"If you have an important client in town and you’re swiping the corporate card tonight, this is a good spot to remember. The small dining room is objectively beautiful and the waitstaff is certainly excited for you to be there, but duck terrine and the lamb chops aren’t quite good enough to validate the very steep price tag." - Brant Cox

If you want to taste a delicious Peking duck, I would not come here, it's not that good. The dumplings don't even look good, and taste bad. The varied meat noodles were fine. The service was mediocre. We do appreciate that they gave the money back for the dumplings though. Best of luck

We had the best meal on a cold, wet, rainy day in Paris! The owner assisted greatly with our menu selections, making superb recommendations. Everything was delicious , the atmosphere was delightful and the wait staff was top notch. If you live in Paris or are planning a visit, you must make sure and go here. The owner told us they make their own dumplings, the only restaurant in the city that does this. The dumplings alone were worth the visit, but everything we ate was mouth watering good. They even went beyond customer service with directions to get us home and some large trash bags to keep us dry on our walk home.

A friend who lives her took us here for Chinese food. We had Peking duck, eggplant, potstickers, Bao, shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling, chao main and chao fan. Food were delicious here especially the duck and durum. Service was great. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.

A good place for dimsum, foods above average, not crowded. Staff were friendly. Add @July2024 still the best dimsum and Canton cuisine I have tried in Belleville, Paris.

Very well situated in the heart of Belleville, this traditional Chinese restaurant has all the classic dishes, including the Beijing duck. You have local Hong Kong dishes with its dim sums and the food was pretty good overall! Staff was friendly as well.

Literally the best Chinese restaurant ever in paris. Went back here for almost the 4th time already and they always nailed the food. The place is big so perfect for family, friends, & events. Recommend this place to my friends and they loved it. The rotisserie, the dim sums, were fantastic! Definitely will come back here again.

It's solid: the service is fast and on the nice side for the neighborhood and type of outlet. The food is ok - not spectacular but definitely good on average. It's also quite affordable!

Yelp
One of the best Cantonese food in Paris, but they can improve their presentation and availability on Deliveroo. Their specialty is Riz Cantonnais and Nouilles Soupe avec Raviolis de Crevettes, Aubergines avec Porc, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are a bit far for people who live outside the 19e. It is lively and is a rather large place with many seats. Closed on Mondays, as are many Chinese shops and restaurants in the area. Metro: Belleville.

Yelp
The food is surprisingly good at this family-style Chinese restaurant in Belleville. Our steamed raviolis were soft and delicious, the roasted pork, cut into thick slices and served with roasted peanuts, was tender and juicy, the marmite of fish was loaded with fresh ginger, and the fried squid in spicy dipping sauce was crisp and light. While ooohing and aaahing over our various dishes we suddenly realized that not only was the food great, but that the decor was phenomenal too in that over-the-top-late-70s-way with its wood-paneling, bronze ceiling sculptures and metal murals intertwined with giant fish tanks. Not only that, the service was fantastic, especially the waitress who kept cooing at our kid in Chinese. We'll definitely be back for more of all of the above.

Yelp
I'm shocked by how ignorant French people are with regard to cantonese cuisine. In a nutshell - this restaurant serves really ho hum Cantonese food and bad dim sum.

Yelp
If I had rated this restaurant in another city, it probably would have gotten 3 stars. In Paris, dim sum is hard to find. In fact, they call it cuisine a la vapeur. This place hit the spot and filled the need for char siu bau, ha gao, and siu mai. (A variety of dim sum.) They didn't have a huge dim sum menu, they didn't have carts of steaming dumplings, but they did serve dim sum at reasonable prices in an authentic setting.
