We booked a table for two bottomless brunch and we were amazed by the whole experience. First of all, great service. Amazing staff members greet you and are there to help you out. One of the hostesses was very kind and was always filling our cups with water. We tried almost everything. In the beginning I was a bit skeptical about the “bottomless” part because I don’t like to be wasteful of food, but the portions are perfectly balanced for this concept. I love this idea because this is a way to try different flavours without breaking the bank and also waste food. The cuisine is Spanish/mexican with a twist. Loved the breakfast tacos and in general the quality of the food. You could feel that everything was prepared with attention to details on the flavour and the texture of the each bite. We also tried a couple of cocktails. Those are not included on the “bottomless price” but they are very reasonably priced and I believe they made our dining experience even better. We are definitely looking forward to visit soon.

Came here for brunch and it was really fantastic! The bottomless brunch is the perfect amount of food so you get a taste of everything but are still pretty full and the menu is quite varied. I do not know how they do it for $25! What a steal! The horchata cold brew was so delicious. The decor inside is so cute. Will definitely be coming back here for some other meals!

I've been wanting to check out their bottomless brunch for a while, and so glad I went! The bottomless brunch is a really incredible deal. Our server was Sofia who was an absolute angel, quickly got our drinks and showed up just at the right times to place our next order. Their horchata ice coffee was great, and the huevos rancheros, cucumbers, and shrimp tacos are not to be missed. The French toast was probably the best I've had in Boston. Can't wait to go back!

Treated myself to some good food and great cocktails for my birthday. Definitely want to come back! - - - Had 3 cocktails throughout the night: Oaxacan Fig, Beautifully Ordinary, and Beet the Heat, all pictured. All were really tasty and well-balanced. The Oaxacan Fig being my favorite, but the foamy aquafaba in the Beet the Heat was really nice. At $13 each, they're not exactly cheap, but by no means expensive; it's easy to find $16+ cocktails around here. Started with the Shrimp al Ajillo (no picture). That really really great. Shrimp had no bounciness or chew to them lime they sometimes do; firm and crisp. The buttery sauce was nice and warming and smooth. They also give free chips+salsa. The salsa is very tasty and seemed freshly made, but I'm no expert. The chips didn't seem homemade, but I can't complain, they were complementary! Also had 4 tacos: Birria, Short Rib, Crispy Fish, and Mahi Mahi. Like the cocktails, all were really great with a solid variety of flavors, textures, and temperatures in each. The birria might be the exception, as it doesn't really come with toppings like the others do. Plus, it was too hot to even touch when it came to me. That said, it was ultra tasty and probably my favorite. It's also worth noting that tacos are $7-8 each, which is definitely pricey. they're large tacos, but definitely more than I'd like. To top off the night, my server came over with a big slice of what I believe was tres leches cake topped with caramel-y icing, strawberries, and a candle for my birthday. I had indicated it in my reservation. This was unexpected but really, really nice! The cake was incredibly delicious, but I was super full at that point so I could only eat about half of it, unfortunately. The space is bright with lots of colors and great decor, definitely a nice spot to hang out with friends or solo. I sat at the bar, so one of the two bartenders served me. I didn't get his name, but he was nice and let me keep to myself. I might've liked a bit of chit chat, but he was clearly busy, constantly making drinks, so I can't fault him for that. My only knock comes from the volume level: It was a bit on the loud side (but what restaurant isn't?), though maybe that was the booze talking. Overall I spent over $100 with tip, but I was treating myself. 3 great cocktails, a slice of cake, and more food than I could comfortably eat? Not bad. I will definitely be coming back. You should fully expect this place to be packed on Friday/Saturdays, so maybe weeknights are your best bet.

I absolutely love the nachos de la casa here. They’re a perfect mixture of spicy, tart, crunchy and meaty, yet not at all greasy or heavy. When the craving for nachos strikes me, this is the best place to satisfy.

Gabriella

Google
Went here for bottomless brunch…absolutely delicious at a price you can’t beat. Service is friendly and quick, while the ambiance is pretty uncrowded and relaxing. I would highly recommend the French Toast, Molettes, and Chicken + Waffles. Plates are small which adds to the fun of unlimited ordering. Makes for a great morning!

Google
Great spot! Food was amazing..prepared presented extremely well. Try the house nachos for sure! Service also was outstanding…thank you!

This was my first time back here since 2019 and did not disappoint! Love the renovations and menu. Blackberry sage margarita was amazing as was all of the food. Service was very quick. Can’t wait to go back!

Yelp
As a family of brunchers, this is by far one of our new favorites. A++ on the value you get from their $25 Bottomless Brunch menu. We love variety and Painted Burro delivered this -- big time! Our favorites ended up being most of the tapas (corn, potatoes, brussels sprouts and kale salad) and the tacos (fish and cauliflower) while their entree section picks were good but took second place. If you're in the mood for a boozy brunch, they have a sizable selection of signature cocktails. I opted for the Spicy El Diablo margarita and it did not disappoint! I ordered 2 just to make sure ;) Decor was so cute and they are roomier enough for slightly larger groups up to 6. You don't have elbows rubbing up against other elbows like some of the modern taco bars these days. All in all, we are so glad we found this gem and it is officially now in our brunch rolodex. We shall be back!

Lia R.

Yelp
Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for flavor or spice. Skip it and visit bartaco instead. -Baja fish taco: Drenched in a heavy mayo KFC like coleslaw. Fish had absolutely no flavor. -Steak Taco: Just....okay. -Grilled Chicken Taco: Not sure what happened with seasoning....but it didn't make it on the chicken. -Cholo corn: Probably the saving grace of the meal, but corn could have a little more char Drinks: -Blackberry sage margarita: Had high hopes, but it was so tart and sour. -Mango & Pineapple margarita: Decent option, a touch sweet

Yelp
Went here with my son for the second time since last year and it changed... for the better. I love both times as the food is great as is with the atmosphere. We sat outside in a covered patio with white lights and it was just fine. The inside is a bit new as the bar was moved and there are more seats. We both had Margaritas and they were fantastic. The tacos , 3 each were more than enough as we shared the Polanco rice.

Emily M.

Yelp
We did the $25 bottomless brunch (no sides, desserts, or drinks included). Note: you can ONLY do bottomless or you pay per dish for the ones marked with prices - sides, desserts, drinks. (Cannot individually order/pay per tapa, entree, torta, taco). Food: Food was okay (3/5). Texture, flavor, and presentation can be improved, but I guess you get what you pay for. My favorites were the tacos (pork carnitas, short ribs, crispy baja shrimp) and the brussel sprouts. I was not a fan of the entrees and did not try the tortas. Drinks: The horchata coffee was a bit too light on the coffee taste for me. My partner got the coco limeade which was tart/creamy. Service: For essentially an AYCE, the service was pretty good. The waiter came by as soon as we were almost done with our plate to ask if we wanted to order more. Overall: Not sure if I'd come back

Yelp
This is a great, fun spot to go enjoy some tacos and drinks. They recently renovated the entire inside which looks outstanding. The food is always good yet the value could be a bit better. Most recently, I went the other night for drinks and some small bites and thought everything was great except the chips...not sure if it was just the end of the night or what but they seemed a bit stale. Regardless, this place is consistently good and a good option for Washington Square.

Alice D.

Yelp
Great deal for AYCE brunch! We made a reservation for mid morning Sunday brunch, but honestly we probably didn't need one as the place was pretty empty when we got there and didn't pick up too much by the time we left. We got a table outside and it was super pleasant - overall, great ambiance. The menu had a good mix of different breakfast plates and they were all on the smaller side, making it easy for us to pick as many as we wanted to try. The corn, Brussels sprouts, and potatoes were my favorite sides. The tacos were pretty delicious and flavorful whole the pancakes/waffles weren't bad either. Overall, everything was pretty well made, albeit nothing stuck out or stole the show as an amazing dish. For the price and quality of food as well as the quantity, I enjoyed the overall vibe and meal itself. The service was decent as well, although a bit hard to flag down for water. Overall, I would definitely come back due to how good of a deal it was, although it wasn't the most amazing brunch ever. Regardless, enjoyed my time and would be happy to return if I'm ever in the area again!

Linda P.

Yelp
The cocktails are unique and great. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, although the wait staff was not very attentive that day. In terms of food, it was decent, but do NOT get the Birria taco as it does NOT come with dipping stew. It is so bland and disappointing. How do you have Birria tacos without stew?

J K.

Yelp
A big Meh. Bland food and so so service. The place was empty For good reason. They should have used the money they spent renovating on the food.

Christiane M.

Yelp
yum! definitely a bit pricey with taxes and tip and such but definitely worth a trip and had a lovely vibe inside with good food and drinks. i'd come back

Joy G.

Yelp
Amazing brunch deal - $25 per person for all you can eat, not including drinks, sides, and desserts, 90 minutes (though we stayed closer to two hours right as brunch ended in the middle hours between lunch and dinner, and no one chased us out). Just know that, each time you order, be sure to order A LOT so you can get your money's worth. We ordered one of each of the tacos, the Mexican street corn, the wings, kale salad, and patatas bravas. Though the portions were on the small side, given it was AYCE brunch-style, we left very full and happy. I wouldn't say anything we ordered was super authentic or the best tacos ever but I really enjoyed the shrimp and short rib tacos, as well as the wings and deep fried potatoes. My bloody Mary was nicely heavy on the tequila and the mix, though could have used more spice (and I have the puniest spice tolerance). I'd definitely come back to try the other items on the menu, especially the tortas. I loved the patio seating - nothing beats eating outside in the summer. Lots of parking nearby, especially if you use the Passport app.

Sanjeev J.

Yelp
Food was meh. I ordered the birria taco and the double stack taco. Birria taco was decent but nothing like a birria taco really. The double stack taco was just dry. The additions of the rice and the pork not that great. Rice was undercooked. Wouldn't come here again.

Yelp
My friend and I got reservations here on a Sunday around 1:45pm but was going to be a little late so called the restaurant. They easily pushed our reservations to 2pm. However, when we sat down the hostess said the kitchen is closing soon and was told to order everything on the first round but the our waiter was super nice and didn't make us feel rushed. We ended up getting mimosas and the bottomless brunch. They ran out of some of the menu but the stuff we got like the potatoes and Brussels sprouts were really good. I always like the tacos. The burro benedict was tasty. My least favorite was the pancake so I'd skip that but everything else was great!

Erika R.

Yelp
Excellent brunch experience! Heard about the bottomless brunch through a friend, so we came to check it out last Sunday. Location in Brookline was super easy to get to and parking was easy. The decor inside is really unique, make sure you take a look around at the art on the walls. Thankfully, I made a reservation because they were starting to get busy! We were seated immediately browse through the menu, and when the waiter came over. He walked us through the menu and how the bottomless brunch worked. It's pretty simple all you can eat for 90 minutes, not including drinks or sides. We opted for a bottle of champagne, because brunch. Like all of the portions are individually sized, and made to order so you can split or enjoy your own personal portion and try a bunch of items. Some of our favorites were the chicken and waffles, the shrimp tacos and the tortas. You could probably skip the eggs Benedict, it's not bad just nothing special. Save room for the more savory dishes like the French toast. Service was great throughout our time there we never felt like we were waiting to order a dish or waiting for something to come out. I would love to come back here in the summer when their patio and outdoor seating is opened.

Yelp
Beware the 5% "Kitchen Admin Fee"...this is in addition to tax and any gratuity you may with to bestow...

Yelp
I had an awesome experience at Burro Bar on thursday! We had a 6:30 reservation for a party of 6 and it wasn't too crowded when we first sat down. I started with a cucumber marg that was great, but had a house marg for for round 2 that was even better. We were served some tasty chips and salsa to start, and also ordered the nachos to share. They were really delicious. I went with tacos for the main course, and got the baja fish as well as the short rib taco. I would say 2-3 tacos is enough if you start with an app! Both of them were awesome and had great, authentic flavor. For dessert we had churros and tres leches cake. Both of wish were just fine, nothing special. Overall I would definitely return to Burro Bar!

Sarah F.

Yelp
Disappointing as compared to Burro Bar, the previous restaurant before Painted Burro took over. We started with the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was good. Everything else (which included tacos, enchiladas, refried beans and rice) was lacking flavor. Our daughter and her husband vouched for Bar Taco next time, and we maintain Sol Azteca remains best Mexican in the Boston area. I will say that the atmosphere of Painted Burro is vibrant, colorful and fun - and for that reason could still be a good choice for a gathering.

Rosanell J.

Yelp
The food was incredible , cant complain. We got a little bit of everything. Def try the coco-lime drink. Attended the " all you can eat brunch" on Sunday and it was a cool experience. The food was always surprisingly good. TIP: order more than one item at time because it's Tapas style very little portions but its worth it. The only reason I give this place 3 stars was because the service was Horrible!! Our waiter, and the other staff were rude and told us to hurry up because we only had 45 minutes. This really took away from the experience. We were not looking to stay longer. It was our first time, and we disclosed it. I noticed that all the staff were this rude. The only person who offered a smile was the host at the door. THE WORST PART WAS.... there were only 4 tables filled at the time we were there. It never got crowded and the weather did not help the crowd ... so no real need to rush anyone. Food was great, service was horrible

Isa D.

Yelp
Burro bar is a lovely option for bar and solid Mexican fare. The space is beautiful with a bar, high tops, and tables. there is also an outdoor patio which would be great in the summer. The cocktails were tasty--I tried the spicy margarita which was solid. I think the drinks were a highlight for sure. We ordered the salad and Brussels sprouts which were tasty but not outstanding. The chips and salsa were terrific however. I got a birria and Al pastor taco. Both were decent although the Al pastor was better in my opinion. Others at the table got the pork enchiladas and vegetarian enchiladas. The pork enchiladas were tasty, although I'd recommend the mole on the side since it was pretty sweet. The squash enchiladas were also on the sweet side. Of note, my sister forgot her phone and the waiter ran out to give it to her in freezing temps! Flavor: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Location: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Price: $$ Would return? Yep

Neeka P.

Yelp
Went here because I had a giftcard. The inside was super cute and we got an amazing strawberry and lime spritz drink!! Would definitely get that again. The nachos were also pretty good. The service wasn't great which was disappointing, it felt like the staff didn't come around much to check on us which was frustrating. The food was fine, not bad but not worth the expensive price. I'd maybe go back because the food wasn't bad, but you can get better for cheaper elsewhere.

Shelby B.

Yelp
Meh - probably wouldn't return. We called ahead and made a reservation for our group of 12. When we arrived, they were seating us out on the sidewalk. It was very chilly and we told them we previously requested to be inside. The hostess and manager went back and forth for several minutes about what to do and they finally squeezed us into the enclosed patio space. This was disappointing, but nevertheless, we stayed for dinner. My margarita was AMAZING and the perfect amount of spicy from the jalapeno's inside. My fajitas were also tasty and they have a twist that not every other mexican joint offers, but I was a little bummed it didn't come with rice or beans. The chips and salsa is only complimentary for the first round and they only brought us 3 dishes for our group, which did not go a long way when there were 12 of us. Maybe a better place to go if your group is small.

Alex C.

Yelp
I went to Burro Bar on a Thursday evening with some friends and it was packed and lively when I walked in. The waitstaff seemed minimal for the dining room, like 2 people waiting on 15 or so tables, and we waited a while for our server to come back to take our order. We put it all of our food and drinks in one go, and the drinks started appearing 10 minutes afterwards. I was craving a burger for dinner and decided to get the Burro Burger, which was cooked to my liking and had some bacon, cheese, guacamole and ranch. It was a great combination of toppings and the burger as a whole was soft and a manageable size. The potatoes that came on the side were a bit bland and I had to add some hot sauce to give it some life. After we finished, we waited some more time before our server came with the bill. An extra person on the waitstaff would've helped improve the experience but the food and drinks came quickly after they were ordered.

Marian A.

Yelp
The food that came out was room temperature or warm at most. The waiter was nice but was not attentive, possibly due to short staffing. The classic mimosa was made using puree instead of proper orange juice. On top of all of this, they add a kitchen admin fee to the bill, which is not stated anywhere. The ambiance is nice but I wouldn't come back.

Shaq E.

Yelp
Finding parking may or may not be a matter of luck but just be able to pay the meter. The margaritas were underwhelming but tolerable. The nachos are good but it was alot like eating a salad..? It had alot of cabbage and carrot slices, it was quite odd. We got birria and short rib tacos (with the meal - rice and beans). The short rib was kinda bland and the birria wasn't crispy enough for my liking. The vibe I get is that people come here before their end destination or to catch up as a group. Overall, it's just alot of loud talking with background music. The service was just okay. I think this place is a maybe; if you see it in passing and you're hungry, maybe stop by. They also offer brunch so that's a maybe too.

Koh S.

Yelp
Burro bar, what a lovely place. As I hold the soft tortilla that holds a delectable boat of rice and meat, sauced to perfection, I think to myself: what could be better. My date grows jealous as I treat my taco with more finesse than I have shown in our tenure. She's furious, hot, spicy but yet... cannot compete with the flavors of the Carnitas taco, or the roasted corn I ordered for myself(not her). At first glance it may seem that I am a nervous date; drinking my michelada as if I ran a marathon. However, this is not the case. It is an desperate attempt to drown my deeply negative inner monologue. The michelada is delicious, cold, spicy and calculated; like my mother. Christian, my server was excellent and attentive. Love, Koh

Ruth N.

Yelp
i went to there this evening the host I'm the front door was terrible sorry but you lose a good client

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
I love Burro Bar! They have a coconut margarita (seasonal, so you MUST get it when it's on the menu!) that is so, so tasty. Great variety of tacos and plates here that are unique. Also, I highly recommend their weekend brunch which has AYCE breakfast/lunch options!

Kimi T.

Yelp
Authentic Mexican food, large portions and authentic (and strong!) margaritas! Not going to lie, that's what brought us there in the first place!

Jordana M.

Yelp
Delicious! Loved the bottomless brunch. Here's what we got. Brussels sprouts - loved, crispy Elote - good Cauliflower - good Shrimp taco - yummy Salad - okay Mimosa - delicious

ric g.

Yelp
I'm sorry to give this review since I'm a fan and patron of this restaurant But. If u are closed for renovation please have the courtesy and professionalism to update your customers on your website. Phone number recording. Google maps. Or even yelp. Just plain lazy and unprofessional.

Sharon L.

Yelp
Made a reservation at burro bar for some brunch this past weekend and was definitely not disappointed. The service was great and when I called to see if I could switch my reservation to be indoors they were very accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised when there was actually a bottomless brunch special going on until 3PM. That meant unlimited brunch dishes!! (Drinks not included) Obviously we ordered a bunch of things - the French toast, tortas, corn, A LOT of tacos and much more (basically everything on the menu) Overall all the dishes were pretty decent but what stood out was the French toast - it was sweet but not overwhelming, super soft and delicious, the pork carnitas tacos were also really good with a great refreshing crunch from the apple pieces in there. They ran out of short rib and burro wings but would definitely come back to try that!! The brunch was also $21 per person which was a great price for the amount of food we got! Would definitely recommend trying this place out!!

Anarie S.

Yelp
Great place for all you can eat brunch in Saturdays/Sundays! I can here for a party of four and got seating right in the patio. The staff were really nice and very accommodating. The bottomless menu is great! There are lots of options to chose from and the portions are small for sharing so you can have room for a lot. Note that drinks are not included in the bottomless.

Yuran T.

Yelp
We had a reservation for 6 and were seated right by the door and the AC was blowing on us, so we requested to be seated at one of the other tables instead. The hostess insisted that we couldn't due to other reservations which I didn't really understand since there were 9 other empty tables for 2, but I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. There ended up being 4 tables still empty by the time we finished our food 1.5 hours later and most of the others werent even filled until 1 hour into our meal. I wouldn't mind this if the food was amazing but it was pretty average. I'll probably opt to go somewhere else with easier parking and better service next time. Seats were also uncomfortable to sit in in general.

Yelp
16years ago my husband chose me to spend the rest of our together. And yesterday we celebrated 14 years of marriage. And we chose YOU for that celebration. Yep Mexican for St Paddy's Wedding Anniversary Extravaganza! We've been in the neighborhood for a few years and hadn't been here yet. What were we thinking ?? Obvi we have no brains. I blame that loss on getting old. Your online ordering is simple so thank you. I had the street cart chicken. He had the mushroom enchiladas. My chicken was so juicy and the skin has a perfect slight crunch. I enjoyed the rice though I wish there was more rice than greens ! And the plantains were good. I normally don't love plantains but I enjoyed these. My husband thought his enchiladas were savory. He devoured his plate. It was definitely lighter than the chicken :) You have so many yummy things on your menu that we can't wait to try. We will be back. Hopefully soon-- and in person. Thanks for making our anniversary dinner special!

Holly D.

Yelp
The restaurant is a little hidden on the street. From the outside the restaurant does not look impressive; however, the inside is beautifully decorated. This is a great place for brunch and attracts many people on Sundays. Make sure to book a reservation beforehand. They have options to order individual mimosas or a 'bucket' for a table. My group ordered the bucket with mango and pineapple juice which was very tasty. Most of the food is included in the $25 fee - some sides cost extra. The portions per each item on the menu is small so don't be shy when ordering items. As for the food, everything tasted delicious. The service is great as well as they make frequent visits to your table to check on you. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the Boston area.

Jeff K.

Yelp
eaten here many times and loved it but yesterday was very disappointing. ordered two tacos. the chicken was ok but the steak was lukewarm and tired. the cole slaw looked and tasted old. it was my first time since the renovation and maybe it was a new chef or just an off day. but I'm going to avoid this place for the time being.

Ashley B.

Yelp
We sat right down, the service was amazing, and the food was not only delicious...it was beautiful too! Will be returning!

Alexandra M.

Yelp
$21 for an all you can eat brunch for 1.5 hours is a great deal here. We were unsure if it would work out for our table with 2 yelpers but it was great and we didnt need the full 1.5 hours. The plates are small but you can just keep ordering, our server checked in so much we were never worried about running out of time and everything came out super quick. I really enjoyed the morning taco, kale salad, potatoes, and cauliflower. The pancake and French toast were both very sweet so I would only recommend one per person. We had the mango margarita in a pitcher, and then the house margarita, which was a really switch because you can't taste the tequila in the mango one and in the second it is very strong.

Judie K.

Yelp
Absolutely been enjoying their all you can eat (AYCE) brunch! For $21, they've got some amazing brunch options to choose from. We don't love every single dish, but here are some of our favorites: their Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, potatoes appetizer, French toast, pancakes, and most of their tacos (their morning tacos and shrimp tacos are quite addicting). These are dishes we'd order over and over again. The customer service is generally quite fast and great so we appreciate it a lot. Sometimes they give us an extra order of certain foods, which is fine, but then we feel obligated to finish it when we want to order something else instead. I also just say I love their passion fruit Bellini and mango one as well! Great pairing with their brunch.

Patrice R.

Yelp
What a great place, I came for brunch and stayed for the DRINKS! The location is great if you're able to. The patio is awesome on a great day. They have delicious small bites. You pay one price for the brunch, and did I mention the Margaritas. Service was fair parking can be hard. Will go again the city views are everything.

Carlotta C.

Yelp
$21 bottomless brunch! This place has so much good stuff on their menu, you might as well do their bottomless brunch to try a bit of everything! The best in my opinion were the cripsy fish tacos and the pancake, served with crushed almonds, dulce de leche and pan fried banana. The kale salad is also worth ordering - adds a nice kick to your order

Jocelyne T.

Yelp
Visited burro bar for dinner. Their birria tacos were delicious! I tried their house margarita and you could tell it was a fresh- margarita mix. The tacos are on the $7/ each range but I was very full after 2 tacos and a side of plantains. I would say it is definitely worth the money. It is on-street parking but I was able to find some parking on the close-by side streets. If you are around brookline, this is a great place to try for sure.

Jessica L.

Yelp
Tried the bottomless brunch with a group of friends (7 people) and it was a blast! The value at $21 per person is totally worth it. We ordered some drinks separately (yay for $6 mimosas) Ended up trying nearly everything on the menu! Overall the food was more like a 4/5 but considering it was AYCE I feel it deserves a full 5 star rating. I really liked the shrimp tacos, pork carnitas taco, chilqauiles, shishito peppers, and brussels sprouts. Some of the other tapas dishes were just ok (like the cauliflower was meh but the sauce was good). In terms of service, they did a respectable job of checking in for additional orders. My main complaint was that even though they took our orders individually they randomly served the dishes to the table. Also, if your table orders more than one of the same dish they will combine the orders on one plate, even if you're sitting on opposite ends of the table. Overall, if you want to enjoy a good time, chill atmosphere, and a great deal on an elevated AYCE Mexican brunch, this is the place.

Yelp
I went to Burro Bar for their all you can eat brunch for $21. The food was so good. The fish tacos, the short rib tacos, the papas bravas and the blta gotta were some of the highlights from this brunch. I also had the bloody Maria - their twist on a Bloody Mary. It was very spicy and very good it was topped with a lime and celery. The service was very good and the food came out quickly. There was 5 of us at brunch and it is better with more people to be able to try all the food. You can order multiple rounds of food as well. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
The place was packed. Seated at the bar and it felt like being on an airplane, one on top of another, and elbows encroaching on your dining space. It's loud and the food is subpar to decent. $7/taco is way too expensive. Most of the reviews are of their Sunday bottomless brunch. I wouldn't come here on any other day.

Yelp
I loved everything about my visit. I don't normally like tequila, but their strawberry dragonfruit margarita was amazing! The tequila is infused with dragonfruit which cuts the tart taste that I don't normally enjoy. Our waitress was so friendly, offering us many suggestions and tips for navigating the menu. The space is beautifully decorated and well distanced. We felt safe to dine! The short rib taco was to die for. It has both a soft and crunchy tortilla which added great texture. The short rib itself was super juicy. I also enjoyed the Baja fish taco. Crispy, fresh, and paired with a delicious cream sauce. I'll be back for more! A must visit in Brookline.

Yelp
My friends took me here as one of them knew this place does an "all you can eat" brunch! How it works is you can order dishes from your server and they will bring them out to you. The service was 5/5 as everyone was extremely polite and quick. When we ordered our food, it only took about 10 minutes for 8 different dishes to be on our tables. We couldn't keep up with them! All the dishes in the all you can eat menu are relatively small, and that's great because you get to try so many different dishes! I can say with confidence that everything on the menu is good, especially the tacos! This was an amazing experience and I'm glad I got to try it!

Yelp
Amazing experience and service here. We came here on a Sunday afternoon wanting some appetizers and a few drinks. To our delight, that actually had a full brunch menu that was served all day for about 20 bucks. The options were vast and super great taste. I definitely tried a lot on the menu. The place is sort of served like tapas style, so you can definitely divide and share amongst your table. I got the tacos (pulled pork, beef, and shrimp one). The pulled pork was my favorite. It also comes with this apple salsa, I didn't care for it as much as the aioli, which was creamy and a good sauce for the taco. The nachos are also a good option and is great for sharing with a group. All the topping were great. We said chorizo and jalapeños on the side since not everyone in the group liked them. The star of the buffet, was the grilled corn on the cob with accents of cheese and spices. They ran out of corn. I can see why since it was a hit. The grilled Brussel sprouts with bacon was also good. Salty from the bacon, and earthy and bitter from the brussels sprout. The potatoes were OK- but nothing to go crazy over. Same with the wings, it had a grilled and zesty flavor, but the the wings itself were average. The nachos were so good we ordered another order! Overall, the service was attentive and also very understanding. The manager came out to let us know that the corn was sold out, but there were still other veggie options on the menu. Drinks were refilled promptly. Servers came to check on us without us try to flag them down. The workers were courtesy and approachable.

Yelp
I went to Burro Bar for dinner and drinks with a few friends. Overall, I was not at all impressed with the place. I made a reservation for their "outdoor patio", but it honestly did not make me feel too covid-safe. As someone who has strictly been doing take-out and outdoor dining, I was disappointed with their "outdoor patio". There are plastic curtains enclosing 3/4 sides of the patio, and it's not like it was raining or anything..It was a warm April 60 degree day in Boston. There was barely any air flow on the patio with only one of the sides open to the outside. I'm not sure I would have counted this as safe "outdoor dining". For the food: First of all, the tacos are $7 each! I thought $7 was going to be two tacos, but it was only 1 so I couldn't fathom spending $7 on 1 taco. I had the chicken quesadilla, which was $12, and it was pretty disappointing. The chicken had literally no flavor or seasoning on it, which I found quite odd. It was pretty cheesy which was the only saving grace, and came with pico and sour cream. Quesadilla portion size was normal. There was a free portion of chips and salsa for the table, but they didn't give us enough salsa for the chip ratio. The salsa was also mediocre, very smooth/homogenous (weird consistency), and not spicy at all. For the drinks: I ordered the hibiscus margarita ($12). It was pretty good - hibiscus flavor was nice and sour, average portion size / price for Boston. I tried my friends mango margarita and it was also pretty tasty.

Yelp
I've been here several times and the service is always great. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food is pretty good as well. They sometimes lack enough salt in their food. Their queso fundido is also more of a dip than a fundido.

Yelp
I'm not big on the food here. I also don't like mayonnaise on my Mexican food. But the locals that frequent this place can make for a fun evening. It'd recommend going for drinks and apps.
