Google
I tried their cookies. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie was decadent but reminded me of the famous cookie at Bristol Farms. The toasted coconut almond joy was delicious. Def recommend that one. This place is strictly takeout.

Coming from a Vietnamese person who makes her own Vietnamese coffee at home, they have THE best and authentic Vietnamese coffee here (cafe sửa đã). The added layer of foam on top has just the right little amount of salt and creaminess to it. Every sip is O.M.G. - and I’ve tried many Vietnamese coffee in the area! This type of coffee is pretty caffeinated, so be warned, but it’s very delicious, give it a try! Also, their cookies are SO delicious! A bit chewy on the outside and doughy on the inside. They can heat it there for you, or take it home and pop it in the microwave in increments of 10sec. My fav is the chocolate with peanut butter. Love this place! Ahh, one last thing, their raspberry matcha is very delicious!

Google
This place is fantastic. The chocolate chip sea salt cookie is one of the best in Los Angeles. I also ordered their egg tart which is a must if you stop by, it’s flaky and delicious. I also got the mazipan coffee which was good as well. There’s some tables outside and it’s counter served inside. The staff was very friendly and everything looked so good.

Google
The best portuguese style egg tarts in LA probably all of America. Flakey shell, tender egg filling. Amazing. Their cookies are also excellent. Similar to Levin style, but much better.

Glarence Zhao

Google
Originally bookmarked this place to try their Portuguese style egg tarts and found out they also do Levain style cookies like in a NY. Overall, solid bakery in Santa Monica. Egg tart was surprisingly pretty good, growing up in Asia I can be pretty tough on rating them and find proper ones harder to find here, especially central or ourself SGV. Egg custard filling is not too sweet, caramelized, puff pastry crust wasn’t too far off. Not fresh out the oven but held up well. Cookies were good too, if you like that thicker soft chewy interior Levain made famous. Also not the freshest batch with the crust being slightly harder to bite into, but lots of melted chocolate inside. I might actually go with the triple chocolate over the trademark chocolate and walnut. There was also a sea salt chocolate chip one I wanted to try. On Wilshire Blvd across Bristol Farms, with its own parking lot.

Google
The banana bread pudding is the most delicious dessert I've had in west LA! It's airy, light, and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness and bananas. I also enjoyed the horchata coffee which was basically an excellent latte, and not overly sweet. The service was fast and very pleasant!

Google
My coffee was very underwhelming. My latte tasted mostly of milk :/ The barista was nice and there was no wait.

Google
My favorite cookie / egg tart bakery… now has perfected the croissants!!! Love them so much and it’s always a good time seeing Paderia at food festivals too 👏👏👏

Yelp
Happy little accident where we got a little lost then needed to find a restroom and saw this place on our GPS! I saw Portuguese Egg Tarts and we immediately set a route here. Not only is the shop super cute and smells wonderful and not only are the baked goods immensely yummy looking, the staff members are incredibly sweet as well. I always have a hard time deciding what to get and I asked him to surprise me and I'm currently inhaling these cookies like a Gremlin after midnight. THEY'RE SO GOOD. I wish I remembered to ask what your name was but THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING SO SWEET AND MAKING MY SIX YEAR ANNIVERSARY EVEN MORE SPECIAL. Now how do I make this review 10 out of 5 stars?

Yelp
Had heard good things about Padetia, and a friend told me to go check it out, that it was on par with either cookie location based off of New York, and I have high outside for that establishment, so off to Paderia I went. Tried two cookies, which are my two favorite at this other piece, since I was supposed to compare the two. The chocolate walnut cookie was very nice, with walnuts and pecans inside. And, when warned up, the chocolate in the middle is nice and gooey, making for a very nice bite with a little crispness on the outside. The oatmeal raisin was also good, with just the right amount of raisins to go with the oatmeal. Not overly sweet which is always nice when it comes to cookies. They were both good cookies in their own right, however, compared with this other bakery, I would say they are definitely in second place, though, second place, when compared to the many bakeries around, isn't a bad place to be in.

Yelp
I'm not kidding when I say I dream about the cookies here all the time. The triple chocolate is my favorite, but you really can't go wrong with any of them. They are super thick and rich, so you may not be able to finish one by yourself if you don't have a big sweet tooth (I personally never have this problem though). If you're not in the mood for cookies, Paderia also sells ensaymadas, Portuguese egg tarts, cheesecake, and banana pudding. They have a unique drink menu as well with a mix of coffees, teas, and horchatas. The inside of the bakery feels modern and inviting, and it always smells amazing because everything is baked fresh each morning. They do tend to sell out by the end of the day, so go early if you're set on getting a specific flavor/item. Don't forget to check out their seasonal offerings too!

Yelp
Ha! So glad there's a PADERIA BAKEHOUSE in the west side. Now we don't have to drive 40 miles to sample their goodies. Early in the morning, the area isn't too crowded yet and we were able to find availalbe street metered parking in front of the bakehouse. There was no line to get in and no line to order. Their CHEESE ENSAYMADA is giant, calorific, delicious and totally worth it. The TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE was worth whatever pounds I gain. Cute shop. Couple of small tables with chairs so you can sit and enjoy your goodies.

Yelp
The sea salt chocolate chip cookie at Paderia is by far the BEST chocolate chip cookie I have had in the city! I am obsessed with cookies and always looking for the best and this sky rockets all the rest. Truly. Additionally, I started coming here for coffee and it's so underrated- the sea salt iced latte was so good (ask for half the sweetener) and it was fantastic. They have variety of other bakery / cookie flavors and have tried all of them and are also so good. Note, they do have seasonal flavors so definitely check out trying holiday times!
google avatar

Emily D.

Yelp
I love this spot! The horchata, egg bites, and cookies are to die for. Best cookie I've had in LA. The place is so cute as well, very easy to park, order, and sit outside. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Dessert shop hidden around the corner off Wilshire! Chocolate chip walnut and blackberry corn cookies (seasonal) were very delicious! It's a very thick crumbly cookie. Oat milk latte was standard but nothing crazy. I wish the outside had more table seating instead of just lounge chairs, but I think this is more of a grab n go type of place. Would go back if I was nearby to check out the seasonal cookie flavor!
google avatar

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem that I haven't heard much about. I'm always on the hunt for the best ube latte. And I think Paderia gets the gold medal. The staff is extremely kind and gives great recommendations. I was told all syrups are made by the Bakehouse. You can taste the high quality in the coffee. The ube is sweet, but not overly sweet. It blends well with the espresso and has a smooth cohesive flavor. There's some cookie crumble bits which I thought is a special touch. I also tried the pastel de nata. This comes pretty close to the ones I've had in Lisbon. It's super buttery and has a crispy top. I'll be returning soon for another ube latte and next time I'll try one of the yummy looking cookies.
google avatar

Mimi R.

Yelp
Best cookies ever!! They're giant and delicious! I want to try their other items soon like the cheesecake. My fave is the chocolate chip cookie. I also tried their iced coffee, it was ok.
google avatar

Ari R.

Yelp
Paderia is pretty good. Two of their cookies are as good as Levain. Like seriously the chocolate peanut butter is an almost exact match. The chocolate chip is another perfect cookie. All of this in a gorgeous shop that I hope is the sign of a revitalization on Wilshire. The oatmeal and the s'mores seem to be completely different. Like a different dough? They are dry and odd. And their cold brew is not good. But I am going to be back at least for two of their cookies!
google avatar

Dawn A.

Yelp
Honestly the owner of this place should be ashamed of themselves. ix dollars for a cookie but to top it off... Never had this circumstance... You literally have to pay extra for it to be hot or cold when you're ordering it online. So a coffee is on average 750 to 8 dollars for a latte. Additionally, there was a new employee in here. You could tell she was overwhelmed, and she was the only person working. She apologized profusely and worked as efficiently as she could. I really felt bad for her and as an owner you should be in there on the front lines working with your employees when you are shortstaffed like this. It's not even a busy place . Will not be back. You can't pay me to be back here. To the girl working here, there are much better jobs out there for you with employers who will respect you
google avatar

Alayna K.

Yelp
They have levain style cookies that didn't disappoint! Similar to the original w the outer layer but the inside needed more gooey-ness. Didn't have indoor seating but cute vibes overall!
google avatar

Lesly N.

Yelp
Literally the neiman marcus of cookies. Large parking lot so you don't have to worry about fighting for parking. Think Levain cookies but BETTER ! The shop itself is really tiny. No indoor seating. A few tables outside. Come early because items do sell out ! What we ordered with a quick menu description so you don't get overwhelmed when you're there. CHEESE ENSAYMADA- Filipino Brioche. Spiral-rolled brioche covered with a blend of butter & sugar. Topped with 2 year aged white cheddar. DO NOT SKIP THIS ITEM. This was my favorite. She warmed it up for us and we ate it up in the car. The person in line after us bought the rest so I couldn't go back in to buy more even if I wanted to because it was sold out. So glad I got to try one because it was amazing ! Literally melted in my mouth. TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE-Chocolate-rich Cookie. Milk & dark imported Belgian chocolates packed inside a brownie like cookie. These cookies were HEAVY. We got two but honestly could've just shared one because they were humongous ! They also box up your cookies. Not that it really matters if you're going to eat them right away. But it was a nice touch. COOKIES& CREAM COOKIE. Limited monthly special. A heavenly mix of crispy, chewy perfection enriched with rich chocolate cookie pieces and the creamy allure of Belgian white chocolate. I really enjoyed both cookies. Each bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and richness. DULCE DE LECHE HORCHATA. Non caffeinated ! Rich & Velvety. Horchata accented with authentic caramel drizzle and crème top. We were surprised this wasn't caffeinated. It tasted like a yummy horchata latte. I really wanted to try their banana pudding but it was already sold out for the day. Next time I'm coming back early super early !

Yelp
I tried the seasonal cookie (toffee pretzel for the month of April), sea salt chocolate chip cookie, and seasonal strawberry shortcake cheesecake. Out of this world. Must go. Just as good as Levain as far as big cookies go, and they have more variety of flavors. Staff is super friendly and drinks are great. Only downside are the sort of limited hours, 9-5.
google avatar

Yelp
The cold brew here is FIRE. The egg tarts here are FIRE. Even the cookies are really a nice burn. I've been to Paderia Bakehouse a few times now and have always been happy with the nomz I get from here. I'm a huge fan of Portuguese egg tarts and Paderia does them so darn well. The shell is so flaky, soft and crispy all at the same time with excellent flavor. Then the filling is filled with flavor. Exceptional treat. Their coffees truly have an excellent bite to them. The cookies are huge, sugary and indulgent, packed with chips of whatever flavor you get. I've had the Chocolate Peanut Butter (divine), Sea Salt Chocolate Chip (superb), and the double chocolate (richer than Scrooge McDuck). Prices aren't bad, big parking lot, and always the nicest staff. Like above and beyond friendly. They have a few chairs to sit at and enjoy outside which brings me to the tiniest of gripes. They need a tiny table or two outside. It's hard holding all my snacks while trying to sip my coffee, lol! Love Paderia Bakehouse and obvi I'll be back.

Yelp
My review is going to be sweet & simple. I knew someone who worked here about a year or more ago, so that is how I was introduced to the cookies. The cookies are big and rich in taste and pricey, but also very delicious. Definitely be ready to eat! I don't have a pic due to eating my cookies up before I remembered to take a picture ‍.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for the banana pudding, now a fan of their huge cookies. As some reviews have mentioned, I agree the banana pudding while delicious, needs more banana and wafer pieces. COOKIES - All of the cookies I tried are perfectly sweet with an outside crunch and slightly underbaked. It's been many years since I've had Levain so I can't compare the taste. That said, I do wish Paderia would heat up their cookies as some Levain ones are warm off the shelf. **Award-winning Chocolate Chip Walnut - great, good ratio of chips to nuts **Peanut Butter Chocolate - my FAVORITE, craveable at room temperature **Blueberry Coconut - The healthy choice. Lol Plump blueberries and the coconut made it taste lighter. **Portuguese egg tart - I was gifted some before and while they're not my thing, the crust was buttery and flaky. Cookies are $5.25, a fair price for all the cookie you get from quality ingredients. I wish they had more cookie flavors but they do have a monthly special. Currently it's S'mores. They also have small individual cheesecakes and of course coffee and horchata. The employees are enthusiastic and thank you for answering all of my first timer questions. Really glad that Paderia has a large private parking lot! Note the business entrance and parking is off Berkeley, not Wilshire.

Alysha T.

Yelp
One of the best cookies in LA -- and they are HUGE. Great selection of different kinds, and a fun selection of coffee and drinks. I love walnut chocolate chip cookies so had to go with that one. It's hard to just pick one. They're easy to keep in the fridge or freezer and reheat. Plus, if you sign up for their rewards you get a free cookie on your birthday :) Service is always friendly and maybe the best part is you won't need to worry about where to park. This location has a free lot with plenty of spots. Perfect place to stop by and grab some cookies after swinging by third street or anywhere else in the area. There's a little bit of outdoor seating too.
google avatar

Mallory C.

Yelp
Love the cookies here! They are huge, delicious, and full of flavor. I love their award-winning CHOCOLATE WALNUT COOKIE (crispy outside & gooey inside. Baked with imported Belgian chocolate, pecans & walnuts pieces) and their BANANA PUDDING (air-whipped custard. Ultralight custard between generous layers of fresh bananas & vanilla wafers). I've also had their coffees and cheesecake and I really enjoyed them! Service is super quick and friendly and the space is small inside, but there's seating outside. Street parking is available.
google avatar

Ye J.

Yelp
Found out this bakery store on my birthday. What a wonderful surprise! Love the egg tart, even it has been sitting outside for half day and night, it is still crunchy outside! It's not too sweet which is how our Asian compliments a sweet! Btw, my hubby really loves their banana pudding, he rarely compliments on any sweet or dessert that much!

Aria G.

Yelp
Easy parking, which is a blessing in Santa Monica, and amazing cookies. The coffee is fine but not great. Service is spectacular. There is a small area right outside the bakehouse where you can sit, but it is positioned in a straight line (with chairs facing one direction (the parking lot)), so this is not like a cafe where you can sit and chat. It is more of a grab-and-go place.
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
This is my second 5 star review for Paderia. I've already commented on how creamy, sweet, and velvety smooth the caffeinated drinks are. But what about the baked goods? I can tell you that those are also divine. Paderia has cookies down to the perfect science. Nicely crisp on the outside. Melty, crumbly, and satisfyingly decadent on the inside. The chocolate chip and double chocolate chip peanut butter cookies are top tier. Now, a plea to the owners: Please open your bakehouse earlier! By 9am, my work day is well underway. It's rare that I can sneak off to Paderia in between meetings. Plus I enjoy my caffeine closer to when I wake up. If you opened an hour earlier, then I guarantee that you'd get even more coffee and baked good sales. Your profits would reap the rewards if it's possible on the production side. I know that I, and so many other customers, would be able to come more often. I would probably come multiple times a week! I love Paderia so much, so hoping that requesting an earlier open time again, will get you to consider testing it out for a month. Ok, plea over. My favorite spot for a sweet caffeinated and baked treat.

Yelp
Great cookies at this place. They are jumbo-sized and worth every penny. Although they only offer a few varieties, the quality is superb. We usually get the sea salt chocolate chip or the chocolate chip with walnuts. They sometimes have a special variety that is offered for a short period of time (a few days or a week). They also have a Portuguese egg tart that is delicious, with a buttery flaky crust filled with a nice custard. The cookies are hand packaged in nice little boxes - perfect for "gifting" or for special occasions. The sales people are always friendly and courteous. Also plenty of parking in the lot behind the bakery.

Abbey G.

Yelp
The banana pudding is great. I like this one more than magnolia bakeries. Very tasty.
google avatar

Fatima H.

Yelp
Cute bakery that my brother was excited to show us. The banana pudding is honestly heavenly (even beats my all-time fav from Magnolia Bakery). We got a couple cookies to try and they were just as good (the chocolate chip was a little salty but good nonetheless).
google avatar

Sebastien L.

Yelp
Sunday sweet treat at noon - Portuguese egg tart, chocolate chips walnut cookie, banana pudding Service: super friendly Ambiance: relaxed and casual Price: a little bit high Food quality: Egg tart was really good, banana pudding was ok but needs some more banana tasted better A positive experience!
google avatar

Jadyn K.

Yelp
The chocolate walnut in comparison to the Bristol Farms cookie is softer and a bit smaller. If you like a soft not crispy cookie, this is perfect. I personally prefer a bit of crisp to cookies, but they were still good! The raspberry white chocolate cookie had a stronger sweet raspberry taste, which was ok to me. 4 stars since I think they are a bit pricey for what it is, but definitely worth a try! Street metered parking on Berkeley St.
google avatar

Kiki K.

Yelp
Their baked goods are THE BESTTT!! I first tried them out their fountain valley location but recently found out they had this location near me! This time I tried and their banana pudding and it was sooo good! The pudding is super creamy, almost reminds me of the tiramisu mascarpone creams. It has slices of banana layered with cake throughout the pudding! Soo good!! The ensaymada is delicious as well. They're baked goods are all delicious yet not too sweet. Haven't tried their drinks yet but they all look great as well. The storefront is beautiful but they don't have seating inside.
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
Really delicious pastries and great signature drinks. There wasn't much of a line when I visited on the weekend, so it's excellent for a grab-and-go snack. I'm not the biggest fan of horchata-coffee/matcha drinks, but Paderia's matcha horchata was excellent. The drink was light and not overly sweet, and very refreshing. They can adjust the sugar level by increasing the proportion of matcha, so I think it was stronger and helped the matcha flavor come out more as well. There is some outdoor seating, but interior space is quite limited. There's also plenty of easy parking!
google avatar

Dasha D.

Yelp
Hands down the BEST chocolate chip cookie in LA! All their cookies look like hockey pucks and are delicious. Make sure to warm them up either in the oven or microwave beforehand.
google avatar

Mari D.

Yelp
I told my friend one of the things I wanted to eat while I was in LA was pastel de natas because they're hard to find in HI. Home girl did not disappoint and brought me to Paderia. Hands down one of the best pastel de natas I've had since eating them in Europe!! The custard is perfection and the buttery and flaky crust is absolutely divine. I was so full from lunch prior but I couldn't help but stuff my face with a few of these on the car ride to dinner! They feel so light but dang, you can definitely tell they use LOTS of butter, which is always a good sign in my books. I'm making my friends bring this back to me whenever they visit from now on!
google avatar

Isabel B.

Yelp
Delicious treats, my favorite is the sea salt cookie! I didn't get to try all of their pastries so excited to come back. They also have parking which is always great in LA! the location is really cute and there is outdoor seating available.
google avatar

Tanya A.

Yelp
These cookies are THICC like I wish my booty would be. I got their chocolate walnut and sea salt chocolate chip cookies. I preferred the chocolate walnut just for the extra crunch, but both were dense, chewy, and delicious. The amount of chocolate chips were enough to taste decadent without feeling like diabetes. The egg tarts have a perfectly light and flaky crust with a tasty filling that's not overly sweet. I'll be back whenever I'm looking to treat myself or give a delicious gift to loved ones!
google avatar

Devonte J.

Yelp
My daily go to coffee spot! The service is always great and helpful in describing the items. The Portuguese egg tarts are the best I've tried and the coffee is always consistent!

Darrell L.

Yelp
Been a number of times with great experiences. I just left this place and it seemed a bit out of sorts. The 2 guys behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were doing. It was 12 noon and you're out of matcha? Really? And, when making my drink, it just seemed like it wasn't made with care. When they handed me my drink, I had to tell them I also ordered a cookie. They seemed new and not really present in their work.
google avatar

Andrew D.

Yelp
I like this place, that noted, I also don't think the cookies were spectacular, mostly because their cookie recipe is very similar to Levain bakery. What I tried: Sea Salt Chocolate Chip: a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. I liked it; gooey, thick, but the chocolate chips weren't particularly sweet. A decent cookie, nonetheless. 3/5 Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip: I love peanut butter anything. I also prefer a peanut butter cookie over a peanut butter chocolate. I also prefer a sugar cookie base over the dark chocolate one in this cookie. This too reminds me a lot of Levain's dark chocolate peanut butter cookie, except Levain is more generous with the peanut butter chips. This cookie lacks in the peanut putter chip department, and is what sets it back from a 4/5. 3.5/5 My favorite. White chocolate cranberry. I tried this cookie from their samples. I thought it was tasty, extremely tasty, but still wanted the other cookies more. Thank God for samples! After eating half of the other two cookies I ordered, I had to purchase a whole one of the white chocolate cranberry. Arguably the best cookie at Paderia. Delectable sugar cookie base, generous white chocolate infused into the cookie, and the cranberries were an interesting spin over macadamia nuts. Still prefer macadamia nuts, though. 4.5/5 Coffee: 5/5. I like Paderia enough to warrant a return trip for banana pudding and a cheesecake. Oh, I'm eyeing you, Dulce de Leche Orchata!
google avatar

Mel V.

Yelp
If you have a sweet tooth and appreciate the artistry of baked goods, this small local bakery is a must-visit. The combination of friendly service, delightful treats, and the inviting aroma of freshly baked cookies/pastries creates a memorable experience that keeps customers returning. Their seasonal Oreo cheesecake is a delightful with a perfect blend of creamy richness and the crunch of Oreo goodness. Their decadent cookies are also a must-try, with the chocolate chip being one of my favorites. Among their beverages, they offer coffee and horchata in a few varieties, and they pair perfectly with the bakery's desserts. There's also a bit of outdoor seating on the patio, making this a great place to pop into and grab a seat while you have your coffee/tea and pastry and enjoy some fresh air. Looking forward to coming back!

Yelp
I've been to Paderia Bakehouse before, but not to their Santa Monica location. I was in the area and decided to pay them a visit today. The bake shop is located on corner of Berkeley St/Wilshire Blvd behind Oakberry Acai Bowls and Smoothie. Plenty of parking in back, which is also where the entrance is at. The bakeshop offers mostly takeout, but they have few seats outside for you to enjoy their delicious treats. Never had their cookies before, so I decided to try their sea salt chocolate chip, blueberry coconut pecan cookie and triple chocolate cookie along with a raspberry matcha drink. The cookies were all amazing and thick. Nice crispy exterior with soft gooey center. My favorites were sea salt chocolate chip and blueberry coconut pecan. Sea salt chocolate chip was so scrumptious and rich. Perfect balance of salty and sweet in each bite. Chocolate chip was plentiful and very well distributed. Love flavor profile of blueberry coconut pecan cookie. Kind of reminds me of granola bar, but way better. Triple chocolate cookie was a trifecta of chocolaty goodness. Surprisingly not too sweet, but very rich. I thought the raspberry matcha drink was okay. I tasted mostly matcha and hardly tasted the raspberry. I got mine with milk base so it went well with the cookies. Definitely coming back again.
google avatar

Brad H.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try these cookies for a while now. With my work schedule it's hard to get a day to head to Santa Monica. That day finally came, and it was definitely worth the wait. Giant free parking lot , vibes , friendly people , best cookies in LA (and that cheese Pastry ) Everything was absolutely delicious. If you're in Southern California, make the trip to Paderia.

Yelp
Oh god BANANA PUDDING was better than the hottest guy in bed. Some girl on yelp described it well so lemme rephrase what she said and say it even better lol: it's the fkn smoothest creamiest fluffiest marscapone layered with l slices of banana & cake or vanilla wafers that feel like bites of cake I have no clue!! Just get it and get me one too!! Oh lord and the TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE... i took the chance right before closing time literally at 5pm I'm threatening the cashier "is this cookie gonna be stale af, don't sell it to me if it sucks cuz I can come back earlier in the day when it's freshest" and then she was like well it wouldn't be as fresh as could be but it is good, and I was desperate so I fkn bought it. I Was driving away and took a low-expectation bite, I NEARLY FLEW OUT OF MY CAR SEAT, I couldn't even breathe until I finished all of it and forgot where I was driving to!!! WOWIW decadent doesn't even Begin to describe it. It's like so rich and chocolatey and gooey and sexy that i forgot who my first love Nutella was. If u want like that rich flourleess chocolate molten chocolate pudding ganache shit this is a REQUIREMENT I'm a dessert snob and I rarely give compliments like this unless you give me your all. This is a badass place lookin all Santa Monica minimalist, naw man you stand out like crazy to me. You da one to my heart!!!!

Jordan W.

Yelp
Omg. These. Cookies. Are. So. So. Good! They are thick, soft, and full of flavor. Great as-is and even better warmed up. All counter service, and it was relatively quick. Not much seating, but there are a few small patio tables on the sidewalk out front.

Yelp
An awesome bakery in the Westside. A little pricey, but overall a great experience. Their Portuguese egg tarts are pretty good and their cookies are amazing. If you're not in the mood to drive all the way to Levain, Paderia's cookies are more than up to the challenge. Their banana pudding is also pretty good but it needs more bananas and vanilla wafers! Overall, Paderia is def worth a try!
google avatar

Momo U.

Yelp
Paderia Bakehouse offers unique fusion Asian bakery and drink. From their innovative pastries such as the tasty ube/tiramisu cheesecake to their one of a kind Ensaymada, and the drinks are exceptionally great as well. This bakery elevates the art of pastry making to new heights. The fusion of unexpected flavors of the cheesecake and the freshly made egg tart clearly show their craftsmanship in their pastry making. Truly a true gem for those seeking a delightful and unconventional bakery experience. A must visit for pastry lover or anyone craving a taste of ingenuity in every bite. Banana pudding is delicious andd deliciously layered

Frances M.

Yelp
I stop by to grab some cookies anytime I'm in the area. The cookies are so good! Definitely sharable but they're so good you won't want to share. The drinks are great true, I've yet to try any of the other parties but they seem to sell out of some of them, so they must be good too. They're in the perfect area with a massive parking lot making it very convenient.

Yelp
Truly a magnificent coffee place. First time there and I tried 4 different types of coffees. They were all amazing. A little pricey overall but it was worth it. Ordered ahead and picked up. Service was fast and easy.

Yelp
TL;DR: great egg tart and cookies! Couldn't leave California without trying this place! the outside looked large, but the interior is actually rather small (no seating area); probably due to the space having such a large kitchen. There were a few chairs outside if you wanted to enjoy your treats immediately. FOOD: ~Pineapple Tea Infusion (4/5): so much fruit flavor! But you could still taste the tea. So good! ~Cold brew (3/5): standard cold brew ~Egg Tart (5/5): SO GOOD; they had just come out of the oven, so mine was HOT. Pastry flavor and custard flavor were on point. Wish there was a liiitle more filling, but would still get a whole dozen for myself ~Strawberry shortcake cookie (4/5): one of the sweeter cookies we had, but the strawberry flavor was so good and prominent, without it tasting artificial. So good! ~Triple chocolate (5/5): chocolately without being too sweet. Perfect balance ~Chocolate walnut (3.5/5): standard cookie. Nice crust and soft and gooey on the inside. We ordered the sea salt flavor, but I think we were given the regular chocolate walnut, but it was still very good! This is a must try! For cookie and egg tart lovers everywhere!

Yelp
I heard about this place through Instagram and the photos from Instagram did not disappoint! I came here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy. There was plenty of parking spots at the parking lot and on the street. This place only offers to-go as there was no tables nor chairs. Everything was baked in-house so the pastries were all freshly made from that morning. I got some Portuguese egg tarts, a chocolate chip cookie, a seasonal pistachio orange cookie, a horchata latte and a matcha horchata. Portuguese egg tart 4.5/5 Can't give this a 5 because nothing beat the ones I had in Portugal but these were probably the best I had in the states. I warmed them up in the air-fryer and they were delish! When I first saw these in person, I thought the tart crust was a bit too thick in ratio but after I had them, they were actually a perfect balance with the egg filling. The tart was very flaky and the filling was creamy and silky smooth. Chocolate chip cookie 5/5 I couldn't resist the fresh-out-of-the-oven cookie so I had this in the car on my way back home. It looked like a scone or a muffin top with how thick it was but surprisingly it was crispy evenly outside and soft on the inside. It was filled with melty rich dark and milk chocolate chips so it wasn't overly sweet. Pistachio orange cookie 4/5 I heated this up with the air fryer and it tasted a lot better warmed up. The cookie has an orange floral flavor base and a generous amount of pistachio filling. The flavor was well balanced and the cookie was good but I personally prefer the chocolate chip one more. Horchata latte 5/5 The coffee tasted strong like Vietnamese coffee but with a hint of horchata flavor. It was creamy and perfectly sweetened. This helped my boyfriend to stay awake through the drive back to the bay! Matcha horchata 4/5 I was surprised how well matcha goes with horchata! I could definitely taste the horchata more with this drink than the horchata latte. It will be even better if the matcha flavor is stronger.

Yelp
Worth the stop! We ordered a large horchata coffee. It comes iced. I asked for it to be extra sweet and it tastes perfect! The Choc. Chip walnut cookie was super yummy as well. We loved the size and richness of the cookie. The walnuts pair so well with the chocolate chips! We paid about $12 total for both, which is certainly fair. The baristas were very friendly and it's a beautiful, sunny place to walk into. Love the plants everywhere! All ingredients for a perfect day!
