Google
Huge selection, great big liquor store. Open till 2 am every day. Parking in rear available.

Google
This is by far the best liquor store in North Park San Diego. Why because they stay open until 2 in the morning and they have everything. Even the most exotic of items you might want at that time of night. Literally after going to six different liquor stores in the area I found this gem. I can't say enough, the owners are on site an absolutely wonderful East European family. Give the mama a wink and a smile and she might let you barter a little bit, maybe. Not telling my secrets.

Google
Great beer selection, good wine and liquor selection, but most importantly, the only liquor store in the area that's open until 2! And, they have the hip-hop themed potato-chips. These are good.

Google
worst for doordash. Called to reconcile the order in good faith, got hung up on.

Google
Great selection of both liquor and other products. The staff is always friendly. Great hours, and convenient location. Also, they have additional parking at the rear

Google
The guy inside was friendly and helpful to everyone who came through while we were there. They had some drinks that had been hard to find at chain businesses because they were initially available a little longer ago. Also, they have Zebra Cake rolls for sale individually. That's awesome!

Open untill 2 am, full stock, every name. grate selecction and honest price. Best liquor in North Park.

Google
Open till 1AM or 2AM daily!!! In my neighborhood you're lucky to get your drizzly order by 12am considering everything is closed by 10pm. An older woman was cashiering who was extremely kind and polite, also very knowledgeable of their merchandise. In the back there was an older man whom I believe was stocking inventory & such; also quite polite. In fact, both greeted every single customer coming in with a gracious welcoming smile. It really was nice observing this. Anyways, Pacific Liquor has some incredible pricing on various liquors, spirits, the likes, as well as plenty of snacks & misc. convenient store items. Come to think of it, I seemed to gravitate towards this store because of their exterior lighting!! Appealing to my eyes was a decent sized sign atop the roof; dazzlingly lit up was an older-vegas (kinda 1945 vibe) sign!!

Yelp
The staff here are true community members, it's worthwhile just stopping by to see them. Simon always gets the NA beers. I love, and Hany is a friend to everybody.

Yelp
Selection is pretty decent, on par for what you would expect from a liquor store. Range of beers and liquor. However I did not appreciate the random lady sitting in the store heckling me while I was trying to shop. Staff didn't even say anything to her or try to help. That one experience was enough for me to not return, there's plenty of other places to pick from in the neighborhood.

Yelp
I don't even want to give 1 star .... Do NOT order through door dash ... TWICE now I ordered wine & received not what I ordered but actually old corked shitty wine instead !!!!!!! & they KNOW they can get 'away' with it cause it's door dash !! SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!! Ugh I'm disgusted by this practice .

Yelp
Besides having a great updated choice of beers, they're # in customer service. Always super friendly and helpful. Great selection of wine and spirits.

Yelp
Best liquor store hours and parking right at the front for easy entry/exit! Lots of variety of everything with COLD 1.15 oz of liquor bottles at the front counter. Lemons can be found at the front counter also.

Yelp
This place is awesome I hope you come here for years and they have one of the biggest selection of beers and alcoholic beverages and straight up alcohol I have ever seen in a liquor store before. I can literally spend 30 minutes just walking around looking at all the beer easily. They have every kind that you can think of and then some, stouts, sours, lights, darts, imported you name it they have it. By far this is one of my favorite liquor stores in North Park area without a doubt. Their prices are decent and not overpriced and the owners are extremely nice and always do a Great job of taking care of you, don't forget if you have a question or if you're looking for a specific beer don't hesitate to ask they will help you, also if they are out of something ask them there's a good chance they have in the back. They have parking in the alley specifically for the store and also parking in the front to gain close access otherwise there is still parking on other areas but you will have to walk a half a block or so. If you're ever in need of beer or alcohol or wine trust me and try this place you won't regret it.

Yelp
This store is charging $21.77 for a six pack of Labatt Blue. It's $6.79 at Total Wine and More. A lot of stores are out of stock right now with Labatt Blue, so I think they are taking advantage of that by jacking up the price. Really outrageous.

Yelp
**They do not honor their check in offer. But five stars all around for having any and every beer you're looking for. When looking for the rare and limited Pliny the Elder, they were the first place I called and of course they carry it. Not only do they carry it, but they also don't limit you to just one like every other place in San Diego. Woot! Woot! For alcohol related ANYTHING, you come here.

Yelp
I went couple days ago at night, There's a drudged out security guard. No vest saying security, When I walked by not going to the store. Told me is his house.

Yelp
Oh HELLL'ssss yeah!!! When the Beer Gods of Toronado who I DO NOT triffel with pointed to this place as "the best place to find A LOT of great beer"...I had to obey. I am an IPA drinker predominantly and I also love Pale Ales. I asked where I could find most of the Green Flash and friends and those Toronado Beer Kings told me to come here. I was NOT disappointed!!! Unbelievable! To use a Ryan R-ism.. .this is definitely a Liquor Store for "Beer Sexuals". I got lost in a daze looking into the various "beer lockers", shite, this place is the "Davey Jones" locker of beers. Even Belgium beers for the snotty little hipsters are abounding in this place. I have never seen so many different types of Belgium beers, in my daze I almost grabbed a bottle of Alagash White when a bottle of Lagunitas Red Ale came up and biotch slapped me in the back of the head, knocking me to my senses. I walked out of there with a bottle of West Coast IPA and the Lagunitas Red Ale which I have never tried. Ohhhhhh, I think they have wine and liquor too, I was just in too much of a beer daze to notice. I will be back... BTW dude, dig your pile of potato chip snax, blows away my Seveo!

Yelp
What a freakin' gem! I have probably driven by Pacific Liquor about a bajillion times. I stopped in the other day because I used Dogfish Head's 'Fish Finder' to locate their beers locally. There are SO MANY different products to choose from that I couldn't even find the Dogfish brew I was looking for. The owner noticed me searching and came over to assist me. What a nice man. I explained I was looking for Dogfish Head's Midas Touch Beer. He walked me over to where it was located. He explained that he had broken up the four pack to singles to make it more affordable for people to just buy a single to try. I think he saw a little bit of disappointment in my eyes because he told me that if I purchased four he'd give me the four pack price ($2 discount). I of course took him up on his offer :-) I picked up a few other items while I was here. There are seriously so many craft beers available I was in heaven. I have since returned for more beer and must say I this will be a regular stop off for me. I noticed the owner labeled the dogfish head (see pic). I am sure I probably wasn't the only one who had a hard time finding it, but in my head I am flattered that he did it for me. I would say their prices are average and in some cases even lower than your typical liquor store rates. I encourage everyone to patronize this local establishment. It may sound silly, but paying the extra $1 or 2 is the way we keep our small businesses alive and keeping the $$ in our community!

Yelp
The owner's are very nice and they get some fantastic bourbon in from time to time and don't overcharge.

Yelp
Way cool! Lots of choices. Pacific Liquor: 1 Part Convenience store 3 Parts Beer Heaven 1 Part Knowledgeable Staff 1 Part Awesome Location

Yelp
Pacific Liquor has one of the greatest neon signs in San Diego. That's what initially drew me to the place, but the fine sake selection is what keeps me going back. Yes, it's on El Cajon, and yes, it can be a little shady at times, but grow some balls and check it out.

Yelp
A liquor store that sells craft beer, craft beer glasses and they are organized with numbers!!!! Yeeeeeeessss!!!! They sell all types of liquor not just beer, but I come here because I just love organized places as much as I love beer. After my husband brought me in for the first time I was blown away by the organization and they have all my favorite beers. A huge plus is that we bought a couple of beer glasses for our collection at very cheap prices. I never mind making the beer rounds, and now I'm always exited to come here because not only do I walk out with tasty beverages but also with a new glass! Whoohooo !!! It's a family owned and operated and they are all very sweet. They have helped me with some selections and suggested some great beers too. Don't be afraid to venture off to new tastes, just tell them what you like and they'll be more than happy to help you out. All the fellas might want to come through their back entrance. They have a special display of pictures that you might appreciate wink wink ;)

Yelp
As far as aesthetics go, there is nothing exceptional about this place's digs. But don't let that keep you from accessing one of North Park's (and maybe even SD's) finest and widest variety of craft beer selection. They're also dog-friendly as long as they're on a leash. The beers are well-organized between styles (e.g., IPA) and sizes (e.g., 12oz cans), and there was nothing that they didn't have that I was looking for. This includes some local North Park beers like Thorne and Belching Beaver, as well as choices from around the city. Additionally, they've got a fine selection of beer glasses to match the different styles. I didn't spend any time perusing their liquor or wine sections, but as far as beer goes, this is as good as it gets. And way more fairly priced than other trendy bottle shops, which is why I will be stopping in again next time I need beer.

Yelp
Amazing selection of craft beer, plus wine and liquor, sundries and anything else you need. The location is great and they're open til 2am. It's not a ~fancy~ looking place, but it doesn't need to be. I wish I could give ten stars to the staff, who are knowledgeable, friendly and kind.

Yelp
Wow, this liquor store is one of the best I've ever been to in my entire life. A) I love neon signs B) A 'friend' of mine digs naughty magazines... and there are plenty here C) They easily have the best selection of beer outside of BevMo in the city 6-pack bottles of Palm? I didn't even know Palm did that! Plus, they seemingly have every IPA known to man, (including Racer). It's like Toronado had sex with a small village and they all gave birth to little bottles of booze inside this joint. Very, very impressive. They don't sell kegs here, which I suppose can be considered a small buzz kill... but for what they lack in gallons and gallons of Miller Lite in a tin barrel, they make up for in their HUGE selection of fantastic beers. I haven't been here in about 5 years, and like most things, I didn't realize how much I was going to miss it until I planned on leaving the city :(
google avatar

Soleil Moonshine S.

Yelp
In terms of service, this is the Starbucks of liquor stores. The owner practically has a bottle of medium-priced, industrial-sized tequila and a pack of sugar-free Orbitz gum brown-bagged and ready for pickup upon my arrival. Don't be led astray if this sounds like bragging. On the contrary, it's actually quite terrifying.
google avatar

Yelp
When I moved to north park 5 years ago, I was driving down the Boulevard and noticed the neon sign outside of Pacific Liquor. I went in with low expectations since it is surrounded by seediness, but was delighted with what I found! They truly have everything you will ever need, and the owner and his wife are great. My friend was in town from NYC and he is a total beer connoisseur, so of course I had to take him to Pacific Liquor. He is definitely a talker, but he went completely silent when he saw the beer selection...he may have even gotten a little misty-eyed with joy. We were back there every day of his visit to get more beer - we decided we had to get one old favorite and one new one each time, just to expand our repertoire. Hey, you have to keep your skills fine-tuned, right? Outside of the beer, I have even visited Pacific Liquor in a cooking emergency. I was in the middle of a recipe when I realized I needed brandy. Rather than go fight the line at Vons, I stopped in at Pacific and got a couple of airplane-size bottles of brandy....cooking crisis averted!

Yelp
Need an imported Czechoslovakian beer at 12:30am on a Tuesday? Go to Pacific Liquor. What about PBR or Busch Heavy in a bottle, say, 10am on a Friday? Go to Pacific Liquor. Or maybe you're just looking for a couple of new 22's to pour for you and your buddies from a few random breweries around the world. Pacific Liquor is where it's at. The first time I went in there and stood before the massive wall of beers, I turned to my friend Mike and said "Mike...we're home." Yeah, ya know what? BevMo probably has a lot of what they do here overall, although the selection of beers I think is still better at Pacific. Plus - everything is in the fridge. Most of the time I find something I want to drink at BevMo and have to wait until it's chilled. Not here. Personally, I like the atmosphere. It's a LIQUOR STORE. It's supposed to be sketchy. You're supposed to feel like you're doing something bad. And there's always some interesting company around there. John D. hit it on the head. "Top of the line for a liquor store. If you can find a better one, I'd be surprised, and that's why I give it 5 stars."
google avatar

Nick T.

Yelp
Place kicks ass. Great selection of all things booze, including crafts. Plus all of the usual suspects like chips, nuts , sodas, lotto tixs etc etc. One of the best licker stores in the area.
google avatar

Adam G.

Yelp
I don't drink, so I guess I'm not really the target market. I went in looking for something for someone else. I can confirm that they do indeed have a lot of different bottles of different kinds of liquids. And you would feel like a real man buying liquor here because it is shady as crap. On the other had, their sign is NOT neon as promised. It is actually a lot of tiny incandescent light bulbs. Get it right, people.
google avatar

Evan N.

Yelp
As my friend and I were driving around looking for El Salvador Pupuseria Y Restaurante, I spotted their sign claiming over 450 beers. Always up to check out beer stores, I wanted to verify their semi-incredulous claims. I can't say that I verified if they have that many beers but they had one of the largest refrigerated beer selections I've seen. They also had bottles of Ballast Point Victory at Sea (terrific coffee vanilla porter), which is the only place that I found them still in stock when I was down in SD. I cannot comment on their wine or liquor selection as I didn't really check that out. Yeah, like Amber L. said, they have a porn magazine rack, which is on your right as soon as you walk in. Awesome.
google avatar

Amber L.

Yelp
No liquor store will ever compare to this place. Every other liquor store disappointments me. I used to go every week and try a new beer. I lived a few blocks away for almost 2 years, and I never ran out of new beers to try. Well, I did not follow through EVERY week. I think of this store as the ultimate Vice store. They have a porn magazine rack. They have good tobacco supplies. They even have horse racing magazines. Booze, Porn, Tobacco, and Gambling. All the legal vices? They have ice cream too!
google avatar

Sophia G.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best liquor stores in SD. The first time I came here was with a couple of friends to prepare ourselves for our first outing to a drag show (Lips right across the street). I agree with Kyle- you can't help feeling like a kid in a candy store here. They have one of the largest selections of beer I've seen, much better than most of the Bev-Mo's down here in so-cal despite being a third of the size. They also sell some great pre-mixed drinks that are more than a little dangerous. Personally, I'll stick with beer, but the stuff's really good if you're into it. I recently had one of those bad drinking nights where the next morning you swear off alcohol, but as I do not come to North Park very often, I was tempted to stop by this little hole-in-the-wall again and see if it was all that I remembered. It was. I have to say, I was a bit disappointed that the beer I had been searching for (it was kindly pointed out to me that it had been behind me the entire 20min) wasn't refrigerated, but they probably don't expect (or at least HOPE) that their patrons will be consuming their purchases in the next 10 minutes... Definitely put this place on your list for a quick stop if you're ever driving down the 805 or through North Park!
google avatar

Dawn B.

Yelp
I've been to a liquor store or two in my day, but Pacific Liquor is like Mecca. Every boozer has an obligation to make a pilgrimage at least once in their lifetime. I, on the other hand, take a certain pride in the knowledge that I'm putting the owner's kids through college one six pack at a time. The selection at Pacific Liquor will blow your mind. It borders on being a museum. I've seen things in the cooler from countries I have never even heard of. If you can't find something you like here, it might be time for you to retire. This place is legit.
google avatar

Melinda D.

Yelp
Please hold, I need to concentrate on the beer. Fridges and fridges full of wonderful, beautiful beer. I spent at least 20 minutes trying to narrow down my choices. I found a hard-to-find Uinta sour, which was reasonably priced at about $15. The only thing I couldn't find were small bottles of Duvel, but they had a large bottle for $10 which seems really reasonable. Just a note, than debit card purchases under $10 have charge. But, if you're buying beer you'll likely spend more than that!
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
I love coming here when I have a hankering for something Belgian or sour and don't feel like making an outing of it. Awhile back I found a Monk's Flemish Ale, a sour selection that I think I recently saw at Small Bar. I hope that means it was popular and coming to town! I love local brews, but I love the Belgians too! And Pac's selection is massive! Matthew C. is right, this is beer nerd paradise!
google avatar

Bryan S.

Yelp
Surprising selection of import beers which is hard to find in these days of craft brews.
google avatar

Charlie Y.

Yelp
Welcome to shadesville. This place has an awesome vintage vibe like something straight out of 1960's Vegas. I gotta agree with Brian and John and say it's appropriately sketchy for a liquor store setting. Sometimes I am slightly reminded of the Omar Little death scene from the Wire, one of the greatest TV shows ever. Probably because I can't buy a pack of newports at any liquor store for fear of being shot in the head. This is a great place to grab beer and smokes on your way in and out of north park or normal heights. They have a really good selection of both. Open late, but there's all kinds of sketch here in the wee hours. "It's all in the game though, right?" RIP Omar and The Wire :(
google avatar

Ron C.

Yelp
All I gotta say is this Liquor store is very conveinent for me since this is down the street. It has all your alcoholic needs from beer, wine, and hard liquor. You can tell from the outside of this store that it has definitely been here for awhile! O.G. Status. The paint is all faded and worned out after many years. LOL for you pervs to fulfill your urge they have an adult magazine section or like a secret room to check out haha or you post up against this store and watch the el cajon ho's walking around HAHA!
google avatar

Drea C.

Yelp
Best place to get beer from ALL over the world. I got a case of 14 different beers there and I the owner was very helpful in helping me pick some, pack it all for me AND help me bring it to my car. I am pretty excited about a ginger Japanese beer, an aged 18 year beer from Scotland and a bottle of some local organic beer. Can't wait to drink them all and go back!!!
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
Want a beer you've never tried before? Go here. Can't find a beer you had a long time ago and can't remember the name of it? Go here, they probably have it. Sick of dealing with BevMo? Go here. Heading to a party that's BYOB? Go here.
google avatar

Vero B.

Yelp
They have quite an impressive selection of beer. My roommate and I walked over hoping to find some good beer without having to drive out to BevMo. We did! And although BevMo is slightly cheaper, I don't mind paying an extra dollar for some Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. They also have a nice selection of refrigerated white wines. I think we'll be stopping by a few more times for our favorite bottles. If you want a gross selection (Bud, Coors, etc) and a great selection (Stone Ale, Blue Moon, etc) of beer, this place will most likely have it. That way your friends who don't know good beer and those who do aren't as limited.
google avatar

Jessica R.

Yelp
This place has the best selection of beer in San Diego hands down. I could spend hours staring into the coolers filled with beers I've never heard of and many of which I want to try. The prices are pretty good but the selection is like no other. If you are looking to try a new beer or you want to go for your old favorite go to Pacific Liquor I promise you will find exactly what your looking for and then some. The staff are friendly which is a bonus.
google avatar

Joy M.

Yelp
Great for people watching at night! You might come across a couple shady people, but it's worth it for their beer selection. Case in point: I used to live off of Louisiana St which is maybe 3 blocks away from this store. I think my roommate and I were buying booze for a a "Marley & Me" drinking game. When we were at the register, some random guy eyes me up and down. I of course had no idea until my roommate walks in front of me so that the guy couldn't stare at me anymore. I asked the RM what the deal was in the car and he explained the situation. Yup, that happened! They carry many local brews, CHILLED, which is awesome! Stone, Coronado Brewing C.. Green Flash... It's there. If not, the guy at the front will make suggestions. They also open later than Bev Mo. What more do you have to lose?
google avatar

Lempi M.

Yelp
There is a MAGNIFICENT beer selection here, which makes the fact that the store is dingy and oddly arranged just fine. You can find all the favorite San Diego country local selections, and some obscure brands too. Looks like a place worthy of blowing your paycheck week after week after blessed week.
google avatar

Jen S.

Yelp
This place is so great! They have an awesome selection of beer ranging from your standard domestic to your craft beer. They also have a great selection of wine here too but I actually haven't noticed the liquor section as I tend to stay away from that type of alcohol these days. And in addition to all this, they have this great selection of beer glasses of all shapes and sizes, which is a pretty neat thing to have in a liquor store! Makes them a bit unique. You can pick up beer for a party and even get the host a special glass if you want. I also absolutely love the staff. They are all incredibly friendly and helpful too! They point out beer specials all the time and are just cheerful people. Anytime I bike there, they let me bring my bike inside so I don't have to worry about locking it up. I feel like they take their time to get to know their customers and build relationships because they always remember me anytime I come in and ask me about things I told them in my last visit. There's parking available in the back and it's in a really convenient location in North Park. I definitely recommend checking this place out because they seriously have an awesome beer selection and at reasonable prices. Definitely ask for any specials because they'll be happy to let you know which craft beers are on sale that week!
google avatar

Bradley C.

Yelp
First let me say this: Pacific Liquor - As good a beer selection you will find anywhere in SD and probably the best. I love Tripels & Belgians and they had PLENTY!!! They even carry Russian River - which I love and is often hard to find. After being directed to Clem's Bottle House in Kensington (Which is a pretty good beer store). We were driving back to Hillcrest when we spotted a pawn shop next to Pacific Liquor. We checked out the guitars in the pawn shop and when walking back to the car, we popped into Pacific Liquor to see the "Over 450 Beers" as painted on the front of their building. They weren't lying. SUPER easy to get too, lots of street parking and it's a HUGE store, way closer to me than Kensington - my new favorite beer store.
google avatar

Kart P.

Yelp
Alcohol and a Porn stop. Alcohol is cheap, but porn is free on the internet, so just stop by to pick up cheap beer and vodka. You do get a free Stella glass with a check in, so don't forget to use Yelp.
google avatar

Nicholas R.

Yelp
The staff are nice and accommodating, which is a departure from most liquor stores. My only gripe is that you are after a very specific beer, you might be here awhile. Their selection is outrageously large, and you'll be sorting for a minute. I was turned on to this place by Toronado, after trying some very good Belgian Ale. Toronado called ahead for me, and I walked down the block to find my bottles waiting and cold at Pacific Liquor, ready to take home.
google avatar

Desiree S.

Yelp
Great selection over all. They definitely have a great cull of local San Diego beer, and everything is well stocked. The location is convenient, and despite being on busy El Cajon Blvd, there is almost always parking out front. They have lots of snacks to go along with your booze, and the staff is always great with helping me find new things to try that I will like. The only reason this is not a 5 star review, is on a few occasions, it's smelled like cigarette smoke as if someone was smoking, but put it out as soon as I walked in.
google avatar

Jena M.

Yelp
This liquor store is conveniently located just West of 30th Street on El Cajon Blvd. I was pleasantly surprised on my first visit here to see the massive selection of beer they carry. I've been back a few times since and never walked out empty-handed. In fact, I walk out with more than what I intended to buy! I do think the prices are a bit higher than they should be, but on occasion I don't mind convenience and selection over cost. The only thing that really bothers me about this place is the stench of cigarettes as soon as you walk in. I don't know if the owner smokes in the back room or what, but it's pretty disgusting and not legal as far as I know...
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
This place has an extensive selection of fine, imported beers. The problem is, 99% of their ghetto ass customers only buy the cheapest sh*t, so all their imported beers sit and rot for years before people like me come and buy them, only to pop the bottles open and discover that the beer is rancid, rotten, and EXPIRED. Chunks of solid material floating around in the beer. ALWAYS check the expiration date of their imported beers!
google avatar

Holly P.

Yelp
They're open really late. That's why we were kind of forced to come here (alcoholic people problemz) lol I fee like they're overpriced. I know liquor stores prices are higher than many other places but when my boyfriend came out he's like a regular bottle of henny here was 50$ . I thought that was a bit high. I ended up coming here approx 30 minutes later to buy more alcohol (again, alcoholic people problemz) lmao and the guy at the register was friendly though.
google avatar

Jan F.

Yelp
Rude! I walked in, the clerk was on the phone and just kept talking while I was standing there waiting. He puts the phone down after putting it on speaker and keeps on talking while I stand there. He finally looks at me and I tell him what I wanted. He shouts at me and asks what size and starts yelling the sizes while being impatient. (no one else was in line..guess he wanted to get back on the phone) The price was $4 higher than my regular liquor store. I should have just walked out but was stunned by his behavior. First and Last time I will come in here!!!

Yelp
The best place I've ever been in San Diego. Everyone who works there is amazing and kind and there's a ton of options for booze and beer and cigarettes. There is a hallway full of babe posters from the 80s and 90s, if you appreciate beer poster nostalgia as all good Americans should.

Yelp
Yes yes yes! This is THE place in North Park to get your drink. The foreign guy at the counter knows his beers. I get my weekly beer from the guy. They have the bourbon barreled beers I crave, the imports my roommates crave, and the rare crafts beer nuts love. Sure they may not have every single beer ever, but it beats what most of the other spots have in the same area. I like their selection of proper beer glasses as well. Their liquor prices and food stuffs may or may not be good, but i have no idea, because to me, they might as well just call it Vladamir's Beer Emporium, even though i have no idea what the guys name is, and its probably in one of these reviews but I am too lazy to find out. Oh yeah they have your crappy beers too. Parking is street and metered. Bring a 30 and buy 2-3 750ml bottles of great great beer.
