"In a world of flat cream cheese frosting, Paddy Cakes said, be a swirl of Baileys buttercream. This Tufnell Park cake shop sells their Guinness cake in cupcake and slab form. And both come with the kind of delicately piped swirls that rival Disney princesses' curls. The buttercream is light, smooth, and has a Baileys kick your gran would approve of—i.e. a lot. While both of the sponges—cupcake and slab—are moist and not too heavy, we prefer the balance of the slab.
