22 Stellar Spots for Waterfront Dining in San Diego

"With stunning views overlooking Cardiff State Beach, diners get a great vantage point to watch surfers and sea life. The restaurant remains open while undergoing an expansion that will make it one of the largest beachfront restaurants in the area, nearing 10,000-square-feet. The smoky lobster and shrimp chowder and filet mignon sliders stuffed with crispy onion strings are must-tries." - Helen I. Hwang

Night did not go quite as planned, but server Jenna made up for it by providing outstanding attention and understanding. I let her pick the meal, and Chef Humberto did not disappoint! Amazing food; great location and views. Cloud cover did not allow for the Sunset views, but that couldn't be helped. I would highly recommend PCG for a meal, and for the atmosphere. Props to Jenna who helped make an awkward situation into a positive!

I had my birthday here, the service was pretty good, the table very close to the beach/ water. I've been sitting outside, but i wish they can asked me if i want to sit inside, outside is cool, but a little loud for me. Food was good, and they gave me a free dessert which is very nice.

Google
Amazing place and great service. The food is delicious as well. I absolutely love the view no matter the season. You are right on the beach. Strongly recommend. Parking can be difficult but they do offer valet parking. Strongly recommend for any occasion.

I went to lunch with my girlfriends and we had a fantastic time. Food is delicious, service is great, and view is gorgeous. We will go back and we highly recommend.

So happy we missed our bus! Decided to walk instead of wait. Things happen for a reason. We stopped at Pacific Coast Grill to wet our thirsty palate and have an appetizer. Bar downstairs was packed. Hostess shared there was a bar upstairs with an even better view of the ocean. Score! The bar upstairs had an amazing view!!! Ordered short rib empanadas and wow! The empanadas were orgasmic! Enjoyed light hearted conversation with the other customers and bartender. We had a really nice experience before catching the bus right outside the restaurant back to our hotel. That was convenient!

Google
Beautifully renovated restaurant. The atmosphere especially outdoor on the patio or upstairs on the balcony is amazing. You can't beat this place at sunset! I tried the paella here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The steak and lobster is also another one of my favorites.

Google
Beautiful ocean views and restaurant decor. Friendly attentive staff. Lots of cocktails to choose from. Calamari was delicious as was the seafood Cobb and sea bass entree. Yellowtail sashimi roll was great! Nice way to spend an early afternoon. Easy valet parking that won't break the bank at $8. It's not that pricey if you consider the quality of food and location. Definitely come here for lunch when you're in the area. Oceanfront dining with delicious mouth watering food. What more can you want!

Nice dinner with the ocean view. Their food was delicious. We tried the Paella Seafood, Seafood Pasta and crème brûlée. They gave 7 oysters because they were small.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in to Pacific Coast Grill, I knew I had come into someplace very special. Our server, Roxanne, was so incredibly warm, joyful, hospitable, and friendly, that after she took our order and left the table, I looked at my wife and said, "I think I have found my new favorite restaurant!" - i hadn't even eaten anything yet! The restaurant has an amazing feel. It is, on one hand and upscale, bespoke, surfers Hideaway, and on the other hand, a modern, clean, exquisite, yet rustic place, giving a bit of Frank Loyd Wright. Of course, the ocean view setting, directly on the sand at the beach is un questionably, epic, a true delight to the eyes! I had the filet mignon sliders. I could not believe how marvelously tender the filet mignon was. I was concerned about ordering this item, wondering whether I would be able to bite through the slider and filet mignon. When the order arrived, and I took my first bite, all my concerns dissipated in the buttery mouth-feel of that amazing Filet mignon and soft bread bun. The truffle fries were also delicious, the kind of fries that some places serve as a special all of its own, and here at the Pacific Coast Grill, these fries were the standard side. My wife had the fish tacos. The fish was splendidly, tender, lightly blackened with just enough flavor. The beans and rice and guacamole were all on point, but it was the fish that was so fresh and tender that really made these fish tacos a hit. We were at the PCG for lunch- and my only regret is that i didn't discover this amazing restaurant sooner. Such great service; such excellent food; such amazing environs, and such fantastic place, through and through.

Yelp
TLDR: View: 5/5 Amazing, litterally right on the ocean Service: 3.5/5 Mostly good, needed some reminders Food: 2.5/5 Meh, not great, lacking a lot of flavor Price: 2.5/5 ~$30/person with no drinks for lunch Seated right away, had waters brought out. Appetizers came fairly quick, calamari was good, thick and crisp, but the dipping sauce lacked flavor, could have used more spice or sourness. We were seated outside with heaters, and my dad had to ask our waiter 3 different times to turn it off before they did, but otherwise service was friendly and attentive. Entrees were brought out, and my sisters dish had to be sent back because they put tomato/tomato sauce on it when she requested no tomato, mine came with no tomato per my request. My entree, the seabass, was a letdown for me. It was a very expensive dish (especially for lunch) and was mostly mashed potato, the fish was so bland that i couldnt even taste it, came with a white sauce that looked promising but tasted mostly like water. The sushi and pasta dishes seemed much better than the fish-centered dishes, even though fish is supposedly their specialty. I noticed other reviewers also commented on blandness in food, seems like a common issue here. For food so expensive, shouldn't be so much of a problem. Won't be returning, wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Stopped in here for a quick lunch after picking my mom up from the airport. Although they were busy, they weren't super busy, even though their small valet-only parking lot was crammed with cars! We parked next door in the beach parking lot for FREE - although I think we were supposed to pay lol...oops. We sat outside. It was a perfect 70° outside (as always in San Diego) and not a cloud in the sky. We just ordered the large Clam Chowder bowl ($15) and the Fish & Chips ($22.50). My mom said the chowder was good. My fish were pretty small, but they were hot and the batter was tasty. The coleslaw that came on the plate was a disaster. No mayo at all and the cabbage was turning color (meaning they made it probably a few days ago). Not good at all. The fries however were tasty and crunchy. So, not bad, but I would order something else if we ever came back. Service was good and the view was phenomenal. Definitely get a table outside if you can and it's not cold or windy and they have tables literally next to the sand, or they have some set back a ways by the wall/windows...whatever your preference. They also do have heaters overheard. Our bill total was $52.67. Not bad, but I did notice a 4% surcharge that I didn't see when I initially paid the bill. It was only $1.88 but I just don't understand why restaurants do this. Gives you that icky feeling.

Yelp
I dined in here with my Husband at PACIFIC COAST GRILL. We thought it wouldn't be packed 'coz we went on a weekday, but we were wrong, it was packed and we had to go on a waiting list. But it was worth waiting, when our name was called we got a table next to the window with an Ocean view. Perfect, just what my husband likes. We got the Menu, but the food that I wanted for Lunch was moved to dinner time, so that kind of disappointed me. So here is what we had: *SEASIDE MARGARITA *SEAFOOD PASTA *PACIFIC SEAFOOD COBB SALAD *FISH & CHIPS I shared some Salad with my Husband, but I ended up eating it all myself because my Husband is not a big fan of Blue cheese, I like blue cheese. My salad had Dungeness Crab, bacon, shrimps , avocado, eggs, and blue cheese, it was a good Salad. Then I had the FISH and CHIPS, it was alright. I've had better ones. The SEAFOOD PASTA that my husband got was so delicious. It has lots of seafood on it like shrimp, lobster, scallops, and mahi with smoked tomato sauce. And I love my Margarita too. A bit strong for me, but still good. The service was a bit slow since the place was too busy, but our Server was very friendly and attentive. For parking, they have valet parking, side streets, or paid parking by the beach.

Yelp
This restaurant was so good!! We tried a variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts! My favorites were the Yellowfish sashimi/crudo, sushi roll, seafood pasta and crème brûlée! They also make a great old fashioned and manhattan. Although we ate at night, I imagine that sitting outside would offer the most beautiful sunset dining experience. The entire team wait staff were amazing and very helpful. Even with our large group. Will 100% be back to try more options.

Yelp
Awesome place. This was my third time and every time I go I like it more. Ambiance, food, service all is great. Mostly sea food but good quality. A little pricey but its worth $$$. We took our friends to celebrate their anniversary. They loved it too. I went there twice for lunch and this time it was for dinner and the view was just superb. The ocean waves and the sea gulls made it look even more gorgeous. A must!!!

Yelp
We have been coming to PCG for years!! 6 of us went tonight at 7 pm . One of our favorite things to start is the sourdough bread . The waiter told us they were out of it !! The manager who was dressed as bus boy gave us 5 chips instead . Our bill was over $500 .. so disappointing!! Not like the PCG we used to go too !! We will not be back . Poor service!!

Yelp
Great view along with great service. The appetizers and desserts were all amazing. My main entree (sea bass) was cooked perfectly but the seasoning was salty. Overall, great flavors. A nice restaurant tucked away.

Yelp
The ocean view was magnificent. The food was spectacular! The lobster and shrimp chowder was amazing!!! I had the cowboy steak, which was so tender and cooked to perfection. Also had the pear and beet salad with goat cheese,, and was memorable. I will be making that at home now.the bread pudding tasted like a gooey yummy cinnamon roll ! Yum!!!! So when in Cardiff make your reservation ahead of time since that are busy. Special occasion are a nice treat or just a deli ious dinner. Che k them out for sure. Their staff work well together. And our server Keoni, was awesome. He usually is a bartender but was helping out with dinner. He was very familiar with the menu and had great recommendations for dinner. Kudos to Keoni ! And the Pacific Coast Grill.

Yelp
Service was great. Views are amazing. Longboard roll was excellent. Parking is valet only.

Yelp
We hosted a little cocktail hour for our clients and ordered a few apps. All of the food was really yummy. But the real star of the show is their location right over the water. You can sit outside on the patio listening to the crashing of the waves on the rocks below, sipping on your espresso martini with your favorite people. I'd 100% recommend this spot for your next corporate event or family dinner. Definitely a great celebratory place!

Yelp
We came here on a Tuesday evening and were very surprised to see how busy they were! we had previously made reservations, which helps greatly because these oceanfront locations do tend to book quick. One thing to also note is parking. I've been to a few oceanfront restaurants, and like this one, they only offer valet. Make sure to bring some cash for tip too! these guys work very hard playing the game of Tetris with our cars all evening. Now, the location is AMAZING! smack dab on the beach where you can walk from the front door right on to the sand in a matter of steps. We were greeted by wonderful hosts and hostesses when we walked in, and they honored my request to sit by the window with the beach view. If you ask for this, please note that you could wait a little longer past your reservation as they wait for a table to become open in that area. You must be patient, but its worth it! Our server was cheerful and very knowledgeable of the menu. I attached photos of what we ordered, but let me tell you... that sushi? may be some of the best sushi i've had in SD. It was SO fresh tasting, every part of it. If you take one recommendation from me, just try the sushi. Food came out relatively quickly even though it was busy, and we loved it all! we will definitely be visiting again soon!

Yelp
This is hands-down the best ocean-side restaurant we've found in the area. An excellent, chef-crafted menu, professional servers, great ambiance and views, and an excellent drink menu provide the right ingredients for a nice evening out. What we had: - White Truffle House-Cut Kennebec Fries (4/5): Very tasty. Mild truffle flavor. - Beets and Pear salad (4.5/5): Excellent salad! Well crafted. - Seafood Pasta (4.75/5): This dish hit all the marks. Generous amounts of seafood. Excellent sauce with a unique smoked tomato flavor. Great dish. - Miso-Glazed Chilean Seabass (4.25/5): Very well executed. Nice balance of flavors. Bok choy was braised well. Fish cooked beautifully. Not a heavy meal. - Bread Pudding (4.5/5): If you are going for dessert, get this. Just excellent. - Oaxaca Old Fashioned (4.75/5): Loved this drink. Very tasty! A couple of other things: - Valet service is provided for $8. - Heaters outside on the patio worked very well. It was almost too warm for this cool day.

Yelp
This place is so cute, clean and serves the best view of the beach. They have an outside (downstairs and upstairs) seating. Love that they offer valet. Jenna provided excellent service, she alone gets 5 stars. Ordered their fish and chips, with a side of a jalapeño margarita. Both very delicious. Although the fish lacked a little bit of flavor it's still worth ordering. Definitely would love to come back and try more stuff off the menu.

Yelp
The ambience was just perfect. Beautiful view, delicious food! I went in looking for steak and I ended up eating the halibut. The flavors were to die for. I never ate something so good. I was seated right away and service was on point.

Yelp
Loved this place. The food is always on point and great customer service. Prices are also very reasonable. Honestly big recommend.

Yelp
Had dinner here with a group of eight of us. We attempted to make a reservation but due to the size of our group, they weren't able to seat us until 7pm, which is really late for me to be having dinner...but what are you going to do? Our server, John, was great. Very accommodating to the various shifts and changes that our group presented to him. They all did cocktails and wine and I ordered a bottle of Pellegrino. $9.50 for a 25.3 oz bottle! I can purchase a whole case at Costco for not much more than that. I shared the Ahi Poke Tower with a friend and we both loved it! It was full of crab and ahi with a not-to-spicy mayo. It cake with some crispy chips that completed the savory taste of this appetizer. Others also had the Mixed Organic Greens, which were fresh and served with bits of cranberry, almonds and they held the blue cheese. Said it was a good salad. Also ordered the lobster and shrimp chowder, which I was told had a great taste, was a bit too thick, but overall a good choice. For the main dish I had the Pacific Paella. Always a sucker for Paella! And this didn't disappoint! It was full of lobster, mahi, clams, scallops, shrimp with the best saffron rice to round it out. The sauce was flavorful and rich and the fish was cooked to perfection. Would order this again in a heart beat!!! Others also had the Scallops (given a 5+ review), the Halibut (given a 4 review), and the Moonlight Roll (given a 4 review). Overall we were impressed with both the service and the food. It's a bit on the pricey side but you get what you paid for, is my take. So worth it and thanks for a beautiful dinner for all of us!

Yelp
What a beautiful seaside restaurant! Just landed from Nashville and my friend brought me here for lunch. Loved watching the surfers navigate the waves while sharing the delicious Dungeness crab guacamole and the Seabass tacos. Loved the presentation and there was plenty for both of us. Our server kept our iced teas coming and let us stay as long as we wanted to chat and catch up. Restrooms were clean, parking is limited so valet is $7 plus tip. If I lived here I'd come back for sure and bring guests as well to experience the Pacific Ocean view and great food.
google avatar

Achal P.

Yelp
What an ambiance, especially if you are seated on the outside patio. Food is excellent. Don't order their truffle fries unless you want to get addicted to them, so good! Service was great! Their valet parking is amazing: speed, accuracy of their valets is great!
google avatar

Tammy D.

Yelp
Night out with my son and girlfriend before we attend Theatre. Great location but you pay for it first with the valet, then a food service charge and then inflated prices for the entrée with no salad or bread. Besides that it's beautiful food presentation. decent service and great views . I didn't care for my version of salmon. It was a little beefy for me, but otherwise all was good with the food.

Yelp
Absolutely delighted to share our experience at Pacific Coast Grill! This gem of a restaurant is our go-to spot for special occasions, especially when it's time to celebrate my husband's birthday. The culinary journey here never disappoints, with each dish outdoing the last. From the succulent crab cakes to the richly flavored lobster & shrimp soup, every bite is a testament to the chef's expertise. The oysters were fresh, the filet and lobster cooked to perfection, the scallops tender, and the sea bass simply divine. Our waiter deserves a special mention for his exceptional service, ensuring our evening was nothing short of perfect. He was attentive, accommodating, and contributed greatly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dining outside added to the magic of the night, with cozy settings that kept the chill at bay and allowed us to enjoy the stunning ocean view, complete with twinkling lights reflecting off the water. Pacific Coast Grill has once again proven why it's our favorite. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even left. Here's to many more perfect evenings at this coastal culinary paradise!

Yelp
Ambiance in s horrible! I walked in and left. It was when the sun was shining directly in so that was part of it No complaints other than that. Since we didn't stay

Yelp
Breathtaking View, Excellent Service, Wonderful Ambiance Pacific Coast Grill blew my breath away. It was the only waterfront restaurant that had availability on a short notice but it is a 2hr drive from LA. The drive wasn't an issue for us as we loved the views on PCH. The table: - Request upstairs balcony for the closest view to the water while being able to see people walking by from above, request the table closest to the window for even more intimacy. The staff fulfilled all my requests with a smile. - Our reservation was at 5:15pm which was perfect to see the sunny day transition to a sunset. So romantic! They also bring out heat lamps as the sun goes down, so a heavy jacket isn't needed. Food: We tried everything so you don't have to! -Calamari: Beautiful breaded with a spicy mayo sauce, cuts were slightly on the thicker side. 9/10 -Shrimp dumplings: the highlight of the evening. Sweet, savory, juicy, with a red wine sauce. Absolutely impeccable 10/10 -Dungeness Crab Cakes: Not my favorite but boyfriend loved it. When I think of a crab cake I think light and flaky, this one was more thick and deep fried, a little greasy. 7/10 -Cardiff Roll: Great quality ingredients but kinda flavorless 6/10 -Sunshine Roll: Beautifully crafted. Sweet and salty with filling coconut shrimp center. My favorite 10/10 -Coconut Crab Crusted Mahi Mahi: This dish has very strong curry, umami, coconut flavor. My Bf wasn't a fan he felt it was a bit chaotic, but others may find this dish interesting! 4/10 -Lobster Tail: Delicious, fresh, and juicy. The highlight for me was the side vegetables that had so much flavor. I may ask for extra seasoning on my lobster and for it to be blackened or seared next time for a little extra flavor. 8/10 -Dulce de Leche Crème Brûlée: Amazing desert, crispy, and sweet custard. 8/10 -Coconut Cheese Cake: This was a modern deconstructed cheese cake with a graham cracker on the side, a little bland, not my favorite 4/10 Overall Pacific Coast Grill is an excellent restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. They make you feel extremely valued as a customer and provide an unmatched view and vibe! One star was deducted because I wanted more flavor from a few dishes. But I would love to try the expansive Vegetarian menu upon my return!

Yelp
Fabulous experience. The boyfriend got the seafood Paella and I got the halibut. Started with a sushi roll that was INCREDIBLE! Love this place. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Valet right out front and the views from inside were fantastic. We sat on the outside patio for an evening and watched the bioluminescent waves as we enjoyed our meals. The food was okay, nothing superb. I had the lobster bisque soup and the scallops.

Yelp
Man. The views from this place are amazing. Service was great. Location is beautiful. Food is Good but not over the top. Overall a nice place. 4.0

Yelp

Yelp
Food was good. Service was average. Views were amazing. When we arrived we were warned that the kitchen closed in 30 minutes and we needed to order quickly. Upon paying our bill we noticed a 4% surcharge on our bill. I'm fine print on the menus it states that there is a 4% surcharge for rising operational cost.. Unfortunately we lowered our tip amount because of this by 4%

Yelp
As luck would have it, or so I was told, a bird pooped on my head while I was dining in the outside patio. I went to clean up and by the time I returned to my seat, our table was completely cleaned. While definitely out of their control, I was still met by apologies by restaurant staff for the bird situation. I hardly write reviews unless I experience something exceptional. A nod goes out to our outstanding waiter, Peter, who took it upon himself to have our entire meal remade even though we had already eaten most of it. To top it off, not only was I treated to a birthday dessert, he also took care of our drinks and appetizer to make up for the situation. There are many restaurants to choose from, but service is what sets this restaurant apart. Thank you, Peter! The food was also spectacular as is the oceanfront view. Highly recommend the sea bass and bread pudding. I will most definitely come back and bring my friends and family to check out this gem!

Yelp
My husband and I had a date night here a few days ago. Nothing to really complain about with the service but we both fell ill with food poisoning hours after coming home. For that reason, we won't be returning.
google avatar

Yelp
The setting on the ocean is wonderful. The service is second to none without making you uncomfortable. Food was so good. The sea bass was some of the best I've ever had. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the seafood pasta. Would definitely recommend

Yelp
Solid 4 stars. Food is delicious, outdoor patio is very nice with gorgeous view of the ocean. Parking is not good. Came here one afternoon for early dinner with a group. We were able to get a table on the 2nd level by the bar, there's an adjacent patio that had an amazing view. The ambiance is super name. The food is very good. The flavor and the ingredients and quality was superb. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly not overcooked. The sushi was also very good. The steak was good but might be a bit overcooked, but the flavor was good. Desserts were delicious. The presentation could be improved slightly. Service was superb, very attentive and efficient. We had several servers and they were all very on top of it. Very nice experience. Pricey but to be expected for this location and the view.

Yelp
Amazing meal, breathtaking view, with the restaurant situated right on the water. Met a girlfriend visiting from out of town. We decided to share an appetizer (roll), salad, and tacos. I could have easily ordered any other seafood on the menu and feel drawn to come back just to try the different seafood sandwich options. On this visit my friend and I shared the sunshine roll, the baby beets and pear salad, and Seabass tacos. The highlight to the roll was the macadamia nuts. We would have been satisfied just ordering this. The beet salad did not disappoint. We also were tempted and gave into the Tahitian Coconut Cheesecake. It was easily sharable, light and melted in your mouth. The service was on point. The server was attentive, direct, and made sure we got out of there in less than 2 hours on a Monday at lunchtime. I'd definitely go back and try many other items on the menu.

Yelp
Very romantic restaurant with a table right next to the ocean! It's so beautiful here. Valet parking is $7 so park and walk instead of valet'ing. They have a gluten free menu which was placed at the table. So thoughtful!! I liked my risotto and bf enjoyed his sea bass. I would definitely come back to watch the sunset!

Yelp
The Pacific Coast Grill has the most stunning views for both indoor and outdoor dining. We went for lunch and the food was delicious and service was superb. The wait for valet was a little long around lunchtime but it was only $7 and a super easy experience! We're already planning our next trip back for a sunset date!

Nicole L.

Yelp
The paella was amazing & gluten free. Unfortunately it was dark so we didn't get to enjoy the view. The service was so refreshing. Our servers were so sweet & went above and beyond to make our son's birthday special.

Yelp
Please drive to mastros, oceans prime, or water grill. Valet $7 great Valet and my car was parked next to entrance. The maitre d didn't greet and I went up said table for 1 please. No reply only waiting to see another lady helping me to my table. 2 minutes later. I appreciate fast service but it annoys me not being replied to. All these restaurants have better food and cocktails. The only thing good about this place is they have a very romantic view... which I wasn't able to view because I was at a table where my back was turned. When I did want to look at the view I was looking at people who then looked at me then proceeded to turn their head to look at what I was looking at. Should have know it wasn't the best when I saw a dead fly next to me (see photos) I had already ordered my food when I saw the fly. I was too excited about the view then saw the fly.. We ordered 1 kiwi strawberry cocktail.. ordered a double. Did not taste like it... 1 cab bottle can't mess that up except you had dirty glasses. 1 shrimp dumplings This was gross it tasted like it had a whole shrimp in a dumpling wrapped and the only flavor was from the sauce. 1 moonlight roll no tuna. The rice was gummy and mushy. Tastes horrible with only soy sauce. Ask for umai sauce and it tastes... ok 1 truffle French fries. So much oil which is why they wanted it in a paper bag to absorb all that oil... barely any parmesean. The oil is probably truff brand not real infused or shaved truffles. Sad to say but the French fries were the best thing we tried from here.. The waitress she was older had blonde hair and pigtails. I want to say Sheryl or Sandy. She was fantastic and nice. Other than that the view and waitress was great.

Yelp
Nice hot food! Owners should make sure waiters wear clean aprons, our waiter's apron hadn't been washed in who knows how long. Dirt upon dirt. The kitchen knows how to cook veggies!

Yelp
Gorgeous venue. Excellent food. Beautiful view. Parking, valet is tough. Sorbet serving is small. Get a few scoops. It's a must.

Yelp
We had a drink at the bar before dinner. Bar tender was friendly and provided great service. Dinner was excellent. My wife had the mahi mahi which was cooked to perfection. I had the Hawaii baby back ribs. They were delicious. The waitress was great and you cannot beat the location/view. Nice time. We will return.

Yelp
This was a beautiful spot for a gorgeous dinner. Listening to the waves rolling in. Eating fantastic food. The sea bass was amazing. And the desserts were to die for. I would say that the food came out a little too fast. I would liked to have more of an opportunity to sit and chat prior to eating. But I admit thar may be my English showing.... Great service. Great food. Recommend.

Yelp
My favorite restaurants in all of San Diego! The location is breathtaking, valet parking is easy and always a pleasure, the food service is some of the best in town and finally the food is exceptionally delicious every time! If you love fresh seafood, and plenty of it then this is the spot! The ambience is amazing and you can walk on the beach afterwards!

Yelp
Was in the area for a meeting & decided to try this place out. Our server, Yetti seem quite snobbish & not warm & welcoming at all. The hostess on the other hand was extremely pleasant as was the manager. I believe his name may have been Danny. I should've requested a different server, but I kept thinking I was misreading her & wanted to give her a chance. I wasn't. The food wasn't bad. I was quite disappointed when we were served the PRIMO PRIME DIP. There was nothing PRIMO about it. It was just an average beef dip. The amount of meat was so disappointing. Seriously, the name of the dish had me excited to a new foodie experience. Not at all. When I mentioned to the manager about the misleading name for such a mediocre sandwich, he quickly offered me additional meat to make up for the lame sandwich. Although, it was nice of him to offer, I thought THIS is their PRIMO?? The place itself had a beautiful view but not only was the server & my food disappointing, they tried to add an additional charge onto my check for....? IDK ADDITIONAL SURCHARGE?? They actually have a statement on their menu in fine print. (See attached photo) I don't thonk I'll ever be back or recommend this place.

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this place is just amazing. I love being so close to the water and this is become my favorite restaurant and all of San Diego county because of the location location location. The first floor is nice, but the second floor is astounding (In my opinion) the menu is so unique and different. It's, just wonderful

Yelp
Ok, lets talk about vacation vibes in Cardiff. Did someone say resort seaside vibes Cabo style ?? I worked in Del Mar for years and PCG was down the street, I cant believe I never visited! Happy we made it out for an early dinner. Everything was great from the staff, service and the food. The food: Started with the guac- solid Seared glazed fish with bok choy and pineapple- my taste buds were in Hawaii Hubs got the ribeye, oh boy it was big, he was happy. Artichoke wrapped in bacon. Ok. Ok. The sun started to go down and the atmosphere became euphoric I decided to order myself a cappuccino. Why not. I was on vacation.
