A group of former Reno Air Flight Attendants ✈️ met for lunch at Pacifica Del Mar Seafood Restaurant in Del Mar, CA during restaurants week. Let me tell you the salmon melt in my mouth seriously. The service was excellent and the atmosphere and view was great. I had the Pacifica Burnt Cream for dessert and the Sugar Spice Salmon for my entrée

We went there for a brunch, and it did not disappoint. The view is stunning, the outdoor seating is amazing. The servers were professional and nice. The food was good, we had the steak and eggs and the crabcake Benedict. They were well prepared and tested good. The French toast was tasty as well. I would recommend this place for brunch or dinner so you can enjoy the view.

I came with my closest friend to celebrate both my birthday and 20 years of surviving ovarian cancer today. We had the most wonderful server and delicious meal. I am so grateful. Haven’t been here in years and it remains one of my lifetime favorites.

Pacifica del Mar is a pretty decent seafood restaurant. The interior design is a bit dated but the staff is friendly and the location is great. Our server Patch was fantastic, always smiling and anticipated our dining needs ahead of time. We started our meal with the shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were large, fresh and tasty. For our main we shared the Cioppino. It was a decent enough portion for two. All of the ingredients were fresh and the tomato based sauce was nicely spiced.

Google
Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Our food was out quite quickly, main courses were placed in front of us, probably 20 minutes maximum after we ordered, but after we had finished our appetizers. The halibut was prepared perfectly, which is difficult to do since most restaurants overcook it. The coconut curry sauce complimented it very well. Cocktails were spot on and delicious, not at all watered down. Most importantly, my wife loved her food and drinks and said she would be bringing her friends back here again, as will I. Thanks for a great evening!

Google
We stopped here on a whim since we were in the plaza. The lunch menu has plenty of good options. The olive bread, sugar-spiced salmon, and fettuccine with shrimp were all enjoyable, with reasonably sized portions. The outside area has a lovely view of Del Mar and the ocean. Service was pretty good when we were there. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I'm hoping to go back to have dinner in the future!

Google
The most amazing relaxing ocean view while having lunch. The dishes were delicious. Just felt the fish need more black pepper or seasoning.

Google
Fantastic dinner as always. We got to sit facing the sunset which was a lovely end to a long day. The service was super helpful at modifying a dish to make it gluten free and it was delicious- you’d never know it was a modification and not designed that way. This is a traditional favorite stop for us when we visit the area and it never disappoints.

Yelp
Great restaurant option right in the middle of a charming shopping area in Del Mar. Tables extend out to a patio with ocean views. We had a very nice lunch with some decent food. What we ate: - TUNA POKE NACHOS (4.25/5): Really tasty dish. All the toppings were fresh and worked well together. Be careful of the hot red peppers. They pack a punch! - CRISPY CALAMARI (4/5): Nice and fresh calamari. Batter was fairly light. Dipping sauces were flavorful. - sourdough bread (4/5) Service was friendly and attentive. Promptly served us food and was very helpful.

Yelp
Pacifica has been a staple in the Del Mar community for over 30 years. Here you'll find the perfect combination of laid back vibes and pure elegance. Pacifica specializes in a variety of delicious dishes including fresh seafood, steak and pasta. If the food wasn't enough to convince you to try this gem, the view is literally next level with stunning views of the pacific coastline. Also, the service was 10/10! Check it out on your next venture to Del Mar. What we ordered: TOMATO GAZPACHO garlic brioche crouton, evoo, basil BLUE LUMP CRAB CAKES romesco sauce, lime vinaigrette, arugula SEARED DIVER SCALLOPS lemon thyme velouté, summer succotash AHI TUNA glazed carrots, sushi rice cake, ginger-soy-shiitake butter MOCHA SEMIFREDDO dark chocolate gluten free cake, white chocolate espresso mousse, hard chocolate shell OLD FASHIONED ESPRESSO MARTINI Elyx Vodka, Kahlua, Espresso

Yelp
Let me preface this is the 2nd time I've come to this restaurant. That might say it wasn't memorable the first time. However, 15 minutes into the bunch I remembered a few things that rang true for this place. Again. The view is incredible and the place has a great patio overlooking the Del Mar downtown area and ocean. It has white linen tables and nice set-up which does welcome a nice environment. Unfortunately, the service is slow and quite terrible. 15 minutes without being greeted- mind you I was with a 5 year old. I would assume the staff should read the room in terms of serving customers. Kids aren't the most patience. The pre-fixe menu for Mother's Day has a great variety for both adults and kids adult was $60/pp - starter, entree, beverage + dessert. Kids was $25/pp- with entree, beverage + dessert. The food is mediocre at best. Items were a bit cold - assuming the server just took forever to expo. Also not much conversation from the staff - so would have to say the team don't come off friendly. I won't make the mistake going back. There are way better 100+ brunch for 2 in the area.

Yelp
View was amazing, located right in the middle of town in a restaurant hub. I had made a Tuesday, 7:30 dinner reservations for 2 on TOCK, requesting a window seat with a view along with letting them know we were celebrating an Anniversary. We did not use the parking garage, we found street parking. Upon arrival, we were greeted and seated at a table with a view. It took a while for our sever to acknowledge us sitting there, finally he came over and introduced himself: Kaleb. We ordered cocktails while deciding on what to order. We order a 1/2 dozen Oysters on the half shell, the Mixed Greens Salad, Steamed Mussels and Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut. The Oysters were excellent along with the Halibut. Salad was good, Mussels were big and fresh but the broth was very blah, not much taste. Our server Kaleb was OK, not the friendliest, very disinterested as I took not the other servers very energetic with customers celebration Birthday well wishes. So all in all an OK meal with OK service. BUT to note Management Customer service was excellent! We left our Credit Card and we were immediately informed with a phone call that it would be put in a safe and could be picked up the following day. So thank you! Atmosphere: very nice, worth the view. Food: OK. Service: OK

Yelp
Happy Hour Specific Review I LOVE places with happy hour on a Saturday! My absolute favorite. They have great deals on all the food and drinks, portions are pretty large for items like the pasta and salmon burger. Bartenders are attentive and give amazing recommendations, service from them was great! This place also has an ocean view so great for date night or a place to bring friends, great vibe! I will be back and hope everyone else gives it a chance, cheers xx

Yelp
Amazing food, the staff very warm and friendly. Our waiter was very helpful in choosing an entree, all three were very delicious. The ambiance and views were spectacular.

Nicole J.

Yelp
Sending my highest compliments to the chef for the fantastic halibut and salmon dishes. While the bok choy was overcooked and soggy, the halibut, sticky rice, and curry sauce that they were served on top of were unbelievably delicious. The sourdough was fresh, perfectly crisp and crunchy crust with a soft and chewy center. I also loved the Mulligatawny soup, though I did find it a tad heavy on the salt and not super forward on the curry flavor. My one complaint was the excessively slow speed of service. It took us 1.5 hours to get our food, so not sure if they went out fishing before playing their dinner. It tasted fresh enough to be possible ;)

Lacey M.

Yelp
Dinner with a view @pacificadelmar The star dish of the evening was the Black Tiger Shrimp Fettuccine Pasta with Asparagus in a Spicy Cream Sauce. We also tried the Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut with Soy Glaze in a Green Curry Coconut Sauce, which was cooked perfectly. The appetizers were Bread and Butter with Black Salt on top, Poke Nachos, and Hamachi Crudo. I recommend their Blackberry Mocktail And for dessert we had a Key Lime Tart with Berries and Burnt Cream.

Yelp
Beyond impressed by our experience at Pacifica Del Mar - I only wish I found out about them sooner! - PARKING - There's a parking structure directly connected to the Del Mar Plaza, which makes it easy for you to walk to and from your car quickly. I believed we paid $3.00/hr - not sure if some of the businesses validate parking or not, but we forgot to ask! - SERVICE/ENVIRONMENT - Pretty large area, with seating arrangements inside and outside - many will say the view is a huge part of Pacifica's appeal, and I would agree! The sun was setting when we came for an early dinner, and it was gorgeous! We were lucky to snag a table outside right at the edge too. Service was absolutely amazing from start to finish, super attentive and great attitudes all around! Once we ordered, our dishes came out fairly quick and in good cadence with courses. - FOOD - Salmon Belly Sashimi ($20.00): I'm a Salmon Belly girl, and so when I say this ended up not being my favorite out of the dinner items we had, that's when you know Pacifica has a lot to offer!!! The Salmon was nice and buttery, but I think it was a bit too lime-y to enjoy fully. Warm Olive Sourdough 1/4 Loaf ($3.00): 100% get this!!! It's only $3 but it will definitely elevate your dining experience, especially if you have anything sauce-y to dip in later on! The crust is amazing, and the inside of the loaf is so soft! The butter was delicious too! Steamed Mussels ($20.00): WOW these were absolutely amazing! This was just the start of being impressed, with the Mussels being cooked perfectly, and not a single one tasted ocean-y. The Red Curry Coconut Broth was delicious as well - the server kindly recommended we dip our Sourdough Bread in the sauce and it was amazing! Seared Diver Scallops ($41.00): These may have been the best cooked scallops I've ever had! At least one of the three we got was the epitome of a perfect scallop - the sear was great, but the inside was still soft! The second scallop was just slightly cooked longer but still very soft, and the third was similar to other scallops we've had in the past, where it's still delicious but had a chew. But that first scallop was enough to blow us away as we've never had one as good as that! Grilled 7oz Filet Mignon ($53.00): This was definitely the best Filet Mignon I've had. Super tender, great flavor, great sear. The accompanying Broccolini and Fingerling Potatoes were amazing as well. Pacifica's Burnt Cream (Creme Brulee - $9.00): We wanted to smack the top of the Cream to get the crack, but it fell short of our expectations by landing softly. However we were pleasantly surprised when we ate it, it definitely had some crunchy caramel bits! Very delicious!!! Key Lime Tart ($10.00): I think the crust was a bit drier than we wanted, but the lime custard was very good and had a nice tart level! - OVERALL - 10000% coming back to try out more of their menu items, as well as revisit the Sourdough Loaf, Mussels, and Scallops for sure!

Yelp
This place is one of the best places I had octopus. Must try the Spanish octopus. The drinks were very tasty and satisfying. The brazed short ribs melted off my fork. My friend had the halibut and it was perfect with the curry green sauce. If you come to Del mar a must try.

Yelp
Pacifica Del Mar is a charming seafood restaurant that boasts a breathtaking ocean view. This intimate eatery is perfect for a romantic date night, complete with weekly specials and signature cocktails that are sure to please. The menu at Pacifica Del Mar is full of delicious options to choose from and of course, no meal is complete without dessert, and Pacifica Del Mar has plenty of options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for something sweet and decadent, or light and refreshing, there's a dessert to suit every taste. Overall, Pacifica Del Mar is the perfect spot for a special occasion or a romantic night out. With delicious food, stunning views, and a cozy atmosphere, it's no wonder why this restaurant is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Next time you're in the area tell them GoosbyTwins recommended for you to experience it.

Yelp
Not good. One dinner out of 7 didn't come out for 15 minutes and was awful. One drink wasn't right and pasta for the kids had green stuff in it even though it said on the menu no green stuff. Rest of the food was just ok.

Emma S.

Yelp
Can i give more than 5 stars??!! Went to Pacifica Del Mar tonight for the first time for dinner. OMG I wish I had known about this restaurant earlier!! The view is worth the price of admission on its own but when you follow that up with amazing food and excellent service there is simply nothing better!! I had the diver scallops and my husband had the pan roasted halibut. Both were absolutely amazing! We ordered the Hamachi Crudo as an appetizer and, let me tell you, I could eat my weight in that stuff. SO DELICIOUS!! We finished our meal off with the key lime tart and banana browned custard. Amazing Ohhhhh I forgot to mention my Green Flash cocktail. Yummmmmm! Hanna was our server and she was excellent!! If you go to Pacifica Del Mar, ask for her. You won't be disappointed!!!

Tony T.

Yelp
Came for dinner and tried the ahi and the mushrooms. Both were very good and the place overlooks the ocean so if you hear during daylight, you can get a good view. The service was good and I enjoyed the whole experience. Parking can get a little crazy in the parking lot.

Nadine W.

Yelp
This restaurant has stunning ocean views and a beautiful view of L'Auberge hotel - it is a great relaxing environment a nice place to celebrate those special occasions- our waiter Caleb was great as well as the support staff - The food was good - was it oh my god the best - the greatest I ever had, am I running back no! Unfortunately the sign is of the times as it seems we have to make up for what restaurants lost during the covid years so you have to pay $40++ for an entrees that are good but not to die for... I would go back to try the appetizers and some of the side dishes - the drinks were tasty and only $15 for cocktails which is a steal - They do have HH if you sit inside at the bar - but the view is so great and enjoyable you should ask for patio seating for your first visit .

Yy Z.

Yelp
March 2024 Management and service are excellent and the food is amazing. The restaurant also offers a beautiful ocean view. As a local we always appreciate solid places to eat and visit.

Yelp
This iconic seafood restaurant in San Diego has been delighting diners for decades with its consistently delicious dishes and captivating sunset views. The delectable seafood offerings are a testament to their commitment to quality, making it a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts. The charming ambiance and breathtaking sunset backdrop create a memorable dining experience that keeps patrons coming back time and again. Service and people are always friendly there.

Yelp
I'm definitely in love with @pacificadelmar, the location, the view, the very nice people, the cool lovely vibe and for sure the very delicious food. everything was beyond expectation, highly highly recommended

Amanda T.

Yelp
Pacifica is located in the heart of downtown Del Mar, and has a great view of Del Mar Beach from their outdoor patio. I will say that I've only tried their lunch menu, so this review is strictly for that - I've heard better things about dinner, so I may come back to try their dinner menu to see if it's better. Lunch was okay, it wasn't bad at all, I was just expecting more from a place in Del Mar with relatively good reviews. There's definitely better places from lunch in the surrounding area. Food was slightly underwhelming, but the view did make up for it.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Over the decades, this shopping center transformed from a parking lot and supermarket where groms like me used to skate around on summer days, to an upscale, chic shopping plaza with some great restaurants and a beautiful outdoor dining area overlooking the ocean. Pacifica del Mar is one of the gems of this spot. The ambience is busy and loud inside-it wouldn't be my preferred area of choice for seating. But the outside patio is expansive and has an awesome view, space heaters for cool evenings, and the audio is much better for table conversation. Service here is fairly flawless and on time, no feeling of being rushed along to turn the table, and easy to find a waiter if and when you need one. I'm usually a light eater for dinner, but I decided to go in for both a salad and main course, and I didn't regret it at all. Salad was mixed greens, cranberries, candied walnuts and blue cheese, lightly dressed and just right. The greens were not quite as perfect and fresh as they could have been, but still great nonetheless. I had the scallops for dinner, 3 large scallops served with fava beans/corn succotash and a romesco sauce. The romesco was really just a red pepper puree, lacking any almond or other nut. I'm sure they figured most people would not know the difference. The pan seared tiger shrimp were generously sized, probably around 10-12 per pound. The squid ink risotto was rich, buttery and had great parmesan flavor. Octopus carpaccio was beautifully presented, a light plate served as an appetizer. You have to pay $3 for a basket of bread that provided about four generous portions, but the bread is also worth getting. For dessert I had a creme brulee. It was prepared in a ramekin that was a little too deep so it wasn't as creamy and firm towards the bottom as a creme brulee should be, but nonetheless was good. The top was a perfect crispy sugar shell done just right. The Chocolat Semifreddo was delicious, dark chocolate on the bottom with a deeply dark but non burnt caramel sauce. All in all, a great repeat dining experience after many years, and I would recommend going when you have the chance!

Courtney C.

Yelp
Beautiful view. Someone who resembled a supervisor was not friendly when we got there- got there right around 4pm and she said the kitchen was closed. The kitchen was indeed open, the dining room was not. You can order off the menu, it just needs to be at the bar and surrounding areas

Alicia L.

Yelp
Love everything about this place! The view, food and service was outstanding! I had some of the best mussels of my life! So plump and fresh, I almost thought I was back in the Burgundy region of France. We had a large group of 12 ladies and everyone loved their food as well. We arrived right at sunset and it was spectacular! Only complaint is they won't do separate checks so bring cash if you are in a group. It is 2023, almost 2024 so they have no excuses for not modernizing their point of sale system to the hand held credit card machines that can be brought to the table.

Bhadri K.

Yelp
Such lovely food and great views - def the highlights of Pacifica Del Mar. The freshness was evident in every bite and the seasoning was right on point. Sunset from the deck is so serene. The decor and vibe of the restaurant however could be a bit more up to the current trends - def feels dated. The food and service however more than makes up for that. Little video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CpjnoS9g-Y5/

Yelp
Amazing views with a selection of food! My husband and I really enjoyed this luncheon and wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon. The food itself was delicious and had much flavor! Really loved the sugar glazed spiced salmon since it was a mix of sweet and savory. Drinks were on point too!!

Natalie B.

Yelp
We sat out on their large patio which has a wonderful view of the ocean! We were one of the first tables of the night to get seated, but as the rest of the patio filled up it did get quite loud and difficult to hear conversations across our table. Great customer service though, our server in particular was superb. We ordered a variety of appetizers including the poke, calamari, and crab cake. The poke was nothing special, but the calamari and crab cake were both well prepared and very delicious! I got the salmon entree and it did not disappoint. Presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked :) My biggest takeaway from this place is that they certainly know how to prepare seafood!

Tammy N.

Yelp
Pacifica is such an incredible restaurant in Del Mar. The vibes here are great. Overall such a great spot for an ocean view! - Steamed Mussels: Comes with a curry sauce and it paired so well. - Crispy Calamari: Came with peppers and great dipping sauces. - Sugar-spiced Salmon: The best salmon I've had. The sugar glaze was delicious and perfect in every way. - Grilled Filet Mignon: Cooked to perfection. - Mocha Semifreddo: Delicious custard and mousse. The toffee on top was so good! - Pacifica's Burnt Cream: Such a great creme brulee, and loved it with the bananas on top! Service is so friendly and quick. Food came out fast and everything was delicious. Parking is street only or in the paid structure. Can't wait to come back!

Leah A.

Yelp
I had not dined at this restaurant in Del Mar in years. My fiancé and I had dined at Pacifica in Palm Desert a few times and found it to be very good. At this location, the food was mediocre at best with the mushroom risotto flavor ok and the portion very small. The halibut dish featured a generous portion of fish that was seared and poorly seasoned and so dry that the seared portion was inedible (hard and dry; I left it on the plate). Both dishes were barely warm. Service was very good, however, and well, the views were as expected, beautiful. We would return here only for drinks and maybe appetizers but not dinner. Too pricey not to have a great meal. Very disappointed!

Diane C.

Yelp
I love it when a restaurant keeps its consistency when you enjoy the service, food and drinks. This is definitely one of my favorites that I frequent often. Last weekend, I came for lunch with a friend. It was her first time and she loved it as much as I do. We ordered 2 spicy Margarita Olive Sourdough Mussels Squash soup Grapefruit martini As usual, everything was incredible! I love those Mussels with the French baguette so much that I could eat them every day. Those breads they bake are so yummy! This is definitely my favorite comfort food spot. I love it so much that I'm planning on going today just because I'm writing an updated review. I just LOVE this place!

Ryan H.

Yelp
We had reservations at 1 PM, but the host refused to sit us and asked to wait for half an hour!!! When 2/3 of the restaurant was empty!!! We were very upset and disappointed. I called the manager and let him know about their host unusual behavior, and he had no knowledge of this situation. He said he will loo k into this and let me know.

Maria E.

Yelp
Elegant, elevated dining, which of course means higher prices. They have steaks, seafood, various appetizers, desserts, etc. The views are beautiful and the ambiance is sophisticated. The service is efficient and friendly. The Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut is tender and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the sticky rice and I enjoyed the savory sauce it has. They have specials which at the time that we dined included t-bone steak, which was tasty and cooked just right at "medium". Other dishes the family recommends is the Salmon and the Filet Mignon. I wanted to try their brussel sprouts, but they were out during our dining experience. But their garlic spinach was delicious--tender, savory and with lots of garlic. The garlic mashed potatoes were good, but to be honest, isn't the best I've had--another version from another restaurant stick out in my mind as being more delicious. For dessert, if your sweet tooth is powerful, I recommend the "Mocha Semifreddo"--it is most definitely sweet, creamy and rich. The item I don't recommend is their bread appetizer. It was too hard and risky for the teeth. LOL! I prefer soft bread--maybe that's not how big spenders like it? LOL!! But anyway,I'd skip that.

Jeanie P.

Yelp
Great views and food. We were trying to sit outside but it was to hot so we asked to move lol great for brunch and drinks.

John M.

Yelp
Came in for lunch today. Had the blackened fish tacos for $17 and an iced tea. The server took a good ten minutes to come to our table to take the orders. She didn't bring any salt, pepper, hot sauce or sweetener for what I ordered. The fish tacos were pretty blah. Nothing special and not very much fish. Came with a handful of tortilla chips and a small amount of pico de Gallo. Pretty disappointed in the lunch service since dinner here is spectacular.

Gayle L.

Yelp
We love their Happy Hour on Sunday and Monday! Although, we all still miss their Japanese Clam chowder! It was the best in the universe!! This week we were yet again shocked and dismayed that they now took their phenomenal chocolate Bon Bon off their dessert menu! Why? What are they thinking? Apparently they do not care at all about their loyal diners.

Xavier L.

Yelp
Mediocre place. First- the good. Service staff are friendly. View is great overlooking the ocean. Top shelf bourbon at a reasonable price- Whistle Pig 12, Blantons, Pappy Van Winkle. The bad. 1.) Wife ordered an old fashion that tasted like Koop Aide and Tang. 2.) Calamari was HARD. Like overcooked? Undercooked? Not sure but not tender like all the other calamari I've had everywhere else. 3.) this got me- we weren't server bread, yet every table around us got bread! We asked the server for bread- "We ran out." Wtf? 4).) Saw the Branzino. Looked flat like a pancake. I ordered the T bone steak and nothing really set it off. It wasn't bad, just wasn't great. Overall- the location had a million dollar view. So much potential to be a GREAT restaurant, but fell short by a mile. I was here for fathers day, and I saw several graduation celebrants here. I feel the place needs to revamp the quality of the food. Waiter was friendly and I was going to let him know about some of the issues. But he never asked how everything was. So I felt compelled to have to write this unfortunate review...

James R.

Yelp
Mother's Day dinner with my wife. been awhile since we dined here. Had the calamari which was average but food went downhill from there. The Caesar Salad was bland with no detectable anchovies flavor and surely none of the little fishey. The Cioppino-- canned sauce? Shrimp--dry and flavorles. Mussels were ok. The white fish--dry and bad tasting. Quality ingredients can make this fish stew a memorable meal but not on Mothers Day 2024. The prices were not bad, just the food.

Valerie M.

Yelp
No complaints on a beautiful Sunday in Del Mar. Great service, brunch menu. The restaurant wasn't too busy, limited help but we still got great service. The food is consistent which is why we like it here. Patio dog friendly and the views are gorgeous.

Shashank R.

Yelp
Terrible food. Overcooked and burnt calamari. Lousy service and terrible ambiance. Had to get meds from CVS right after since we were sick to the stomach.

Stephanie D.

Yelp
We had a great time at Pacifica! It was the perfect spot to watch the sunset and the food was delicious! Highly recommend for a date night or fun night out! Our server was awesome too! So friendly and made our night!

Dan F.

Yelp
A lovely location, great outside (beach and ocean view) seating, and ocean views from most of the restaurant. Wait staff was friendly and helpful. Menu was limited. Parking is $7+.

Sony M.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place for lunch or dinner with a beautiful view then Pacifica, Del Mar, is the one to add to your list Located in Del Mar, Pacifica offers fresh seafood and delicious entrees in their menu. My fav was Sugar Spiced Salmon and Farfalle Pasta. Don't forget to try their desserts. Service is prompt and staff is friendly

Ron S.

Yelp
Was visiting family in SD and we decided for seafood. We headed here on a Thursday night! Great night! 1/2 price bottles of wine! Had a nice bottle of Caymus! Highly recommend! We had the Poke, the Halibut in Curry with Rice, the Short Rib and side of Brussels Sprouts. Our meal was amazing the server Kayla was amazing as well. Definitely plan on returning! We did outside seating on a nice night. Inside ambiance was great!

Hannah N.

Yelp
Even on a cloudy afternoon the views of this place are incredible. We went here for a mother daughter brunch day with some friends and had a great time. The service was quick and our waiter was very helpful with all of our needs. We each got a different flavor of mimosa, I went with the classic which is always a winner. I also ended up ordering the eggs benedict with breakfast potatoes. It was pretty good, the eggs were poached perfectly and the biscuit on the bottom was such a good touch compared to an english muffin. It really helped with the flavor and I of course added avocado because its always needed. We also for dessert got espresso martinis because why not drink your dessert and they were sooo good! They came in really nice cooper coups and the had the perfect amount of sweetness with espresso flavor. Highly suggest ordering one for your next visit!

Yelp
Service was great but it took forever to get our meal.... I think they were short handed. The server was running crazy poor thing, it happens. Dinner was good but dessert was meh.

Yelp
I haven't been here for a number of years but recently dined here and the food was excellent as I had remembered. The ambience is relaxed and the service is excellent and friendly. They have a popular bar but we sat in the dining area at a table. They have a large selection of cocktails and beverages. I had their salmon which was fantastic and something they are known for. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

Yelp
I came here for a team dinner on a work trip to San Diego and we were excited to try this spot after hearing great things from coworkers. We were able to easily make a reservation for 6pm on Monday night and were promptly seated once we arrived in the patio area. While the patio gives you a great view of the ocean / the sunset for dinner, do be aware that the sun can be pretty bright and we were pretty uncomfortable from the heat, especially people who were sitting facing the sun. Definitely bring sunglasses if you're seated outside. Onto the food - we ordered the calamari, both salads, and bread to start which were all good. We loved the fish sauce based dipping sauce that came with the calamari which added a good compliment to the rich spicy mayo. Between us, we ordered a variety of dishes, from the halibut, to swordfish, salmon and branzino. I personally ordered the branzino which was great and I love that they serve it whole! The fish itself could have had more flavor but the lemon on the side definitely helped and I loved the bed of farro it was served on. Dessert was good as well - we tried a variety with the bon bon, lemon tart, and chocolate fudge cake. All were good but nothing super spectacular. On a funny/interesting note, the menu states that the salmon is ~ harmoniously raised ~ so of course we had to ask what that meant. Our server struggled to answer this question and ended up simply saying that we could feel good eating it. Of course a lot of salmon nowadays state they are humanely raised but if it's included on the menu, probably good to make sure the staff know what it means and can explain it clearly.

Yelp
Food was good but service was horrible.. Server, don't remember her name (asian lady) did not come to check on us once. My wife had to ask 3 or 4 different times for straws after she repeatedly forgot.. On top of that, right when we got there my wife had asked if we can sit in the outside area, and they told her that area is closed until 7:30, yet they kept sitting people there... Please train your server some customer service and to treat all paying customers equally..

Yelp
- excellent quality seafood - We sat ate the bar inside Pacifica to wait for a table to open up. After about an hour an2 martinis we decided to take our name off the list and order at the bar. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. We were truly blown away by the attention to detail and the excellent flavours we experienced. I just came off a 6 hour motorcycle ride and didn't expect to be treated seriously, but the staff treated me with respect even though i looked like a homeless hobo. The wine selection is baller. Check this place out.

Yelp
Not the best place to take someone for their birthday. I made a reservation with a special request for a birthday celebration. No acknowledge on the birthday when we were seated. We order quickly because we were starving. I noticed everyone around me had bread. The waitress didn't offer or asked if we wanted bread. But I noticed every senior citizen who were all cocasaian, which was everyone in the restaurants, had some, and even those who were seated after us, had some. I was not impressed by this place. The food portion was tiny for the amount your spending. I was told it wasn't like this before from someone who recommended the place. The ambiance was nice, but anywhere that has an ocean view always is. If your wanting a meal and to celebration an occasion, go somewhere else and come to this place for the ocean view, take some selfish and celebrate somewhere that they acknowledge it. I give place a 2 star for just the view.
