Very nice restaurant, food yummy, no matter what you choose. We loved the halibut, the pear salad, the beet salad, calamari and crisp Brussels sprouts. Loved my apple cider cocktail and my husband his Manhattan. The owner and all her staff were working so hard and still smiling. I highly recommend this place.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner at the Paddock Club after reading reviews and hearing from locals that it was a good restaurant.We were not disappointed. My wife started with the porcini mushroom soup, very tasty but could have had more mushrooms. I had cod and clams with chorizo and toasted bread. This was very good but only had 3 little neck clams.I would have liked a few more clams. The cod was excellent. We shared a wedge salad.It was very good, everything you would expect from a wedge salad. Our main entrees were halibut and grilled half chicken. Both were delicious. I seldom order chicken but since this had Oaxacan spices I had to give it a try. Our servers were pleasant and attentive. Also there were no added credit card fees. A definite benefit. Personally,I am avoiding restaurants that charge add on fees. Chef-owner Lynn Chisholm oversees the kitchen, and from what I could see an all women cooking staff. These ladies are preparing some excellent meals. I would say that this is without a doubt Elkhart Lakes' best restaurant. I would definitely return.

The food was excellent but they kept us waiting 25 minutes for our table after our reservation time, and then the server didn't come to our table for another 10 minutes after that. I had the chicken and we also did the calamari and French fries appetizers. They were tasty. Their bar makes a good old fashioned as well. August 2023: great experience again!

On a mini food tour in Elkhart Lake, my friend and I stopped here for dinner, and I will say that this place lived up to the hype! We were immediately greeted by a friendly hostess, and she led us through a large bar area to a second dining room next to the Open Concept kitchen. Our server was great and explained the menu to us, as well as answered our questions and helped with recommendations. The menu features mostly Mediterranean dishes, but there are a few other continental dishes that appear as specials and on the regular menu. We ordered the Mushroom Arancini and Bibimbap as our shared apps, and both dishes were perfectly executed with delicious flavor and great textures! Then we shared the Butternut Squash Ravioli and Gnocchi, and both dishes were show-stoppers! Again, both were absolutely perfectly executed and super delicious! They were both so good, we couldn't pick a favorite. The gnocchi may have been the best I've ever had, and if not, definitely top two! It was so incredibly light and fluffy. Had this been our only food stop, we would have ordered more dishes. I definitely want to go back soon! Maybe I can time it with a visit for a race.

A few friends and I are at The Paddock Club tonight and the food was amazing. We arrived for a reservation which wasn't quite ready but we were seated within maybe 10 minutes. After sitting at the table it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to stop by and take drink orders, so we decided to just order our food as well. We split the mushroom risotto, calamari, brussels sprouts, gnocchi, and fries (much to our dismay they were out of the butternut squash pasta dish). Fresh bread was also served which we weren't expecting! Our first batch of food arrived quickly, before we even got our drinks (sodas even). We loved everything we got except the fries were cold and bland. Otherwise, every dish was above average! My personal favorites were the mushroom risotto and the gnocchi. The service was our only down side, we rarely saw our waitress, water was never topped off, and even the person who checked us in wasn't particularly friendly. It certainly wasn't terrible but would easily be a five star if the service had been better. Highly recommend for a great meal though!

The Paddock Club is a kind of must go to while staying at Elkhart. If your looking for a local, short walk to place to eat and have some nice food, this should be on your mind. We go here every year and sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesn't. Good for the price and a nice addition to Elkhart Lake

Went to the Paddock Club mid week for our anniversary dinner. We have gone there to celebrate many special occasions. We got there and the place was mobbed with a convention. We got a table because we had a reservation. We ordered our drinks and waited half an hour. We couldn't talk it was so crazy loud in the bar. We walked out! I'm super sad as this has always been our special place. Maybe they should not have had reservations for the bar but it was ridiculous. I am not sure if we will go back.

Had confirmed reservations at Paddock Club in August of 2024 for a birthday dinner for my sister. So, definitely not my first visit to Paddock Club...I have enjoyed MANY occasions and great dining there over the past years. The food, service and atmosphere were always beyond exceptional! NOT THIS TIME! The bar was so CROWDED with hightop tables that it was very difficult to move between them. It was SO LOUD; we literally could not speak with each other. The hostess led us to a hightop in the back end of the bar; I informed her that we had reservations for dinner in the dining room. She stated that the dining was full and that we would be served at this crowded, small hightop in the bar area. I (shouting) explained that we had confirmed rsvps in the dining room and that we could not speak to one another due to the noise in the bar area. She arrogantly repeated that the dining room was full, so we would be seated in the bar. No apology. WE LEFT. The place has now become a party place for weekend tourists. The locals (Kohler) will adjust of course, just sad to lose a great relaxing bar and restaurant.

I really like this restaurant. It in Sheboygan Falls. My husband and I made reservation for Valentine's Day. This place is welcoming. We could have ordered off the regular menu or the special Valentines menu. Both our dishes were delicious. We had dessert as cappuccino. This place is smaller and to me very intimate. We were apply to talk to each other. I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

It was a special occasion and the Paddock Club went out of their way to make us feel special. My wife arranged for a really nice bourbon to be at our table when we sat down. I was touched. The soup special with mushrooms and celery root was delicious. We had the pair and nut salad and it was also very good. The trout spread was wonderful, and so generous a helping we had it the next day for a snack. The entree we split was a beautiful snapper fillet over potatoes green beans and a lovely white wine sauce. The service was impeccable. This is a truly high-end restaurant in a small town. Highly recommend even if you're not in the area you should make the trip.

Unexpected restaurant in this tiny town. It's a gem! Could stand up against big town restaurants. We came here from Las Vegas to visit some family. Wasn't expecting much in terms of good quality restaurants and were blown away. Everything was spectacular. Long list of specials with a changing menu! We had a bean salad, seafood pasta, salmon and steak. Everything was great. Stop here if you're in town.

So glad we tried this restaurant. It was excellent! The inside there is plenty of room and tables. They also had outdoor seating. However, no tent coverage. So if it rains you will get wet! I ordered the Halibut. It was delicious. It came we snow peas and mashed potatoes with a creamy white sauce. The fish was delicious. As a matter fact the whole dish was delicious! The fish was tender, perfectly cooked, with a slight crust on top. The snap peas and the mashed potatoes were well seasoned and great! My friend ordered the scallops and I tried one. Wow! Perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. My other friend had the Hanger Steak, medium well which comes with fries. I tried it as well and it was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. I did not try the fries, however my friend said she would have preferred my mashed potatoes to go with the Steak. Our waitress was very nice. She was attentive and did her best to keep checking on us. She was pretty busy so I can't complain. Overall this place is excellent. If ever at Elkhart Lake and want to go out for a nice dinner, this place is it!

We stopped in last night with six adults but kiddos seem very welcome at this restaurant. It was their tapas night and the service was wonderful. The hostess was great and our server, Lizzy, was perfect. The space is beautiful and the atmosphere is friendly. The food was tasty and fresh but not very conducive to sharing. It was more like small over priced plates that were a challenge to share. The hazelnut chocolate torte was the star of the night. We ordered drinks, pretty much the whole menu of tapas (Doubled up on some) and two desserts. We split the check between three cards and with tip it was about a 300$ meal. The problem I had with this place is that many of us left hungry. It may have been because of the presentation- once again many of the dishes were not easy to share and the plates in front of each of us for sharing were just tiny bread plates. My dad's buttermilk fried chicken was great but it was not tapas- it was a tiny serving that we would have to hack up for everyone to try. This place serves quality food and drink but be ready to pay a pretty penny for a small amount of food on tapas night. When my partner and I spend 100$ on a meal we hope to at least leave full. I also thought the food was good but not incredible. When the bread basket at the table is one of the stars of the show it says a lot. It's a nice place and I don't want to discourage anyone from trying it but in my book it just wasn't worth it.

Food: the food was great it had flavor and fashion into each bite you took. The bread they give out is impeccable! Service: The waitress peggy is amazing, she lightens the mood and makes everyone laugh. Ambiance: The restaurant is so adorable! The music and the lights is just breath taking! If your gonna order the crab and lobster pasta, if you like something sweet thats the food for you. The sauce is very sweet, but just ate it. It was delicious! 10/10 would recommend!

Holy forking ship! This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time accompanied by exceptional service and cocktails. An all around great experience. I will be honest: We were in a small, strange town in Wisconsin. Some really sweet kid who sells crystals nearby recommended the place. I thought, "well, he's just a sweet kid who sells crystals in a small, strange town in Wisconsin, so if this place sucks I won't be too surprised." Can I tell you something? That kid is an oracle. I owe him my life, my love and a debt of gratitude that will bond us for eternity. I don't know about the powers of the crystals that kid sells, but one thing I do know is that The Paddock Club is magical. From the food to the staff to the ambiance. If it were a precious stone sold by a sweet kid in a small, strange town on Wisconsin, it would be a diamond. 5 enthusiastic stars!

Spent the week up here, from Chicago. Do yourself a favor and eat at this restaurant. Every item we ordered off the menu was fantastic. My 16 month old loooved the bolognese. The hanger steak was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. Wish this place was located in Chicago, I'd eat there once a week.

First time we have eaten here. I always like to clarify that my job is in customer experience so my lens is a little different. We made a reservation for a high too so it was more casual and we're placed in a grouping close together despite many tables being open. I am assuming this had to do with number of servers. But an adult only table being placed next to a family in the bar with three small kids was kind of odd. Those kids were dolls. The second thing that was odd was that my seat was under the television. Like really dusty wires and all. There should not be a table right underneath all of that. Third, the reservation asked if we were celebrating anything. We were. A birthday. No mention. This is one of the easiest wins for a business. Just a mentions that they paid attention. Otherwise why ask? The halibut was great. The steak was very good. The ravioli was fine. Great bread. Great calamari. Good wine menu. Very dark. But nice ambiance. Definitely not a cheap visit but food worth the price according to my table.

We live in Florida but consider this "our place". We come to Elkhart Lake nearly every year around our anniversary. We found Paddock Club at least 14 years ago and have enjoyed our anniversary dinner there ever since. The atmosphere, wonderful food and friendly staff make this a no brainer choice. This year we sat outside and it was lovely. It was much quieter than the inside since that was quite crowded with the old racing car crowd. Every meal we've had has been creative, attractively presented and delicious! The wine list is great too!

I'll start by saying the food we had was excellent. The reason I gave 3 stars is because the service was so slow. Soooo slow. For a Wednesday night, it shouldn't be that slow as the restaurant wasn't busy. Also, the prices are a tad bit crazy. My husband and I shared an appetizer and each had a cup (not a bowl) of soup and NO drinks... $28.

Just don't go here with kids - We we're vacationing at the osthoff resort and headed into town for dinner. I called beforehand and was assured no reservation was necessary for 4 people if we came in around 5. When we came in, with our 1 month old (very sleepy) baby, we asked for a table for 4. We were immediately told that they only had outside (sunny and hot) available. Basically every table inside was free...so we were very surprised. Then, as I took my son inside to use the restroom, I saw them seat 2 different groups of 4..no problem. Obviously they didn't want a family with a baby inside their restaurant. On top of that, my steak was BLUE when I ordered medium plus. Charged me for the whole steak. You can do better. Eat somewhere else.

We chose this restaurant to try during a recent visit to Elkhart Lake mostly because it was one of the few that had their menu posted in the window. What we found when seated (quickly) was a friendly place to dine and drink. Very excellent waitstaff who were there when we needed something without being the least bit intrusive. Great menu- they seem to have both the sandwich and near gourmet entree ends of the spectrum covered. The only negative is it gets a bit noisy on busy nights- the decor doesn't lend itself to sound absorption apparently. We felt it is an all around solid feel good place to enjoy- the prices are reasonable too (not sure why other reviewers thought otherwise)!

Our family ended up at the Paddock Club unexpectedly but it was certainly the right place to be in a Friday evening. The service was very good and even though they were very busy and we didn't have a reservation we did not have a wait. I ordered the salmon and it was very, very good. I ate every bite! My son had Seafood Aqua Pazzo and loved it. My youngest son had a half order of the lemon ricotta ravioli and it was perfect for him. He said it was really good. My husband had the fried chicken special. Everyone was very happy with their meals.

We had heard that this was the best restaurant in Elkhart Lake so we went there for dinner last Sunday. Our server Brittany was great. She was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I ordered the Caesar salad and the smoked jalapeno pork shoulder. The Caesar was good however the croutons were not sauteed or toasted. They were soggy pieces of old bread. The pork was done beautifully, It was moist and very tasty. My wife ordered the hanger steak. This was an ample portion served with a delicious red wine veal sauce and skinny potatoes. Food and service were very good and we will return if we are in the area again.

By far the best restaurant in Elkhart. No need to get dinner anywhere else - come here every night you are in town. Great service and wonderful food. We've been so happy with their take out during covid as well. Always on time, packaged wonderfully, and delicious eaten on our porch. They answer their phone quickly for take out orders and always seem so happy for the business.

Nice menu with a small selection. I ordered the rock shrimp pasta, but was surprised when the shrimp were very small. I do not believe they were rock shrimp. Overall the dish had great flavor but I was disappointed that on an actual shrimp scale of tiny to colossal, these were small.

Recently, I was lucky to attend the Paddock Club's Fifth Anniversary Dinner. Wine pairing were provided by Sturino Trotta Wines. We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by the staff and Chef of the restaurant. Since we had a little wait before the start of the nights festivities, we sat at the bar. I ordered an outstanding SideCar Cocktail while my friends enjoyed a couple of great unique beers. Before the actual start of the meal, we enjoyed an interesting selection of cheeses paired with a 2006 "Jazz"! The cheese was good and definitely helped wake up our palates, but the Jazz was incredible. A Unique alternative to the usual white or sparkling wine pairing, this red blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Zinfandel and Cabernet Franc was the favorite wine of the night at our table. Now on to our wonderful meal. 1st Course Alaskan Halibut with Tapioca Ramp Flan, Asparagus, Black Truffle and Sorrel Buerre Blanc Sauce. Served with a 2007 Chardonnay. The Halibut was perfectly cooked. The other parts of the dish complimented the mild flavor of the fish. The expertly made Buerre Blanc was so good I almost licked my plate! The wine had flavors of peach, apple, apricot and honey that paired perfectly with the dish. 2nd Course Porcini Mushroom Braised Rabbit with Tallegio Polenta, Swiss Chard and Crispy Brussel Sprout Leaves. Served with a 2005 Pinot Noir. Rich, homey, comfort food is what comes to mind when I think about this dish. Tender Rabbit over soft Polenta in an earthy Mushroom Sauce. This would've been perfect, but unfortunately it was way too salty for my friends and I. The Pinot had enough acidity to cut through the richness of the Dish. I also enjoyed the Raspberry and Cherry flavors that came through. 3rd Course Spiced Duck and Foie Gras Agnolotti with Parsley Root Puree, Huckleberry Port Sauce, Salsify Chips and Chervil. Served with a 2005 Tesoro. This dish rivals some of the best Foie dishes I've ever had. Perfect little Pasta Pillows, filled with an amazing combination of Foie Gras and Duck. The sweet Huckleberry Port Sauce was great foil to the rich Agnolotti. Unfortunately, although I loved this dish, it was my least favorite pairing of the night. Luckily, I had a little of my Pinot left from the previous course and that worked fine for me. The Tesoro, which is sometimes described as "earthy", just seemed muddy and unfocused to me. 4th Course Catalonian Chile Braised Waygu Beef Cheek with Lobster Potato Gnocchi, Spring Peas and Fried Leeks. Paired with a 2005 Quinette. Another Rich Comfort Food based course, this was amazingly tender, flavorful and rich. The Gnocchi was a unique way to bring a "Surf and Turf" feel to our last savory dish of the night. The Peas brought a nice sweetness and the Catalonian Chile added the a surprising bit of heat. I know a dish is good when just writing about it makes me salivate all over again! The Quinette is one the best Red Wines I've ever tasted. Lots of Dark Fruit flavors with just a hint of Oak. This was a perfect pairing! 5th Course Left Bank Chocolate Cake. Paired with a 2006 Late Harvest Zinfandel A huge cake layered with Blackberry Mousse, Chocolate Cake and Gioconda Cake. This was great combination of flavors. The Fruit, Chocolate and Almond (I think) of the Gioconda worked great together. My piece was so huge, I actually took most of it home. It was a very nice breakfast the next morning! Being Late Harvest, this Zin was sweeter and had more fruit flavor so it worked great as a dessert wine. It was an honor to celebrate the Fifth Anniversary of The Paddock Club with Chef Lynn, Cheri and the rest of their staff.

We had brought our whole family in and despite being incredibly busy the service and food was fantastic. Most restaurants are looking for help and are understaffed and I have observed rude and impatient behavior from customers and really feel for them. People have some patience when you are dining at an establishment like this that does everything from scratch and prepares some really tasty dishes! Holli our server was awesome!!!

4 nights in a row! Specials are out of the box and the menu itself is not over done, but done right.... Great food, great drinks and even better staff! Can't wait to be in town to dine again.

Get the BROCCOLI WITH RED PEPPER DIP it is the bomb dot com. A delightful, surprisingly elegant dining space amidst a small town with a super nice waitstaff. Entrees are sometimes really buttery or oily but usually always good. It is a treat to dine here whenever we are in Elkhart.

We just returned from dinner at the Paddock Club. We had the soup of the day, cheese board, calamari, the celery root salad and a lavender lemonade. The Mushroom/Kale soup was easily the most balanced and perfectly seasoned savory soup I have ever had. The cheese board had 4 locally made cheeses, (3 cows milk and one Goat milk) apple slices, Spanish almonds, and absolutely perfectly done crostini. The multi grain starter bread was a warm and soft and crusty way to begin. along with a wonderfully creamy butter . The Celery root salad was exactly the right mix of crispy, sweet, tart and savory . No dressing would have been required, but the house dressing matched it just right. The Calamari was crispy, tender, perfectly done and not the slightest bit oily. The venue is cozy but not the slightest bit crowded, the servers attentive but not bothersome and the service was prompt but not hurried. As a very particular diner, I was quite impressed and we will come back for tomorrows supper to try the rest of the small plates menu, and perhaps some of the mains.
