This place feels like it is straight from Hawaii. Delicious food in a very relaxed environment. The flavors are so good. I had the garlic shrimp and my kids had the poke. I haven’t had such good authentic poke on the mainland like this before anywhere. The service was friendly. They chatted with us and were very welcoming. Looking forward to coming back.

Google
The food was phenomenal and I was super impressed. The Side Mochiko Chicken was flavorful, the beef Bowl looks dry, but it wasn't, it was super juicy and flavorful over the bed of rice. The Mix Plate with the garlic chicken and bbq chicken delicious and juicy. The mac salad slapped. Highly recommend. Definitely coming back. Thank you.

Google
Service was very kind and they checked on us a few times. You order from a counter and they bring you the food. When we went, they had a band playing music which was nice. The outside looks a little sketchy, but the food was good. They had good portions for the price.

Google
I love this place. The outside is run down and sketchy looking. Inside isn't fancy, but that means they can put the money towards the food while still keeping prices very reasonable. The workers and owner were great. They had live music. Everything tasted great. Would come back. Will recommend to friends.

Google
We went there seeing the high rating and reviews. We were really impressed seeing the varieties in their Hawaiian menu. Food was delicious and very reasonable. Order, food was self service. We loved the pork belly musubi the most! Highly recommended!

I visited this location for the first time yesterday. This is a very nice restaurant. The food I tried was delicious. The service was great. The ambiance males you feel like you're actually in Hawaii. I will definitely return to this restaurant in the future.

Google
Great Hawaiian restaurant! Food looks goodl but the taste is fantastic. We Felt welcomed. Hope to be back.

Google
We enjoyed our first authentic Hawaiian food. The outside of the restaurant is a little dated, but worth going inside to enjoy the food!

Yelp
Went to have lunch after our bowling tournament.... Such a warm welcome as we walked in... seen that we were alittle worn out and they were intuitive about our energy. Like coming home to my own family with such a warm touch. I changed out my choice to Laulau and mochiko chicken. I really enjoyed the Laulau... so hot and tasty... hit the spot. We'll see you in October...

Yelp
Third time here and it was a great dining experience once more. Flavors are authentic, portions are great, prices are fair, vibes are chill, ambience is laid back, and the owner herself is often found working in/around the kitchen and greeting the diners. If you find yourself looking for Hawaiian food around the north end of the strip (Las Vegas Blvd and Sahara), come give this place a try. The exterior of the business and the surrounding plaza may look a bit "prickly", but I think the food that awaits will be worth it. Aloha

Yelp
Yoooo!!!! Place is LEGIT! Im not here on Yelp for the "service" or "environment." Im here for the damn food. Look, if you love Hawaiian food and anywhere near here. ITS A MUST. Place is absolutely delicious. Fresh, well seasoned in traditional Hawaiian seasonings. The Poke nachos were SOOOOO good. I was a little skeptical getting poke here, but so glad I did. FRESH! Mac Salad was on point and the Chicken Katsu was also hitting HARD. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Yelp
We love Hawaiian food and we were in the area and the Yelpers said this was a solid spot for good HI food. The place is big! Was not expecting that from the outside. The aloha hits right when you step inside. The staff was so welcoming and greeted you with honest "aloha!" We took awhile to figure out what we wanted because there is a lot to choose from! I got the PIT bento and the hubby got J's bento. While waiting for our food I saw that they have a stage and live Hawaiian music on Friday nights. I bet this place is full then. There was a steady stream of diners coming in after us and a LOT of to go pick ups. Once we got our food we were checked on 3 times to see if we needed anything and if the food was to our liking. It was not intrusive at all just like your auntie asking if you're good. When I asked for a to go box the lady kind of chuckled and already was thinking I wouldn't finish my huge plate of food. I told her now I have a lunch plate all ready for tomorrow! Win-win!! I wish we had room for dessert because they had tempting cakes, cookies and boba. Maybe next time! Everything we had was tasty, but if I have to pick favorites I would say the mochiko chicken and the fish.

Yelp
Excellent customer service! We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, and the gentleman assisting us was patient with us as we kept adding to our order. The owner of the restaurant also came around to check on us and the rest of the tables to ensure everything was okay and see how the food was tasting. It was really nice talking to her. This has to be the best spot for local (Hawaiian) food! If you're visiting Las Vegas, I highly recommend this place! My family and I ordered the following plates: Cheeseburger and fries, Pit BBQ, ahi nachos, Shanghai spring rolls, Keiki bento (spam musubi, mochiko chicken, fries), Kalua krunch, and a taro milk tea. The hamburger patty is thick, juicy and homemade. The BBQ chicken and Kalbi were perfectly charred.. just enough to add flavor, and the Mac salad was not overpowered with mayo.. just the right amount. The ahi was fresh and the wonton chips were crisp and made to order.. it also came with a spicy mayo sauce that enhanced the flavor of the dish. The mochiko chicken and spam musubi were also delicious, and I can understand why it sells out. We'll definitely be back before going back home to Oahu, and we'll come back when we visit Vegas again.

Yelp
My family is big on trying all the hawaiian places when we travel. They've had their eye on this place so we went in for lunch. This place is located in a strip mall area. Big dining area and they have a stage for live music. The owner is very friendly and inviting, making small talk while our order was being prepared. The portions are huge, my plate was 2 meals for me lol. Everything tasted very authentic and with the atmosphere, very chill. I'm sure I will be coming back to visit again when in Vegas.

Yelp
Pacific Island Taste is located near Paradise Rd off of Sahara Rd. It is easy to locate and access and parking is plentiful. The shopping center is old and the parking lot desperately needs to be repaved. The area/ neighborhood looks sketch and I would discourage any females coming alone after dark. The interior is very spacious. They have a hang out area right by the door that reminds me of a den or small family room set up. The dining area is wide with plenty table & chair seating which is comfortably arranged without feeling cramped. The far side has a stage where they have live music on Saturday afternoons. Workers amicably greeted us as soon as we came in. We were seated right away and were given menus to look over. Orders are placed at the counter and brought to the table when ready. Today we chose the Pit BBQ Combo, the Loco Moco, and 2 BBQ chicken skewers. The Pit Combo was a very large plate with 3 different kinds of protein, rice, and mac salad. My SIL enjoyed all of his food and had enough leftover for lunch the next day. The chicken skewers were for the kids and they were delicious! Two or three of these with a side of rice would be a tasty meal! The Loco Moco was mine. The beef patty was smothered in gravy and topped with an over easy egg. It was served over rice with mac salad on the side. The serving was generous, but the meat and gravy were lacking flavor and needed to be seasoned more. While my SIL enjoyed the mac salad, I found it to be under seasoned and having too much mayo. So, mixed reviews from my party on the food. I didn't think it was terrible, just underwhelming. Service was friendly. When the place got busy, service definitely switched to laid back Hawaiian time.

Yelp
It's a big open concept space with an area for live music on Friday nights and the weekends. The food selection is amazing and the portion sizes are great. The service is full of aloha, warm, welcoming and open. My family came to visit and we checked this place out together and had a blast. Thank you for your aloha and care. I'll always come back here. Everything was delicious and amazing!

Yelp
We absolutely loved everything about this place. Very authentic food with amazing portions, with amazing flavor. Not only that, the ambiance of the place is wonderful too, owner and workers are all very kind and on top of their stuff! Chatting with the owner was very nice but what really stood out to me is that I noticed her constantly praising her staff and encouraging them while also working along side them either sweeping, packaging orders, or walking around checking on customers and taking their orders, that really moved me. The music was amazing, and we found food here that we have been unable to find anywhere other than back on the big island. 10/10 overall on experience, service and food. We are already planning our next visit back. We got the loco mocos with the pork belly musubi (didn't get a picture of those because we ate them so fast , that's how delicious they were)

Yelp
This place is amazing if you love Hawaiian Food. Everyone here was really nice and even helped me with picking out what to get. If you also like live music, when I was there for my visit there was a group singing hawaiian songs and it was relaxing! I got the Mix Plate with Teriyaki Beef/Chicken. I upgraded my rice to fried rice but kept the Mac Salad. It was absolutely delicious and for how much you get? It was so much food that when I went back to my hotel I almost wanted to fall into a food coma. The food is delicious! I wish I lived in Vegas to come back to this place. It was such a fun experience.

Yelp
Great island flavors. Cannot go wrong with the food was delicious. The loco moco,, Kailua Pork, & Ahi Nachos were bomb. Family really enjoyed the meal. Will definitely be coming back here during our next family vacation to Las Vegas.

Yelp
Every time I go to Vegas, I enjoy taking my friends to this place. Possibly my favorite Hawaiian restaurants outside of Hawaii. Most dishes I've tried have been amazing, and they have a vast selection of Musubi. The atmosphere is casual, and typically has live music performances throughout the day as you're eating. A must try for any fan of Hawaiian food.

Yelp
I am so glad this suggestion popped up on my Yelp page! I love Hawaiian food and decided to order the mixed plate. Kalbi beef rib and teriyaki chicken were my meat selection and rice and Mac and cheese as the side. The flavors on both meats were sweet without being overbearing. The teriyaki chicken was cooked to perfection. The kalbi definitely had more fatty spots which made it hard to chew through. However, the flavoring on the meat was my favorite. I loved that neither was doused in sauces making it easy to finish the entire plate. I ordered online and was given great suggestions as well as a nice greeting upon arrival. The inside of the restaurant is huge! There is a plethora of seating to choose from and it even looks like a live performance area. Not sure if this is only for events or if they have scheduled performers. Great place to dine in with friends and enjoy a great meal.

Yelp
Hubs and i were so excited to try this spot. Lots of our Hawaii friends have mentioned them. We ordered saimin/pork hash, and hubs got island bento and we ended with some pasteries. I enjoyed my saimin and pork hash was good. Buns loved his bento and came with so much food we had to take half home. Restaurant was cozy and i felt like i was back in Hawaii. It also looks like they offer live music too. I'd love to go back to chill and listen. *tip. Order your turnovers with your meal, takes 20 min to bake fresh. We got guava and taro turnover as well as a long John. Guava turnover came highly recommended by a patron waiting for his food.

Yelp
The quality of the kal bi was not good. The macaroni salad was tasteless and the rice was not fresh. I would not go back.
google avatar

Elisha W.

Yelp
Talk about places you would overlook. This was a great place, full of local charm! We went for lunch and there weren't many people inside, thankfully, so we could take our time ordering. We sat down, looked at the menu, then ordered our food. I got the chicken katsu curry plate--a nice portion of food--and a canned beverage. While the food was great and the service was, too, what really caught our attention was the atmosphere. There was a stage, where we assume live music gets played, but while we were there, they had music on the television. It reminded me of MTV back in the day, but with what we assume were culturally appropriate music and entertainment, which was nice. The restaurant fit the Hawaiian vibe without being "cheesy", which was great. Will definitely return in the future!

Yelp
When you're in the mood for a Meat Jun plate this is the place to be! "Meat jun is a Korean dish of thinly sliced beef that's marinated, dredged in flour and egg, and then pan-fried until crispy." Thanks google for this info! Meat Jun has been a popular dish in Hawaii and sometimes hard to find good kine Meat Jun in Vegas. My cousin visited this past weekend and she was craving Meat Jun and we took her here she said it was so good that even the beef was marinated and had a good flavor. You know it's good Meat Jun when you don't even need the sauce to dip it in. Casual dining, so many items to choose from on the menu including daily specials based on availability, appetizers, salads and desserts also based on availability, can drinks and complimentary water available. When ordering food you place your order at the counter with the staff and select a table to sit at. There's also a section for merch, which is nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful when ordering food. Aunty Cena is so cool she makes you feel welcomed and had good conversations with us. On the menu: Meat Jun Plate "Mix Plate (choose two only)" - Meat Jun and Roast Pork all rice no macaroni salad. "Mix Plate (choose two only)" - Teriyaki Beef and Roast Pork. Pork Belly Musubi Two Ube Turnovers - made in house and fresh it takes about 20 minutes to make. I recommend you order it with your meal. You'll have it ready just in time. Great tasting food all around and the Ube dessert was delicious not too sweet, crispy shell, soft inside and prepared with cubes of Ube not puréed. Generous portions and reasonable prices. When in the area stop by and dine in or take out. Keep up the good work Team!

Yelp
Food is spot on just like the manapua man used to make it! They must try for something on the lighter side. Went in on a Saturday they had a life band ready to play service was busy even when I did a mobile order so you're expected to wait 30 to 40 minutes and they will tell you either get here early or plan ahead the ambience feels very homey. I just I'm back home in Hawaii. You must try Hawaii local favorites. * make sure to add a dozen porkhash.thank me later.

Yelp
So absolutely bomb!!! I'll be back many times and I'll bring friends each time. The meats were so full of crazy good flavors along with everything that's on the plate!!! Then the vibe inside is so perfect. Love and peace vibe.

Yelp
This was our first time here and we had a good experience. The server and the owner were welcoming. The restaurant ambiance was relaxed and had a nice Hawaiian vibe. Great Hawaiian food w/ reasonable prices. Make sure you order your food at the register, and order turnovers there too since it takes about 20 minutes to bake. We will definitely come back.

Yelp
My family and I, a group of nine, visited Pacific Island Taste and were warmly greeted by Auntie. All dishes were made to order. The pork hash was flavorful but a bit salty; frying them, as Auntie recommended, greatly improved the taste. The pork lau lau was decent, though the pork leaned dry. The butter garlic shrimp, however, was a letdown far from the Hawaiian style we expected, with overcooked, salty shrimp lacking any buttery garlic flavor. The poke started off promising but was marred by a marinade that tasted oddly of olive oil and vinegar. Parking was sufficient, though the location appeared rough. The interior was spacious yet plain. The staff's hospitality was a standout, but overall, this take on Hawaiian cuisine didn't quite satisfy our palates. I would perhaps try again at a different time.

Yelp
Who knew you could get such fresh fish and delicious Hawaiian food in the middle of the desert? Pacific Island Taste serves up delicious plate lunches and fresh poke, as well as a huge dose of nostalgia. The aunties are so kind and welcoming here, and you feel right at home. My husband lived in Hawaii for 6 years and he said that eating here brought back so many great memories. The food itself was delicious. The poke was incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. I was obsessed with the breaded fish and how flaky it was. Also who could pass up saimin? The loco moco was also crazy good. Highly recommend this spot!

Yelp
We chose this place based on the current Yelp rating. This restaurant is in a pretty sketchy neighborhood. Around the corner, it looked like a scene straight from Training Day (Denzel Washington). Inside, the ambiance is simple and no nonsense. I was hoping to buy a cool t-shirt or two. The merch turned out to be a rack of used clothing...think "garage sale" but inside a restaurant. I was puzzled by that... I ordered the oxtail soup, with a combo of garlic butter shrimp and lau lau. I'm a big fan of Hawaiian style oxtail soup. I make it at home and try to model it after Aiea Bowl. I was disappointed with their soup. It was pretty salty and lacking certain flavors/spices I'm used to. (I.e. star anise, ginger, dried orange peel). Their soup also had celery and carrot in it. I'm used to Daikon, carrot and mustard greens. Cost saving maybe? The meat was not as tender as I like it...like it needed to be initially browned then cooked slow and low. The garlic butter shrimp was also a disappointment. I didn't really taste garlic, nor butter. It seemed liked they used a lot of oil instead of butter??? Again, cost saving??? The lau lau did not taste nor look house made. If I had to guess, it was probably frozen and made by a company in Hawaii. Ending this review on a good note, the young man who took our order was a really nice guy. He wore a UNLV t-shirt and said he was a sophomore there. He was very friendly and gave a lot of good advice regarding UNLV. I want to like you and give you fives stars...but I feel like you need to focus on the quality and details. Maybe pair down the menu and put more focus on the most popular items??? Get rid of the used clothing hanging from the racks and invest a little money in merch with your logo on it. Good luck.

Yelp
A true gem in the midst of vegas! I love the authentic flavours and atmosphere of this place. As soon as I walked in they had Hawaiian artists performing on stage along with lots of seating available. I had the short rib and beef teriyaki which was excellent! The macaroni side took me back to Hawaii and it was great value for your buck compared to the rest of the strip. Service was very friendly and accommodating. It's a bit of a walk or bus ride from the main strip but only 20mins from the Fontaine bleu.

Yelp
Came back today, 12/15/24. We really enjoy the Hawaiian live music and the service is always with aloha spirit. Generous portions too. We tried the Hawaiian plate. The laulau was moist, the kalua pork with cabbage was also good but the meat was a bit dry. The kids ordered the kalbi combo with Korean chicken and garlic chicken. We also ordered the poke nachos which was too salty for my tasting. Otherwise, the service is still top notch, the ambiance is relaxing and the live music brought us back to HI. Glad we stopped by to get our local food cravings satisfied.

Yelp
Decided to order takeout from this restaurant on a Monday evening. As soon as we walked in the restaurant, we were greeted by two friendly workers. The service was great, and the food was ready when we got there. The restaurant was very spacious and looked like it had a stage for live music, though there was no live music playing at the time. The food was really good and the portions were good for the price. We tried an array of things, including the chicken Katsu with fried rice and kalua pork cabbage. The other mixed plate we got included the Machika (chicken/ breaded chicken) and Kolbi short ribs with white rice. Additional items we got was the pork hash. Both plates came with macaroni. All the meats that we tried were very flavorful and unique. The fried rice was very flavorful and tasty and had bits of meat in it. The macaroni tasted great as well! My favorite were the machika and the kolbi short ribs. They were SO tasty!! I have no complaints about the food. I will certainly be back to dine in and try more items on the menu! If you are a looking for a new restaurant around Vegas to try, you should definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Recently, we were fortunate enough to attend a special event at Pacific Island Taste and were blessed with a very tasty adventure in the desert. Our hosts treated us to a plethora of tastes that filled our bellies with goodness that everyone enjoyed. Everything from the fried rice, sushi, Mac salad and fried noodle to mochiko chicken, kalbi ribs, meat jun, as well as teri beef and teri chicken brought us back home to Hawaii and wanting for more. The staff were all friendly and promptly greeted us as we walked in their front door. Their humble family style restaurant also reminds us of the mom and pop restaurants we went to back home too. There is an order counter for food but there's more for sale to the side. I remember seeing for sale: Aloha shoyu and aloha shirts but there were probably other things that I didn't get to look at. We're were too busy enjoying visiting with our friends and extended family for an event for me too look at anything else too closely They had a stage off to the side for larger catered events which could probably accommodate a music group. There were probably 20 or so in our group so they partitioned off our section so other diners could still come in. We had plenty of room to eat and enjoy ourselves. The catered food trays were very generously filled and nearly everyone in our group had seconds and there was even more food waiting for us. Definitely go with what they would recommend for ordering and you can't go wrong! We're definitely planning to return anytime we're in Las Vegas because it was so easy to get to and there's plenty of parking right outside their door. We don't spend all our time on the strip or downtown so it's nice to unwind and enjoy good local food away from the crowds. Please pay them a visit and support local mom and pop shops like theirs!

Yelp
We like trying oxtail soup when in Vegas so tried this new place, NOW OUR MUST VISIT place when in Vegas for oxtail. I believe it was the owner, she came and greeted our table and was very hospitable. The food was delicious and very fresh, hence a little wait. But it wasn't too long of a wait, and there was background LIVE music playing. It was very chill.

Yelp
Atmosphere, live music, customer service, great food! Owners were personable! The food is made from scratch and was oh so fresh! 10/10 recommended

Yelp
This is the 5th time my daughter and I have been to this restaurant. We used to love the food at this place. Something has changed and not for the good. Firstly walking into the place- we used to get a nostalgic hole in the wall in Hawaii feeling. Now half the place was closed off for "cleaning" and the older aunty behind the counter was scolding people for going to the wrong side saying "it's closed off for a reason" as if they were supposed to know better. It looks very run down. There are old couches in the dining room, and merch like slippahs and tshirts displayed in the food counters up front. The whole energy of the place felt just off and low key uncomfortable. I should have listened to my gut and just walked out like other people I saw walk in....but figured to chance em cause we had eaten there before and the food was really good. This time we Ordered a bento with furikake rice, mochiko chicken, Teri beef, spam and fried fish. We also ordered a Manapua man special (2 pork hash, 1 Manapua and fried noodles) and a side order fried noodles. For drinks we ordered a mango boba- (they said they didn't have tapioca but we ordered anyway without boba) and a Diet Coke and asked if we could also have water. The lady taking our order gave me a glass of room temperature tap water. I'm not sure if other places do this but I had to ask her to add ice- which she made seem like was an inconvenience for her cause she had to walk back to the ice maker to get it. When we got our mango drink there was maybe 4 pieces of ice in there and the lady explained that she gives mostly juice cause she isn't selling me ice. It was not even chilled. I think she should have given an extra cup full of ice instead of serving us a warm drink that is supposed to be cold. The food was basically inedible. Bento: The teri beef was rubbery and bland and left a weird aftertaste. The fried fish tasted freezer burnt and old. The Michiko chicken was soggy and greasy. The rice and spam was the only things edible on that plate. Manapua man special: pork hash was overcooked and mushy. Noodles were bland and really greasy. Our lips were so shiny! We could only take a couple of bites before we decided to call it quits. With all of that said - we will not be returning. Pacific island taste=pacific island waste.

Yelp
It was such a nice treat to check this place out. I wanted meat jun and my cousin suggested we go here. She kept telling me that the food is good here. She wasn't kidding. I must say that the outside may seem a little sketch but the area is not as bad as you think. There's a lot of parking in the front and back of the restaurant. It felt like home walking into the place. The workers were very welcoming which was nice. There's a lot of room inside. You can celebrate any occasion in there. I ordered meat jun and garlic shrimp. Both were delicious. They had a bunch of desserts on the menu and I ordered a custard and taro turnover. Oh my goodness!!!! The best turn over ive had in a long time. They make it when you order it. Actually they make all the food from scratch. I was suppose to bring it home, it never made it home. My cousin and I had the privilege to meet the owner, Aunties Cena! She is such a sweetheart and beautiful person. She came to our table and introduced herself. It was nice to chat with her, very down to earth. I'm sure if you go there you'll meet her. The best part to the ambiance was her husband was playing live local Hawaii music on stage. It was comfort all around and I recommend everyone to go check it out. The menu has a lot of variety to choose from.

Yelp
Let me just say, this place has been the highlight of my trip. The vibes were immaculate, the staff was welcoming and helpful. As far as price goes, I think it's better just to go in because their prices do change and update from the online menu which makes sense, but nothing too crazy. Portions of food given were more than enough and worth it. I can't speak on other people's experience with the food, but mine was amazing. I ended up getting a combo plate with the chicken katsu curry and the kalua pork. The chicken was perfectly breaded and the curry complimented it well. The pork melted in my mouth and was so moist. They did give me the option to have cabbage in it which was nice (I did get the cabbage and it was a good choice). I read that a few people said the Mac salad might have tasted too much like mayo, but mine was great and I ended up getting an extra side to eat later. All in all, I think this is a place worth checking out and if you're local make sure to support this restaurant and treat your tastebuds to some good food. Note: I did get my food to go and attached photos if you're curious.

Yelp
Ordered the pit bento as a super late lunch. I liked the mochiko chicken the most. It was perfectly crispy, but not too crispy where it'll cut up the roof of your mouth. It was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, AND it was chicken thigh which most people know is supreme when compared to chicken breast. The plate was so good that I was actually bummed I couldn't finish it! If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely come back for the mochiko chicken!

Yelp
Wow - I wish we had found this restaurant sooner! In all honesty, we probably only stumbled upon it because of our stay at Sahara. There is plenty of parking available and even though we came at night with a toddler, it felt completely safe. There was a big party inside but the space is so big that there were plenty of tables left over. The workers/manager/owner were sweet and very accommodating - even advising we move to a bigger table because their portions were huge. You definitely get a lot of yummy food here that is priced very well. We loved everything we tried and can't wait to come back! Honestly preferred it over our meal from Zippy's (which was good - just not AS good).

Yelp
This food spot earns top marks for its standout dishes and exceptional service. The oxtail soup takes center stage with generous portions of tender meat and a flavorful broth boasting hints of ginger and shiitake. It's a standout dish that's worth returning for. The Limu poke also impresses with its freshness and delicious flavor, making it a definite repeat order as well. The mixed plate featuring our choices of kalbi and mochiko chicken offered great flavors as well! Although the kalbi was slightly tougher than I would prefer, the flavor was very delicious. In addition, the mochiko chicken was perfectly fried and juicy. The service here is truly amazing! The waitstaff were very attentive and took the time to ensure guests feel welcome. Every single waiter came over to check on us and the owner even stopped to talk to us and let us know that the food is made without MSG and freshly made to order (which is why the wait after ordering is a little longer than typical restaurants-but well worth the wait in my opinion). Will definitely be coming back every time I visit Las Vegas!

Yelp
Had lunch on a Friday, place was half full. I ordered the Char Siu Plate and was told it would take 30 minutes. Order was put in at 1142am. Half hour went by and no food. It would have been nice if the floor staff could have checked on me or even offer some water. I noticed there seemed to be a lot of tension and confusion between the floor staff and kitchen with the food orders. When the food finally arrived one hour late, no apologies given. To the owners credit, they have a sign that informs customers some food can take awhile to prepare, but one hour for one Char Siu plate? Although I was "Hangry" and upset about the long wait and service, the food was good. My advice is if you are used to getting your food in less than 30 minutes, go to another restaurant or order take out.

Yelp
Local Hawaiian Restaurant. Live music 12pm-2pm Thursday-Saturdays. Sometimes it can be hot and miss (could get overly salty one day in taste) but it's Vegas so we take what we can get. We got to try a bit more items. But these are our constant favorites - $3.25 Pork Belly Musubi is a must order for the SO. - $12.99+ Mixed Plate of 2 Meats. Includes rice and mac salad. Bbq Chicken, and Katsu Chicken are our favorites. No to the pork, and we're okay about the beefs. Bare in mind, we some know much and ear much Hawaiian food. Our taste buds usually lean toward lighter food and salt, which is opposite of many Hawaiian dishes? Haha Quality wise has been good...no dry meat. We probably visit once a month. The vibes, staff and hefty meal after a long day of moving is nice. And have tried the below so far. Free Yelp Check-In for pork hash. $12.99 Mixed Plates are great! $15.99 Pit Bbq Combo. 3 different meats was delicious too. $14.99 Loco Moco (with eggs how you like them). Our friend's favorite. $2.99 Spam Musubi. Can't go wrong with this. $3.25 Pork Belly Musubi is SOs favorite masubi. Never text l tried this before. $15.99 J's Bento Box. Random buffet mix of food. Maybe a bit too mixed for me. Good for anyone who enjoys Westernized/fusion Chinese style fast food. $12.99+ Mixed Plate of 2 Meats. Includes rice and mac salad. Bbq Chicken, and Katsu Chicken are our favorites. No to the pork, and we're okay about the beefs. $9.99 Half lb poke. It was salty and not cut in a way we like it. I wouldn't come here for poke. $4.99 Mini Poke Nachos. $19.99 Oxtail with rice. Rice is on the side. Nice if you're looking for comfort. Come early or call to see if any of these desserts are sold out in the evening: Malasadas, pickled mango. Come/Call 10am on Friday. Malasadas don't last longer than an hour. No alcohol served at the restaurant. But it's next to a liquor store and a 7 eleven. And they have plastic cups for you at the restaurant ;)

Yelp
Best Hawaiian food on the mainland!!! Broke da MOUTH!! We come to Vegas 2-3 times a year and we ALWAYS stop by here for at least 1-2 meals. Auntie is always super sweet, kind and helpful. She's always cooking up something new and Ono! Love this spot, check it out if you get the chance.

Yelp
The most Hawaii-style pork hash in all of Las Vegas! This is not pork shu mai. The Hawaii-style version is different, and this spot nailed it! The size and flavor of the pork hash is my childhood! We also got a couple of spam musubi and a katsu curry plate. Both were fine or good enough. I honestly just wanted pork hash. The dining area felt very neighborhood garage like back home. There is live Hawaiian and Jawaiian music on the weekends. The day I went, someone called out so the kitchen was a little backed up. We have to support this local business. It is vital to keep small businesses like this healthy for the community.

Yelp
7-26-2024 The ahi poke didn't seem really fresh...like we're used to having at Poke Heaven. Seemed like it was frozen and then thawed out. Flesh was not tender, as it should be. Also, the ahi didn't seem to be marinaded. It was disappointing.

Yelp
Every Vegas trip I go on, I always make it a point to eat off the strip cause there is so much good food in Vegas! Hawaiian was on my list this time around and I'm so glad I found this spot. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly, and they also sold Hawaiian shirts, hats, etc. Bought myself a cute hat! Can't wait to come back.

Yelp
This place has become fav place in LV for Hawaiian food over the years. On this visit we got the Kalbi Plate, Beef Stew, and the Beef BBQ Sticks. The Kalbi ribs were cooked just right and it was tender and juicy. I really enjoyed Beef Stew was very Ono and the meat was tender and the veggies /still had a snap. The BBQ sticks were also good and I could have just that with some rice and Mac salad. This place reminds me of Hawaii every time we visit.
