"Pronounced “padrick’s,” this Vinings pub, open since the late ‘90s, is a gathering spot with almost 40 draught beers, more than 70 bottled beers, and eight TVs. The food menu features American and Irish-inspired dishes, including corned beef and cabbage with roasted potatoes and a lunch portion of beef on weck." - Denise K. James, Eater Staff

First one in door! Caught a booth on father's day, the tacos were more intoxicating than the beer, and that says a Lot! I chose just a glass of Guinness Beer, paired with Calamari appetizer, and got swept. Highly recommended!

In town for the Braves game and this place was near my hotel, the bartender was great!! Food was great!! Had the buffalo shrimp and it was fire. Beware tho I had medium and it was spicy so if you’re spice sensitive go mild lol I would come back if I’m ever back in the area, very cool local spot!

Google
Always an awesome time when I visit. Moved to the area from Dallas and this place has been my go to relax have a good drink and food, do some work, watch games and have a cigar. Ernie and the girls are the coolest! Thanks for my Buckeyes Cotton Bowl Ball, Ernie! Wow! BTW…I’m a Buckeyes fan!!!

Google
One of the best to do it out here! Great food every single time. I brag about their wings cause they never disappoint! Everyone I introduce them to says they have “the spot” until they take a bite. Full menu is solid. Service is amazing. Atmosphere is chill. Highly recommend to everyone - I guarantee they got something you’ll love. Owner is cool as hell too.

Google
Been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. The food is always great! The staff is very friendly and attentive. Everything is kept clean and a 100 on the food score is phenomenal. I stop in for lunch any chance I get, however have done a few game nights here and it’s always a great time! If you are in the area swing by, the owner is there almost always and he is fantastic.

Google
Great neighborhood bar, with daily drink specials, lots of TVs, and a solid food lineup. The jalapeno burger, reuben, and Hollywood are my favorites, definitely go with fries over pasta salad. Service is pretty good and we definitely like to hang out here for long periods of time. A great neighborhood bar

Went to eat last night, server said yes you can go ahead to the courtyard. We sat there for 10 min with no one helping us. We left and went somewhere else. With this said, this is the first time in years we have has poor service. Padriac's usually does a great job.

My boyfriend and I are often in the area and decided to stop for dinner. We sat at the bar. The bartender, Brooke, was AMAZING!! Even if the food wasn't delicious, it would be worth coming back just for her. We both ordered burgers and fries. The food was hot and fresh. I could smell the burger before I picked it up. It was reminiscent of a GREAT backyard-barbecue burger...that perfect chargrilled aroma. I knew it was going to be fantastic and after taking a bite, I was right. Probably one of the best burgers I've had out anywhere. We were way too stuffed to even think about dessert; I could only eat half of my burger. The atmosphere was great. We went on a Saturday night around 7-7:30. The crowd thickened as it got closer to 9:00. There was some old-school rap playing on the jukebox (Rob Base, Young M.C., etc.); EVERYONE in the place vibed to it. We will definitely return, probably for lunch; there are a few offerings on the lunch menu that aren't available for dinner.

Yelp
This has been a staple for us for years - they always have beer specials and on Sundays they do 24oz beers for $4 with the NFL ticket, so tons of games to watch. We prefer the lunch menu because the sandwiches are great, but lots of good options. They have crispy fries and very good ranch. This trip we did wings and the BLT, but we've had the chicken nachos, gulf coast bites, burgers, salads and other sandwiches - all are a hit! Service is always very friendly and quick!

Yelp
Great dinner last night at the end of a busy but good week. This is basically a pub VS. Bar kind of spot. The service was excellent, parking was ample, and the food was decent. The soup of the day was ham and white beans and it was okay but needed a little more seasoning. It was served lukewarm. The Teriyaki Salmon was good and cooked to my liking but the Teriyaki sauce is a little overpowering. It would be better if it was cooked with the salmon and not just placed on top. The sushi rice and veggies were delicious. We didn't get dessert. It's a nice, casual, and decent spot. It very much has a neighborhood hangout feel.

Yelp
Garbage food. They can't even make a Reuben. These people cannot cook. Worst food in Vinings I've experienced. Just a darkl bar posing as Irish but not.

Yelp
Casual Smyrna pad serving your expected standard sports bar fav.'s. Calamari app. was v good. Plentiful for couple folks. The Blackened Chicken Rice Soup was a colourful home run, .. .. go fo it, get the bowl. The couple next to me wouldn't stop talking bout their tasty Jambalaya. Does got loud and full Fri, Sat nights, with a diverse, louder, under 30 crowd ;) Gots 6 wides just at the bar area; Energetic space. The popular alluring bartender Laci will b leaving to b Dental Hygienist.. HUGE Props..

Jim B.

Yelp
Cool spot to come after work... I got the Cobb salad was good blue cheese dressing ...good pour on the cocktails as well

Yelp
My husband and I love this spot Their lobster nachos are so delish! Service is great and drinks are good!

Tony M.

Yelp
Wonderful place to unwind and relax from a hard day of life lol . Good food and drinks staff very friendly

Yelp
Excellent service, delicious food! Always a solid choice for over 20 years! Hands down the best calamari anywhere. I love that it's not the typical breading and marinara sauce. It's cornmeal crusted with sliced okra and jalapenos with a cherry pepper dipping sauce! SO good! Love the hot mama shrimp and a wedge salad is delicious. You can't make a bad pick!

Matt M.

Yelp
Conviently located next to Home Depot, great food, and great service! So, if you're looking to get away from your wife, just tell her you need to swing by HD for a bag of mulch and stop by Pads. Also, Sundays for NFL football are great and you be served by one of the nicest bartenders you'll find anywhere!

Yelp
My family and I went here Father's Day weekend. We wanted something casual and relaxed. To avoid the crowds we went on a Saturday evening. It wasn't very crowded while we were in there which was fine. We ordered the Gouda tots which we all enjoyed. It's topped with white gravy and we got it on the side, but quickly found we thoroughly enjoyed it. It tasted like it had a hint of garlic which was really enjoyable. I ordered the bbq chicken flatbread as my meal. It was really good. The bbq sauce was sweet and spicy and the flatbread had a nice crisp to it. Overall our service was good. Our waitress was nice and attentive. The restaurant was clean which is good. Everyone also enjoyed their food. The only thing is it was somewhat dark in there so my mom has a hard time reading the menu, but I think given that it's a bar and grill the lighting was reflective of the type of atmosphere. I'll definitely be back because I want to try their nachos. A table next to us ordered some and it was a huge serving.

Yelp
Our favorite weeekly spot, discovered randomly a few months back and have been going ever since. Staff and owner are incredible, we've never had an issue with our food. Super tasty, a must if you're in the area. You won't regret it!

Stephanie N.

Yelp
I had the Greek salad with salmon on top. The salad was delicious and the salmon was perfectly cooked. However the food was overpriced. The salad alone was $13.95 and the salmon was an additional $14. The service was okay. She wasn't too friendly or helpful really. I don't think I will return.

Lathon C.

Yelp
I'm between A-OK and Yay! I'm a fan; let's just say 3.5 stars. Was in the Vinings area on a Saturday and decided to meet up with a friend to check out some college football. I went to my trusted Yelp app and the first thing that popped up was Padriac's, so Padriac's it was. Known in the area as a local favorite ( at least one of them). It's a nice-clean pub located in the corner of a small shopping center. Spacious dining area with tables, high top tables, large bar area, plenty of TV's, and outside seating. The food was good enough to come back if I'm in the area. For the appetizer we had the Hot Mama Shrimp, which was an excellent choice and served with home bleu cheese ($11.25). For the meal we shared the Crispy Chicken Wings 1/2 buffalo style with lemon pepper and the other 1/2 spicy BBQ (11.25). The wings were a very good size and didn't disappoint. And lastly, the Mediterranean Chicken Pita which was okay, but I probably wouldn't order it again ($9.25). Overall, the food and service was good and I'll gladly come back. Btw, I sat at the bar...

Yelp
This review may be a little early, however, I will update it accordingly if needed. It was a late night on Saturday and a friend and I were looking for a place to just relax and grab a drink. My friend suggested this spot. The bar is located in the small plaza that includes Einstein's bagel and Verizon wireless. It's an ideal location for anyone staying in nearby hotels. Let's say it was around 11:30pm-12:00am. When we arrived there were several patrons seated in the patio. Please be aware that smoking is allowed outside. Upon walking into the bar I noted that there were only 2-3 patrons inside. Instead of sitting at the bar we opted for a table near the rear of the bar. A young lady came over immediately and greeted us. I was in the mood for one of my favorite drinks, a shot of Tuaca. It is a brandy liquor and typically people look at me crazy when I request it. However Padriac's came through! They actually had my drink! I ordered one shot and it was exactly what I needed. The wait staff was friendly and actually had a few good jokes! She was attentive, and checked on us a few times to make sure we did not need anything else. It's my understanding that they are open until about 2am. However, they were preparing for closure during the time I was there. It was a good experience for me! I will be back to check out the food!

Yelp
I've been coming to Padriac's since 2007. I was sad when I moved to Dallas. I was in town today, and had a chance to stop in; and I am so glad I did. I have missed this place! I had my favorites ; the crispy calamari and the lobster nachos. We ate so quickly, that I forgot to take pictures. My friend is not a fan of okra; so our server was nice enough to have the kitchen split it from our calamari. Her name was Stephanie, and she was awesome ! Great friendly service. Stephanie with her personality and smile made our dining experience even better. Great food, great selection of beers on tap, Golden Tee, and an awesome jukebox! I can't want to come back .

Cathy B.

Yelp
It's weird because the atmosphere is like a sports bar but the menu has entrees like meatloaf and pork chops. There are the typical bar food items available and if those we tried they were good. I guess my complaint is that if you're going to offer these entrées, make them as good as the bar food. Our servers timing was way off. Ordered drinks, waited a while for them. I ordered appetizers and waited even longer. Entrées arrived within five minutes of the appetizers. All in all a meh experience.

Jason M.

Yelp
My favorite bar. Cold beer, big liquor selection and the food is so good. Everything on the menu is great. Friendly staff. You can't go wrong here

Lorna M.

Yelp
Some co-workers took me here during a business trip and I have not stopped dreaming of the Lobster Nachos!

Daniel L.

Yelp
Great place to grab a beer, watch a game, hang with friends and enjoy some delicious food. Today I caught the World Cup Match and had a good lunch at the same time. I opted for the Hollywood and it was a delicious sandwich. A grilled chicken breast smothered with onions, mushrooms, bacon and cheese. It was great. Can't wait to see more of the World Cup here!

Jinal S.

Yelp
Not my favorite but not bad. You get a pretty large quantity. Very nice servers. A nice version of a beer-bar type vibe.

Captain A.

Yelp
Yep they are open and everyone is practicing social distance. I love this place it's always been a awesome social, sports and networking spot. Great drink specials, and good food. Sitting at the bar, a table top or a booth the service is the same. Just follow their 2 rules drink responsibly and Stay safe 6ft

Samantha L.

Yelp
Been coming here for years since I used to live in Vining's. Great spot for beer, food and to watch the world cup. Had the bar to ourselves while watching the Nigeria vs Iceland's game on Friday (6/22/18) at 11:00am. Not having breakfast at home, I opted for a sandwich which resembled a "breakfast" sandwich of the "Hot Ham & Swiss" sandwich. OMG, it was delicious!!!! If you like pretzel, ham, mustard and cheese, you will love this sandwich!! It was divine!!! I will definitely come back here for that deliciousness! Another favorite of mine is the "Lobster Nachos" go ahead and try it, order the half portion and it will still be too big to finish but its so yummy!!

Dan M.

Yelp
Best bar in Vinings area, great vibe, friendly staff, service is always solid and best of all the food is amazing. If you're looking for a proper pub atmosphere with a fun group of regulars, this could be your place!

Baily B.

Yelp
Padriacs is a great bar spot in Vinings. Liz was so fun, friendly, and professional. Had such a great time, will absolutely be back. Try their lobster nachos!

G. Bowman M.

Yelp
One of my old haunts and favorite night spots in Vinings. Great food and people! They are definitely on my shortlist for my Vinings neighborhood feature. Today I had the SHM sandwich with a side of pasta salad and lots of Tabasco on both. Delicious!

Krystal D.

Yelp
This was my favorite bar in Atlanta years ago! We walked in at 6pm on Friday evening and were seated promptly at an open booth. I always debate between the burger or wings as an entree, so we settled on splitting an order of wings and ordered 2 of their daily special cocktails. They have Svedka as their well, so that was a nice suprise. The wings and fries arrived super hot and crispy! (You can choose between fries or celery). We ordered a celery which was .75 and some extra blue cheese.... still AMAZING and really great quality. Some things have changed. I used to love their fried cheese app but they no longer have it and it now cost extra to have blue cheese with the wings if you order the fries, but overall it is completely work the price :) We spent less than $25 with tax.

Ariel A.

Yelp
Love this place! Totally unexpectedly good. The food was great! I'm looking forward to going back.

Lydia J.

Yelp
Yesterday our office ordered lunch from here and I got the "fresh catch" salad which comes with grilled salmon over mixed greens. I didn't know one could mess up a salad as bad as this--it really was probably the worst salad I've ever had. Half of the greens were old and wilted. How they think it's okay to give that to their customers is beyond me. I was busy picking out all the bad lettuce that I was left with about half left. I also expected a nice fillet of grilled salmon but the salmon was broken up into small chunks and very overcooked. I've never seen salmon in chunks/cubes like that before. The salmon was very under seasoned and way overcooked. Even though I didn't dine in, theres absolutely nothing good to say about this place because the quality of their food shows how little they appreciate & value ingredients and the customers.

S R.

Yelp
Just in town from Knoxville to see the Braves. Came here after the game tonight. Amazing chicken nachos. 1/2 size order was enough for 2! Nice atmosphere. Limited late night menu but it all looks good. Glad the Hampton Inn referred us to this place.

Merissa M.

Yelp
$8 Leinie pitcher on a Saturday was . Also, their chicken nachos (half order) are delicious. Staff was super friendly and attentive.

Jackie And Kevin R.

Yelp
Great ambiance, outdoor dining available, service has been hit and miss, bartender has always been quick. Clean, social distancing is going on, they have high tops, low tops, booths and bar seats. We recommend trying the lobster nachos they are the most noteworthy item here in our opinion! Menu has a wide variety and is different depending which meal you are eating. Pricing in the fair-medium price range for the quality of food, I feel its worth it! Presentation has always been nice as well! This is a place we always try to visit when we are in town!

Mick D.

Yelp
I went to Padriac's for the Monday night trivia thing. I was expecting regular bar/pub fare. Boy, was I surprised! There are two menus here, the bar fare I expected is on a "late menu." But there's another menu with a selection of slightly more "upscale" dining options on it. And that had all my attention. It was a busy night, but that didn't stop staff from being polite, and helping our team get comfortable seats in preparation for the aforementioned trivia thing. Placing an order took some time, but staff made some really good recommendations, and looked after our every need. I must say, everyone at the table seemed really happy with their food. The burgers looked good. My friends and I shared some of the Gouda Tots. (These do more closely resemble hush-puppies, but they were indeed tasty.) I then had a dish which instantly transported me back to New Orleans, reminding me of a Crawfish Fra Diavolo dish I once had there. Based on server recommendation, I had Padriac's Jambalaya Pasta (grilled chicken, andouille, crawfish, peppers and onions, tossed in a Cajun cream sauce). Man, they really knocked it out of the park with that dish! I can see why it's a best seller. Or trivia team missed first place by two points. But we'll be back, both to see if we can prevail in trivia, and to enjoy some more of that delicious Jambalaya Pasta. Holler if you're coming with.

Michael S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for about 3 years now and couldn't ask for better service or food! The staff is awesome and the food is amazing.. 23 years and still providing a wonderful environment with very tasty food and beverages. Don't sleep on this gem!

Steve B.

Yelp
It is a cool pub for what it is. Location right off 285 in Vinings. The service is spotty, either hit or miss. Mostly miss. I love the lobster nachos appetizer. Very on point. Their burger is very good and have a decent beer selection. The menu is more than what you bargain for on a pub. They have live music (if you want to count the guy playing a guitar). The customers that visit are cool. Mix of both men and women mingling, hanging out with friends. Small room altogether but cool if you're in the area just to catch up with friends, hang out, have some food, watch the game. Grade: C

Quilla W.

Yelp
I love this little grill. Food is delicious and generous service is fast and friendly. I live in the area and this is my go to spot when I need an impromptu decent meal!

Matt D.

Yelp
Judging by the name I thought this may be an Irish pub but it's a sports bar, which is fine. It features a wide selection of beer, a fun & friendly atmosphere and an outside patio. I recommend trying the Padriac Burger which my wife ordered and avoiding the tasteless meatloaf with side dishes of whipped potatoes and canned corn, which I regret ordering.

Jane V.

Yelp
The atmosphere is very inviting and a great place to spend an evening with friends. My first time in on a Friday evening that had live music. Not a band only a singer and his guitar. I must say he should be out on tour and not in a local establishment. I do not know his name since I am visiting friends in the area. This was July 17th for those locals that my know who I am referring to. Awesome, unique voice one could listen to for hours. The atmosphere, the service, and entertainment top notch, but the food we ordered not so much. I saw many burgers go by and thought that may have been a much better choice. We ordered two sets of the chicken tacos, chicken enchilada, and the Gouda tots. The tots were good but one definitely needed the ranch or other dipping sauce since eating them as they were seemed quite dry. The chicken tacos were made on a double layer of corn tortillas, some chicken and a lot of finely chopped lettuce, tomato, little avocado and a bowl of spicy salsa on the side. We had to ask for sour cream which made it much better. They were nothing to write home about. The enchilada seemed quite small in comparison to other restaurants for the price and also not a dish that stood out. These dishes were good but I would recommend trying something else.

Jimmy K.

Yelp
Very cool atmosphere. Perfectly cooked burger. My wife had the enchiladas and enjoyed them and she is a Mexican food snob. We had the crab cakes for an appetizer and they were great. There was a vodka event going on, Tua maybe, and there were free samples. Couldn't have asked for a better time.

Don U.

Yelp
It was a nice place. High end Bar Food. They had Music Trivia going on when I was there, people were enjoying themselves but it wouldn't have bothered you, not rowdy loud. I stopped here becauae years ago I would stop when staying in Vinings for Sprint by the Mall and it isn't the same place...but it's better for dinner. I remember an Island Bar with smoking because they didn't allow under 18, it's not that place anymore....or maybe I am remembering another Padriacs.. .in the Atlanta area. Nice place, take the kids!

Brian H.

Yelp
Un-comparable. Not meaning to set the bar sky high, but the ruban sammich I received was just that.

Leslie J.

Yelp
We were looking for a good meal rather late for dinner, and this place delivered! Had the gouda bites to start- if you like cheese, they're a winner! We shared the meatloaf and still had some left as the servings are huge! It was delicious if not very Irish. A couple of Smithwicks to go with and left full and happy!

Jeff H.

Yelp
Okay so this review is supposed to be very long so I am going to do something that Yelps does not like and say from the atmosphere, food, service and just because this place is AWESOME Awesome awesome AWESOME Awesome awesome

Carrie Neal W.

Yelp
I have a soft spot for Padriac's. Various nights out in my 20s with the gang, a good friend who met her now-husband there, one particularly memorable lunch with my best-ever boss after we lost a sale. Yes, it can be a very frat-tastic place, but it's still solid in my book. Good bar-type food, from the chicken soup to the sandwiches. Fries are mostly average, of that thicker-cut variety that brings some a little chewy and others over-done. Service is generally ok, especially if it's nice and you can sit on the patio, or if you sit at the actual bar. I'm not over in Smynings that often, but it's a solid spot when I am.

Leonna A.

Yelp
I went to this restaurant bar the first time and was not impressed. I got a shrimp starter that was bland and forgettable. They have a"caesar salad" with roasted tomatoes not in my opinion a caesar salad it was not bad. My next trip I split a lobster nacho with my friend and it was fabulous. It had enough meat, cheese, sour cream and pick for two people easily. I drank a vodka drink with pinapple chunks to that was strong. The waitress was alright and the atmosphere was laid back.

Becca C.

Yelp
Padriac's is one of the best Pub-like restaurants in the Atlanta area. Great burger, ADVICE--- bring the Mac N' Cheese back!!!! (many love it)

Jowan S.

Yelp
Good burger nice atmosphere would recommend for a weekday stop just to nightcap before bed.

Marie R.

Yelp
Great place for a beer and a bite. Salads are large ask for half order if needed. Same with the nachos. Saturday and Sunday football. Call ahead if you are looking for a specific sport or game to watch. My only issue is that it is DARK inside. Not that I like massive amounts of sunlight but it is a dark establishment and requires the light from your phone to see the menu. They should hand out small flashlights to see the menu. Food is good. People are friendly and a definite spot to frequent.

Caris M.

Yelp
I love this place! Their food food is always great and the servers are really nice, especially Lacey! The nachos are amazing and I usually will not do nachos. The atmosphere is classy but with the sports bar feel. Highly recommend this place for any occasion!

Shannayl D.

Yelp
Love the food,l and the service. Great for happy hour or family dinner!! Truly a neighborhood gem!
