On the Grid : PAK

"The undisputed king of Finsbury Park has to be PAK. Dominating Stroud Green Road with a small army of shops specialising in wigs, extensions, hair and beauty products, with all that synthetic weave if there was a great fire of Finsbury Park PAK would go up in flames the quickest. Never fear, they sell real hair too. Phew. Try PAK Cosmetics, it’s like a treasure chest of bath, beauty and hair products - on our last trip we bought peach hair dye, a snail serum face mask and a mud mask for your ears." - The Barefaced Movement

Brilliant shop. I’ve come this shop last for years. The staffs are always kind and products are well organised properly. Which make me easy to find what I am looking for. They’ve kept EBIN’s one since last year which is trending now. Go get it.

Sells some really nice toiletries some bit expensive but can find some hidden gems if you take the time to look properly. Good range of products here . There are quite a few stores in east London . Paks a punch thumbs up.

Great place for all your skin, hair, and body needs. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Update following reply from owner. You DO NOT "assist" someone by staying at the other end of an aisle and following them back and forth to every aisle. It's simply insulting that this clown should pretend anyone was trying to help when he MUST KNOW they watch their customers like thieves! I wish I could give negative stars. I'll never shop with this company again. Security guard appeared at the end of every aisle I visited. When I confronted him, he claimed - ludicrously - he was seeing if I might need help, proving even he knew he was doing wrong. Reports of this kind of behaviour are rife. There are black-run shops in places like Dalston and West Green Rd that I now use instead. AVOID this place at all costs.

Love this place. So much to choose from. Although I feel like there are too much shops. The one thing I found weird was being followed around the store

Good selection of products, however I absolutely hate being followed and watched the whole time I'm in the store. Sometimes it takes me time to read the ingredients of the products, and it makes me feel so uncomfortable that someone is 2 feet from me waiting to catch me stealing. For the people in the reviews saying that they're being followed because of racism - don't worry, I'm white and they do it with me as well 😂

Wide variety of hair products and were able to buy stuff I've not been able to find in any other physical store. The staff were less than friendly and as a middle class white person I can't comment on any of the issues that others have highlighted, but the store layout is a little unfriendly. But if you want to find a product in a physical store, this is likely the place to go.

Much the same as most hair shops I've visited. I was hoping they had a wider range of The Maine Choice as they do online, but this wasn't the case. The staff suggested I go to Dalston. I got some other items. Staff were okay and talking amongst themselves. It's more spacious than some of the other hair and beauty shops I visit regularly, so I'd recommend if having a baby in a buggy restricts you from browsing as you'd like.
