The 20 Best Pubs In London (For Every Situation) - London - The Infatuation

"There’s something very British about a brown-wooded bungalow in Paddington with carpets that smell like the memories of a trillion pints. But the food at The Heron isn’t British—it’s some of the best Thai food in London. Fierce sour and spicy seafood salads will do their best to keep you warm, but if not, an enormous bubbling tom yum will do the trick." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, sinead cranna

I visited Pad Thai Cafe at Camden Market and was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean and inviting, with a cosy atmosphere that makes it perfect for sitting in and enjoying your meal. The food was fresh and full of flavour, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. I tried the Pad Thai, and it was excellent – perfectly cooked noodles, fresh vegetables, and a well-balanced sauce. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty, freshly prepared Thai food in a comfortable setting.

Wonderful food, excellent staff a and a real taste of Thailand that is just as tasty as my last trip to Phuket. The only thing I would change is to add some heaters. It was bloody cold sitting at the counter 😁

Came across this place whilst visiting Camden for a day. After walking past many Asian food stalls where staff were sticking food samples in your face, I wasn’t convinced that they were genuinely Thai, because I know that’s not Thai style. When I managed to escape all the noise, I came across Pad Thai cafe situated in a nice quiet corner. I could easily tell from the menu items that they are genuine Thai people cooking and serving authentic Thai food, turned out my instinct was right! I ordered a Pad Ga Prao minced beef with 2 fried eggs, and requested everything in Thai street food style please (that means proper spicy), and yep, they didn’t disappoint. The rice was included as part of a dish, and it was A LOT of it. A fried egg was also included but I asked for an extra egg, and asked for them to be crispy on the outside with runny yolk (Thai style), and they were spot on. The Pad Ga Prao itself was delicious. It was cooked dry (as in not drenched in sauce, which is the proper way to make Pad Ga Prao) with beef mince, onions, bamboo shoots and tiny bit of green beans (but mostly beef) and no carrots nonsense. I added soy sauce to the fried eggs, which was fine but would have preferred fish sauce personally (was too busy chatting and forgot to ask). Half way through eating in a 33 degree midday heat I ordered Thai iced tea, and that massively helped cooling me down. I thoroughly enjoyed that meal. I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. Everything was cooked fresh and the people there were lovely and friendly. Trust me, I’m a Thai person. Go support a local business! Khob Khun Ka 🙏.

Nice stall im Camden Market area. I went on a Saturday so it was really busy. It is located on a food hall so it is loud and congested. I had the pad thai and it was delicious very flavor and not too sweet. The noodles were cooked perfectly and was just the right amount of food.

Small place tucked in before the bridge. I got spring rolls and the chicken pad Thai - best Thai food I have ever had in my life. I'm still thinking about it hours later. It was a great amount of food for the price paid, and I appreciated that they weren't pushing free samples or being very in your face like the other vendors in the food hall. I might make the trek back for this place alone.

Fresh off of our travels from Thailand, we wanted to try some Pad Thai in London, so my expectations were a little high and unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. There was a an overwhelming flavour of sweet chilli sauce in the noodles. Maybe the other items on the menu would have been better, will try them next time!
