"Located in a former Taco Bell, Paco’s is home to burritos, enchiladas, arroz con pollo, and sought-after Jalisco-style birria tacos that keep the door revolving from open to close. Many people stick to chicken, steak, and pork tacos, but it’s worth exploring the entire menu for other gems like tripa and lengua. Paco’s is also one of the few Mexican restaurants in town to offer breakfast, when you can find chilaquiles and platters of eggs served up with chorizo, bacon, or ham." - Mike Gillis

Food was good, meat tasted different but not bad, just different still good. Very nice people. Ordered a good amount and didn’t take as long as we expected.

Stopped 5/5/24 for Cinco de Mayo First time trying it. Got beef & chicken tacos, pico de gallo, salsa, queso, chips, refried beans, street corn & pastel 3 leches. Was hoping to be wowed…but I’d say overall everything was so/so Street corn was very good, refried beans super runny. Seasoning on chicken for chicken tacos great, pico fresh, salsa & queso nothing special Very clean inside Very pleasant young gentleman took our order with a smile

Today was my 2nd time stopping in to grab lunch and my experience was just as good as the 1st. Super clean environment when you walk in, excellent & friendly customer service and my birria tacos were absolutely delicious 😋 This is a taco spot you want on your list if your local. I know I'll be back soon for my next taco fix lol!

Google
Always a good choice for some quick Mexican food. You can't go wrong. 🌮🌯🫔

Google
The food was tasty . Quick service . I didn’t like that there was no ice for my $5 drink . No lids for the salsa station. The art on the walls was cool. Small parking lot . Will be back but maybe for take out .

Google
It’s cool. I received my food fairly quickly even though they were pretty busy when I arrived. I ordered the steak and chicken tacos, pretty decent, but the meat was a little dry, but the green sauce made up for it. Cool for late night quick grab.

Google
I been having Paco’s tacos for a very long time and I love their food but I’m very disappointed and dissatisfied how drastically the size of the tacos has changed. Am I the only one who noticed this? I don’t mind paying the price of the taco but the size of the tortilla is not worth the price. Even the regular tacos are small, don’t get me wrong I love this place but come on don’t take advantage of peoples money like that. Customer like me who have been eating there for years will obviously notice the difference in size. I would deeply appreciate if you guys would at least used the regular size tortilla. Consomé cup also are super tiny, come on Paco’s taqueria don’t disappoint me/us.

Good authentic Hispanic food. Always fresh and quick.

Yelp
Came here for the first time for a late lunch and made an online order for the shrimp burrito. Walking in, the restaurant was extremely clean and I was immediately greeted by staff. The burrito itself was delicious and the quality of shrimp was excellent! Ingredients tasted very fresh and the burrito was expertly rolled (I hate when burritos fall apart!). The size of the burrito was a standard serving size - not a typical jumbo-sized burrito, but was still filling.

Yelp
Actually i stopped at the food truck on 82nd street. I got a mexican burrito without sour cream or cheese (cant have dairy) and added guac instead. The location is decent and there is space to park. The service was fine, just one gentleman at the window. The burrito was huge, packed full. Wasnt a whole lotta taste. I poured all my salsa on it to add flavor. Everybody ravs about this place but i wasnt impressed. I might give the brick n morter a try...

Brady R.

Yelp
A solid Mexican option in the area. I opted for a veggie burrito and chips/salsa. It came with several sauce options. The habañero one was delicious. Great price for the amount of food. Good service and relatively quick. Was hopping when I was there!

Yelp
Recently moved to Indianapolis. I eat a lot of tacos. Pacos has become my favorite go to taco spot! My fav is the fish taco! The churros are good. I have not had anything bad at Pacos!

Bruce F.

Yelp
One of my favorite places for authentic Mexican food. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and The portions are huge. I ordered fish tacos and they really loaded up on the fish. Normally you get more of the "fixings" and less meat. They offer sauces from mild to spicy. The food here is reasonably priced for the amount you get. If you're on the east side check this place out!

Joaquin R.

Yelp
Ordered takeout; Mexican Burrito, No cheese no dairy, Vegan. It had cheese but honestly it was so damn good, I don't even care. Will be coming back upon my next visit to Indy.

K W.

Yelp
Great local taqueria. Staff is very friendly and food is always fresh and tasty. Big fans of the consome con birria and the asada street tacos. Note if you're ordering for takeout or delivery, they have 2 locations on 86th street - one by Keystone and one by Michigan road.

Arielle H.

Yelp
Tried food truck during All-Star weekend and unfortunately was not impressed. Ordered steak quesadilla thinking it be filled with steak and cheese flowing out however, it was barely stuffed with steak or cheese. Pico de gallo and sour cream were fresh though and definitely need it for the dry quesadilla.

Yelp
I stopped by Paco's Tacos on Keystone to grab a bite to eat for lunch. They're currently remodeling the actual restaurant so they're operating out of their food truck at this time. I order a steak taco and two tapatio tacos which is essentially birria tacos. I waited about 5 mins and my food was ready. When I got to my car, I checked my food and noticed the steak meat appeared old. I touch it and it was cold. I also touch the corn tortilla, which was cold as well. The tapatios felt warm to touch. I took the steak taco back to the food truck and let them know it was cold. The person snatched the box and gave it to her coworker. Five minutes later I was given another taco, but this time, it was lukewarm. I didn't want to wait again, so I took it back to my office and warmed up all my food. Unfortunately, the steak taco lacked flavor, and the tapatios were soggy and the consume tasted like beef broth. They did give me 4 different salsas to choose from. They were tasty. I spent $15 on this lunch, and it was disappointing and not worth it. I'm not sure if this is due to them operating out of the food truck or if this is the standard, but I probably won't return.

Sophie O.

Yelp
They did not have any water, no bottle or fountain. Tacos Tapatios 7.7/10 (Two tacos that are composed of melted shredded cheese on the grill with onion, cilantro and Birria.) - my first time having birria tacos. Super messy, not sure what I was expecting. Street Corn 7.5/10 (The Elote is a kernel corn topped with mayonnaise, cheese and chili powder) - came in a small cup, hard to mix up. Would ask for a separate tray for this. Refried Beans 7.5/10 - enjoyed these. Soupy texture which I like. Queso 7/10 - chips trash, queso mid. Really thin Pastor Taco ?/10 (A single marinated pork with onions and pineapple taco with two corn tortillas.  The pastor taco  can be topped with onions and cilantro) Chicken Taco ?/10 (A single grilled chicken taco with two corn tortillas. The chicken taco  can be topped with onions and cilantro)

Yelp
Twice now I've been given wrong pickup times for my order. The first time I received a text alerting me to my food being ready for pickup . I drove over, about 5 mins, only to be told they hadn't even started it and it would be another 10-15 mins. Ok 1 times not too bad. The second time I ordered, I waited over an hour with no text notification only to drive over and be told that order was ready 30 mins ago. Is this kinda of petty. Yes, but I had a limited time for lunch that day and I ended up eating my order for dinner

Carolene M.

Yelp
This is a new restaurant in this strip across the street from Keystone at the Crossing Mall. While out shopping, I decided to try it. I'm glad I did! It's a restaurant where you walk up to the counter to order like at a fast food restaurant, but the food is really good. They had true birria tacos with the true consumme sauce, which are super hard to find in Indy and surrounding area. I've been back. One time I got a Mexican burrito. It was humongous! And was under $12. It's my new favorite Mexican restaurant.

Jeffrey W.

Yelp
Want to commend Paco's for sending a food truck and assisting with an outdoor party on Monument Circle a couple months ago on behalf of my workplace! The food truck had a good sized selection. Despthe crowd, the workers were able to serve up good food to customers in reasonable timing. Like any good burrito, the one I ordered was big and well stuffed with good flavor! Many thanks to Paco's!

Stasia K.

Yelp
Great burrito, but what was even better than the food was the online ordering option. I always appreciate a business that allows me to order online and then pick up the order in person rather than delivery.

Alexandria H.

Yelp
If you are looking for something quick and in the middle for Mexican I would say to stop but if you're wanting something good......keep going. It had been some time since I have been to Paco's and after going again I remembered why. The food is pretty bland and doesn't stand out. This was probably the smallest chimichanga I have ever had and it wasn't cheap!! The meal cost me $14 and it wasn't even good. To say I was disappointed in the amount I spent would be an understatement. I also ordered chips and guacamole and guess what......you pay for them SEPARATE!!! $5 for the guacamole and another $3 for chips! Can you believe it?!?! I sure couldn't. I will say the guacamole was pretty decent but it definitely wasn't $5 good. Mi Amor ordered chicken tacos and he was equally unimpressed. The service was great though! Everyone was friendly and quick to take our orders. They didn't have an agua fresca which was disappointing but they had some purple drink which was pretty tasty. I had a mandarin Jarros and unfortunately it wasn't cold and they don't have ice.... It was pretty quiet when we went it looks like they might close for an hour or two in the middle of the day. Or at least when we were there all the chairs were on top of the table. Like I said I wouldn't go out my way to go there whatsoever, but if you're starving....you'll be satisfied.

Jamie D.

Yelp
I went to the food truck today. I was actually supposed to be going to a Yelp event but the place was closed. I saw this place on the corner of 86th and Bash and thought I'd give it a try. I got 2 tacos and chips and queso. I was a little sad the guacamole was out but I went with the queso. The 2 tacos were delicious! I can't decide which one I liked better. I got an asada and a pastor. They are small but there is so much meat on them 2 was plenty! I also got the habanero sauce and let me tell you it was but so good! The queso was also delicious but I had no room for it after those tacos. A little tip, dump the habanero sauce in the queso and you won't regret it! There's is no seating at all so car dining is the way you eat it. I will be back!

Maria F.

Yelp
Great food!! We've had their birria tacos and their pizza tapatia. Both were delicious!! Their churros weren't as good as other places but still decent

Michael S.

Yelp
Paco's Taqueria is an excellent Mexican restaurant with fresh ingredients and quality products. The chicken tacos are superb and magnificent! The street corn is phenomenal and the queso goes very well with chips. It has been a while since I visited the location, but the ambiance is nice with good decor and the service is excellent! I can tell they put their heart and soul into their food because it comes out very professional and with great flavors. Everything at Paco's is terrific and you will not have a bad meal no matter what you choose for lunch or dinner. Paco's is #1 in my book and will always be a top notch Mexican restaurant. Everyone should experience Paco's Taqueria at some point in time while in Indy.

Rachel S.

Yelp
Paco's had remarkable service on a busy night! I've always enjoyed their food, but it had been awhile since my last visit. From my past experiences, I know their wait times can be long on busier nights as a small restaurant. I advise ordering in advance or for takeout in order to combat this and improve your overall experience. Although the team was having system issues when I arrived, my order was still ready close to the estimated time online. The cashier kindly offered a free drink (horchata) for my wait, which was unnecessary but so kind. For food, I recommend the carne asada (steak) burrito. While I noticed some reviews mentioning a small size, my burrito was stuffed and delicious when paired with their fresh salsas. The salsa verde was my favorite! Since my last visit, Paco's rebranded their signage and online presence, which is great! Dining inside the space was fine, but it got crowded at times with people waiting for takeout orders and in the winter there was a cold draft by the windows. It won't detract from your overall experience if you go in with this understanding, but in the future I will likely order my food to go. They have a small attached parking lot, but beware that's tight and challenging to get in and out during their busy dinner times. Pro tip: Be sure to check for any online specials! When glancing at the online menu, I noticed they were offering a deal for free churros with an online order over $20. The complimentary churros were delicious and paired with a sweet caramel dipping sauce.

Yelp
Food is fantastic. The service and atmosphere lacks an inviting vibe. You have a great product. Protect it with warm friendly inclusionary customer service. I'll be back soon.

Audrey A.

Yelp
Good service, fresh food, good flavor and simple but clean atmosphere. I am a picky eater and they accommodated my request. 9.5/10

Linda L.

Yelp
The Tapatio tacos = Birria tacos. It came with a great consume, limes, meaty cheese. I would def get these again! My friend has shared some lengua or tongue tacos here that I've enjoyed. But I didn't see them today. The elote or corn was good. They were a little watery, but good. They have tons of catering options. Service was good, and was a quick stop in.

Alesha M.

Yelp
IYKYK. Pacos Tacos has been a staple to us Sobro natives for decades! Simply - great, affordable, fast mexican food. You can't go wrong with their tacos - everything is cooked fresh right in front of you and they have a variety of salsa's, I like the salsa verde. Pre veg life - I love the Al Pastro which has fresh pineapple bits. The tortas are also wonderful and burritos are LOADED. You also can't go wrong with the chips and queso. O also don't forget to induldge in some house made horchata. Ah.

Lisa J.

Yelp
Paco's has authentic Mexican food. You can tell it's handmade to order. They also have a salsa bar with several different salsa varieties. There is an area to sit and dine in but it seems like a majority of their business is carry out. I had the beef tacos on a flour tortilla with a side of beans and an order of chips and salsa. The chips were good and tasted fresh.

Austin C.

Yelp
Absolutely perfect! Is all that comes to mind when describing Paco's my family and myself had a time. If your are looking for Tijuana style Mexican cuisine I highly recommend this establishment!

Phil B.

Yelp
Very nice busy spot I driven by many many times. Located in what was built as a Taco Bell decades ago. The menu us realtivly simple. But still lots of stuff. We had chicken quesadilla, two beef tacos and elotes. Friends got chorizo tacos and eotes. Friends thought the chorizo was dry but good flavor. One that had the elotes was hoping for more heat but he was still happy with all the cheese and lime. They also really liked the chips and queso. I had the beef tacos. I always forget how diffrent real mexican tacos are. No lettuce or cheese. Just meat , onion and cilantro in a corn tortilla. I ate the beef and left the corn tortillas. I don't like corn tortillas. The beef was well seasoned. Husband wad happy with his chicken quesadilla. Chips and queso were very good. They had Jamaica ( hibiscus tea ) which makes me happy.

Jenna W.

Yelp
Rip off! Gristly meat. Tiny sides. Dirty ice stored in the sink. No lights or A C. Hot, uncomfortable atmosphere and bad food. Go anywhere else!

Larry C.

Yelp
Never had a bad meal here. Arroz con pollo, Barbacoa and Al pastor tacos are amazing, but my favorite overall are the Birria tacos. You didn't know you needed these in your life until you're missing them. Plus real cane sugar Mexican coke makes my meal and my day. Taco emergency? Call Paco!

Andrea K.

Yelp
**warning** bloating is a possible side effect from these tacos butttt IT IS WORTH!!!! These are the best tacos I have had in Indiana so far. I come from Cali and I'm a little picky with my tacos. I do think they are a little pricey compared to Cali tacos. They have a salsa bar where you can help yourself. They have tap to pay! And food comes out quickly. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Mike K.

Yelp
I have been wanting to stop here for some time- and tonight was the night! Paco's dis not disappoint. Cool graffiti type art work on the walls. The place was very busy and we had to wait a little bit for our food. But definitely worth it! My son had a couple tacos (Carnitas and Barbosa), while I had the Carnitas quesadilla. We also had a side of chips and queso. Everything was very fresh and delicious. Even the green salsa, while they called it hot, was not extremely hot but had a lot of flavor. Not fancy, but very delicious. It is nice that they had a selection of Mexican beer and soft drinks. We will definitely be back!

Lottie C.

Yelp
Their carne asada quesadilla is very good, def will come back. Service was very good. The environment is kinda of yucky, parking lot need to be revamp, too many potholes, cracks

Ryan S.

Yelp
Checking out the new Paco's Taqueria location on 86th! Birria Tacos we're amazing and we love a fresh Shrimp Taco!

Nicky M.

Yelp
Value for $ is low. High priced tacos without a lot of actual filling. A side of rice is $2.99 and comes in a very small, styrofoam container. No plasticware or salsa is provided, even if requested in notes. I so miss my Roberto's Taco Shop chain in San Diego. There is no comparison.

Teah R.

Yelp
I have passed by here multiple times before stopping in and one day my friend suggested we try it. It's nothing special from the outside looking in - a little hole in the wall-y. However, the food was delicious! Most hole in the wall places have THE BEST food. I got a pork and steak taco that were pretty good, pork more so than the steak. And I never get pork! It was juicy and flavorful. I also had a side of rice that was delicious. We got queso on the side and my friends ordered arroz con pollo. It looked DELICIOUS and was smothered in so much cheese. They also ordered the mexican juice but it was way too sweet for our liking. They have a parking lot but be warned - there is a HUGE pothole as you pull in/out so be on the lookout for that. Overall, great spot that I'm sure gets overlooked often!

Jemma C.

Yelp
The food was delicious! I am Latina and just moved to town and I'm so happy I found this place. I had their torta and birria tacos. I think it's a little bit on the pricy side for hole in the wall Mexican food, but would come again!

Kim A.

Yelp
The Tacos Tapatíos were very good and I do recommend for a quick bite, but the meat did not taste like authentic birria. The food is decent here, but it is very much catered to those who do not eat Mexican food regularly. The salsas were ok - not any spice at all. The hygiene practices in this restaurant are questionable. They do not have any serving cups at all for the salsas and the salsas are just out in the open. The restaurant also does not offer any ice for their beverages so make sure to consider that before ordering any fountain beverages.

Kristen C.

Yelp
The dinner box gifted us this delightful spot for date night, so away we went. We wanted to tey as much as possible, so we opted for the 10-taco box and added the birria. These tacos brought me joy. There's not much else I have to say. The al pastor were a tad over cooked, but the flavor was decent. The birria weren't as messy as I'd like, but the consomme was amazing. The carne asada tacos were fantastic.

Nicole A.

Yelp
Love love love Paco's Tacos so authentically delicious you have to try their taco tapatios the broth is so good you literally can just drink it.. don't let the exterior of the restaurant fool you it's safe and good!

DeAndrea B.

Yelp
I'm a taco expert (self titled) however I have been wanting to try this place for two years. We've drives by several times to and for some reason we never stopped. Then one night my husband finally said let's stop and try them. I was hesitant about stopping because the line was so long. But it is worth the weight. The tacos are so meaty and it's such a huge portion. The staff is very friendly but prepare for a wait because it's made fresh I'm already planning my next visit

Khamara K.

Yelp
Do you want some mouth watering Tapatios??? Well then you need to visit Pacos :) Customer service is always a 10/10, you won't have to wait very long for your food even on their busy days. I can't really review on any of their other food because I get the same thing every time I go, 3 tapatios and elote and it's amazing each time. Definitely recommend coming here!

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
Delicious food, great service, clean eating area. I love the carne asada when I'm eating regular diet, there's is the best! The tacos and nachos are fire! The shrimp tacos and burrito is delicious. They also had vegan tacos that were wonderful. I love the limes on the side! Might go back again tomorrow. No pics...ate it all...fast.

M G.

Yelp
Their Barria Tacos & Street Corn are simply amazing. Packed with flavor and perfectly crisped outside. Could eat these again and again.

Etienne L.

Yelp
Great food, first time in Indianapolis and we passed by that place, we stopped as we saw good reviews. Great tacos and quesadillas:)

Teresa W.

Yelp
Really great place. Would get 5 stars if the parking was better. Excellent authentic tacos.

AJ M.

Yelp
Solid Mexican food- would recommend the chimichanga and the churros. All of their salsas, guacamole, and queso are so flavorful and tasty. Service is great too!

Danielle P.

Yelp
Chorizo taco: 10/10 Chicken taco: 9/10 Green sauce: 10/10 Mexican burrito: 6/10 (stick with tacos!) The tacos are really really good and filling. I was full after 2. The corn tortillas are great. Food truck parked on 82nd and Bash is also amazing!

Samantha C.

Yelp
We ordered the Taco Family Box for delivery between the 5 of us, and it was the perfect amount of tacos. The carne asada tacos, and shrimp tacos were my favorite!! The queso and guacamole were in smaller containers. So if you have a large group, I'd recommend ordering more!

Anita A.

Yelp
I have heard awesome things from this place so I finally decided to check it out. Everyone was very nice and quickly took our order. I got their tapatios, Elote and horchata. The horchata was very tasty and one of the best I've had! I highly recommend getting it! The tapatios were good, crispy and tasted fresh. Two come in one order. I felt that the dipping sauce was lacking a bit of heat or some kind of seasoning, however overall it was delicious. Now the elote, was not good. They used frozen corn and it just tasted watery, and the toppings were just bland. I feel like maybe elotes should not be sold if fresh corn cannot be used.Overall it was good.

Sarah S.

Yelp
I finally tried Paco's Taqueria after putting it off for waaaay too long, and wish I had gone sooner. I order two carne asada taco with cilantro, onion, and lime wedges. You receive copious amount of meat in your taco. No complaints, but couldn't finish my second one. The carne asada was seasoned well. For desert I ordered some churros, and they were the best churros I've had in Indy. I still think about them whenever I see an image of churros. SO GOOD. To drink I ordered an horchata. The horchata wasn't my favorite and it left a film on my teeth, so that would be the only thing I wouldn't order again. As long as the food is good, I'll be a repeat customer. Staff is friendly. I did have to wait awhile for my food because they were busy when I went at noon. So if patience is a skill you are working on, then I would encourage you to go at a slower time. There is a small/tight lot connected to the building. Paco's Taqueria also provides catering. I ordered through ezcarter and would HIGHLY recommend. I ordered food for 10 people at my job, and the amount of meat we had could feed AT LEAST 25. Definitely a great bang for your buck. The food also arrived early/on time. The two individuals who came also helped set up the food. I had ordered Paco's Taqueria for my firm after my experience. My firm LOVED the food and commented how we need to order from Paco's Taqueria moving forward rather than from where they had been ordering (before me) at Moe's Southwest Grill.
