Halal Food is so good. that it's good. As per price it's so filling and tasty that it's kind of worth it. It just makes you think... "whatever, I'm getting buffalo wings Which so good with green sauce and hot sauce. Employe and owner from Afghanistan, they are so friendly.

They offer Halal Food with reasonable price and great service. They do not charge extra money for dining in. Owner is really gentle man 👍

Quick place to pick up some comfort food in the area. It honestly won't be the greatest fried chicken you'll have, but it will be enough to satisfy if you're craving it. Prices are decent and they have combo deals. The workers are really friendly. One time I got shorted a biscuit with my order and when I told them, they gave me two extra ones!

I came here Saturday night. I was in the line. But the guy in the counter was too rude. I was asking do you have Buffalo wing, he told me you was in the line half hour, didn’t you saw it. Why you asking. I was order 33 dollars food with my wife & daughter. He talk to me so bad. No respect even though I am with my wife and daughter. When I start eating the wing . It was too salty. Not even eatable. I was asking hi it’s too salty. We can’t eat it. He was saying I don’t care. You have to pay for it. Then I said ok. I will pay for it no problem. Please give two regular chicken. It was the first time I went there. Then I told my wife I will never come here anymore. The counter guy said he is a Muslim. I wonder because a good Muslim can’t behave like this.this is the most rude behavior I have ever seen. I will recommend everyone avoid this place. Food quality is so bad. They just don’t care. This guy will ruin your beautiful day.

The Palace is an excellent place for Fried Chicken. Crispy outside, full of flavor, warm & juicy inside it's a Hit for me. FYI ask for their hot sauce so good.

No place to wash hands. After eating a 20 bucks meal i am asking the manager to let me inside to wash my hand this guy gives me more napkins and says this is better than washing hands

**Delivery Review** A fast-food fried chicken offering in Astoria that has an option for delivery on Uber Eats. Large selection of chicken meals, as well as sandwiches and burgers. Decided on the 3 Piece Chicken with Mash and a Biscuit ($9.50), Popcorn Chicken ($7.75), and a Snapple ($3). Chicken is well breaded and slightly greasy - best to pair alongside the mash and gravy. The gravy has a good flavor, and the potatoes have plenty of butter. Popcorn chicken was not good - odd batter taste and weird texture. Delivery was fine as it got in by the window. Definitely a hit or miss place; probably better in person.

I ordered their fried chicken with cole slaw. The good: - Cole slaw was great, and biscuit was better than ones I've had at other similar fried chicken places - portions and price were good The bad: - chicken was bland, underseasoned, just didn't taste as good as other similar hole in the wall restaurants. My chinese spot does chicken wings with fried rice and their chicken is juicy and delicious. Overall just mediocre. Probably would taste better after a late night if I was inebriated

This place has AMAZING fried chicken. Super crispy and loaded with spices. Definitely a more spicy, cumin, smoky taste. Better than KFC for sure, but as delicious as really good Popeyes in a different way. I got a 10 piece for $12? Also a hot wings meal with fries for $7. The place was really really clean, which was surprising. Definitely go for the great fried chicken.

The hot wings were ok but you get what you payed for. The mash potato taste like frozen food The only thing good about this place was their French fries. I would order here when I'm in mood for a cheap meal but not for quality meal.

I stopped by here twice over the course of 1.5 weeks partially because I really didn't want to walk too far. As noted by many, it is on the edge of the projects but it is also on a busy 21 Street, a major through-way in Astoria/Long Island City, so it is very safe even at night. Plus, lots of customers come in and out. If you want it fried, then this is the place. I tend to get the 3 piece chicken meal which comes with drumstick, a thigh, and meaty breast. It is crisp, and I tend to slather on their spicy sauce. Included side is normally fries, but on my second visit, I went for the onion rings, which were highly processed and well fried. I would think this would be a great restaurant to also make use of the fryer and offer some other fried items. Oh, they also have ice cream which I didn't try. Service is friendly. I can see why people come here for a fried chicken fix.

I always like the palace fried chicken store chains mainly because majority of them are halal. I love the hot wings!! This location is centered in a rather less than sophisticated part of Astoria, so sometimes the setting can feel rather unwelcoming. However, most of the time I never have any complaints about the place. Apart from hot wings, they do sell a lot of different types of desserts and it claimed to be from the 'cheesecake factory.' I have never tried it though, so I can't tell you if it tastes like the real cake store. The Prices here are decent too

I was in NYC for work, felt like I wanted something other than Pizza, etc. Made an order online for delivery. Wow, I was surprised. The order was quick and got delivered at the Hotel in 15 minutes. The food was still warm. Ordered Fried Chicken & French Fries. The Fries were perfect, not soggy. The fried chicken was tasty. Really good experience, I totally recommend, Palace FC & will order from them again.

It was a great food, I really enjoyed the food and service was excellent. The place has air conditioning and variety of sodas.

3.5, rounded down because there is not one thing on point about any of the sides I've tried. And their version of a Philly Cheesesteak is whack. However, hands down the single best fried chicken I've ever had in Astoria....and top five I've had in NYC. Stoopid cheap, though every piece always thoroughly cooked (though never dry), always moist, and with perfectly crispy skin. And that flavor!!! It's something about those Moroccan spices they add into the batter that makes me think they may also mix in some meth. Seriously. Cannot stop at two pieces. AND it's equally good the next day, be it cold or reheated. And the skin even tastes good cold (yup...gross...don't care....eatin' it!). Plus, they deliver, y'all! Give 'em a whirl!

This place has been around me basically my whole childhood. The food is good, tasty and made quickly! The chicken is seasoned so damn good! You can't go wrong with a side breast and fries! There's other options but that's one favorite of mine from here. Today I ordered a steak sandwich with large fries (the bag is big enough to share) and a side breast for my mom. Everything was about 11 dollars and 10 cents. The sandwich was good and seasoned, had sautéed onions, green peppers, and lettuce on it and the cheese melted and went perfectly with it! Got a free soda as well. Perks of being a regular customer :) give this place a go! By the way, it's great if you want to eat in. Spacious tables to sit at and has an atm for credit and atm card users who need cash.

Visiting from Montréal, where we really wanted a satisfying meal. Very friendly staff, food not only smell good but also very delicious. Will definitely stop by before I leave town.

It's funny, when I get a craving for fried chicken, it's not KFC. Popeyes I can admit to, but places like Palace Fried Chicken are great because they fry their crust so differently. It's thinner with less of a flaky shell and just as crisp. I think they pressure fry their chicken. Anyway, it's late but not that late, 10:45 I am here and ordered a late night snack and the guy was awesome, easy to order, no this and that, I didn't have the coins for the measly 17 cents and he let me go. That's great, I would have given him a dollar and he break the change but I love when people are not fussy about a few cents like this guy did, just awesome service. Great that they are open this time of night to cater to some desire for fried chicken, though I guess it is close to closing time. Thanks for some very flavorful, I can taste the herbs and spices, crispy chicken. Been coming here for years and I think it's better in the morning when it is more fresh. But then again maybe it's not the morning when it's fresh batch. Sides are average, plain and all but the chicken is good. They have other stuff on the menu but I don't go for that, just your tasty chicken please. Too bad there are no rest room and the seating is basic run of the mill but that's okay by me.

I have been to a number of trendy hipster "fried chicken and waffles" type restaurants that get hundreds of raving reviews on yelp. These trendy hipster brunch restaurants tend to cost $15-$30 per small plate of food. Well, little take out place Palace Fried Chicken on 36th ave LIC across from Ravenswood projects has better chicken than all of them combined NO question!!! The main advantage is definitely the middle eastern blend of spices and seasoning in the chicken. It is SOO good. Most of the competition out there just tastes like fried oil, it is not well seasoned like Palace is. Also, it tastes like real chicken and there's only a light layer of breading which works well. So next time you are craving fried chicken think twice about the $30 hipster waffle place and spend 6 bucks at Palace instead for better food. Definitely get the original fried chicken pieces, the boneless and sides are not as good. -1 star: I will just take a star off cause the crew moves super slow for a take out joint and also the customers sometimes take advantage of it and rudely cut in front of people.

Delicious, and cheap, although the place does look a bit sketchy This is the most delicious fried chicken (fast food) I had in a while. Well, let me take off the fast, cuz it took like 15 minutes, but it was well worth the wait. I had a fresh batch of fried chicken for my 3 piece meal, which came w/ a drink, a side of mash, a side of coleslaw, and a biscuit. Biscuit is weak, I had better from KFC.The mash is good, but did they invented a shrink ray? The portion is maybe 2x the size of Mcdonald's Sweet and Sour dipping sauce for their nuggets. That's ridiculous small, although I did like it a lot. But the chicken was really what rocked (reminder: fresh batch). I used to like KFC's extra crispy chicken, but its just way too much breading. Here, the breading is mimimal, but the chicken skin is still really crispy and also perfectly flavored. But its the meat that gets the pluses. It was really tender and juicy, and this is white meat. That's rare for a fast food place. It might have been the fresh batch, I have to go back again to verify. But for $6, you can't beat this, although I'm not a fast food person, so you won't see me reviewing this stuff too often. 2 caveats as well. The place looks kinda shady, just cuz of the area, but I think its still relatively safe. The other thing is, I brought this as take out, although it was still piping hot when I got it home (even in 20 degree weather, and a 10 min walk) , but after I was done, my place smelled like fried chicken for an hour. Had to open some windows to get rid of that smell.

I used to live down the street from this place. Whenever I was hungry and needed come decent and filling this would be the spot. The chicken here is pretty tasty and cheap. I normally get a few pieces to go and eat it at home with Rice. (I know so ASIAN....) They have a lot of things on the menu to choose from. Chicken, sandwiches, fries and even desserts. They are open late so when you get that craving... You know where to go!

I would highly recommend this place chickens super crispy and taste like pop eyes and jolibee!

PFC - they do chicken WELL! I was on this NEED for fried chicken, and after finding out that the KFC listed on yelp in the area/the KFC I remember from childhood has been closed for a long time now and has changed into a bank, I turned to Palace Fried Chicken. The chicken itself would give the place five stars - the skin is thoroughly crispy without being overly breaded, and has an ethnic spice to it that makes it more interesting than your run of the mill KFC. However, the sides are TINY, and taste BAD. Come here, get the chicken and as Daniel Tosh said in his show, go to the grocery store to pick up some sides, makes it a little classy.

THE BEST HALAL BURGER !!! OMG - This place is known for it's Fried Chicken but the burgers are just as awesome. My husband ordered a double cheese burger, the patty was juicy nicely char grilled so yummy and packed with flavor along with all the pickles and sauces. A liittle messy to eat as the patty spills out from the bun but that's what I love about tucking into a good burger, I would rather have more meat than bread, besides when is a burger supposed to be neat and tidy ? The fried chicken is great as well. They have a lot of variety on their menu, shakes, cakes, salads,, wraps, gyros, sandwiches, fried chicken, nuggets, tenders, strips,, burgers etc etc. Above all they guys that work there are really friendly,the customer service is great and the place is super clean. Simple heart warming fast food comfort at it's best. Delish ! Loved it !!

This is a solid fried chicken option in Astoria. I agree with most reviews that the spice blend is fantastic. Very flavorful and the meat was very moist. I only wish that the skin/batter were a little lighter. It was delightfully crispy, just a bit on the heavy side. It's also one of the greasier fried chickens I've had in awhile. I was also surprised by the mac and cheese here. On first glance, it doesn't look very appealing, but actually has a nice cheesy taste. The fries are also great here.

It's the BEST fried chicken I've had in all of New York. It's always hot, juicy, and delicious. The perfect amount of seasoning, and never greasy. The biscuits are sooo good! Also the rice and beans, mmm. They use basmati rice, so. You know it has to be delicious. I've never atr anything that I didn't like here :)

Everything is halal. Pretty good fried chicken. Best is the chicken tenders, but pricey for a take out joint but otherwise prices are decent. Wide variety in menu. Clean and the place is best as takeout or delivery since they only have a couple of tables and is not a sit down kinda place.

This place was surprisingly delicious! The place itself was super clean and didn't smell like grease at all!!! The menu was super elaborate and relatively cheap. My husband and myself got the 8pc meal which came with crunchy, well-seasoned and AMPLE hot fries and a drink. The chicken itself was perfectly crisp and spicy on the outside, super moist and juicy on the inside. We devoured 7 pcs between us only because it was irresistible. The spices were not like your regular KFC...they were hot and spicy. Give this a go, you won't regret it! Plus it was halal.

Every time i go here I have to at least get a spicy chicken sandwich . Although its not spicy the service is good . People are friendly and they respect who you are .

Sketch it up and try not to get stabbed. The chicken nuggets are actually really good. Breaded well and crunchy compared to the wafer thin crusts on McDonald's nuggets.

Some of the best fried chicken I've EVER had. I gave it 5 stars solely for the food. There is a long queue at times and customer service seems to be a foreign concept here, but the chicken is worth it. I venture out here all the way from the UES! I brave the projects just to taste that tender, crispy chicken (I did mention that this is located right in the middle of the projects, right?)!

think of KFC on crack. my sister was adamant on eating fried chicken and we were actually looking for KFC in the 'hood. However, the nearby KFC was CLOSED DOWN (now amalgamated bank) so we settled for PFC. oh, oh oh, thank the LORD he directed us to PFC 1) eat the chicken and nothing else. a) the sides we ate :mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were a tad bland and sometimes a bit nasty 2) the chicken is badass. a) a PFC chicken leg will kick the crap out of a KFC chicken leg. think double the size. b) the seasonings... oo oo good! a bit spicy and def. not breaded by some uninspiring white-bread concoction 3) not bad prices! a) got overly and grossly full from sides, 1 chicken leg and 1 thigh. b) 18 bucks and change for mac n cheese, 2 mashed potatoes (micro sized portion tho, but because they were nasty tasting, it didnt matter) and 12 pieces of glorious chicken. 4) decor: ugly a) may be obvious, but 'll type it out anyway. not the hottest date spot in town well now, why does it deserve 4 stars despite all of these negative qualities? go ahead and eat some of their chicken if youre in the neighborhood. you'll agree with me soon go with G*d and he will show you the way to amazing PFC chicken.

I've been coming here for years. It's the ultimate munchies spot. This Palace is much cleaner than your typical chicken place. They're normally open until 3am. Definately a grab-n-go place.

Tried their philly cheese steak. Onions, peppers and well seasoned. To me the meat was chopped a bit too small but it was very good just needed more "au jus" and cheese across the top not just on the bread. Philly cheese' from philly spoiled me...
