When it comes to dining in the North End, I'm not particularly worried about the star-rating of any Italian restaurant. I figure anyplace that isn't too good isn't going to last long. Local friends had dined here previously and enjoyed it, so we were fine coming here, and the food and experience were quite enjoyable.
The antipasto platter with which we started set the bar pretty high for the evening. With everything on it, it can be quite filling for a small group but just right for a medium group. We almost had to resort to using our utensils as weapons of combat as we fought for those delicious red peppers - they were, for us, the stars of the dish.
My entree, Chicken Felix, is I guess their take on Chicken Francese. The chicken was moist and tender. I'm not sure if you can get a choice of pastas with it, I wasn't asked and I didn't think to ask, but I was fine with the ziti.
I've noticed that the entrees on their website don't match the current menu, so use that for an idea of what's offered, but expect some different options on the current menu (such as the Chicken Felix, for example), and pay close attention the evening's specials too.
Service was great also, we were well attended and everything came out very quickly. I'd certainly visit again.
