I’ve been receiving my PCH box since November of last year (2017). I’ve discovered more new vegetables through my PCH box than in my entire adult life. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it. YES it is. There’s definitely a psychology to having vegetables delivered stork style as opposed to going out and buying them yourself. It feels like a gift and therefore must be used. A few reasons I’d give this particular company a try: I grew up near one of the local farms on the Olympic Peninsula and their vegetable ties show up in my box almost every week. I know where my stuff is coming from. No funny business. Side note- we don't grow enough year-round in the PNW (and some things we just can't) so inevitably some of the produce comes from out of state but it seems like they try to get what they can, when they can, from around here. They don’t go through and remove the “uglies” like the grocers do (waste!) so one or two asymmetrical characters have made it into my box, mostly the local stuff. Sure some things must be eaten before others- local doesn’t mean picked yesterday. That’s the nature of growing food in a climate like ours. But for the most part, the produce is bright, lively and bursting with flavor and I’ve been happy with the variety to choose from every week (you can also default to a pre-set box if you just want to be straight up surprised). A huge pro to this company is they are still fairly small and the owner runs the majority of the operations. If I have an issue, I let them know. They seem appreciative and make it right.

Google
My partner and I have loved PCH! They provide delicious food from great local producers at reasonable prices, and are always great about communication, sharing information about the farmers (e.g. fourth generation local farm, etc.), and offering a variety of things to choose from. Had to stop ordering when we moved to Bellingham but my fingers are crossed for them to start a branch up here at some point!

Google
I'm on my 4th week with PCH and I'm beyond impressed with the service! I was looking for a CSA-type box that I could fully customize which is hard to find in this area. Getting PCH has essentially replaced 70% of my weekly grocery shopping, and I've been really impressed with their pantry items which has cut down on my need for the grocery store even more. Every week I get to try a new variety I've never heard of and it's exciting to learn to cook new-to-me herbs and vegetables. Last, I love their weekly 'receipt' that details where all your items came from and how to store them properly. I'm hooked. Edit: I've been using PCH for a year now and I'm still a huge fan. The selection only gets bigger with time and I love that I can filter to local growers only. The pricing of veggies is the same as the farmers market but the fact that it's delivered right to me saves me so much time.

Google
Pacific Coast Harvest was a great CSA alternative for us! I am only cancelling my membership because we are moving to a different state. Remember, this produce is coming from farms not the grocery store, so it is expected that some items will be bruised or a little more dirty than you are used to - this is the beauty of eating local in my opinion! I tried so many local items I would have otherwise not tried if not for PCH. The team is super responsive and refunded me immediately if any item was missing from my box. Highly recommend PCH!

Google
I love PCH. The online ordering process is so easy and the selection is amazing. I've had access to produce that is otherwise really tough to find at my local supermarkets. There have been a few instances where PCH sent me something that was on the verge of being spoiled and they sent me a discount code by email before I even noticed it myself; amazing customer service! I will use PCH for as long as I can and have recommended them to friends too.

Google
I've been ordering vegetables and fruits from PCH for a year now. I don't know how I would have gotten through the pandemic without them! Some things I love about them in particular: the variety of foods they have (which changes weekly), a lot of their produce is local and no CSA box subscription required, the information they provide about the farms so you know where your food comes from, their selection beyond produce includes essential pantry items, their COVID-safe no contact delivery, and to top it off, the communication from staff has been beyond awesome. I don't think I'll be going back to grocery store produce anytime soon.

I have been a Pacific Coast Harvest client for years. They are a fantastic, LOCAL, small business, and have added so many terrific, new upgrades since owner Chris took over. Not only can you get local, organic vegetables and fruit, but now you can add local cheese, butter, eggs, jam, dried fruit, etc. to your delivery! They also just added the tastiest, exotic mushrooms - also local! You can now customize every delivery so if you want, you can choose every item you will receive, and they also greatly expanded the selection of vegetables and fruit you can choose from. All fantastic upgrades added by the new owner! Their customer service is the best ever - very prompt and personalized. Owner Chris writes you himself! Chris and his team really care about their clients’ satisfaction, and will do whatever it takes to promptly fix any issue or concern. They take pride in the quality of their products, and are truly committed to supporting our local farms and community. I wish every company were run this way. I can’t recommend PCH enough. Cudos to owner Chris and his team!

Google
Super easy to place your order, great options (and so many of them Washington grown!), and pain-free delivery! I love eating fresh produce, it makes up a great deal of my diet, and I love that I can get quality fruits and veggies from my own “backyard”! (And let’s face it, I’m super busy and so the convenience of placing my weekly order online is a life-saver!) Highly recommend!

Yelp
I was a regular customer of PCH until I lived in the Seattle area. The produce is always fresh and always seasonal. I loved that they had red carrots (my favorite), fresh garlic and local rhubarb. The produce maybe a tad expensive but the taste of the vegetables makes up for it. Chris, Kailyn and Jared are always available to help. I have had numerous instances when orders had to be cancelled at the last minute or I had a missing item or I was not satisfied with what I got. The delivery is always on time.

Kineta C.

Yelp
Fantastic selection of organic produce, including things you will never see at the supermarket like foraged mushrooms, sea beans(!), a variety of asian greens. Their focus on locally grown produce is great and they provide info on where everything is grown. I love that I can make the selections I want vs being restricted to a prefilled box. They are unfortunately a little expensive (not terrible but definitely more than the grocery for organic produce) and they've just upped their delivery fee to $4 for orders under $40, which can be a pain point for a small household's budget.

Lindsay L.

Yelp
This company makes me so happy. I talk about them constantly so people think I work there. (Maybe one day! A girl can dream!) Grass fed milk and yogurt, beautiful veggies, and even handmade pasta noodles all delivered to you by super friendly people. You make this mediocre cook look like she knows what she's doing in the kitchen.

Rachel R.

Yelp
There are so many options out there these days for getting fresh produce delivered to your doorstep, and I am familiar with several of them through direct experience and secondhand accounts from friends and family. Pacific Coast Harvest stands apart with their unfailing and transparent commitment to Washington farmers. Chris and his team have worked extremely hard to make sure customers have as much information as possible about the farmers that grow the produce in each week's order, and their service is definitely the best option on the market for those who care about eating local. You can still get your fix of bananas and avocados and other non-local items, but PCH is transparent there as well, even providing info about those farmers from farther away. The best part about being a PCH customer is that the operation is small, and if you ever have a question or issue, you will speak directly to Chris, the owner, who so clearly cares for his customers' satisfaction, as opposed to a computer or customer service person within a giant company like some of the other services out there. You feel like you're part of community of folks eating well and supporting local. You can't go wrong.

Molly T.

Yelp
Wow, what a special CSA! I haven't joined a CSA until PCH because they were always expensive and had a lot of restrictions. PCH allows you to order when you feel like it and doesn't require you to subscribe to a weekly or monthly box. If one of their pre-planned boxes isn't exactly what you want, you can add items to or omit items from it. They also have a large "store" online where you can shop a la carte for other items you may want. The produce is always fresh, delicious and absolutely beautiful. Everything tastes like it was hand picked at precisely the right moment. It also feels really good to support local businesses and farms. I feel fortunate to have access to PCH and that they conveniently deliver right to my front door. Lastly, I absolutely love that they're operating year round! It will be great to receive fresh veggies this winter.

Lauren N.

Yelp
My wife and I have used Pacific Coast Harvest for a couple of years now and have loved it. Their customer service is outstanding and the produce delivered is the highest quality. I've used their service as an opportunity to try out new foods and experiment with my cooking, which has been super fun! When something unexpectedly changes about our order, they proactively reach out to explain what's going on, try to substitute the food as best they can, or provide a discount code for the next order. They've also been able to navigate my large apartment complex and deliver our box directly to our door! Which has been extremely nice :) Overall, highly recommend this local small business! (Edit to add photos)

Yelp
This small, new company has been delivering fresh produce to my home for over a year. They have great service; especially customer service. I love that they source their produce from local farms. You can decide how often to get a delivery and what size. You can customize your order too. Only $30 to get free delivery. Check them out!

Taylor E.

Yelp
We switched to Pacific Coast Harvest after trying out a CSA and couldn't be happier! The half fruit half veggie box is the perfect amount of produce for our two person (one cat!) household. Also, unlike our CSA where we were often trying to google what we found in our box and scouring the internet for reasonable ways to cook 17 heads of kohlrabi, there's a nice mix of veggies--plenty of things we already know how to work with (peppers, brussels sprouts, basil, onion, lettuces) also things that are fun and we might not pick up on our own (rhubarb! eggplant!). Plus I love the little wooden crate on our step and lack of plastic/ packaging!

Melissa S.

Yelp
I heart PCH :) I appreciate that they are so sustainable, offering local, seasonal, organic produce delivery right to my door. Almost every detail, right down to the reusable fabric tote, is compostable or recyclable. Yes, the prices are higher than competitors like Imperfect, but I appreciate this organization's environmental mission (hello, Imperfect, with your single-use cardboard box and plastic on plastic) and I still give them five stars for excellent produce and the amazing customer service, including a great website! Always prompt, always ready to work with me, always courteous, always delicious. Pro tip: treat yourself to the dairy and eggs, some of the best butter I've ever had!

Carson F.

Yelp
I've gotten the produce bag delivered about 4 times now and the produce is beautiful and so delicious, better than what's usually in stores. I got the insulated tote, so I put it out each Thursday and by the afternoon there is a bag of produce placed in it. The bag is biodegradable as well as any other bags in the package. I'm so happy about that, since reducing waste is one of the reasons I'm getting the delivery.

Adi H.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE this CSA. They are very accommodating in substituting your order as well as postponing a delivery when you are out of town. Compared to the CSA I had back in San Diego, Pacific Coast Harvest uses no plastic bags and delivers your produce in the night so you wake up (or stay up late enough some nights) to fruits/veggies that haven't been waiting all day in the sun. You also receive a recipe each delivery which is great for some of the items you may not have cooked with before! Their website is also very convenient to update your orders and its great that they provide an option for every other week delivery as well as three different type of boxes: all vegetable, half fruit half vegetable and a Washington Box.

Kenna L.

Yelp
I have fallen in love with Pacific Coast Harvest! The food quality is amazing, there's a ton of variety in what is available, and the ability to customize the delivery helps limit waste by receiving only what I will actually use. I really love that PCH gives me an easy way to support local farms, learn and think more about what I'm eating, and lower my carbon footprint around food. The website is easy to use, the staff is super friendly, and the company is really transparent. If there ever is an issue with any of the produce (which is rare), they acknowledge it right away and go above and beyond to make it right, explaining what happened with the weather, soil, or farm that caused the issue and offering different produce in it's place or crediting my account. It gets me excited about cooking and excited about Washington farms!

Adrienne P.

Yelp
Having tried several Seattle produce delivery services, PCH is my favorite. It is a truly local small business with excellent customer service. The emphasis is on local and regional produce, with some items from further away to provide variety. There is great transparency about food origins and information about farmers they partner with. The prices are fair, and the quality is always excellent.

Yelp
I have the 1/2 veggie and 1/2 fruit for $25 a month - although my first week was a Yelp deal special which made it only $16 total. First off I want to say that the customer service is awesome. There was a glitch in their system where they didn't get my delivery instructions (I live in an apartment building in a sketch neighborhood with no office desk) so I didn't get my first box. John emailed me back and apologized and refunded everything and then the next week everything was set straight and I got my first box of goodies! Fruits and veggies were fresh and awesome. I didn't think I could eat through all the vegetables and fruits in a week but they seem to be lasting me exactly about that long. It's awesome to know that I'm eating so many healthy foods. Produce comes in a super cute box that they pack it in - very minimalist and not wasteful at all. I just worry about the fact that my apartment is such a bother that the switch off system might be a bit tricky. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I think their website could be a little more detailed/customizable. I think for most things you need to email them directly to let them know about a change - you also can't really see what you're currently signed up for (what type of box, what size, how frequent you want your deliveries). Also because of the glitch that happened to me, I'm not really sure what information they have down for me because my account only really shows me past/in process purchases and my credit card/apartment.

Elisabeth R.

Yelp
Fresh fruits and veggies, excellent customer service! I love the customizable boxes and knowing that I am supporting local farms.

Gloria L.

Yelp
We had enjoyed the veggies and fruits they delivered to our apartment every week. Chris, our delivery person was also very professional and friendly. We have moved to North Bend recently and unfortunately they do not serve in that area. I will miss my weekly delivery from Pacific Coast Harvest!

Asiyah F.

Yelp
By far my favorite grocery delivery! The produce was fresh and free of pests--which can be a challenge for organic. Can't say enough of their customer service. Cat and Kailyn were both a tremendous help to me starting up service, with my late replies to email deadlines and a broken apartment callbox. I absolutely love the care and attention this business shows. All bags were either reusable or compostable--I wish everyone would follow their lead! Even the receipt was awesome! All farms were listed with short memos about each. There was a nice little section on the seasonal stone fruits. And best bonus at the bottom of the sheet, "I'm recycled paper. Does that make me a zombie or reincarnated? Be sure to recycle!" HA! I literally laughed out loud. Feels nice to feel [hearts] about someone you give money to!

Lisa C.

Yelp
If you have ever considered having fresh, local produce delivered to your door, Pacific Coast Harvest is the service to try. I love that I have control over what goes in my delivery each week (Think: No more uneaten "not my favorite" produce). The employees at PCH take delicate care with each and every order. If an item comes in that is not up to their expectations, they never pass it along to their customers; they substitute with another worthy choice. And I can't rave enough about the taste and quality of everything I've received. I've even added a bag here and there to give as "Thank yous" or "Thinking-of-you gifts" to friends--they've been way more excited to receive a bag of fresh produce than they've ever been with flowers and wine!!

Jessica A.

Yelp
PCH has such an awesome selection of local, fresh produce and other products. We just started getting weekly deliveries to our office and all of the employees look forward to the deliveries. Most of the fruit and veggies are gone within hours of delivery! I also get my personal produce delivery each week and I can't say enough about the superior quality of the products. Chris and the whole team are very friendly and professional, as well as super passionate about what they do. Give them a try!

Christy C.

Yelp
Hi fresh, local produce loving friends --- if you like great customer service, the opportunity to be as environmentally friendly as you want and front door service -- give PCH a look. I was with a different local delivery service for many years and watched the prices go up and the service and produce quality decrease. When I finally left I tried a couple of other services including Imperfect Produce (mentioned in other reviews) and the sustainability of the product was what got to me. PCH is a personal, proactive and genuine local business who's owners answer their emails themselves. As I told them -- it is that kind of customer service that keeps me coming back and instills the rabid loyalty I have with places I really love. You choose how far away you want your produce to come from (and of course that changes what kind of produce you get depending on what time of year it is, you can't have it all people), it comes in a sustainable and reusable 'cooler tote' and it comes right to your door. The prices are comparable to other delivery services and it's the people behind the company and their relationships they have with local farms that is the standout quality. Kudos and keep up the good work Chris, Kailyn and Jared!!

Tiffany M.

Yelp
Pacific Coast Harvest is the best! My boyfriend and I tried out a few other services before finding PCH - none had consistently fresh and delicious produce like they do. I love all the extra options like eggs, butter, cheese, etc., plus they've always been super helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend these folks - Thanks to them for being amazing!

Kim L.

Yelp
My husband and I are co-owners of a local farm and have the pleasure to work directly with Chris at Pacific Coast Harvest. His customer service and communication and great. You can really tell that he supports local farms and cares about where his food comes from!

Julie W.

Yelp
The quality of produce is always excellent. Having fresh produce regularly delivered to your front door is such a treat! The customer service is always excellent too.

Z M.

Yelp
We were a little hesitant to place an order with PCH after reading the previous reviews, but there was a $10 off deal and I figured it was worth a try. We received our first order on Monday 4/6, the Washington Box (for 1-2 people) and were pleasantly surprised about the quality, variety and quantity of the produce we received. WIN! This week our box included: Beets Purple Broccolini Crimini Mushroom Yellow Onion Radish Yellow Potato Rainbow Chard Turnip Curly Parsley Rutabaga Sunchoke There was one minor hiccup, the email communication confirming my order gave me a list of produce from the half and half box... I had to log in to confirm that my order was in fact for the Washington box. The delivery time is after 7pm --it does clearly say that they deliver in the evening on their website, our box showed up around 11, so don't plan on cooking that night. All in all, we're going to order another box in the future.

Jamie P.

Yelp
As a local farmer (Sound Sustainable Farms) PCH has been incredible to work with. They are tirelessly working to provide their customers with the freshest, local and organic produce around. We are extremely grateful of the opportunity to be a farm partner of theirs and are even more excited about the fact they can share our produce with the local communities. We look forward to the coming years and to continuously grow our relationship. Keep up the good work.

Alison H.

Yelp
I approached Chris seeking donations for a charity auction and PCH very generously donated a gift certificate for us to auction off. Chris was great to work with and quick to respond to emails. Our winning bidder was very excited to try out PCH!

Jay S.

Yelp
These guys are great! It's like having the Farmer's market delivered to our door. Organic produce, that arrives in a really cool box is a great treat. Our son loves the bananas and we love the convenience.

Denise G.

Yelp
I've been getting weekly deliveries from Pacific Coast Harvest since February and it's been AMAZING. Not only am I eating well--in terms of health, flavor, and variety--but I'm SPENDING LESS MONEY than I was going to the grocery store. I can be more thoughtful in terms of how I buy food and it's encouraged me to use up what I have in the pantry, eat more sustainably (and LOCALLY!), and create less waste. The produce is also ALWAYS amazing (those yellow goose plums! the red leaf lettuce! the purple radishes! all insane) and I love that I'm eating seasonally and truly cherishing the best of each season while also getting control over the quantity and variety of what I'm getting. Each week, I try to pick something I've never cooked with/eaten before alongside my standards and I've prepared SO many new things this summer--from patty pan squash and squash blossoms to garlic scapes, sunchokes, and lemon cucumbers. I also love the list they include with each drop off where I learn about each farm that each item comes from. And the staff! Kailyn is our driver and I look forward to chatting with her each Wednesday. I'm planning on being a LONGTIME customer. Makes me love living in the Pacific Northwest that much more.

Lia H.

Yelp
This is the third week we have received a PCH crate, and it has been great! The vegetables are fresh and varied. I like that it encourages me to try new produce I wouldn't usually buy. I can also customize the box before each delivery. This has been helpful especially since as a family of 5 with two working parents, it is hard for us to get to the store during the week.

Tina B.

Yelp
We've been getting produce delivery from this company for just over 2 years. We started getting the service when we lived in an apartment building as a substitute for our own garden but now that we live in a house with a yard we kept it anyway because we love it. I love that they source locally whenever possible, and I really love the reusable wooden crates---we used to get a similar delivery service when we lived in Portland and all the cardboard seemed so wasteful even if it did eventually get recycled. The staff is great to work with, and the boxes are customizable so when we didn't use up something in a week we could substitute and avoid having too much of one thing. It's like having the farmer's market come to you. Can't recommend it enough.

Cory W.

Yelp
Pacific Coast Harvest is everything I had wanted Full Circle to be. Like Full Circle, they have a mix of local and imported produce. This is useful in the winter months, as a diet of kale and squash can become monotonous. Unlike Full Circle, they are a small local operation and therefore they can pay more attention to the quality of their produce. Customer service has been stellar, if they make a mistake they correct it promptly, cheerfully, and honestly. My small box is $25 a week and has more than enough produce to feed our two person household. A good ratio of fruits to vegetables, about half and half.

Laura L.

Yelp
I first got my Pacific Coast box via a yelp deal last spring, and I have been getting the 1/2 and 1/2 box ever since. I absolutely love everything about the service. Some specifics that I like: 1. Front door delivery service 2. Email updates 3. Can cancel box with one days notice (for example, if you're out of town) 4. A list of exactly where all items come from (for example, it might say "Braeburn Apples, Carnation, WA") And this list could go on and on. I have tried other services (such as Full Circle) and this is the best for me.

Cemarie D.

Yelp
I first of all LOVE Amazon Local for bringing me this deal. Second of all I LOVE Pacific Coast Harvest and my standard box I now get every other week. I originally thought I would use the deal and be done with it...but I'm 3 months in now and I get a standard box every other week. Because it's organic, almost everything minus the lettuce lasts me the full two weeks between deliveries. I keep it in the crate with the burlap on my dark porch and everything stays so fresh. I never even transfer it to my fridge which is great because there's still some fresh dirt to be found on some of the root veggies. We haven't tried any if the other CSA's so don't have anything to compare it to, but I know I spend way more going to PCC buying these things day in and day out.

Hana C.

Yelp
With boyfriend and I being full time students and full time workers, we simply don't have the time or the motivation to shop for ourselves, plan a healthy meal, and cook it. Thus, our need for PCH was born. They are extremely accommodating to your needs - boyfriend and I get a veggie box every other week. We have tried substituting veggies in the past with a hit or miss chance of getting what I ordered. Nonetheless it is fun planning out the week's meals and getting to cook what we have now dubbed as "produce soup". Whatever is left over after two weeks gets cooked up in chicken broth and stew meat and gets to be consumed as dinner and lunch the next day. I can now say what are sunchokes and how to cook them, as well as leeks, kale, chard, eggplant, beets, parsnips, etc! Been apart of this service for months, and would definitely recommend.

Christina B.

Yelp
As I write this, I am eating fresh local cherries. That were delivered to my door. This morning. We have been using Pacific coast harvest for probably 2-3 months now and we are really big fans. We have always loved the idea of a CSA, but there were always things that didn't work out, like making the pick-up site every week during the specified time, or a box being too local, so that in the winter we had only bok choy, or having to prepay for a full 4 months when we knew we would be traveling often during that time. Pacific Coast Harvest seems to solve all of these problems. I love, love, LOVE that they deliver to our door. They deliver later on your delivery day, but it often means that we wake up to fresh, delicious produce. It is west coast local; now that it is summer, all produce has been coming from Washington farms. Before summer months, we would have things from farms along the west coast, still including washington. One of the absolute best things, that I have never seen with a CSA, is that your box is packaged without any waste. No plastic bags, no cardboard boxes or cartons, just a wooden crate and burlap that you leave out to return each week. Customer service is great. You can easily stop and start your service and you can make special requests on-line. You can also choose from all veggies, all fruit or half and half. I also like that we are supporting a small local business. I think this is the happiest we have been with produce delivery.

Erik B.

Yelp
Just got our first box from PCH and won't be ordering a second one. My wife and I shop at farmers markets as much as possible (this time of year it's Ballard & U Dist.) and augment that with PCC and Whole Foods. We're both pretty picky about our food being fresh, in-season, and local. For example, we wouldn't buy berries from California, tomatoes from Mexico, or apples from Chile. Instead, we'll wait for those items to be in season here and eat whatever is available locally now (in January it's root veggies, apples, pears). We've never done a CSA before but decided to try PCH on a whim. We ordered a regular Washington box and the packing list said everything was from WA (PCH gets credit for that- it's probably the toughest time of year to stay local). The list included a Delicata Squash from Nash's Organic, an outfit we know from farmers markets. Unfortunately when the box arrived, the squash had a sticker on it saying it was from Mexico...which was a little weird in a "Washington" box. I understand that substitutions happen in CSAs. PCH's website could be more forthcoming about this fact, but I can't claim ignorance. I guess it just illustrates the problem with CSAs in general: if I was shopping at a market or store and the only available squash was trucked here from a couple thousand miles away, I just wouldn't eat squash that week. Another reviewer mentioned that after signing up for PCH, they started snacking on veggies rather than Cheetos. If that's the choice, then by all means...sign up for Pacific Harvest. But if (like me) you're a little crazy about your food, or (like me) you really enjoy shopping for it- then you might reconsider. The lack of control is off-putting. (To be fair, PCH's packaging was great and the delivery was timely and quiet. The rest of the food didn't have stickers so it presumably is from WA, and I'd say it's 3-4 stars as far as freshness goes)

Yelp
Produce is very good, for the most part. Only complaint is that two or three items per week are consistently already over-ripe upon delivery. I have to pick off considerable parts of the leaves (or cut off sections of a fruit/veggie). Those two or three items wouldn't be what I'd pick for myself at the store. Very convenient and reasonably priced though.

Yelp
Received our first box delivered on Saturday July 30th at around 3am because I heard the dogs barking. I finally woke up at 7am to find a delightful surprise at our doorstep, our first box of colorful fresh produce packaged and presented in a nice wooden crate from Pacific Coast Harvest. The selection we received was great, 1/2 fruit and 1/2 veggies and my favorite was the pile of blueberries from Blue Mountain Farms in Burbank WA. I really liked the one-sheet that comes tucked behind the produce listing all the items in your box, along with recipe ideas on what you can do with some of the fruit and veggies such as Chard & Green Onion Quiche or Fresh Blueberry Apricot Muffins! I love that the produce is 100% Washington grown and delivers to neighborhoods in Seattle. I only recently heard about this company through Mamapedia and signed up as a tasting assignment for work. I plan to continue my membership because the service has been so easy, convenient and pleasant, and the weekly delivery on my Saturday mornings can't be beat. On our 2nd box delivered today 8/7/11 and was thrilled to find a little pile of cherries! Love the recipe suggestion on Guac dip with Jalapenos. PCH: So glad I found you guys! Please don't change a thing..

Yelp
My wife bought their Yelp deal for me for my birthday last year and we've been getting delivery from them twice a month ever since. The produce is always super fresh and crisp, you can choose what you want in your box each week from their list of items, and their customer service is second to none. I've had nothing but great interactions with John and Michael and really appreciate the personal touch and knowing that I'm dealing with a small local company that is out to do good. I wake up excited to get my box every Thursday morning and can't wait to plan the week's meals based on what I find. They are also offering cool extras like fresh eggs, gardening tips, recipes and daily deals. I highly recommend PCH...the more of us that sign up the better for us all!

Yelp
I really enjoy ordering local fruits & veggies and having them arrive right at my door. Pacific Coast has an easy-to-use website that allows you to order as often or little as you want. There's a lot of transparency about where the food comes from. Customer service is top notch. It's a small team that really cares, and will help you out if you have any issues. I highly recommend!

Yelp
EDIT: I've upgraded to two stars since the owner called, admitted their mistake, and apologized after I left this negative review. I thought that was courteous and professional, if a bit long coming. Additionally, the 5 days it took to issue a refund included a Saturday/Sunday in the interest of full disclosure. ---------------------------------------------------- Please don't trust this company with your credit card. They have very poor internal controls and/or management. The company's hold/vacation system apparently hasn't been working. They charged me for two months while I was on hold. Do they ever reconcile their delivery records with their charges? Doubtful - or they would have caught this themselves or at least not given me such a hard time when I requested a refund. With other options out there, it's not worth risking the hassle with PCH. It took 6 emails (just on my end - 12 total) and 5 days for them to agree to refund the boxes I was never delivered (because I was on hold). I'm still waiting for the full refund to actually hit my card. TL;DR - There's a high chance they'll screw up your payments, and they're not eager to fix their errors. Do business elsewhere.

Yelp
So many great things to say about this company. I bought my friends a produce box delivery as an engagement gift for fresh produce up until the wedding.- They loved it. I purchased the yelp deal on their produce boxes- so I loved it.. saving money is always a good thing. When it came time to cancel the service, I mentioned to John, Tom and Mike that my friends were interested in signing up themselves and I listed a few questions they had. John wrote a sweet email back, congratulating them and answering their question. I have included it below because I think it might be helpful info for those thinking about produce delivery. Here's the email: Hello All, First off congratulation's on the engagement and upcoming wedding, that is wonderful news! In regards to produce during the winter our goal is to buy as much as possible from the local farms while still maintaining a good variety of produce in our boxes. Even in the dead of winter our boxes contain roughly 50% produce from Washington state, some of these items have been stored such as potatoes or apples but a lot of it is fresh winter crops. The produce that we purchase from outside of Washington state primarily comes from California and all of it is 100% certified organic. Have a wonderful week. ~John

Yelp
Nothing will beat the convenience of having fresh fruits, veggies, and eggs delivered to our door each week. PCH's website is really easy to use and they do a good job of reminding customers to customize their order before they're sent out. If we have ever had a problem, their customer service has always been top-notch with refunds, discounts, or replacement produce. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I have participated in several CSA programs and produce delivery services because supporting local family farms is so important. Pacific Coast Harvest is hands down my favorite so far. This is some of the highest quality and freshest produce I have ever received. I had the option of choosing from very very local (50 miles), very local (200 miles) and local (Pacific Northwest). I love the insulated reusable tote and the fact that when necessary, they only use biodegradable bags. Way to go! My order came with a content list that included a quick bio of the local farms I am supporting. I really love that! Oh, and customer service is just top notch! Thank you guys! I am so glad I found you.

Yelp
I just received my first 1/2 fruit 1/2 veggie box! I am so happy that I decided to start produce service with PCH. Mind you that these aren't Costco sized portions and I'm totally okay with that as I hate wasting stuff! The regular sized box is perfect to last you through the week for two people. The fruits and veggies are so pretty that I don't want to eat them! The homemade wooden box and burlap sack, totally awesome! There was a small problem with my online order at first but John was very helpful and took care of it right away. I'm extremely pleased and I'm very picky....

Yelp
NOT a CSA. PCH claims to provide local, organic produce, yet I received a cucumber from Mexico and fruit from California in my first box. I'm not sure what their definition of local may be, but if you are looking for an authentic CSA, this is not the place to go.

Yelp
We tried to love them, we really did. Out of 4 delivers, not a single one arrived on time and at least two were delivered to our neighbor's house (the ones that didn't arrive may have been left at other neighbors?). We were offered discounts and assured they were getting new driver's, but trying to plan your week around boxes that are never delivered on time is pretty annoying.

Yelp
I'm writing this review having yet to receive my first order but must say I'm so beyond impressed with the customer service I've received. The people who work there helped me gift an order to my friend -it ended up being a bit confusing for me but they were there to answer every question and help me execute the order in the best way for me and my friend.
