I went to Pad Thai Cafe for lunch. Usually, it's pretty busy during lunch, but today we were able to get a table right when we walked in. I had been to Pad Thai Cafe many time back when it only had the restaurant, but now it's opened a grocery store next door. The restaurant serves typical Thai food as well as some chef's specialty dishes. We ordered a handful of dishes to share, and a couple of the highlight dishes were the Jalapeño Wings, Yum Salad, and Fresh Spring Rolls. Jalapeño Wings are crispy, salty and a hint of sweet, together with onions and jalapeños. We typically order Papaya Salad, but they were out, so we switched to Yum Salad- Beef. It's surprisingly good, light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Serve it with romaine lettuce leaves. Fresh Spring Rolls- Shrimp, a perfect starter option, shareable, it's consists of cucumber, lettuce, noodle and shrimp, rolled in a rice paper and served with sweet and sour sauce.
Overall, the food is delicious, the service is great. However, parking can be difficult during peak hours. The restaurant has limited seating, so it may be a challenge to accommodate big parties. During rush hour, it will be difficult to get a table without a long wait.
