carefully. Pork belly sliders were bite-sized and tasty, the marinated pork was full of flavors. POG mocktail of pineapple and guava juice was refreshing, not too sweet. Everything was delicious. A big shout-out to our awesome waitstaff. They were all amazing, attentive and accommodating. One of them was so nice that she gave some chips in a to-go bag to my son to take with his poke leftover. That was so sweet and thoughtful! They asked about the feedback and checked on us a few times. Thanks guys for making our happy hour relaxing with yummy food and drink. Outdoor patio has side screens that offer shades, but for some reasons, it was windy and a bit chilly. Table space was a bit tight. Cozy comfortable atmosphere. Beautiful ceiling decorations with bamboo panels and lighting. We really enjoyed our time in this location. Will hopefully return to try other dishes.

Yelp
My daughter treated us to dinner at this place tonight, and it was wonderful! Not sure why we haven't come here sooner, but definitely glad we did and will be back very soon to try more things! One thing I liked as I stepped inside was how clean and well decorated the place was. We were seated immediately and brought water. I chose the double rainbow sushi bowl and it came out beautifully plated. A colorful and very generous meal! The fish was fresh, and the crab salad was yummy! Best of all, since I've been eating healthy these past few months, I loved that there were many healthy options on the menu to choose from. And if you aren't watching your weight, lots of sinful fried foods too! Something for everyone!
