I celebrated my birthday at Paddywax Candle Bar with my girls, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! The atmosphere was cozy and perfect for a celebration, and the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable. We loved picking out our scents and creating our own candles...it felt so personal and creative. Everyone had such a great time, and it was the perfect way to celebrate together. Highly recommend for birthdays, girls’ nights, or just a unique outing. I’ll definitely be back!

A Delightful Candle-Making Experience at Paddywax in Montrose Paddywax Candle Bar is a charming new gem within the Montrose Collective. I visited with my mom to celebrate her 69th birthday, and we had a truly lovely experience. The space is beautifully decorated and immediately inviting, setting the perfect mood for a creative outing. We attended the 11 AM class, which lasted about an hour. For $82 total, we each crafted our own candle—a hands-on, personalized activity that made for a memorable day. The instructor was kind, clear, and encouraging, making the process smooth and fun. A sweet touch: our names were already displayed on the table when we arrived. There’s a great selection of candle vases and a wide variety of scents to choose from, so everyone can find something that speaks to them. Since the candles take about three hours to set, we opted to wander around the mall and enjoy the rest of the day before picking them up. Highly recommend Paddywax for a meaningful outing—whether you're celebrating something special or just in the mood to make something with your hands.

Had Such a great time with the Ladies at Paddy wax for our friends Bachelorette Party! The ladies were very accommodating, knowledgeable and were just overall sweet representations of the company! Please come, visit, learn from this team! You will definitely enjoy!

Great scents and great service. My friend and I were just shopping around and not intending to make candles but we loved the vessels they had available so we did it. The employees were great and the experience was a lot of fun

Unimpressed. Non interactive experience. There was a written self instruction guide on the table on how to make a candle. Puddywax just provided the materials and basically expect the customers to take it from there. The entire session was about 30 minutes. They even charged an $8 fee for byob. Why charge a fee when I'm basically saving them money because they don't have to use their own inventory for drinks? Will not return.

I had such a great experience at Paddywax! The store manager, Oanh, was incredibly helpful and made the whole candle-making process so enjoyable. I was a little nervous about choosing the right scents and getting everything just right, but Oanh was so sweet, patient, and knowledgeable. She guided me through the options and shared helpful tips along the way. Thanks to her, the experience was not only fun but also educational. I left with a candle I love and a new appreciation for the process. Highly recommend!

Super fun. Candles smell amazing and the staff is very friendly. They will also keep your candle there for you to pick up another day, which was great.

My friend saw PaddyWax on Tiktok and wanted to go! We booked online which was an easy process and even was able to use a Discount Code! The class is self-guided. You are given written instruction you read through step by step. The scents are already mixed, you just chose the one you want your candle to smell like. Overall, fun experience but I wasn't expecting it to be so short. I wish you could create your own scents. I wouldn't return for that reason but happy for the experience.

PLEASE be aware anyone looking at hosting a larger event at this facility!! The space is INCREDIBLY small, and they claim it will hold up to 30 people!! There is no way this is comfortable or worth the high private event pricing! I had agreed to the terms before visiting the location simply because I was told there was plenty of space to accommodate us all! It's unfortunate that they would not agree to refund my $500 deposit. It's also clear that customer satisfaction is not a top priority for them! They could have easily agreed to refund my money but chose the money over customers being happy! I'm a small business owner and would never choose this route! I would have been happy to come with a smaller group in the future, but sadly, this is no longer an option for myself!!

I saw on TikTok how this place just opened and there was a coupon so we booked this Everette for a birthday party. It was amazing. We enjoyed being able to pick our scents and vessels as well as the whole pouring process. They gave us a discount after our experience for shopping within the store. We've since lit the candles and they smell so good. We will be back for their 10$ end of month refill. It only took two hours to get the finished product so we hung around the Montrose collective.

Tried this place out for their initial opening and had a blast! I will absolutely be going back. My friend and I had the best time and can't wait to pick up our candles (three hours after pour is what they recommend) and give them a try at home. They have a very laid out, step-by-step process that makes everything a breeze. Each set up has a little flip book of instructions as you go along, and you get different parameters depending on the vessel you chose. Surprisingly easy and quite fun. They also said they will do a $10 refill of your fragrance when you use it up. Such a fun idea!

This was such a fun experience and something I've never tried before. The people there were so kind and patient and made the whole thing even better than I could've imagined. The instructions were so straightforward, so it wasn't difficult to make your own candle, and there was a huge selection of fragrances that they let us mix and match with to make our candle scent. I also loved the mirror inside where we took cute group pictures before and after making our candles. It's definitely not a cheap experience - about $40, but you get to pick out your own candle jar too, and there's $10 refills available once you finish using your candle.
