The Best Things We Ate This Week - London - The Infatuation

"“You’d think that the tiramisu at a specialty coffee shop would be heavy on the coffee, but this fluffy slice from Page Common Coffee House in Charing Cross was on the lighter side of the spectrum. Airy, thick cream was the star of the show here: my fork had to glide through a layer of this not-too-sweet, cocoa powder-topped stuff before reaching the softened lady fingers, and of course more cream. This fairly large slice was made for sharing while staring out the huge windows and people-watching.” - Rianne Shlebak, Staff Writer" - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

Page Common Coffee House - Review - Charing Cross - London - The Infatuation

"An inviting coffee shop in the lobby of a Charing Cross hotel, Page Common Coffee House is perfect for a relaxed catch-up over a slice of their homemade tiramisu. During the week, people type away on laptops while biting into salmon-filled bagels, as others rock up with suitcases ready to check in. Despite everything that’s going on, it’s a calm, comfortable spot and if you get one of the tables facing the window, you’ll want to stick around for a while and people-watch with a flat white." - Rianne Shlebak

Pricey for what it is - even for central London. The coffee and food are okay. Staff are attentive enough and the view is really good. The best part of this location is the quirky layout and the opportunity for some really good people watching.

The coffee house was amazing. The coffee itself was extremely good and the breakfast was fantastic as well. Really enjoyed both the scrambled egg croissant and the breakfast bap.

Coffee is not as great as it should be for the price. Staff was friendly but not very attentive to the clients , tables needed wiping with a few coffee stains. Great location in heart of London and nice deco.

I love this place. The coffee is smooth, fragrant, full bodied and balanced. The pastries are fresh, flaky, and delicious. More than these is the amazing staff ❤️. They are warm, friendly, and talented. Come and visit, enjoy the wonderful offerings, bask in the light, and leave with a smile.

My first stay in London was at Page8 hotels. We enjoyed our stay, with quite luxe designed rooms and good use of space (cupboard space for clothing and bathroom). Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean with a good range of amenities. However, the reception area is small, with front service staff also managing the cafe (so at times service can be slow). Noise is also quite audible from outside (especially if in lower level rooms).

Such a hidden gem, it’s not so crowded and you can still find a seat easily. Fully air conditioned. Tiramisu was very creamy and tasty.

Enjoyed my second stay in London at Page8 hotels. Its conveniently located in central London, so access to transportation is efficient and close by. Close to quite a few main attractions (The National Gallery, Trafalgar Square) in London and restaurants (Covent Garden) making my stay quite enjoyable. Would recommend others to stay at Page8 if they're looking for a convenient and luxe hotel in central London, its a great choice for first time travellers.

My German review, short and crunchy: I liked the unconventional creation of a Cold Brew Latte, the setting however (a hectic hotel lobby wth) doesn‘t allow me to call it a place for coffee connoisseurs…
