We tried Pacific Catch and overall had a really good experience. We started with calamari and eggplant as appetizers, and both were excellent the calamari especially stood out. For the main, we had the sea bass. The flavor was good, though the portion felt a bit small for the price. The food overall was tasty and well-prepared, just a little on the pricey side. Service was great, friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was enjoyable, comfortable, and inviting.

Per their website, “Pacific Catch is a West Coast Fish House dedicated to delivering high quality sustainable seafood.” The site also mentions that their diverse menu is served with Aloha-inspired hospitality which we personally experienced from our attentive server, Lexi, who went above and beyond. She enhanced our overall dining experience…give that woman a raise! I’ve enjoyed takeout from Pacific Catch on a few occasions in the past and it’s always been a delicious and healthier alternative. This was my first visit to their physical location in the Tustin Marketplace and I was impressed with the aesthetics of their restaurant interior which also included a destination patio and an open-air cocktail bar. We started with their calamari appetizer and my choice of entree was the Barramundi Sea Bass, Asian Herb Chimichurri style. Customers get their choice of two sides and I opted for the grilled asparagus and kimchi fried rice. The entire meal was and continues to be fresh, healthy and nutritious!

My wife and I generally enjoyed our first experience at Pacific Catch with friends, but our second visit has definitely locked it in as a favorite. The atmosphere inside is very fitting for the type of restaurant it is, but on both occasions the service can be a little slow (much better the second time though!) The plates are very full, and you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. It's not quite "caught-off-the-boat-this-morning" fresh, but the restaurant is much more upscale than those types of restaurants typically are. All of the fish entrees and styles we've tried are delicious and well-portioned, but I'd say the highlight is the kimchi fried rice. It's worth ordering just by itself, but make sure you at least get it as a side. The sticky ribs were a new try for us, and they were a great starter. Over all, this is absolutely a restaurant to look for if you're looking for light, refreshing, and upscale without breaking the bank too much.

Google
I really enjoy Pacific Catch, the seafood is always fresh and absolutely delicious. The salmon plate was a standout: perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Definitely planning to come back.

I went here for a friend's birthday and we had a good time. The food was tasty. Our server was nice. She got our friend a yummy birthday dessert at the end which was a chocolate lava cake with a vanilla scoop on the side to balance the sweetness. * Calamari 4/5 - The fried squid was good with a spicy kick and nice side dipping sauce. * Taco 5/5 - The beef taco was full of flavor and the meat was tender. The shrimp taco also had good flavor. I didn't want the black beans, so they were sweet and let me substitute them for brussel sprouts instead. The other side I picked was sweet potato fries which were good and had generous portion. * Guaca-Poke 4.5/5 - The guacamole was tasty with a good amount of citrus. The ahi poke was good but there was not a lot of it.

Google
Felt like we in Kona on the big island. Super fresh tasty shareable bites. Good happy hour deals. Try the puppy platter. Recommend getting the sea bass skewers.

Google
Great service, great food. I love the ambiance. I ordered the fish and steak tacos, both were delicious. I loved the chile lime fries. The blood orange margarita was ok- too much salt for in the drink from the rim. My bf got the mixed platter and enjoyed it. He liked the Apple old fashioned as well. We both loved the sticky ribs although they are very strong soy/salty flavor, I would have liked it to be more balanced. Service was fast and friendly. I’d come again.

Google
First time visit due to seeing lots of good reviews. Visited weekend and waited about 40 minutes without reservation. The server was friendly and we sat outside. The food are so delicious. The ingredients for the salad were fresh and the fishes were moist. We ordered five items and all of them tasted good. Will definite came back. They have lunch menu for $15 for 5 items which are decent. Give it a try when you are in the area

Yelp
Matt was our bartender and server and he was exceptional. Great meal and drinks. Food was excellent and drinks were sublime. Highly recommended!

Yelp
My first time here and Mathew made us feel welcome. Great drinks, service and food. The bar is where it's at.

Yelp
I attended my every Tuesday at Pacific Catch, but tonight was even better! Sarah Elaine was great, service was excellent!! BTW, the food was delicious as always!

Yelp
Had the opportunity to check out Pacific Catch for the first time and absolutely loved it! I always saw their location in Campbell, San Jose and know they partner with Monterey Bay Aquarium for ethically sourced food. With their modern aesthetic and seafood options, it makes you feel like you are transported to a coastal beach. We started off with their Guac Poke which was the perfect appetizer, the right amount of poke with the guac and chips. Definitely a must! For my entree, I had to go with their classic fish and chips which were decent. Enjoyed their cole slaw a lot, it doesn't taste like your average coleslaw, it has sesame in it! My girlfriend got their miso salmon which was amazing. The furikake on the rice was the perfect touch and the green beans also surprised me with miso flavor which I liked a lot. Our waitress Sianna was amazing! She gave us so many recommendations and told us her favorites. It was so hard to make a decision for food but she guided us in the right way. Thank you Sianna and Pacific Catch, will come back for that Miso salmon again.

Yelp
Huge shoutout to my amazing bartenders Brittany and Matt, along with server Viviana. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Brittany and Matt gave great drink recommendations and made the experience at the bar fun and relaxed. They are passionate about their craft and take pride in every drink and every interaction. They all truly made my night, and I will definitely be back!

Our first time at PC with friends. Our server Matt made some really great recommendations and we loved every one of them! The drinks were delish Bri made them perfectly- lychee luaus for the table :) Bummed I didn't take pictures but everything was outstanding!!! Thanks Matt and Bri we will definitely be back!! Appetizers we got the crispy coconut shrimp and the California roll and added yellowtail!! Great recommendation by Matt we ordered a second it was that good!!!! Dinner we ordered West coast style bowl with salmon, The lobster roll, off the grill the Miso black Cod and the Kanoachi and added the lobster tail!! Great presentation very colorful and every bite was better than the last!!! Can't wait to go back

Yelp
Very cute restaurant! I have the shrimp tacos 9/10 so good and actually a very good portion. I couldn't finish it all because of how big the tacos were. Also love that they offer sweet potato fries. The alcohol drinks were okay, not as sweet as I prefer but honestly not horrible. Look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Love the food, but the cocktails are inconsistent. One of my friends ordered a watermelon margarita and it looked so good I ordered one too. Mine came out lighter in color and taste. Seemed water-down. The food on the other hand turned out delicious all around. I got the West Coast salmon bowl with roasted cauliflower, wild rice, quinoa, cucumbers, avocado and a radish salad. It came with a cilantro dressing that was the perfect sauce to blend everything together. It was so good and hearty. I had half leftover for the next day but I took a few more bites when I got home. My friends enjoyed their order of fish tacos and fish and chips too.

Yelp
Back again! We chose Pacific Catch to celebrate my mom's birthday this year. It was so easy to make a reservation through open table, parking is a breeze with their large lot nearby. Their huge menu offered something for everyone. We enjoyed new seasonal appetizers as well as our usual "go-to's" including their fish tacos, fish and chips, and bowls. We love the freshness, flavor, and ambiance of Pacific Catch. Highly recommended for any occasion!

Yelp
A decent spot for seafood in the Irvine/Tustin area with good happy hour deals. There's plenty of parking outside of the restaurant. They have both indoor and covered outdoor seating available. They have weekday happy hour deals as well as various promotions that happen every month. The service is a little bit on the slower side, but everyone that works there is friendly. The pupu platter was great for sharing. The Chilean sea bass skewers had really good flavor and were cooked well. I always love their coconut shrimp here. It's perfectly crispy and they use really large juicy shrimp. The poke bowl comes in a very large portion. It came to the table about 25min after the rest of the entrees that we ordered, but still tasted good with a generous amount of fish.

Yelp
Our 5-star bartender/server, Sarah, is a great ambassador for Pacific Catch; she has been personable, professional, willing to create cocktails upon request (which were quite delicious!), and SO appreciatively patient and accommodating (when dealing with members of our group arriving at different times), and impressively, with such positivity -- especially handling the bar (and the restaurant) solo (why doesn't she have assistance??)! Given only 1 bartender, one can understand why service would be slower; however, Sarah confidently addressed/solved concerns of those wanting to take advantage of their Aloha Hour during my recent visits. My Grilled Salmon bowl ($23.95) was generous in size, attractive in presentation, and tasty; hubby wasn't too impressed with his order of Grilled Chicken bowl ($21.95). We both (surprisingly) enjoyed the Sticky Ribs ($16.50) off the Share Plates menu. Fun, light-&-airy atmosphere, especially at the bar top, bar area, and outside.

Yelp
We came here to grab a quick lunch and we had an awesome experience! We were greeted quickly and we chose to sit outside because it was a nice day out! There outside makes you feel inside and outside at the same time which is so nice! My husband got an old fashioned and I got a margarita and both were delicious! Our waiter was polite and attentive! For food, I got the ahi tuna poke bowl and my husband got the salmon burger and both were delicious as well! The aesthetic of this restaurant is so nice! We are hoping to come back!

Yelp
Came here to try out their happy and it was pretty good. They have it Mon-Friday from 3-6pm. We got the fish, shrimp, and steak tacos. The fish and shrimp tacos were fried but there was a little too much batter for my liking. The steak taco was my favorite out of all of them. As for the raw fish, we got the poke and ceviche trio and the spicy tuna roll. The fish tasted fresh in each dish. We also got the thai brussels, herb garlic eggplant, pork belly sliders. The veggie sides were surprisingly some of my favorite dishes on the menu. The way that cooked and seasoned them were perfect.

Yelp
I've seen this place in passing while coming to the Tustin Market place to shop, and finally I got to dine here for the first time. We didn't have a reservation on that Saturday evening, but they were kind enough to accomodate our party of four since it was fairly early and not too crowded yet. Decent size interior with plenty of tables and a warm tropical vibe. Our server was hustling at her busy section, so it took a bit for her to get to us. Nonetheless, she was apologetic when she came to finally greet us and take our food and order (all good). With so many options to choose from. My sister and her boyfriend decided with the Grilled Salmon Bowl and Original Ahi Poke Bowl, which were massive portions. They both enjoyed, and even had leftovers to take home. My husband and I shared the Mixed Catch Platter (equally huge), and he also got a single hand roll (of some sort) as well. Washed it all down with a Mango Cart Wheat Ale (not pictured), because I drank it too fast...LOL. Needless to say it was refreshing and we enjoyed our dinner here together! I'll have to come here again to try their happy hour next time! CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

Yelp
We had a great experience! We made it just in time for happy hour. Since happy hour was ending 10 minutes after we were seated, the server was kind enough to take our orders to make it in on time. We decided to try the Pou Pou Platter because it sounded like a great combo and a good deal! Between the sampler platter and the brussel sprouts, we both had enough to eat! We could have probably ordered one more appetizer to share but we were by no means hungry after all the food. The coconut shrimp was very tasty and the dipping sauce was delish. We enjoyed the poke guac and chips the best. Next time we will order just a bigger portion of the poke guac because we ran out of chips and they were the best! We both weren't very excited about the pork belly sliders but since everything else on the platter sounded good we thought we would try them. I personally never like pork unless it's cooked to perfection. My piece was very fatty and chewy. Some people like that but it's not my style. I also wasn't a fan of the sea bass skewer, it was way too fishy for me. My husband, on the other hand, really liked the skewer so he has mine and I had the last coconut shrimp. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. She took very good care of us! We will definitely be back here again soon!

Yelp
We returned for a second visit on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was packed! I wanted to try something different so I ordered the Sashimi Hand Roll Salmon and the Miso Black Cod. Food quality was just as fresh and consistent as our last visit. I also tried the Soy-Ginger Chilean Sea Bass, but I still prefer the black cod. I washed my meal down with a refreshing POG. Rebecca was our server this time around and she was just as friendly and attentive as Lexi. Memorable dining experiences...2 for 2!!

Yelp
I decided to try out Pacific Catch again one day since I got a free bowl reward from the app. I got the West Coast bowl with shrimp to-go and sadly did not enjoy it. The shrimp was extremely salty (had to spit it out) and the flavors in the bowl were severely lacking- there was no sauce or anything! The greens were dry, the cauliflower was unseasoned... It felt like torture with every bite. I sadly think I got the wrong item- but the West Coast bowl used to be good!

Yelp
I never knew about this place until I suddenly had a random craving for a lobster roll! It's tucked way in the corner near Snooze. parking is super easy and we walked in on a Saturday around noon and had no wait! The interior is super spacious and was kinda Hawaiian themed. Service was very nice and the food came out very fast! We got the lobster roll with chili lime fries and the pork belly sliders! We also got a side of the chile-miso broccolini. I love broccolini but this broccolini had no flavor and did not taste of miso at all. It was also on the tougher side as they used some older broccolini with bigger stems. The food was great overall and my lobster rolls cravings were satisfied without me needing to drive out to a coastal city c: I'll be coming back but I'll pass on the broccolini

Yelp
Another wonderful seafood family meal at Pacific Catch. My salmon was fresh and cooked with salt and pepper to perfection. Brussels sprouts and Kim chi fried rice were also excellent. Our server was extremely nice and helpful with the birthday celebration. Ambiance was casual and cozy, simply perfect for a family meal.

Yelp
We placed an online order here last night for dinner and were very disappointed by the quality of the food. We woke up in the middle of the night with stomach cramps and one of us threw up. We both had to use the bathroom numerous times, and we are still not feeling well despite having to go to work this morning. For the bowl we got, my friend subbed shrimp instead of salmon and she said the shrimp was overly salty and bitter. The bowl was lacked sauce and flavor, it was definitely not worth the hefty price of $24. The calamari was sliced so thin that you were mostly eating batter instead of meat. There were many pieces that were so small and thin you couldn't even tell whether there was meat inside. My baja taco was soggy, and the steak taco barely had any steak in it, it was primarily cabbage. The grilled chilean sea bass taco was the best tasting item we got out of everything. On top of all that, the black beans were missing from my 3 taco platter. The quality of the food has severely declined since the last time we went to this location. They also got rid of the a la carte tacos, forcing you to choose a 2 or 3 taco platter (very greedy of them). We used to be big fans of this place, but we certainly won't be returning after this awful experience.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate the birthday of one of the sweetest Attorneys ever, Magdalena! We enjoyed our drinks and meals. I ordered the limited time "Summer Salmon" and it was sooo good. We also ordered the California Roll and Firecracker Salmon Roll. Both were surprisingly good. The Pineapple Right Side Up Cake was 10/10! Brown butter cake, caramelized grilled pineapple, whipped cream, caramel sauce and vanilla gelato. It was so moist and delicious. The ambiance is super cute. Excellent service! Highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again!!

Yelp
Great food and great service. A bit on the pricier side for what it is but still great tasting food. Higher end CA fish grill. Came to celebrate a bday and had great seating outside, they do allow dogs in the patio area.

Yelp
A family friendly seafood restaurant at the Marketplace, next to Snooze A.M. Eatery. Our waiter was very friendly, and the interior was spacious and inviting. The surf and turf was delicious. Enjoyed the skirt steak with chimichurri and well seasoned lobster with Hawaiian rolls. The miso black cod was good but as expected flavor-wise. The kids enjoyed kids steak rice bowl and California roll. Will definitely visit again and try other seafood dishes.

Yelp
I was greeted by the host and was able to choose where to sit: between inside dining, bar area, or outside. Although a little warm, I chose to sit outside. Very kind host (didn't catch her name). I did let her know it was mine and my friend's first time here. She was so sweet; she shared with me the details and information of what their popular dishes were, as well as their poplars drinks, which items were their summer specials and what was new on the menu for the summer. She also mentioned whenever I chose to sit, happy hour still applied so that's a bonus. Our server Alyssa came by and took mine and my friend's order for beverages first, as my friend and I were still debating what to order from their Aloha Happy hour. Menu. We decided on the drinks: Mai Tai, Agave Margarita, & their new summer drink Watermelon Margarita. I asked for a tajin rim. All of them were delicious. She did mention they are a bit strong to which they were. The alcohol didn't override the drinks deliciousness. She also mentioned that other restaurant establishments normally serve 1.5 oz of their alcohol in their drinks but here Pacific Catch they serve 2.0 oz, which makes it a bit stronger. All the drinks they served were yummy! We also had orders form their aloha happy hour (BTW are between hours 3:00PM - 6:00PM): The Guaca-poke share plate, the Baja Shrimp Ceviche share plate, and my friend had ordered one Spicy Sriracha Grilled steak taco & I had ordered three Baja Style Crispy Cod tacos. Omggg all of the flavors bursted through every single bite. All the dishes come with tortilla chips, so easy wisely haha. They are addicting and the perfect crunch with every meal. We were so content and full. We found our new happy hour spot. This place also serve Tacos, Burgers, Sushi, and a little more. Check out the menu. We had arrive around 4:15/4:30PM and it wasn't too crowded yet. But about closer to 6PM, the place was poppin! All the happy chatter and such, it was nice to see. Alyssa, our server, was so sweet, amazing personality and knew her stuff! She also recommended some of her favorites which we did try. She made our first time very enjoyable. I cannot wait to come back! Also this establishment is big enough for large parties. They also have a take out area. There's a stand outside that directs where to pick up the orders.

Yelp
Had the best time at Pacific Catch! Thank you to our server, Lexi! She was so amazing and kind. Took great care of us! The vibe of the place was so nice and chill. The indoor decor has you feeling you were in an upscale beach house! The food was so so good! i recommend everything I took photos of that's forsure but definitely the scallop seviche! it's new on the menu and I loved it. The steak was cooked to perfection as well. So excited to go back and try more dishes!

Yelp
Pacific catch is one of my favorite restaurants in Tustin!! I come here constantly and I'm met with the best service and most delicious food every time I'm here! I love love love the Mexican Bowl and I sub steak instead of shrimp. I also love their ceviche and margaritas! I always have the best experiences with Matt, Vivi, Britt, and the best food runner ever, Nate. I'm gluten free and they're always so helpful and accommodating. They make me want to keep coming back every time!

Yelp
My review is primarily for the HH, stopped by over the weekend to try their happy hour. They have a weekend HH from 3-5pm (while weekday goes to 6pm) I ordered the Pupu Platter, Poke Ceviche platter along with a side of coconut shrimp and wife really wanted to try the fish and chips. Pupu platter was very average. The pork belly sliders were so so, sea bass skewers were bland. Guac poke was okay. Coconut shrimp was really good. Poke Ceviche platter was better. Fish and chips were really good since my wife didn't even save me a bite. I wouldn't get the garlic egg plant dish. I wish there was a 1/2 star. Pacific Catch is more of a 3.5.
google avatar

Courtney T.

Yelp
Pupu plate was my favorite! - pork belly sliders 9/10. - fish skewers 9/10. Flavorful - coconut shrimp: 10/10. - guac & poke: 8.5/10 - pickles: 8/10. Fish and chips: 7/10. I personally think the fish itself could be seasoned. The bottom of the fish was a bit soggy. But what made the dish was their tartare sauce. Fries okay. Cole slaw is a hit or miss, this was a miss. Icecream: it was grainy. I would definitely come back again to try other dishes because their rice bowls were good I enjoyed the Brussel sprouts! Service was good. Manager was helping the servers. 10/10 on his part. Thank you!

Yelp
Mathew and Brittney were incredible this afternoon. The food matched the service. I'll definitely be back! Yummm

Steve H.

Yelp
Pros: Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive wait service. Cons: mediocre food You always know it's not going to be awesome when the fried calamari comes out fast, white and with only a mayo-based dipping sauce. The main course was just ok and the portions were small.
google avatar

Yelp
My friends and I went there for dinner on Sunday and it wasn't too crowded. We were able to be seated right away. It's a brand new remodeled location, so the decor feels clean and fresh. They have a very light and airy Baja California inspired interior style. I liked their cute seagrass pendant lights everywhere and the high ceilings. Our server was great and very accommodating, as my friend needed to modify her meal. I ordered an appetizer ahi poke and calamari for the table. Everyone was happy with their meal. We were celebrating our friend's birthday, so our server let her choose the dessert. Our server really made our experience enjoyable, along with the delicious meal. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
Went here for the first time with my parents. It's the 3rd time they have been there is 8 days. Their favorite server,Lexi, recognized them when we walked in. A nice warm greeting for sure. We requested to sit in her section. The booths are roomy and comfortable. My step-dad said this was a Black Angus in a past life. The remodel is very nice. Open high ceilings. A nice vibe. Lunch is busier than dinner per my parents. My step-dad raved about the sliders so I had to order them. I shared the pupu platter with my mother. It had the sliders, fish skewers, coconut shrimp and guac/poke with tortilla chips. Perfect! Ample free parking. Not sure which day but if you wear a hawaiian shirt, you can get a discount. Also they have great happy hours.

Yelp
Matthew was awesome! He suggested which starter and entrees were good and they were delicious The calamari wasn't rubbery like some places, the clams were fresh and sweet, and the fish was grilled perfectly.

Yelp
First time here for lunch and the ambience inside along with the decor was so nice! It felt like we were by the beach. Our server, Matt, was fantastic! We had great a conversation with him and appreciated his time to make recommendations. His service was top notch and it made our experience memorable. The food was great and fresh! Barramundi Sea Bass Platter with Brussels sprouts and fries, steamed clams, and calamari were all chefs kiss! Looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
I had a great experience at Pacific Catch in Irvine! I ordered the Mexican Shrimp Bowl and the Shark Fin drink -- both were absolutely delicious. The bowl was packed with flavor and it was a really big plate The drink was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. The inside is nice there's a lot of seating . The staff was very friendly and attentive . They are located in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking. Will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
I ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer to go online. The ordering process was simple and pickup was easy. There were 7 pieces of shrimp in my order. Unfortunately i found it to be a bit salty for my liking. The sauce that came with was perfect but the shrimp themselves were on the salty end. I do want to come back to try some entrees. The inside of the restaurant looked clean.

Yelp
We found out about Pacific Catch through a Life Rolls On surf event they sponsored--glad we followed up! Made a reservation on OpenTable, got seated right away, our waiter was friendly and everything came out fast and tasty. Started with the calamari--crispy, a little spicy, and the aioli hit just right. Solid 8/10. Tried the surf and turf next. Steak was flavorful and cooked well; chimichurri made it even better. Lobster was a little dry, but the mashed potatoes and broccolini made up for it. Overall: 7/10. The Pupu Platter was the star--poke, guac, coconut shrimp, fish sliders, and fish skewers. Flavor-packed all around. Winner 9/10 We'll definitely be back for round two.

Yelp
Our family loves pacific catch! There isnt anything on the menu we haven't liked! Matthew was an awesome server! Super welcoming, attentive without hovering, and genuinely made our meal feel easy and enjoyable. He knew the menu well, checked on us at the perfect times, and kept everything running smoothly. Great energy and great service! Thank you again!

This was my first time here and what an amazing experience. Our waiter Matthew was so friendly and very attentive and the food was great. Definitely coming back... with my dog next time!

Yelp
2.5 rounded up. Service is quite slow, parking is also a bit cramped in shared lot with In N Out and other stores. Food was good though, so make sure to not come too hungry and it will be fine. It's also quote loud in there, too. The first visit was not too shabby, but the second visit months later was really off putting and they forgot two of our sides. Hard to flag down to even place an order. We have tried a lot of different options here, but might not return due to nothing really standing out.

Yelp
I like to eat fish and seafood so coming to Pacific Catch in Tustin is usually on my list. I had the salmon avocado burger recently, and it was a pretty solid choice. The salmon was nicely cooked, moist and flaky, not too dry. It is paired with avocado and served in a sesame seed bun that holds the sandwich together without being too dense. The cole slaw was a standard accompaniment and offered a fresh counterpoint. It's a burger that manages to feel lighter than beef, which I appreciated. The coconut shrimp were also quite good. They had that desirable crispy, sweet coating, and the shrimp themselves were tender. They're a reliable appetizer, easy to share with one or two others. Our server was super nice and met my expectations for service.

Yelp
Love this place! There's always plenty of parking since it's located at The Market Place. Our server was so nice. The food is always fresh and incredible. The original ahi poke bowl was so good and the portion was big for the price. There's indoor and outdoor seating and the restaurant is really nice.

Yelp
I'd probably give this a 3.5 for this visit. It was my first time at Pacific Catch. I've driven by many times and always wanted to try it. This review is based on the Aloha Hour Menu mainly. We ordered the Pupu Plater and some drinks to start. It's basically a sampler of apps but also includes some grilled sea bass. We really enjoyed all the food included in this sampler. The Guacapoke was probably our favorite. Our server was awesome! The break down was in the order delivery and bussing areas. There was clearly a shortage in staff or just untrained support staff. It took a long wait to get our platter. We had basically already finished our drinks. The food that was warm, like the sliders, coconut shrimp and sea bass had good flavor but by the time we got it, it was mostly like warm. We order a little more food including more coconut shrimp (came with 7 but menu said it only had 5, no complaints there) a shrimp taco, and a shrimp tempura roll. The coconut shrimp were hot this time but seemed and looked undercooked inside, the shrimp taco was well received and the shrimp tempura roll was probably the worst shrimp tempura roll I e ever had. Wet chewy seaweed, harden rice and little to no flavor or creativity in the plating. The Kimchi Fried Rice was average at best. The Lava Cake was good. We liked the patio and it's a dog friendly outside. We may try it again with the hopes it was just an off day. Our server was so good she's why we'll try it again!

Yelp
We were very excited to try this place, it has so many good reviews and the menu honestly looks amazing. I don't know if we just came on an off day, but we were so disappointed. First to start the bottle of water brought to the table almost made us want to leave. If we hadn't already order and had hungry kids we probably would have. I used a napkin to wipe the opening of the bottle, hoping it was just mineral staining, but it was definitely just dirty from the dishwasher. There's simply no excuse for this, how absolutely disgusting. We also ordered a cocktail and it came in a dirty glass with a fruit fly. We can comment on the taste because we didn't even bother having them remake it, because at this point we just wanted to leave. The "sticky" ribs had not even a single hint of caramelization. They were just gamey and with a sad thin sauce. The coconut shrimp were also just ok. Overall all of the food was very mediocre and we definitely won't be coming back for the dirty dishes.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely amazing!! Have not ordered a bad thing here. I love the margaritas, shrimp ceviche, and Mexican bowl (sub shrimp for steak -- so good)!! The pupu platter, sushi rolls, and cheeseburger are delicious as well. Service is also superb every time, especially Britt, Nate, Matt, Vivi :) Highly recommend !!

Yelp
Pretty solid spot. Came here on a Friday evening for an early dinner and sat at the bar. Inside is a total vibe - all the decor make you feel like you're in Hawaii! For food: The Serrano Ahi Poke is our usual go-to. The poke is always delicious but this time the chips were stale. We also tried their Hawaiian Pork Belly Sliders, and while they were pretty good, I'm not sure I'd get them again (I'd prefer to get their Coconut Shrimp). The Sashimi Hand Roll Trio was delicious and would definitely get this again next time! Lately, we got a salmon sushi roll, and while it didn't have much fish, it was still pretty good! Service was attentive and nice. We were in & out fairly quickly. Overall, good spot and also a greatly happy hour option!

Yelp
Had a mom's night out last night and Justin was our server. He took excellent care of us and checked up often to make sure we were having a fantastic time! We enjoyed the Tuesday special, half off bottles of wine! The manager Bill stopped by to ensure the food tasted good, the drinks were delicious and service was prompt. The sea bass skewers are 100/10! Growing up eating purple okinawan sweet potato, i truly enjoyed theirs!! It's the perfect side dish. I just love coming here, everyone from the host, server, the bussers, the managers are all so welcoming and accommodating. The service here is top tier and the amount of food you get for the price is such a great value, especially these days!
