Paisano's Pizza Grill

Walked in at 9:00 on a Friday night and everyone had great attitudes and the food came out quickly! The new Bees Ferry pizza and Italian calzone were AMAZING!! My husband cannot quit talking about the calzone crust! Will definitely be back whenever we are in the area!

A Sunday night staples for us and our friends. Some good pizza and some Ski Ball is always a welcomed good time. This is a popular place so be prepared to wait a few moments as everything is prepared to order. Worth the wait. Very busy with the beach and tourists in the Summer so plan ahead. They also do a big delivery business as well

Ordered an Italian, American and Margarita pizza. Along with hot garlic and hot BBQ wings, as well as a Caesar salad with 2 drinks. With tip, I spent about $70, but it was worth it in my opinion. My two favorite things were the wings and the salad. The Caesar salad is probably one of the best salads I’ve had! The fresh, crispy, warm croutons they make with their garlic bread was amazing. I wish there was more lettuce to balance out, but I will definitely be getting a large portion next time.

Burned too many times here in various ways so finally leaving a review after tonight's experience. The wings here are a consistent joke. They are the concepts of wings, if you will. The picture doesn't even do this justice, as it appears in them that their may be a nibble of edible meat - I assure you there was not. They also forgot the dressing with my salad and the tomatoes seem to be identifying as raisins. The pizza was solid at least, credit there. Tonight they did have my order ready at the time specified, but that is has not been the case more often than not. It's a local neighborhood place I'd like to support, but it's been a consistently poor to mediocre experience over the years.

Ordered pizza and wings on a Saturday night for delivery. It was a bit of a wait, but that's to be expected during the summer. The dry rub ranch wings were delicious and the pizzas we got were perfectly cooked and fantastic. Will have to try eating in the restaurant while we're in town.

Ordered on NYE, I understand it's a busy night, but it showed up a complete mess as you can see. I emailed them after receiving it and seeing it and sent the picture, and they responded asking if I want a new one, which was nice, but because it was NYE and getting late, we ate the pizza and didnt want more, and I mentioned that in my email response. It was not very flavorful and continued to fall apart while trying to eat it. No structure. I have emailed them back 3 times since then asking for some sort of resolution to a terrible experience, and since there has been no response since Jan 1, here we are.

Honesty is the best policy.... if you are going to take over double the promised delivery time just let the customer know so they can plan accordingly. Don't lie when your customer calls for an update..... "Oops," or "its already left," or "we are busy" is not an excuse. Truthfully the food is good but be leary of the delivery.... we ended up cooking for ourselves.....

YUM!! The garlic rolls are crazy good and perfectly doughy, and there are one billion specialty pizzas to choose from as well. I got the St. Nicks Pizza, and it was great! I’m not a fan of pizza sauce and they had tons of options with different sauces. Ranch on pizza is surprisingly good if you’ve never tried it.

So after church I walked into Paisano's Pizza after passing by for years i was fretted by their friendly staff with a pleasant smile. I told her I was from NYC and wanted to try their Chicken Parmigiana sandwich. Well it didn't disappoint!! The sandwich was full of cut up chicken smothered in sauce and topped with Mozzarella cheese, delicious!! Service was quick, staff friendly and their dining area takes you back to the NYC styled leather half circle tables with arcade games. Daily specials are available for both lunch and all day I will definitely return to try their Calzone next time.

We've eaten here several times as a family and have always had a good meal. Wings are always very good. I prefer the Nashville Hot wings. Pizza is good. Crust is crispy, and cheese is perfect. This is not NY pizza, but it's still good. One person at our table had the chicken bacon ranch pizza. He has it wherever it is offered. He said this one is one of the best. Blue Chips as an appetizer is always a hit at our table. Mild buffalo sauce may be too hot for some people. It's actually not spicy enough for me. I typically turn it up. Another plus is that you can have a beer with your pizza. Inside is a little dark but clean. There are quite a few tables inside and a few outside. Counter service was great. Food came out quick. Everything was hot and delicious. Food runner to the table seemed a bit off her game today, but everyone has an off day.

We decided to check out this pizza joint based on google reviews and distance. It was approximately 1:15 pm and after church. We were originally going to go elsewhere but the reviews were not as good. As we approached the counter, a man offered us a menu. We decided on a medium size, one side half pepperoni and half mushrooms-basil on the other side. However when we placed our order, the lady at the counter wasn't friendly, when I asked her a few questions about the pizza and drinks, she had a bit of an attitude and was coarse with her response. Pizza was decent, I found it to be flavorful, crust was good. I will look for another joint with friendly service and good pizza, there are so many places to choose from and still looking.

Wow some of the better takeout pizza I've had. The Holy City Hot is a must-try. Pickles on pizza just work and that chicken is so, so good. The Green Thumb was devoured by everyone before I even had a chance to taste it so I assume it was also tasty. Even the cheese pizza had me thinking I was eating a slice from a New York City joint. The house chips with salt and vinegar and blue cheese are delicious as well. The boneless wings are decent as well but the pizza and chip are a star. Such a great little local gem!

The fat boy pizza is one of my favorites. Definitely recommend buying on a Wednesday when it's $15. The fat boy lives up to the name and can easily feed 4 people.

Good personal pizza for lunch, made to order. 4 different lunch specials. Walk up to the counter and order. Crispy crust and pepperoni.

We were in town for an event and ordered Paisano's for dinner. The traditional NY style pizza was delicious and my favorite of what we ordered. The fat boy square pizza was just ok, not bad, but not memorable. The NY chopped salad was also good, but not great. There was something off about the onions, however it was not inedible. Would definitely return for the NY pizza.

The folks and the food are always awesome and something we look forward to as a family each week!

The food was so delicious! We ordered a large hand tossed pepperoni pizza (picky 8 yr old) and wings with sweet baby rays with Nashville hot sauce and a side salad. Everything in the salad was fresh and so tasty! We highly recommend and can't wait to go back to try more on the menu. The service was also great. The waitress recommended hand tossed and I'm so glad we went with her decision. The ambiance was perfect for a family & very clean.

Fast delivery! Good pizza! I would order again if in the area. The pizza tasted good, and the crust was just right.

I ordered a pizza sub, totally disappointed $13.00? I asked for no sauce on my sub(simple request). I couldn't see the sausage or pepperoni. Terrible sub....

spent a hundred dollars on pizza had one mistake with one pizza not being the gluten free crust tried to call back because they were closed by the time we saw the issue.. called not asking for money but wanted a replacement pizza showed pictures of pizza and receipt and the manager gave me hell because I didn't call fast enough for her liking I guess, anyway never going back

This place is SO good. My new favorite pizza spot in Charleston. Fresh salads, great wings, & the square pizza is fantastic!

Simple good pizza. We go between the "Fat Boy" and the normal crust. The have Salads, Sandwiches, Wings (we love the hot garlic and lemon pepper). There a few beers on tap, and some very limited bottled wine. They stay busy on weekends especially, or game nights. We have been coming here since we moved to James Island 12 years ago, and they will treat you like family once they get to know you. Delivery and pickup available. Piece of advice: look for the daily specials.

I ordered a pizza online. was supposed to be an hour. I hadn't received my pizza so I called the restaurant. they said oh we canceled your order because your phone # wasn't on the order. I don't know about you, but you can't skip a step when ordering food online. They send they could re do my order and it would be 45 mins. She was pretty rude and no apology. The pizza was not good. Hardly any choose and too much sauce. I habit had pizza there in awhile, now I know what.

The pizza is always consistently good! We have ordered here a couple of times. The pizza is good quality for the price. We did take a chance on the nachos this time around and they looked so sad.

Generally do delivery from here. Solid pizza, subs, and garlic knots. Generally fast and friendly. My go-to on James Island for delivery pizza.

Went to Paisanos today for lunch. Got the Philly cheesesteak and fries. The sandwich was excellent and the bread was very tasty. The fries were also very good. This is a very good spot for lunch or dinner. It has a small arcade attached to it if you should desire to play a few games while you wait.

I always tell my friends that they can only tell if I like the pizza if I ate the bone. This is surely one of the pizza where I ate the bone. It is fresh out of the oven. I love how it is not salty or overly oily. The toppings are perfect amount and spread out. Will surely be back! I'll edit this review once I tried their wings.

Called in a order to pick up, was told it would be ready in 30-35 minutes. Drove all the way there and they said they had no order from me, even after I showed them the number I dialed on my caller ID. No offer to remedy the situation either. They have good pizza. Apparently management, not so much.

I love this Pizza place! I usually get the fat boy pizza special on Wednesday for $13 it's a great deal and would comfortably feed four people. The pizza is delicious and the staff has always been friendly to me! I've always done takeout but the inside has plenty of room to sit and there's a cute outdoor patio too. It seems very family friendly

I'm normally not very impressed by pizza places, especially for takeout. Fat boy with pepperoni and pineapple! It was absolutely delicious. Perfect crunchy crust and cooked to perfection. Careful, it's HOT! Also, ordered an Italian stallion just in case the pizza wasn't enough (more than enough for two) and it was delicious as well with fresh ingredients!

Just tried to order a medium 3 topping pizza with a $10 tip. Total was close to $50. Immediately canceled order. Way to expensive.

We love Paisano's! Always have, from way back when I used to order pizza at 2am up to now when I like to eat fried avocado and salad at 9pm and go straight to bed :) seriously though, fried avocado is a newer menu item and it is DELICIOUS. Best appetizer on the menu. They're slightly spicy so my son won't eat them (why are kids so picky) but that means more for me... They also have a good cheesy bread appetizer which is more like a huge pizza size cheese pizza just without marinara sauce. It's a pretty good deal, I think $8. Their salads are also very good, large and shareable and have lots of veggies included. I highly recommend this place for some takeout or a family pizza night. Good food, pretty good prices. They also have an arcade area inside of that's of interest to you.

I used to come here with family all the time when I was in town and remember loving this place. Well I decided to introduce my boyfriend to it after a couple of years of not ordering and we had a horrible experience. The lady who took our order was very short with us and charged us for two cups despite us only asking for one. We ordered a large one topping pizza, two side salads, and the two drinks and it cost us $42 before tip. INSANE!! Well we hoped if the pizza was that expensive it would at least be good, but it was very subpar. The sauce tasted like it came straight from a Prego jar and the crust had no flavor. Very disappointed.

The owner had some business to do in my office. He came back at lunchtime and brought 4 large pizzas to thank us for our helping him. Did i mention the pizza was delicious? The pizza was delicious!! He brought a cheese, pepperoni, meaty and italian. Yum!

This little pizza place was very delicious and quick. I ordered pizza Togo for me and my family and the pizza was a great price and the staff was very nice and got me my order and side sauces to go. Definitely recommend this pizza. They had other items that I would have loved to try but didn't have time while on vacation. Will definitely go back to try the wings.

The BEST pizza on James Island for sure! This place does it right. Really affordable and can feed a lot of people. Every time I order, my food comes out perfectly. Placing a pickup order is simple and quick. I always go for a classic cheese pizza - the seasoning they use is fantastic!

What an amazing spot. Unfortunately, found it on my sons last night in Charleston. We were down there to help him move. We got pizza and boneless wings to go. I don't normally do boneless wings but my son (who has eaten there many times) swore but them and... Thursday is 50 cent boneless wings. The young lady that took our order over the phone could not have been more friendly. Just awesome. My son had the same experience when he went in to pick up the food too. We gave them a nice tip. Pizza - we got 2 1 - we got a large margherita pizza. Simply delicious. Very well presented. Wish I took a pic. Ample cheese sauce and toppings. 2 - 'Fat Boy' with sausage and jalapeños. This was the star of the show. If we ever get back, we will only order the fat boy style. Deep dish, lots of sauce and cheese and just oh so good. Not sure if their sausage is house made - sure tasted like it. Wings - we got 3 flavors of 10 each 1 - Atomic - We like things very spicy. Calling these 'atomic' is just not fair to the word. We all agreed that a better word is medium. I think they should truly kick these up a few notches and truly make them atomic. 2 - Crajun - a dry rub mixture of Cajun and ranch. Very flavorful. Excellent. 3 - Cajun - a dry rub as well. This was our favorite. Quite flavorful indeed. All wings were cooked well and still juicy. We got blue cheese with all 3 batches of wings. Again, appeared to be house made. Very good. They give plenty of napkins, and packets or Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes if you ask. Highly recommend.

Can't go wrong with Paisano's! I got a cheese pizza and honey mustard wings both were delicious! Their pizza is one of my favorite pizzas out here!

Best delivery I've had in along time. And we use Uber eats at the office all the time. Gyros are awesome, Taziki sauce is better than Athens was. Fries were great and still crispy even in the storm and their wings are always great. Best blue cheese maybe best in Charleston

Love paissanos! We get take out or pick up here all the time. It is very consistent. The lunch specials are fantastic and so are the daily specials. Some of our favorites are the Tuesday calzones and the Wednesday Fat Boy. Always have plenty of leftovers!

Just a great family style, non-chain pizza place with great pizza! Sandwiches, subs, salads, wings.......all great. Arcade games, very family/kid friendly, noisy when they are busy, fair priced, great food. It still exists!!!!!

This is a tiny little restaurant and a local favorite in the heart of James Island, SC. Why it is great is also why it is not five stars. So strange, but let me explain. During the week, the specials are incredible. Tuesday is my personal favorite with a two meat, two vegetable Calzone for $6.00. Pretty insane. If you want a deep dish pizza, garlic bread knots, a Calzone and/or a pitcher of beer, this is the hang out. There is even a few small televisions. If you want the big game, don't come here. They don't have a 60" or anything close to that. Here is the one downside, they do MONSTER delivery and take out. With the restaurant having booths and tables and a small outdoor area in one long corridor, it makes it an airport runway for in an out traffic. That isn't every night or every minute of the day, but you should expect, if you eat in, to see a lot of pick up patrons. For the food, you can't beat it.

Paisano's is my go-to pizza place and the best pizza on JI. The specialty pizzas are all consistently great and their topping are always fresh. Their calzones are also delicious and oozing with cheese (don't expect to feel ok after eating one of these bad boys). I like getting their weekday specials, which make the prices very reasonable. Monday is supersize, Tuesday is $6 calzones and Wednesday is $11 Fatboy Pizza! Their appetizers are just ok, but I highly recommend the pizza.

Found this pizza place with Yelp's help - really good pizza, cold beer - just what the doctor ordered after a long day moving. Staff is friendly and fast - pizza was fantastic, salad was fresh and equally as tasty - found my new pizza place on James Island!!

You walk in and it smells like a good New York pizza joint. The pies are a little on the small side but the crust is thicker than what you'd expect on a New York slice. The cheese is hardy and plentiful. The tomato sauce is flavorful and dynamic, a good balance of spices. The edge of the pizza is perfectly crispy tho not entirely flavorful. There's not enough pizza real estate to fold a slice in half and let the grease drip out but at a sit down style joint this isn't a necessity. A clean restaurant with an A rating. Classic Rock playing on the radio, think ZZ Top and the Eagles. A couple arcade games to play while you're waiting for your pizza to cook. This place is maybe not a must go to location but if you're looking for a good pizza on James Island, look no further. Note, they only sell pies, not by the slice.

As a dude from Jersey, this place let us down for pizza, but saved itself in sides. Mozzarella sticks are the best here, along with the bacon provolone french fries. You cannot go wrong ordering these! Pizza is... okay. My girl likes the fat boy (deep dish) pizza, ..but it's not anything to write home about. At least the ingredients are fresh here, and you can tell. The James Island location is open until 3 AM on the weekends, and they have a bar! I appreciate the late hours (and there are usually other people picking up at this time too).

Looking at the pictures of the food I was excited to go and have a great pizza. Unfortunately the pictures were better that the pizza.

Probably would have been better if they would have delivered at the time requested. We ended up having to keep it warm in the oven for over 45 minutes and the pizza dough had dried out.

I'm editing my order to 5 stars from 1. I've been frustrated trying to reach them to order because they've got excellent food and their phone is always busy. A quality problem I suppose. They've reach out to me with ways to get through and I really appreciate the effort. Thank you. I've tried to order pizza from them for the last few weeks and their number is ALWAYS busy. You guys need to step up your game or you'll lose to the competition. I'm going some where else. As usual.

We got takeout on the 4th of July when everything else was a 3-4 hour wait. Food was ready on time in 40 minutes. Very friendly service and pizza was very good.

Paisano's Pizza Grill on Camp Road in James Island is one of my favorite places for pizza in the Charleston area. Their pizzas are very delicious, tasty, and flavorful and really stand out among all of the other different pizza offerings. I like to go in to the restaurant and have the fresh and hot pizza that comes right out of the oven. Paisano's is very fast and efficient in their ordering and service process as it seems like they start making your pizza right away after you order it and before you know it it is ready. The staff here is very friendly and cool and makes you feel welcome as soon as you enter and it stays like that until you leave. I like all of the different daily specials they have here and I enjoy everything on the menu. Paisano's Pizza Grill is awesome.

This place is a small hole-in-the-wall joint that gets an amazing review from me. You order at the bar, pay, and take your seat. There are games for the kiddos to play and also a small tv (with a remote) at some of the tables. The food took a few minutes to get to us and the waitress was kind enough to offer us $5 off our next meal for our wait. Our son loved the garlic bread and ate all of them. The salad (which I thought was individual) was a family size and very good. The pizza was super yummy (both hot and cold). We will be revisiting this place when we get that way again.

We had just gotten to our hotel and wanted to order Pizza. We read reviews for local places and decided upon Paisanos. I got a pepperoni and cheese and husband got the margherita pizza. It was just OK. Margh pizza was very "floppy" and husband didn't care for his. I know people Pizza tastes are so different so you might really enjoy and it wasn't horrible but not memorable and we would not order again.

Cannot recommend Paisano's enough! We lived on James Island for 3 years and ordered from here at least once a month, and everything was always delicious. My favorite menu items are the chicken parm pizza and Italian hot sub. My husband loves the chicken parm sub and hot wings. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I've eaten here(james island- camp rd) dozens of times and it will eventually be hundreds. This place never disappoints and they're specialty pizzas are ridiculously good. Dino bbq or wiggly piggly are my go-to's. I only wish the West Ashley location was up to the same quality of food and service as this one because it's closer :/
