Pad Thai Restaurant

Google
Good place with fine food. Very well decorated. I had Red curry in other Thai restaurants before, it could be better. The gravy was less and felt like the veggies were not sautéed at all. Tried summer rolls for the first time and yes, would love to have it again here, they were fresh. Pad thai noodles and Thai tea were the best among all the items. Would definitely come back to try other items. Good portion size too.

Google
Loved the menu! Started with Lycee martini it was divine with 3 lycees. Followed with the soft pork spring with peanut sauce! It was amazing! Had the shrimp curry massaman with a sweet spicy sauce! It was heaven. Loved chicken wings so tender and juicy. Wonderful service! Will make it and soon!

Google
This place was so GOOD. Much more than pad thai. Great service. Great vibes. And fantastic food. The worst thing about the place is likely the generic sounding name that may make people skip past it. Give it a try!

From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for something special. The warm, inviting ambience wrapped around me like a welcome hug—soft lighting, elegant décor, the beauty of outdoors, inside, and a gentle hum of conversation that set the perfect mood. The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic Thai flavors so fresh and perfectly balanced that my palate was dancing with joy. Every bite felt like a celebration. The service? Impeccable. Grant embodied the kind of genuine hospitality that feels rare these days—attentive without being intrusive, friendly yet professional, and deeply committed to ensuring we felt valued. He even remembers my husband and I when we returned. It was a dining experience that not only satisfied my hunger but also reminded me of what true customer care is all about. Thank you Pad Thai Restaurant - May your years of service be long and prosperous!!!!

Google
We have ordered carryout from here several times. Their tiger cry beef and pad gaprow are to die for. I'd heard that they have really good cocktails and wanted to dine in for a change. The decor is beautiful, such a pretty and relaxing place to have drinks and a meal. The drinks were spectacular and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back for fun date nights in the future.

Google
This is the best in KC!! All the dishes are of excellent quality ingredients giving an outstanding authentic taste. Craft drinks are very good too.

Google
This is our favorite restaurant ever! The staff is INCREDIBLE - everyone is so friendly and they get it right every time. It feels like a family. Annie, the owner, is so sweet and makes a point to introduce herself to everyone that comes in. The drinks are great (and unique), and the food is fantastic. We’ve tried many different items on the menu, and each is outstanding. They also have many GF options. The vibe in the restaurant and on the patio feels like a magical getaway. Any time we have visitors, we take them here. I leave here feeling happy every time! COULDN’T RECOMMEND MORE!!!!!

Google
This is such an amazing place. Our server was fantastic. Food amazing. The owner is very attentive to all of the guests. I really wish we lived here. We started with steamed vegetable pot stickers, crab ragoon, my entree drunken noodles (excellent), and my husband had curry rice with veggies. He was really impressed.

Yelp
The first thing that I noticed as I approached the restaurant was the exterior. The lights on the outside, the odd plant set out, the lettering on the glass, all of it emitted a sense of sophistication. Artistic. If I'm to be honest, it felt like it would be expensive (it was not). Then, as I walked in, I realized the interior was even better. It is a "you have to see it to understand" type of experience. From the elegant dishes to the tables and chairs, everything fit together perfectly. It was exquisite. At this point some might say I am embellishing. They may point out nitpicked flaws. These people are those who think art must be perfect and forget nothing ever is. I digress, I'm sure you wish for me to get to food, service, and price. The food was amazing. I ordered the Tiger Cry Beef and the second the perfectly cooked, marinated, meat hit my tongue I wanted to weep. It was succulent, tender, and packed with flavor. The noodles (I had substituted) were cooked just right and the service was great. Everyone greeted me with respect and, dare I say, great cheer. They were professionally charming and warm. All of this felt as if I had found myself, quite by accident, in an upscale restaurant where every bite would cost me a fortune...yet that was not the case. The price, maybe slightly above average, was worth every penny I paid. From the beginning to the end it was an unexpected amazing experience. I recommend coming here, especially if you have a first date or anniversary. It was excellent.

Yelp
Food is good. Got the Pad Thai and Panang Curry. Serving size was just okay. The owners are very nice and the restaurant is also nice.

Yelp
Seriously good Thai food! Classy vibes, friendly servers, ice cold Thai beers and the food. I didn't take nearly enough photos because I was Hungry. The peanut sauce, drool. The beef fried rice was sooo good, Pad Thai (classic) & Massaman Curry slapped. So good, left with leftovers!!

Yelp
Don't let the very generic name fool you - a small yet classy restaurant with lots of natural lighting and ambiance a step fancier than your typical family owned Asian restaurant making it a great place for a nice meal if you have a dinner date or celebrating a special occasion. While the dishes are slightly more pricy , the taste and portion size makes it totally worth it! This was great for a family style meal. I always make sure to have a dinner here at least once when I visit home. The crispy garlic pork (medium spice) is a flavor bomb with the sweet and spicy soy sauce coating the battered pork - this is my non negotiable. Make sure to ask for a spice tray so you can add some sambal chili paste on the side! It's honestly more refreshing and brightens up the dishes more than it is spicy

Yelp
Have quite literally never been disappointed by Pad Thai. I tell everyone it's my fav Thai in all of America (been to Thailand a few times and grew up in Asia, so I'm picky lol) and firmly stand by that after my last visit! We stuck with three of our favs - the Tom Kha (packed with flavor and tons of chicken, as always), pad Thai (tried the seafood version and were impressed by how much they give you), and the Penang curry (a little sweeter than I'd have liked and less veg than expected, still super good). We also tried the chicken laab and loved how refreshing and summer-y it was, loaded with mint and other fresh herbs. Also looove how they seem to be constantly adding new decor - it is so peaceful inside or on the patio! Only less-than-perfect part of our last visit was the service... slower than normal and not as great as we remembered it being. Still will be back.

Yelp
My wife and I came here on a Wednesday night for date night! It was a very laid back night, not busy indoors but seating outside was busy. The environment was calming! Felt peaceful the whole time we were there. I got the Royal Thai and loved how savory it was! Definitely recommend it. The servers we had were super nice and we overall enjoyed our experience!
google avatar

Yelp
EXCELLENT food & service! The textures, the sauces...no words. Well, maybe one: authentic without being pretentious. Small, inviting, very well-appointed, intimate dining experience. Wr were on a date night but saw families there too. Worthy every penny. Foodies: HIGHLY recommend you put this on your MUST GO list. Wr had lettuce wraps, fried wonton and house specialty: Imperial Chicken with enough leftovers for a 2nd meal. Simply Delish

Yelp
My favorite Thai place in town! Great food with really good service in a cozy atmosphere. Ample parking, clean restrooms (can only confirm men's), in a great location. On the smaller side and they don't do reservations, so plan accordingly! Wait times aren't terrible though. I have been coming here for years and quality has not dipped; I've probably have eaten half the menu and can recommend nearly everything
google avatar

Renee M.

Yelp
I have been here multiple times and each time I leave highly satisfied. The flavors of everything are so fresh. The inside is cozy and inviting and the staff is super nice and attentive. I haven't had a single thing here that I didn't absolutely love. This is hands down my favorite Thai place in the KC area!

Yelp
This is the best Thai restaurant I've ever been to. From the food to the service to the atmosphere of the restaurant, everything exceeded my expectations. Our waitress was extremely friendly and even kindly gave us Crab Rangoons on the house, a small dish of their Penang curry, and a selection of sauces for our main dishes while explaining each one. I wasn't a big fan of the Crab Rangoons because I'm don't like cream cheese, but my boyfriend enjoyed it. I also did not visibly see or taste any crab, so if you're not a seafood fan, you might enjoy this. Their Pad Thai with shrimp, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious! It was very nutty and strong in tamarind flavor, and I loved the chewiness of the noodles. The portions were also very large. Their Tiger beef fried rice was also good. The beef was a bit on the tougher and chewier side but not too bad. The rice was short-grained so it had a slightly chewy texture which I liked. The dish was stir-fried very nicely but a bit oily. Lastly, their Penang curry was suuuper nutty with slight bit of heat, but could see it being heavy after a few bites. Overall, I highly highly recommend this restaurant! Just the executions and qualities of each dish were spectacular, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming too. I would totally come back and try some of their other dishes too!
google avatar

Kris P.

Yelp
I have had this 3 times and ordered the same thing every-time, Royal thai chicken w medium heat. Amazing every single time w side of fried rice! I am a creature of habit. Try this and you wont be disappointed. Might seem pricey but they give you enough for 2 meals especially w the rice. Maybe i will try something else next time, maybe

Yelp
We love Pad Thai! First, we love the staff who are always so welcoming, helpful and friendly. Lydia, Pinyo and Ann are just the absolute best! Nikki, the chef, always accommodates our requests and delivers creative tastes and delicious desserts. The food is obviously made with fresh ingredients by professionals who care about their craft and customers. Second, the intimate atmosphere and decor is warm and wonderful. We were so happy to bring our extended family to Pad Thai for all the celebrations this Easter weekend! We will always come back to Pad Thai!
google avatar

Piper P.

Yelp
The very best thai food EVER!!! I have lived in 5 different states, always trying to find good thai food. My husband and I just moved back to the area and tried Pad Thai Restaurant for the first time. Oh my gosh, the flavors were amazingly delicious and the ingredients were so fresh. We had the drunken noodles, crab rangoon and the fried rice. Incredible! This will definitely be our go-to for thai food.

Allison R.

Yelp
This place is absolutely delicious! It is hands down the best Thai food we've ever had anywhere in the US. We've tried all of their noodle dishes, stir fry dishes and curry dishes and everything is outstanding. I've never had a bad dish. The pad basil shrimp, panang and green curries, pad gapow and tom yum soup are our favorites (at the moment). And of course the pad Thai and drunken noodles are always phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things.
google avatar

Maggie C.

Yelp
10 years later, and it's still amazing. We haven't come back in the last ten years, but it's now going into the rotation for Thai since it's close to our home. Do yourself a favor and get the crispy pork. Fantastic. Service was great and pricing is good. Head a few doors down to "I Am" for the best bingsu and desserts after your dinner.
google avatar

Joe K.

Yelp
Not too bad. I have been here several times but I know it can be further away for most people. I think there are a lot of great Thai places in KC and this place is can compare depending on some items. They have redecorated as well. I think they are continuing to be more upscale but I wish they would focus more on consistency and service. Overall if you want some decent Thai food and if it's around you, check it out.
google avatar

Susan C.

Yelp
My favored Thai restaurant in KC. Excellent consistent good food. Try their Thai Basil Wings, crispy garlic shrimp and Royal Thai chicken. Three of my favorites. Friendly staff, can get crowded in the winter and on weekends since it is fairly small. Good outdoor seating in nice weather. I wish it was closer to my house. Portions are large and I always have some to take home for lunch.
google avatar

Sean S.

Yelp
The best crab Rangoon ever. Drinks were subtly delicious. We will definitely be back.

Marissa F.

Yelp
The service here was great, our server was attentive and helpful with recommendations. The ambiance was nice, it was spacious and relatively quiet. It was a little pricey, my meal cost a little over $20, but the portion size was fine for the cost. They were true to their spice levels too.
google avatar

Tony M.

Yelp
What happened? Even the very finest venue has a bad day, which is why didn't score lower. And, in recent years, this has been one of the finest....until last night. Sadly, we experienced inattentive, albeit pleasant, service, and the food wasn't very appetizing. The crispy pork was tough, and both our dishes consisted of about 80% rice, reminiscent of mediocre Chinese eateries. I'll now observe future reviews, in hopes of a correction.
google avatar

Sergio S.

Yelp
Food was above average. Veggie pot stickers were meh Seating was subpar. Wicker seats with no padding. Menu is not the most practical, hard to flip through and progression of the menu did not make sense. There were a lot of flies inside the restaurant, frequently visiting us at our table which brought down the experience Vegan and vegetarian friendly
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
LOVELY date night spot. I love walking into a restaurant and feeling like I'm being doted on. They took very good care of us at Pad Thai! Great, succinct, friendly service. We enjoyed their soft pork spring rolls, the Roasted Duck Panang Curry (Duck was moist on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside! Panang curry is sweet and peanutty.) As well as the Royal Thai Chicken - so saucy and extremely good flavor - loved the segments of lemongrass! I am grateful that YELP puts together collections for the KC area. We visited Pad Thai because it was on the "best eats in KC" collection, and I would wholeheartedly agree!

Meredith S.

Yelp
Same yummy tasting Thai food! It seemed the serving size was a tad smaller, with the same price. Still, I feel it's worth it. Owen is the best wait staff I've encountered there. It was too hot to sit outside but they do have a nice outdoor seating area.
google avatar

Grant E.

Yelp
Small unassuming shop in a strip that packs the flavor and decor. Pad Thai was absolutely decked out for the holidays for our visit including igloo seating in the patio. Very welcoming atmosphere. The food here is pretty standard Thai fare presented a bit upscale. The red curry that I tired this time around was a massive portion loaded with rich flavor and plenty of protein.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Visited today for a lunch with co-workers. We were greeted promptly and cheerfully as we were shown to our table. I ordered a Thai iced tea ($5.95) and chicken Red Curry ($17.95). Our food was delivered in about 8 minutes, and it was delicious. Senna and Jane were our servers, and they were always smiling and helpful. The dining room and patio are so relaxing-it would be a great date spot. We took enough home for dinner. Compared with other local Thai spots, Pad Thai is more expensive but offers outstanding service, quality, and ambiance.
google avatar

Elle M.

Yelp
Would *highly* recommend coming here for the Roast Duck Red Curry (Gang Pet Ped Yang) and, while you're there, pick up a Chicken Pad Thai as well. Pad Thai does these dishes so well, and while the prices are higher than other Thai joints, the portions are generous. Truth be told, I used to completely avoid this restaurant because their noodle and rice offerings can be pretty underwhelming. You can see from the Yelp photos that the noodles used for the Pad Se Ew are wrong: they're wide(r) noodles, but they're thin and long instead of thick and short. The sauce falls flat and gives the dish an one-dimensional soy-saucey flavor profile. BUT the Roast Duck Red Curry gave me a whole new perspective on Pad Thai, and now I have to come back here every once in a while to satisfy my craving for it. It's spicy, it's savory, it's so tender, and it's totally delicious. The Pad Thai used to be similar to the Pad Se Ew, but after a recent ownership change, it's definitely different and way more nuanced than it was before. Interested to see if the restaurants other offerings continue to improve. If you're in the area, check it out.

Lacie C.

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Food was reasonable priced. We sat outside and the patio was super cute.
google avatar

Kathleen R.

Yelp
5 stars for this elegant modern Thai restaurant - the decor was modern Asia with a relaxing vibe. The menu was a great surprise as it had many different dishes that we had not tried before. Their beef dishes in particular have a delicious, rich and tasty flavor. Definitely try the numtok beef dish! We would definitely come again to try other dishes! Service was very good and quick. 5 stars!

Yelp
I cannot rave enough about this place!! One of the best, if not the actual, best Thai spot in town. I've tried the laab (delish), moo tod (absolutely delish), pad thai (delish), pad see ew (delish), crab Rangoon (some of the best I've had), thai tea (you know it, delish). Clearly, you can see a trend here. Oh I forgot, massaman curry (DELISH)! As far as ambiance goes, it's a smaller restaurant with beautiful table settings making it a little more quiet and intimate. I've never had any issues with service as far as dining in or even picking up to go orders. Everything I order, with some special requests, are spot on and delicious every time. If you're looking for great Thai food and Zero disappointment, this is the place to go!
google avatar

Chalanna B.

Yelp
Delicious food and excellent service! First, I love the ambiance of this place. It's a cozy fit on a busy evening but they do an exceptional job of making everyone feel well taken care of. My friend and I got the appetizer sampler, pad Thai, and pad see ew. We shared everything and it was so good!!
google avatar

Kristi V.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food and nice ambiance! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the Tom Yum soup and the shrimp Laab.
google avatar

Tabatha J.

Yelp
We love Asian food and this is top of the stack. We are from OKC and if we lived closer we would eat here all the time. We had great service and ambiance was great. They have high chairs so if your little likes Asian food you are good to bring them along. The Tiger Cry fried rice is amazing. My daughter had a Thai tea and it's one of the best I've had
google avatar

Rebecca H.

Yelp
They have Delicious pad Thai, authentic. I will be back to try the dumplings and other dishes x
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
We wanted to love this place, as we live close by, but the food did not impress. We had the pad thai and green curry, but weren't huge fans of either. The flavor felt muted, so I don't think we'll return.
google avatar

Hugo D.

Yelp
This is a great place for a date night. The staff are very friendly, and the food is truly fantastic. I highly recommend their curry dishes. Ask for mild spice unless you can handle serious spicy food. (Medium spice destroyed me the first time we ate here.)

Ali Alexis P.

Yelp
Great food! Super nice calm place and great service! This appetizer sample was great and gave us a taste of everything

Amy O.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance. Excellent cocktails, appetizers and entrees. Excited to come back again soon!

Yelp
Overland Park, KS Who would have thought to find the best Thai food right here in Kansas! I am not from here, and I looked for a good Thai restaurant, and this popped up with many others. I am so glad that I chose this place. The minute we walked in the charming atmosphere was welcoming. The place is immaculate love to find a restaurant that is so clean even with the snow outside the floor is clean. The waiter was quick to greet us. I ordered the Sen Mee Pad with chicken, medium hot. It was perfect. The amount of food that they gave me was large. The spice was spot on. It gave me quite the kick in my mouth, but not too much that I couldn't enjoy. The food was hot and continued to stay hot all the way while eating. My only negative is that the chicken was dry, and even though it was cut thin, it seemed to be overcooked. My friend ordered the beef Pad Thai. He enjoyed the food and said to beef was tender. There were only two people working the front of the restaurant and both were very attentive. There must've been a dozen people that walked to the door just to pick up to go orders. This is a busy place on a Monday night and I can taste why.
google avatar

Amelie B.

Yelp
The food is fantastic, portions are generous, and I have enjoyed everything I have tried on the menu so far! This would absolutely be a go-to spot for me if it wasn't so pricey. But as far as the taste and service go, this is one of the best!
google avatar

Mike L.

Yelp
Forgot the photo. But I'll just say the green curry was amazing. Full of complex flavors. I asked for Thai hot and it was a little weak for my tastes but the rest of the ingredients carried the day. Was a bit apprehensive ordering curry at a place I've not been. Was more than pleasantly surprised at the quality. We ordered takeout and it was done on time and still hot when I got home. Didn't go inside so I can't comment on the ambiance however the place was full at 5 on a Wednesday. Check this place out.
google avatar

Janelle F.

Yelp
Not much to say different than all the others that like this place! My first Thai experience with others familiar with it. Huge portions. Enough for another dinner at home with a little left for the next day's lunch. Service was attentive and everyone was very nice. Small restaurant so there was a wait Friday night but not too bad.
google avatar

Claudia S.

Yelp
I had Pad See Ew medium heat... it ended up being hotter than I expected based on the scale in the menu, but tolerable. I had pork in mine, which was a bit dry and bland. We shared pork soft spring rolls, which were good and some thai basil wings that were really flavorful but carelessly butchered with many shards of bone from how they were chopped up. I bit several pieces of bone and finally just threw the rest away that we'd taken home. The sauce was really yummy, but I would not likely order them again due to all the small bone pieces. It's a pretty place and we had good service.

Tanya R.

Yelp
Great restaurant! Small inside but they were able to accommodate a large group. Everything we ordered was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Scott S.

Yelp
We have been here several times now and it had been a minute since we had visited. The first thing I noticed was they have stepped up the presentation from the menu to the beautiful service and food preparation. Everything was absolutely amazing from the spring rolls to the sticky rice dessert. But the standout was the crispy garlic pork!! OMG it is the best ever you have to eat here.

Catherine S.

Yelp
To go order of shrimp fried rice and tamarind chicken was okay but not super impressed.. Thai ice tea was served to me half full. Service was lacking attention to detail. Unimpressed with the this place. They seem to have a nice cute patio for outdoor dining but the dishes I ordered felt mediocre. I'll be ordering from other KC Thai places in furniture .
google avatar

B P.

Yelp
Outstanding! We'd heard so many good things, but were so impressed, from the ambience to the service, portions and flavors, all so well done. Our new favorite!
google avatar

Ciera H.

Yelp
I had a wonderful soup there and the food is just so amazing. I've never been to a Thai restaurant that is so upscale they have a full bar and they're very polite there's a reason why they have regulars.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
My favorite Thai place hands down. I love everything I've tried and I've tried a lot! My favorite is the yellow curry. Not a day goes by that I don't think about and crave this dish. The tiger cry beef is also a family favorite! The owner and staff do a great job! I must come at least once a week to satisfy my craving. Usually get it to go, but dining in is also nice. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Rebecca F.

Yelp
Great food every time. Wonderful service. Excellent ambiance! Well done on every level! We always look forward to going there.
