Paisans Pizzeria - Oak Lawn

We came in with a group of 8 people to celebrate a coworker's promotion. The staff would not seat us until 50% of our party was present. We tried to sit at the bar and get comfortable drinking, but it was almost impossible. We could have been drinking at our table and we would have tipped obviously. When we had 50% of the party present, we had to wait another 7 minutes for the tables to be pushed together. We were all waiting by the bar wondering why the tables weren't already ready since we had a reservation in for 4pm. The whole restaurant was empty at this point. There were only a couple occupied tables. We finally had our table at 4:20pm and when we ordered, the order was incorrect. The waitress put in another pizza to correct the issue, but it leaves a bad feeling. The food was amazing, but unfortunately all the rules made me disappointed in the experience. I would recommend not having work parties at this location since having people arriving at different times is a problem.

The food is delightful! To put it nicely, the service is subpar at best. It took over an hour for us to receive our appetizers, and the restaurant was nearly empty. Our actual server was extremely friendly and attentive, but the food runner was nowhere to be found. When he finally surfaced, he appeared to be "higher than a kite" and hardly said a word when bringing our various dishes to the table. Despite this, we greatly enjoyed our late lunch and will return soon. Paisans is a definite must-try!

The service was great everyone was friendly with just enough attentiveness. The food was just ok to me we ordered the loaded fries and a 14” supreme pizza. They do offer a variety of special and they also have slots for your enjoyment.

It is always a very pleasant experience ever time we visit. The food and drinks are always on point. The pizza is hot and smoking fresh out the oven. The drinks are drinking 😂😂. We love it here and you can tell everyone likes working here. No attitudes........The managers are very much present and will come talk to you to make sure everything is good.

This place is incredible. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food. A wonderful place to share with family or friends. The vintage cars are a gem, and the biplane adds a perfect touch. I definitely recommend it and would go back.

Food was great, service was good, they were playing some good old hits but the music was little too loud we were unable to talk at our table without raising our voices. No pictures of the food we were very hungry 😁🍕🍔🍺🥤

My family and I goes to Paisans for the great food. This particular night we went to celebrate my son's 24th birthday he loves Paisans wings. Our server was Jessica C and she was incredible!!! The restaurant was packed and she was was so consistent! She kept checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Jessica C had a great positive attitude and was so friendly she made our night even better! Great food and customer service is always a PLUS!

My first visit here…did know they had multiple locations. The food was great, the pizza slices were huge. The wings were flavorful and cooked just right. We stopped here before heading to the airport and I will probably stop on the return trip. Another great restaurant for Oak Lawn!

I stopped in to treat myself to a little pizza. I wanted to have a slice or two of veggie pizza and add chicken. For whatever reason that wasn't allowed but you could do it on a whole pizza. Idk i just think the waiter didn't want to put the extra work in to find out. The cost is a little pricey compared to other pizza parlors. I spent $50 for a medium 12 in pizza and a side salad. Now to the pizza. It was pretty good and very cheesy, straight out the oven. I didn't like how thick the cheese was once it began to get cold. Salad was good and fresh. The atmosphere was upbeat with a retro style decor. They have a show room of cars with a super nice old school impala. I would totally eat here again. I only wish they had options for smaller portions like a small pizza.

Paisans has a great menu with something for everyone. I've had their wings, pizza, rice bowl, cheese bread, nachos and burgers. Here's the thing, the food isn't fabulous but it's good and consistent. The chocolate lava cake is fabulous though! This a great place to take a large group because there is plenty of space, friendly staff and the large menu. There are TV's everywhere so I like to go when a game I want to watch is on. Orders usually take over 25 minutes to get to your table so grab a drink while you wait.

Food and service is bomb! Make sure to see Jeff, James and CJ at the bar. Love the huge menu. Everything we've tried have been amazing! Pete the owner makes you feel like family. There's nothing like that. Make sure to try a dessert

Good food and great service. Shout out to our waitress, Aaliyah. At the end of service, she gave us 3 different to go boxes based on our food... amazing!!! Would definitely come back with the family.

A friend recommended this spot, raving about their wide variety of food, so I was excited to try it. However, as a pescatarian, I was disappointed to find there weren't many options for me. I'm always open to trying new things, so I ordered the dragon fries, which our waiter assured me weren't spicy--but they were terribly spicy. My father ordered the baby back ribs, and while he enjoyed the flavor, the portion size was underwhelming. On a positive note, the decor was very unique and impressive, especially with the vehicles displayed inside the building--it definitely added to the atmosphere. It would be great if they expanded their menu to include options like an Impossible burger or vegan cheese to accommodate more dietary preferences. While our waiter was nice, he seemed a bit nervous throughout the experience. Unfortunately, due to the limited options for me, I don't think I'll be returning.

This piece of restaurant is overrated. There's a huge parking lot so plenty of parking. They do have a reservation option or a cute. You can walk up depending on availability and be seated. There are plenty of high bar tables, low bar tables and a huge bar with lots of televisions for sports feeling. The pizza and the sides were am my opinion just OK and comparison to most famous Chicago pizza restaurants. If you've never tried it, try it. I have a huge list of appetizers for you to select Ron. The chicken wings were good and they offer you many options for sauce on the wings.

Dear Paisans, I really wanted to like you! Had such high hopes... sadly we were all very disappointed. First, where do you get off with these prices? Who do you think you are, Disney??? $18 for an appetizer of a handful of buffalo shrimp? And maybe when asking for a side of Ranch, your staff could mention that you charge $1.20 for a small cup of ranch!! WOW! Welcome to 2025 where Paisans price gauge the customers they DO get. The 'better' things were the $25 pizza and the $16 breadsticks with cheese appetizer. That was it as far as flavor. The wings were the saddest dried, fried, oil taste. Fried pickles, meh. 1/2 bbq ranch salad, decent. 1/2 slab ribs, meh. Kids corn dog, unedible. My son wouldn't go near it. Chicken parm sandwich, meh. We even had to stand up and find our server to finally pay this outrageous tab. Won't be back. Yikes yikes yikes. Paying customer beware.

They have a special for wings on Tuesday that I usually get. Their wings are phenomenal, I love the Paisan salad and their appetizers. I would highly recommend. The workers are very friendly and attentive. Great place to eat at.

Paisans has great pizza, delicious wings, wonderful atmosphere and outstanding service, I either dine in or pick up from here at least once a week.

The restaurant looks great! Great decor. If you like thin crust ask for it extra thin and crispy. They were both good pizzas but the thin was a lot better. The sauce was sooooo good, I wanted to just dip garlic bread into the sauce! My daughter got the penny pasta vodka, and that was very good, and the minestrone soup was really really good. I also like that they're open until 10 PM during the week and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays even Sundays at 10 PM. Was it the best crust pizza I've ever had? No but I would definitely go back.

The online ordering portal has several glitches, but calling to order worked out fine. The only issue is that the order-taker couldn't apply the discount code that was emailed to me (that wasn't an option online either), she said that the cashier would do it at pickup-that was fine. I do think their pizza and appetizers are pricey, but it's the only decent pizza in our immediate area. It's was only 30 minutes for pickup!

Our server seemed rushed, but the hostess was nice enough to change our table. The spicy garlic Parmesan wings were really good. There was nothing southwest about the southwest eggrolls, there was a lot of celery, maybe it was just the batch we had. The veggie pizza was mid. Cool atmosphere overall. I'd go back to try a different pizza.

First time to a Paisans Pizza for me. Saturday night, it was packed! We were a group of six. We put in an order for a thin crust, and then added a supercharged. The menu and server told us that the supercharged takes some time to cook. We slammed the thin crust and then the supercharged arrived. Supercharged pizza was delicious!! Be patient for your order. I also has a strawberry margarita that was tasty. It had pieces of strawberries in it. Pizza prices are reasonable. Drink prices are a little high.

It's always a treat to experience Chicago-style pizza. My wife and I came here with several friends. The restaurant is actually large. There's definitely plenty of seating. They do pack a lot of seating so be warned you may be back to back (literally) with the table behind you. We ordered 2 14-inch pizzas. One was a thin crust, and the other was deep dish style. There was 6 of us, so there's 2 pizzas gave each person 3-4 slices. I recommend a larger pizza if you're super hungry. Without drinks, the pizzas were ~$50. The pizzas do take 40-45 minutes to cook, so be prepared to wait. Maybe a grab a drink?

Visited today for 1st time for drinks and appetizers. it was packed in there but we were seated immediately. We decided on the peach weed jar drink, it arrived in a mason jar and was delish. We also had the dragon fries that had nacho cheese a sweet and spicy sauce and scallions. We also had the southwestern eggrolls that were tasty. Our server was quick and attentive. Overall great experience.

Amazing food & staff...Manny R was our server & he was wonderful..we ordered the new SUPERCHARGED pizza...the best! Josh the manager explained how the new pizza was made & was awesome! This restaurant is a show place & consistent with the amazing Paisan's culture...FIVE STARS

Julius was amazing! Best waiter I've ever had. Cool to get some restaurant history as well as food suggestions. Super attentive & friendly. Took time to take photos for us! I will definitely be back & we will certainly request him as a waiter! Loaded fries were spectacular, dragon wings were sweet & spicy. The sweet sauce on the pizza made it perfect. The chocolate chip cookie dessert was a perfect ending. 100% recommend!

The space is huge wide open and loud. A giant airplane suspended from the ceiling and classic cars inside, very nice. Our started off on the wrong foot. I ordered iced tea, but they said they only have sweet tea. I settled for water . My wife wanted hot tea, but they told her they don't sell any hot beverages. She settled for water. The service is awesome. They have a lot of employees and they were spot on for our entire meal. My wife ordered a Chicken Parm sandwich. It was very tasty. A thick chicken breast served with melted cheese on a focaccia bun. It was dry, however. I was going to ask for a side of marinara, that would've made it perfect. I ordered the Cobb Wrap. It's big and it was pretty good. She got a soup side, which was OK and the fries I ordered were OK as well. We ordered a small sausage & mushroom extra thin pizza. Their version of extra thin is thicker than most. They have a sweet sauce like Palermo's or Grassano's, which I do not prefer, but my wife liked it. I wanted to try this pizza and we did. I wouldn't recommend Paisans but that's just us. We won't go back. Our bill came to $62. Food and alcohol are not cheap.

Love their service. I order online and my pizza arrived on time. The driver was polite and friendly. Love paisans pizza. I'm glad we have a location in oak lawn!

I like the layout of the place. There's enough tvs around the bar area to watch. My waiter was nice, no complaints about service at all. I do recommend the spicy garlic wings. I had ground beef on half my pizza and I was disappointmented in the flavor because the beef had no salt or pepper on it. The cook literally just put ground beef on the pizza with no seasoning. Also, there was just 1 "meatball" on each slice. I lifted the cheese on the side with the beef and there was just a small piece of meat on each slice. Definitely not enough meat on the pizza. My daughter has the blackened salmon. She didn't like it but I don't know who orders salmon from a pizza restaurant.

The food overall is very mediocre and everything tastes bland. So pizza to start is way too doughy, cheese taste was off and the sauce is way too sweet. Appetizers also are very expensive. I would not mind paying these prices if the food reflected the charge. Save yourself time and get Italian food at an Italian restaurant and pizza from the pizza places that care about pizza and not over pricing their guests.

Excellent buffalo wings. I've ordered them several times and they are consistently good. The whole ngs are meaty and the mild flavor has just enough spice bit not too much. The service is usually good. One waitress remembers me and provides the best service. The others have been hit or miss. One of the hostresses seems intent on always seating me in the bar at a high top because I'm by myself. She's finally learned after multiple nos. But not that friendly. The other hostesses are fine. The manager need to advise the hostesses to ask customers for their seating choice rather than sending people to the bar. This happens when its not busy.

Came here twice first time I came for my brother birthday we got cheese and sausage pizza with wings everything was good! Server was very nice didn't take long to be seated or to get our food. When my dad paid the bill the owner was so generous and gave everyone cookies they were the best! Second time I came I tried the dragon wings was very good will be back!

This is a newer local spot in my area. I love the decor! Is coupled with the music, It has an eighties vibe that I love! The menu is vast and has a lot to choose from. We are we're pretty satisfied with our meals, we were a party of 5. We didn't like the fried pickles. They were cut way too thick and they didn't have a strong pickle flavor. The sauce they served on the side was not good. We sent the Dragon fries back because we were told that they weren't very spicy, but we found them extremely spicy! Is too spicy to enjoy. My dad loves ribs and really enjoy the baby back rib, although he said he had never seen a slab of ribs so small. My niece have a lasagna and liked it alot. My sister had a salad and was satisfied with it. My mom had the nachos , which were huge! It could have fed our entire table. The chips and salsa alone were amazing! I have the Southwest Egg rolls, which I always choose anytime.I see them on a menu at any restaurant. They weren't crispy, but they were good. I didn't love the cooked caabbage inside, but it was still a good dish. The chipotle sauce on the side was really good! Three of us ordered drinks...the Weed Jar, Would you just taste it like an iced tea, but packed a punch! My dad had a grilled psnapple drink that was good, And my mother had a peach margarita. All of the drinks were good! I will come here again and try something different on the menu since there are so many options.

Pizza was great! Service was great! Chrissy was fantastic server. It was busy but all workers were working. Definitely coming back.

Service was great. Pizza was absolutely awful! Sugar sauce. I won't be back and don't recommend. They charge $1.50 for soda water too LOL!

This was my first time visiting and dining at the Oak Lawn location. We ordered the supercharger pizza, which was delicious, and a 12-piece bone-in wing. The chicken wings were fried perfectly, but they lacked seasoning and flavor. We ordered half lemon pepper and half garlic parmesan, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed! Please fix this issue asap!

We went for a birthday celebration, although the waitress was amazing. My $68.00 worth of food was very disappointing. The one downtown which is now closed we all felt the south loop just tasted better. Nonetheless this is my second stop in on 111 and I will never visit again.

We came in there and our server Aaliyah forgot about us. We were just sitting there order drinks never got the drinks when we saw people that came way after us were already eating their food and finishing up. We called her to our table so she could at least bring the drinks she said, excuse me what were the drinks after we already ordered them. We had a pizza which was excellent. We definitely come back for the pizza because the food is really good but the service we received was very poor will not be coming back as the server was very confused. Forgot about us didn't give us the drinks and at the end could not process our payment the correct way.

We took the kids here ordered a large pepperoni and a large veggie pizza (they had a really good pizza special that day.) If I had to compare to any other pizza I'd say it's most like Rosati's as far as construction and taste. It's good pizza! We also got the loaded fries, dragon sauce is probably too spicy for kids so we had it on the side. We were stuff and still had 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 veg pizza to take home. I love that our waiter told us about the pizza special (we were unaware) I will go back and bring the kids they loved all the cool decor. It would be a fun place for a party too.

First time giving this location (Oaklawn) a visit and I will say there is nothing like having the best experience right the first time. A great experience will always bring a customer right back, no doubt. My experience started with our waiter Jeffrey, lets just say he carries a positive and easy going vibe all around that assures you are in good hands. Knowing how to balance professionalism, pressure, and a smile at all times, is not easy. He wasnt only attentive to us we seen it with all the others he was serving. Thanks Jeffrey!!! What an experience. Greeted by two hostesses upon entering the business and a gentleman that we later found out to be the owner Steve . My first time there he greeted us as if we were "regulars". You truly understand the meaning of appreciating your customers and it's no wonder that he has nine successful locations. Soon after we received it, we met our server GABI a wonderful and friendly personality. Soon after Steve came up to our table and spoke with us his story how he got started, good and bad along the way, but stayed the course. He was more than gracious with his time and generosity... it's obvious why he is successful! He's got customer service figured out. We will be back-

Second time here. Now I remember why I didn't care for the atmosphere. It's way too noisy! Couldn't hear the person two seats away. Otherwise the pizza is good, nice crust, sauce and toppings. Good service also. We attempted to order unsweetened ice tea or root beer but they don't carry them. Good meal though. Thanks.

This was our first and probably last visit! First, we ordered a drink--a Pina Colada--that was not good and cost $13. It was missing a lot, as it didn't taste like a Pina Colada. We were asked if we wanted more rum, and we said yes, then we were told that it would be another $6.50 - EACH! Really? You make a bad drink, and we were told that we'd have to pay extra for Paisan's bartender to correct our drinks. Second, we ordered food. I ordered a chicken dish, which I decided was "very good." My husband ordered a full slab, which - he told the server - had very little barbecue sauce, and the server asked if he wanted more. He said yes, and a small container was brought to him, and we were charged for the container of two tablespoons of barbecue sauce. Really?! Also, the french fries weren't tasty, and the ketchup container was unsanitary. My husband asked for another ketchup, and when it was brought to the table, it appeared to be the same container that had been run underwater to be rinsed clean! When opening the ketchup container, there was clean water inside the cap! Unbelievable! Third, the desserts were okay, but the vanilla ice- cream was not very tasty or sweet. This surprised me as what can you do with vanilla ice cream to alter the taste? Finally, we will never return, as my husband believes Paisans seem more interested in nickel and diming their customers than giving them good food and good service. To charge for additional alcohol to put in a poorly made drink is an affront to the drink itself. Charging for additional barbecue sauce to make the poorly seasoned ribs edible is pathetic, the rinsing off of the unsanitary-looking ketchup bottle was grossly inexcusable, and the terrible vanilla ice cream was unconscionable! Never before - says my husband- has he eaten at a restaurant where the entire meal, from the cocktail drinks to the desserts, was unenjoyable. So, we blame the owners of Paisans, the cooks, and the servers for a most unfortunate and tastelessly unenjoyable afternoon. It seems conspirical, as that's how we feel about a total poorly made meal being served from the walk-in to the walkout. And it's chilling. They need to do better! The extra charges are unacceptable! We suggest that you stay away, and if you do go with family and friends, be sure to ask about the continuous upcharges to try and have a decent meal. So, it wasn't good, folks. Our bill was over $100. And, our disappointment was at 100%.

Stopped in to meet my daughters and granddaughter. Had some boneless wings that were very good. Couple of drinks, some dessert and had amazing service from Samantha. Really cool place with old cars an airplane and Old Camper. Amazing decor. I would recommend for sure

Ayyye Paisan! What a cool blend of atmosphere with great food. Uncle in Merrionette Park has a health scare, you come out to visit from Colorado and you both find this?!? Awesome design, friendly staff and delicious Parisian Pizza with a lil-bit-sweeter sauce, gooey cheeze and a nice doughy crispy crust. Eating at the bar under an Airplane with 1970's/80's enduro bikes on the wall along with 8 or so classic/muscle:collectible cars and a few slammed delivery wagons/trucks for good measure?!? Who do these guys think they are? A well run pizza place with a full menu of wings, salads and drinks up the yang! GUDLERD-glad we found it. Thanks for the history too Big, Tall and Friendly GM Mike (?)! Apparently this isn't a secret, there are MANY locations but each location has its own flava! Go see them all you lucky Chicagoans! Let's bring this to CO-you know where to find me.

The service was excellent!!! Sara was our server and she was very efficient and friendly. She anticipated our needs and made sure we were well taken care of for our order. The pizza and Julie salad wrap were delicious!!!! We loved it ALLL - great experience

The restaurant is beautiful and full of energy. Wonderful for families and groups of friends. It gets very busy but the wait for pizza is not too long. The pizza itself was average. If you like sweet sauce and lots of dough on your pizza then this will be a hit for you. Not bad but not my preference.

This restaurant was amazing. Service was great, food was awesome. The decor was interesting. Went for lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant wasn't crowded. We ordered a cheese pizza which was great and I had a Buffalo chicken salad which was tasty. Husband said the burger was one of the best he's had, and he's 71, and has had a lot of restaurants burgers!!!

I love Paisans pizza the service is amazing and the food is amazing and don't listen to these cry babies that try to promote other businesses in the area

Came here for a quick bite on the weekend and I must say the ambiance was mesmerizing! From motorcycles to antique hot rods, to a propeller airplane, the atmosphere is quite the scene! The restaurant has a large bar, table seating, as well as extended booths! Our server was friendly and helpful with our order. For appetizers, we chose the nachos and wings, and for the main course, we chose a thin crust pizza with diced tomatoes! Everything was hot and delicious! On the way out, we ordered Oreo shakes to go, which were delicious! The only negative worth mentioning is that the music was unnecessarily loud. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would recommend as a fun family experience.

you guys nailed it again!!! Best pizza ever!!!! I drove from Cedar Lake Indiana to Oaklawn. when I lived in Crestwood, il I would to go Brookfield location. I was surprised to see an Oaklawn location. Saved some in gas haha. But anyways thank you again!!! best ever.

I keep coming back every Tuesday for the dragon wings. It taste so good it's a mixture of sweet chili sauce. They cook them perfect everytime. I love the antique cars inside it's also clean inside. The service is fantastic haven't had a problem yet.

Food ok nothing to be yummy and the servicing was sub par. Waited for drinks and appetizers took more than hour. Bar staff was worried about tables with food already more than getting orders from waiting customers. My daughter asked for a refill and didn't get it til she was done with her meal. Overall for a family style restaurant felt like second class restaurant when you order at a window. Would not be coming back and would tell others not to go here for any events or family events. All the open tables and grouping people right up on each other when there's even rush in people. honestly piss pour franchise from the other restaurants.Also charge for hot sauce, waiter was training a trainee and said he was going to box our pizza and never did.

Great night celebrating Veterans Day Monday. Husband is 82nd Airborne Veteran. We stopped by for a quick bite. Service was quick. Pizza was delicious. Best of all the ambiance! Husband enjoyed seeing the classic cars, dirt bikes and especially the airplane in the restaurant!

Over priced for what you get Sauce was bland. Was not very impressed. Should spent more on the ingredients over the over the top atmosphere
