Paddy Cakes - Review - Tufnell Park - London - The Infatuation
"Whether we're sad, mad, or celebrating—Paddy Cakes is the answer. This wholesome Tufnell Park cake shop and bakery is run by a husband and wife whose skill at making red velvet cupcakes is matched by their hospitality. The space is warm and inviting, with an Instagram-ready circular wall seat that’s ideal for photoshoots with your aesthetic crème brûlée doughnut, and comfy velvet chairs that encourage long chats over peach cinnamon rolls. Our favourite thing here is the Guinness cake slab: a moist, chocolatey cake with delicately piped swirls that rival a Disney princess' curls. The buttercream is light, smooth, and has a Baileys kick your gran would approve of, i.e. a lot." - Sinéad Cranna
