Very unassuming from the outside, I love the vibe on the inside. We had four different slices of pizza and the garlic rolls all incredible. Management and staff are also very friendly and they offer a huge variety of pizzas by the slice also an Italian kitchen and liquor bar.

Nice place. 1st time visiting. I will return should I be in the area again. S/O to Jordan. He cash us out and we had a cool convo regarding basketball. Keep that friendly energy my friend and I hope health and wealth flow your way for 2026.

It’s lengthy but please read and be careful. I would rather give a no star. I really hate to leave this review but I love me some Palace pizza in Bartow. I’ve never been impressed by this one in Lakeland, but I have been going there most recently and dining in. But this is the straw that broke the camels back. I will never go back here again. I asked for a half pepperoni half extra cheese. The picture does not have any extra cheese and that cheese was like a rubber band. I almost choked on it cause it wouldn’t literally break, like a rubber band and the pepperoni was all put on two slices rest of the slices the cheese just to the other I had to cut cheese with a knife! and the salad was disgusting. It taste like it has chemicals in it and it wasn’t even Romain lettuce. Where in this picture do you see Romain lettuce and a table spoon of ceasar dressing. I’m actually concerned of food poisoning.

Fun Lil Pizza Shop downtown Lakeland offers plenty of outdoor seating, though it can be noisy depending on where you sit. Ordering might be a bit confusing since you have to order your pizza from the guy behind the glass and then go to the checkout for drinks and extras. The pizza was very good—hot and satisfying. We weren’t fans of the cannolis, but that’s just our taste. There's plenty of parking, including a nearby garage. If you’re craving great pizza, this is the place to go. Cash and credit cards are accepted.

This has to be one the best slices of pizza I’ve had in central Florida!! Not pictured though is the ittiest bittsiest $9 glass of wine I’ve ever had in my life. Great atmosphere however teach your girls what wine is and teach them how to pour it, they looked shocked when I asked for a glass of wine and had to ask each other where it was. My pinky fingernail as a half is a representation of the wine I got here. The staff was attentive, very nice but very young and didn’t know much about Italian cuisine, I can understand that - but I still can’t wrap my head around red wine being odd to order with pizza? As an Argentine I may be biased, but don’t come here for tapas you’ll spend $87 on a bottle of Target wine

UPDATE: Palace Pizza made it right!! They replaced the pizza. It was nice to have a wrong made into a wonderful experience. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. I ordered my pizza through grubhub.When I received my pizza, my eggplant looked like bits of charcoal.When I called the store I was told to let grubhub know even though palace pizza is the one who cooked it..

WOW! This place was awesome! We walked in and we knew that we were about to really enjoy an amazing Italian dinner. What a great pizzeria! The food was awesome and the staff was great. The manager came up and introduced herself to us and brought us complimentary cannolis which were great. We ordered calzones and they were huge. We took 1/2 of them home for a second meal. The atmosphere was great and it was a great overall experience. This place is a gem! They've been in business for 29 years and we can see why. We did leave room for dessert and that was a great choice because the tiramisu & strawberry creme cake were delicious! 10/10 would recommend! Can't wait to be back in Lakeland to stop by again.

I have been eating at this pizzeria for a while now. They have the best chrispy crust. Their variety of toppings is endless. I love the fact that you can have a slice or a whole pizza pie and never go wrong. Their desserts are also amazing! I absolutely, love it!😍

We finally stopped in for a slice while visiting downtown Lakeland, and wow... I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner. I'm usually not a fan of pizza by the slice, but I kept an open mind--and I'm so glad I did. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar slice and I went with the meat lovers, and hands down, this was the best pizza I've had in the five years I've lived in Lakeland. That's how good it was: the moment we finished our slices, we immediately ordered takeout for dinner later that night. We got the chicken broccoli pasta, cheese tortellini, and a Stromboli that was literally the size of a large pizza box. Everything was absolutely incredible--even after reheating at home, it tasted fresh and amazing. This place completely exceeded expectations from start to finish. Incredible food, generous portions, and clearly made with care. I can't wait to come back and work my way through the menu. Highly recommend--this spot is a must-visit. Service was super fast and the atmosphere is pretty chill. It does get extremely busy. They do have a really nice seating area outside on the side of the building. It's somewhat secluded or you can sit in front of the restaurant to see the happenings downtown.

The food was not very good and the owner was very rude. Located in a strip plaza with other restaurants and a Publix as the anchor business. The restaurant is in need of updating. Service was good.

Oooook! So my husband raves about this place all the time so when I had an opportunity to visit Lakeland for work, I came here to see what the hype was about. I totally get it now. The place was decorated old school Italian with red and white checkered tablecloths. Tons of pizzas on display. I ordered a slice of the spinach and ricotta one, and garlic knots. The garlic knots were dripping in butter. The slice of pizza was divine each time you have a bite of it. The people there at the counter were friendly and willing to help get whatever we needed. Excellent pizza. Loved it. Wish we had one similar in Orlando.

Plenty of people know this about Palace Pizza but I will once again affirm-it's so good. Always-don't think I've ever eaten anything bad here or any of the locations; I don't know if they are all related or not but they are all good. Some have different prices but all are good. This downtown Lakeland location has large portions and friendly service. The gnocchi was perfectly cooked-not too mushy and not undercooked. The Alfredo was of medium consistency. It wasn't runny and it wasn't overly thick. This is a perfect starter for someone who has never had gnocchi before because it isn't spicy and not too rich. And of course, the knots are always good.

Pizza by the slice is the way to go. My personal favorite is the Supreme. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly, helpful service.

Greasy pizza, reheated to order most of the time. Pasta dishes aren't bad and the sandwiches are pretty good. Service is always pretty good and the Resturant itself is nice inside and out

I wanted to find another pizza spot and got lucky ...pizza was good, garlic roll GOOD and of course I had to get wings. These wings reminded me of a few bars or bowling alley which are my favorite. Staff was really nice and the place was clean. Outdoor seating available with street parking or you can park in a lot.I will definitely be back.

Palace Pizza Downtown- Lakeland @palacepizzadwtn Had the pleasure of visiting this Pizza place in Lakeland, FL. This is a definite hit by the locals in Lakeland. As soon as I went in , it was a packed house and I could see why. Great food, great customer service and great atmosphere all in one place. Thier Outdoor Patio is simply awesome. Now with the fall weather, you can't resist to be outside enjoying your Pizza. They have a lot of good options to eat. Thier sweet treats are so delicious too . So if you happen to be in Downtown Lakeland, make sure to come visit them. What I had: 1) 2 Pies Pizza - Half cheese/ Half Pepperoni. Half bacon and sausage/ Half Pepperoni Jalapeño 2) Cheese Bread and Garlic Knots- great appetizers 3) Tiramasu- Great Choice for dessert 4) Calzone- don't underestimate this choice. It's big and huge. Very satisfying.

OLD WORLD PIZZA FAMILY ADVENTURE!!! We all love this PIZZA PALACE!!! We have been going here for a while and have never been dissapointed!!! It reminds me of the old school pizza places in regard to how you order and the variety of ready to heat pizza slice options to choose from. The exterior is a brick with old worldly Italian nostalgia decor. Interior tables have Red and white checker table cloth's, the walls have Italian style scenes/decor. The whole place always has a Clean look and feel. They have a Dessert/Bottled Drink case to tempt you while in line before ordering your entrees/pizza. Lots of YUMMIES, Try the Cannolis they're our favorite!!! They have or can make any pizza you can think of, almost of course, no one can have everything, lol, but pizzas Galore!!! They have many Salads, Italian entrees and other items to choose from. You can order by the slice and type of pizza or order full pies, pizza pies that is!!! They have so many ready to heat pizza slice types you'll have plenty of quick bite options to choose from and they are always fresh!!! Food to Value ratio: In my opinion Pizza Palace Pizza is worth the price point in comparison to others with same pricing & way less quality. It's worth the 35 min ride to eat here when we want Great Pizza, Garlic knots & Cannolis!!! AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

I walked past Pizza Palace the other day. But being from Chicago, I'm a pizza snob and would not even consider going in there. But I was at an event that was catered by Pizza Palace that changed my mind about this place. The food was delicious and prepared well. They had three different salads, a garden salad, antipasto salad, and a Caprese salad. All fresh. Also had garlic knots for appetizers Main courses included lasagna, gnocchi, and ravioli. Accompanied by meatballs, and a tray of sausage, onion, and green peppers. Food arrived warm. Everything was very tasty. If I'm back in the area, I think I would definitely give them a try.

Delicious pizza. Ended up walking from another pizza place at the joinery that has rude staff, unreasonable prices and a 45 minute wait to eat at palace instead. The line at the other place was 0 pizza long, whereas palace was almost out the door. Staff at palace are friendly, service was insanely quick, garlic knots and pizza was great. Only giving 4 stars because their soda machine is out of half the options and they didn't alert us of this. Otherwise we will keep coming back for the superior food and service.

Was wanting some pizza and I was in Lakeland and wandered into this spot. That's quite a few people already having lunch and I am very pleased that I came in. Lots of employees working all or happy to be there and very friendly. This is a cool spot to go check out. I ordered a slice of supreme pizza and it was really good and the garlic knots I regretted only buying one cuz that thing was on point! Eating it with the marinara sauce was another hit. They have indoor and outdoor seatings so I chose a sit outside it was really nice and the whole area is clean. So if you're ever in downtown Lakeland definitely come check out Palace Pizza because it's really good and they have a great selection. The bathrooms are clean.

One of the best pizzas I've had, phenomenal fresh hot delicious anchovies onion and sausage goodness! 5 stars hands down!

I give this place a solid 4! I give this place a solid for we were vacationing in Lakeland and on the last night there was a huge storm so we didn't want to go out so we ordered pizza in. We got there 18 inch rustic and it was so huge but it was definitely delicious. We also got an order of spaghetti and meatballs and hands-down the best I've ever had from a pizza place, we are in Lakeland again. We will definitely stop next time!

Considering that most people (sadly) don't know great pizza, which explains the high ratings. If you are that, you will enjoy it very much. To me, good enough. Using Dave's scale, I'd give it a 6.8. Remember for Dave a 7.3 is a solid pizza, good but not great. It's the best you'll get in Lakeland for sure. That said, I would not go out of my way to eat here.

As a delivery driver driver their service is horrible I have picked up multiple orders thinking things would change and it dont...I don't know if it's because I'm a black driver or what but they have been very unpleasant in my dealings with them the GM wouldnt even acknowledge me !

Absolutely great pizza! We had a group of twenty so had a little different experience than when you typically visit since you usually order at the counter. We had multiple pizzas. Everyone seemed to love them all. Then the desserts showed up. Wow. Amazing. Decent selection of beers in cans or bottles. Really nice patio. Great food and very friendly service.

Absolutely delicious! Saw a fellow helper make a great review of this place so I figured I'd give it a shot...well I am so happy I did the pizza here is delicious I ordered way too much but It was worth it. I got a rustica slice which I highly recommend because it's a light sauce filled with meat and cheese and beautiful ricotta on top it's the perfect blend. The chicken bacon each square was good as well but got cold quickly but yummy for sure. My daughter loved the pepperoni pizza not spicy roni slices it was perfect for her. The chicken tort comes with either a knot or bread I definitely chose the bread it tasted amazing especially dipping it into the soup!!!! I can't wait to go back.

The garlic knots are delicious! Do not pass on them. I'm a bit of a pizza snob. Plain slice was ok. I also got a meatball parm sandwich the meatball was ok but the bread and sauce was delicious. I'm coming back to try more sandwiches and knots get extra sauce for them.

We were just strolling through Lakeland when the incredible aromas coming from Palace Italian stopped us in our tracks--and we're so glad they did! Our group of five grabbed a table on their charming patio, which was both inviting and comfortable. We decided to keep it simple with a couple of slices of pizza and some drinks--everything was so delicious! To top it all off, we were completely surprised when the manager, Gina, treated our table to cannoli! She and the entire staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and truly made us feel like part of the family. Gina even offered to take a group photo for us in front of their beautiful mural, which made the experience even more memorable. We can't recommend Palace Italian enough--great food, great people, and a great vibe. We'll definitely be back!

The reviews here do not lie, the food and service was AMAZING!! We had a little bit of everything: veggie pizza, lobster ravioli, Greek salad, garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh to order and came out piping hot. The ambience is very relaxed and homey feel. I like that you can order at the front and the food is brought to your table. It made the service seem a lot quicker. I wish we lived in Lakeland so we could come here more often. It is that good!

One of the best places to have pizza in Lakeland. Been there few times during lunch hour. One of the better choices. Its quick and the food tastes great.

Ordered through their website for pickup and food was ready within 20 min and made correctly. Eggplant parm entree included side spaghetti and 3 huge garlic knots with sauce. Veggie Stromboli was big and had plenty of sauce. It could've had less cheese and more Veggies for my preference. Nice covered patio and indoor ambience of a classic pizza joint. 9/10 would come back!

You order from the counter while looking at the previously prepared menu items, then your selected items are warmed up and delivered to your table (see pictures). It is definitely an area favorite, as the place was buzzing when we stopped by for dinner. Tables were at a premium since it was quite chilly outside, so the outside dining area was not being utilized. The Garlic Knots (see picture) are unbelievably good - soft, warm, buttery and with just a slight outer layer crunch. In almost the same category was the Bruschetta (see picture) - crunchy bread, fresh ingredients and tasty seasoning! All of the pizzas that we tried (see pictures) were fantastic - not sure that you can go wrong with any of them. Most importantly, make sure you save some room for dessert (see cooler picture) and sample one or two before you leave. We had the Tiramisu and Chocolate Cheesecake - and both were oh, so delicious! Been coming to this joint since they opened in 1998. Best pizza around, without question. Quality has remained essentially the same as day one. Family owned; reasonable prices, although nothing like the old days of $3 for a huge slice and drink. Those days are long gone. Great establishment, support the local folks instead of the large chains. A+++

Well what a find!!! We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and we were so glad we did. It's small with some seating outside as well but we found a table inside no problem. I noticed the staff was quick to clean up when someone left too. 3 had chicken parm sandwiches that they could only eat half they were so big! I had the gnocchi and they didn't disappoint! The manager, Gina, came by and was so sweet and helpful! The cannolis were amazing! Thank you!

This place takes me back to the days of walking around Times Square in NY. Pizza shops everywhere serving out NY famous pizza. The problem with by the slice is the reheat, but hey pizza is pizza. Kind of, PP uses only the freshest ingredients. Something that takes you back to NY NY. If you're in town stop by for a slice. Well worth it.

The food is always delicious, the staff are always friendly, and the atmosphere is that of a mom-and-pop restaurant, which it is and has been for almost 30 years. My family and I have been coming here for almost 20 years and we've never been disappointed.

We took a little road trip and found this gem by accident. We chatted with a server outside and she said you won't be disappointed. She was right! We started with the meatballs and the roasted eggplant. Both were phenomenal. We got the Palace Supreme Pizza and good Lawd, that pie was delicious. The atmosphere is like a cafe straight out of Rome and the service was impeccable. So glad we parked, walked and found this gem.

Yum yum! Soooo we usually come here for Harry's seafood bar and grill BUT during a morning market we stumbled upon palace pizza selling bruschetta out in front of their business during the market. Now let me tell you this....I dislike tomatoes, they are not my favorite but these tomatoes are soaked so well in whatever they soak it in is delicious. Ever since that day we stop here for appetizers and then go on to Harry's for dinner. I really want to come back and try their pizza. This place looks family owned and they run it well. It is super clean and smells delicious every time we walk in. Garlic knots are very good but a little undercooked for me. Soaked in garlic which I love and tasty. Their marinara sauce is scrumptious too. May rent a air bnb one weekend and have a lunch here. The only thing I disliked was the very high sneeze guard when you go to order place your order. It was very hard to under the lady.

I had an amazing experience here from the staff to the Italian decorum, truly amazing place. Talked to one of the owners and loved the professionalism and true side of courtesy. The true balance between meet and noodle was amazing on the food. I wish I could have brought home a tiramisu but alas living an hour away it would have melted in the car. I can't wait to visit again!

Lunch today at Palace Pizza in Lakeland, Florida was awesome! Absolutely the best ever pizza. They have a huge selection of amazing pizza by the slice or you can order a full pie! The dessert case looked amazing and the menu had tons of options other than pizza. Great indoor/outdoor seating. Super friendly staff. Totally recommend!

Moved to Lakeland a little over a year ago and just found this place!!! Man have I been missing out! This is some of the best pizza I have ever had and the price for what you get was shocking... excellent pizza for a great price. This will be my new pizza place

I got old unwashed lettuce Caesar salad. The croutons were soggy and stale. Definitely not worth the $20.

Food is precooked and very average The food sirs in cabinets and is the reheated. Didnt get that at first. Very average quality

Found a hair under the first piece of pizza I grabbed on my order. I find it ridiculous that their base pizza is $13 and each adtl. Topping is extra ranging from $1.50 - $3.00. What BS!!!!! Turns a $14 pizza to $20+ real quick.

We stopped by for the first time today. We ordered a large Palace Supreme pizza and bruschetta with eggplant. It was so delicious. Staff were very friendly and showed us how their ordering process works. Very clean, and a great atmosphere. Plenty of seating and an outside patio. Will definitely be going again soon!

Ordered some Greek salads after finding this place on Yelp. They were delicious! My only issue was the description did not match what I received. There was no chicken or croutons in the salad, instead there were carrots and cauliflower. It was still delicious, but we were disappointed about having no chicken. I drove too far to go back to correct the order. I also ordered the minestrone soup and it was excellent!! The staff was fast and friendly when I went in to pick it up. Parking wasn't bad and the outside area looked really nice! Thanks

Coming from NJ where pizza and pasta meals can be found in many different towns through out the state, being in Florida became difficult to find anything close to what it's like back home. However this place definitely comes very close to it. The style and taste is on point and made me feel like I was up north again. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great pizza.
