What a great winery! Good place for taking pictures on a beautiful day, you have a cozy but classy atmosphere and the landscaping is gorgeous! The view is amazing! Staff were attentive and friendly. Shout out to Auntie Momo. Wine was good too 😉

I chose Painted Rock Estate Winery to celebrate my 31st birthday weekend, and I honestly can’t put into words how incredible the wine tasting experience was. The staff—Monique and Kristian—were not only welcoming but also impressively knowledgeable. They were true wine nerds in the best way, sharing in-depth insights about the grapes, the winemaking process, and the unique challenges faced during different vintages. I had travelled from Vancouver with no chance to reset or rest, and by the time I arrived at the winery, I was completely exhausted. Even though it’s primarily a wine tasting facility, the lovely staff went above and beyond—offering me a shot of espresso to help me feel refreshed and present for the experience. That thoughtful gesture made a lasting impression and really set the tone for a memorable visit. Definitely recommending to visit Painted Rock Estate!

Second year in a row we have visited this Estate Winery. Also second year in a row that Jennifer hosted and provided tasting for us. On this visit we had our small dog with us and Jennifer was very accommodating. We ended up with several fantastic selections of wine to come home with us. The Red Icon was amazing and a delight to sample. We will see you again next year when we come back for a visit to the Okanagan. We recommend Painted Rock as a winery everyone should visit.

Superb tasting environment, the sight itself it a must come already. But wine itself is on the higher price in okanagan, but not as good as the wineries in Cawston. Here they emphasize on the 18month aging of their red in French oak, but turns out the wine red in Cawston spent longer time in oak and more affordable. Their tasting fee here is $25, without waiving upon purchase which is the highest I see in this trip, but the staff is anyway the least friendly I met.

We had a fantastic experience at Painted Rock Estate Winery. The ambiance is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a reservation for a wine tasting, and the wines were exceptional—each with its own unique flavor profile. The charcuterie board we ordered was delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. The winery is also very family-friendly; our friend brought their child, and the staff made us all feel comfortable and accommodated. It's clear they put a lot of thought into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. We can’t wait to return!

Okanagan wineries are a summer joy for locals and tourists. Painted Rock Estate Winery is no exception. Their outdoor venue offers spectacular views of Skaha Lake under the back drop of arid mountains. Allowing yourself to relax and sample their wonderful Cabernet, Syrah or Merlot while enjoying the exquisite landscape lets you understand what Okanagan life is all about. Painted Rock has a warm and inviting environment. Their staff care about your visit, explain what went into the creation of the wine and what you should expect to discover through taste. Each wine is unique and delicious.

This place is truly amazing with its modern design and impressive architecture. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming, and we had the pleasure of being assisted by Monique, who was absolutely amazing! She gave me a customized wine for my birthday 🥹 The taste of the offerings was fantastic, leaving a lasting impression. I highly recommend trying this place without a doubt. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss! Try it for sure!

Incredible winery. Some of the best wines in the region, in an absolutely stunning yet down to earth setting. Monique and the team always go out of their way to give amazing service. No idea why people below gave 1 star reviews. Wanting to spend only 15-20 minutes at a winery is a strange expectation. They must've had a bad day!

Painted Rock Estate in Penticton is a family winery committed to the production of ultra-premium, terroir driven Okanagan wines from their single estate vineyard. Their modern and strikingly designed tasting room offers wines paired with charcuterie. Painted Rock is a definite must-visit on your next visit.

Painted rocks is the first stop of our wine tour this trip and this was our first time trying their wine. The winery is very modern, built 6 years ago but looks brand new. Their outdoor seating has a stunning view and their outdoor lounge area is nice and cozy. They offer a charcuterie plate for $20 or you can sit on the lawn with a picnic blanket and bring your own picnic. Let's talk about their award winning wine! We especially enjoyed their Chardonnay, Syrah and Res Icon!

Pretentious and over-priced are words that come to mind when I think of my experience tasting here. The grounds and views are stunning, and a lot of money seemingly went in to the tasting room, as it does look modern and upscale. I found the staff friendly and talkative, but I wasn't impressed with the wines, typically around $35-45 a bottle, but taste-wise they would be more realistically priced around $20. The owner also boasted about how they would deliver a case across Canada to Ontario for $60. Which is exorbitant considering other wineries nearby only charge $15-20 per case for delivery. I get the feeling that if you have more money than sense, this is the place for you. However, a wise investor could spend their money better.

Nice winery, pretty view. Good wines, great ambiance in the tasting room. Also dog friendly! Service was good, obvious effort being put into covid 19 precautions. A fun winery-would recommend.

I made a special trip here-- why??? , for the Rose. Its " tasty " and I like tasty things. Nice bright modern tasting center. Nice staff. Great wines . Really enjoyed our short visit.

Great place to visit if you want to be treated poorly. Despite the lovely location, our first server walked away from our party mid-tasting. Parsimonious pours were the norm. Sad that some of the staff aren't interested in being ambassadors for their own wine. Many better experiences to be had in the Okanagan.

Fantastic wines, great staff, superb view, and if someone complain about the amount they charge to ship a case of wine, maybe they didn't get that it wasn't shipped by Canada Post but by a service that monitors the temperature of the shipment. Yes it is more expensive, but wine and heat don't go well together and with wines so good, you need to make sure the product was properly handled. Painted rock was my favorite tasting in Okanagan.
