Love this hidden gem! Great Hungarian desserts, made fresh by the owner herself. Can't wait to try the upcoming special dinners and homemade breads. Street parking available. Stop by for a sweet treat and a cup of hot coffee or a cold bottle of water.

Such a cute bakery. The whole setting is outdoor. All pastry are homemade style by the owner. She also offers Saturday dinner on reservation only when weather permits. The crepes are delicious! We will try Saturday dinner next time for sure.

Maria is a true gem. My husband and I have been here multiple times and is always a treat. The dinners and desserts are awesome and Maria also made some custom orders for me. Highly recommend. <3

A very cozy place to enjoy a delicious crepe or other Hungarian pastry and a good coffee. I had the raspberry crepe and the poppy seed pastry and loved them both!

My favourite place in Atlanta when I crave good cakes, tarts or European bread. Everything's fresh and tastes like home, the owner is lovely and offers small dinners sometimes.

She makes cakes also! Needs about a 48 hours advance notice but I can't wait to order one.

Yelp
Went for the monthly dinner. Our table wasn't ready, servers were polite, but disorganized. Food just okay. Waited an hour for any food to be served , and it was evident everything was made ahead of time . Chicken paprikash was ok but greasy. The food was not served at the same time to our party of 4. 2 of us had to wait 10 minutes while the others ate. Disorganized !! We asked to use the restroom and were given access to the store attached to the bakery. The restroom had no toilet paper or hand towels. When I told the server, he didn't seem to care. For a bakery, you would think they would have served a breadbasket with the $35 pp dinner. But none was served. We did see the waiter give a bag of rolls to the next table to take home . We weren't offered any .. The server who took our bill tried to get us to buy 2 loaves of bread she had in the back. Really!?! Would we go back ? NO!

Yelp
Adorable bakery and coffee cafe. Traditional Hungarian breads and sweets. Beautiful outside garden space to have a mid afternoon snack.

Yelp
Palacsinta is well worth the high reviews. Overall, I think this is a great, fun spot. Every thing that we ordered was really fresh and delicious. The staff was attentive, fast, and very welcoming. Overall I would go to this place again and again.

Yelp
I hesitate to post about this place due to how special it currently is. It's very small and owner-run. All of the pastries we had were delicious. We will be back.

Yelp
On our way back from our Florida road trip we wanted to stop by Palacsinta for a Hungarian treat. Since I am from Europe and have Hungarian roots this place and Maria were a special find. It was nice to be able to use my rusty Hungarian and have someone to talk to. Maria explained that over the months people have requested baked goods more so than crepes and her store has turned into a bakery instead. She still prepares crepes for private parties, however. She gave us some samples and the cheesecake was delicious! I was hoping for some savory/sweet crepes to fill us up though, so that was a little disappointing. It is interesting to note that she also mentioned that Hungarians do not tend to seek out her establishment, but that her clientele is mostly Americans and Europeans. We did end up buying one of the plum pastries and I had it for breakfast the next day. Yum! I do wish I lived closer to Atlanta to be able to stop by for a visit more often.

Yelp
The food is amazing. Dinner is reservation only. Even though the restaurant says it closes on here at 6pm she does reservations all the way till 7:30pm.

Yelp
The cutest and friendliest crepe past in the area. This is a small stand, but the owners and staff are so friendly! The crepe itself is much thicker than traditional French crepe; and I liked the texture and flavor. For the price, service, ambiance, not to mention the amazing crepe - definitely worth it!

Yelp
Owned and operated by a Hungarian lady. She stands outside where she prepares the crepes. Giving this place a very European feel, in my favorite part of Atlanta. They also make a very nice assortment of breads. My favorite crepe is Nutella with banana. This has become our favorite snack stop on Sunday's.

Yelp
This little roadside patio cookery is at the intersection of Oakdale and McLendon and open on weekends from 10am-5pm. The crepes are consistently spectacular. The chef at Palacsinta offers crepes in the following varieites: strawberry, raspberry, apricot, nutella, and a few seasonal flavors such as cinnamon sugar and lemon ricotta. Note: You can combine flavors. Raspberry & Nutella crepe?! YES. Each crepe is $4 and comes topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Palacsinta also offers some savory Hungarian dishes such as goulash and chicken paprikash. These dishes are $6 and rotate depending on the chefs' mood. There is also delicious italian soda available (I recommend the raspberry flavor) for $2, as well as bottled water. Bring cash and don't forget to tip! It feels good to eat here. You get to soak in the sun in a beautiful part of town, eat delicious and affordable food, and help a local business. Stop by if you're ever near Little 5 or Inman Park during the weekend!

Yelp
Terrific crepes, both savory and sweet, that Maria makes from her family recipe. My personal favorites are the popeye (spinach and feta) and apricot. She also has a rotating selection of pastries and breads that are fantastic; try the plum flower. Don't let the odd location fool you, it's worth stopping by if you're ever hungry in Candler Park.

Yelp
Such a great secret find! We found this place accidentally and were so impressed. Such a lovely friendly woman who owns and runs the stand. We ordered the popeye which was simple and very good. We even took some Hungarian paprika paste home it was so tasty. Loved it!

Mark P.

Yelp
Not only are the crepes indescribably good, but the entire vibe of this place is so eccentric and worth your time/money. Go. You won't regret it.

Pedro L.

Yelp
The environment is neat, just a small pull-up store with outside seating. Very "corner of neighborhood". My wife and I ordered the chicken and beef crepes and where less than impressed with the taste and quality of the crepes. Prices are reasonable, would suggest to sticking to sweet crepes.

Yelp
After passing by here many times, we finally decided this weekend to stop by and try it out. If you love crepes (both sweet and savory), you should pay this little joint a visit. We split a bowl of bean soup and a chicken paprikash crepe (paprika chicken and sour cream). Since no trip to a creperie would be complete with a good ol' Nutella crepe, we ordered one of those for dessert. They were out of whipped cream, but I didn't mind. Maria, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable. Along with crepes and soup, there are also breads and candies for sale. Prepared to be patient (there was only one person working), and it might be better to bring cash, as we were told that sometimes the internet connection there makes for tricky card transactions.

Yelp
Love this place! We go here a lot on weekends for Nutella crepes, Cinnamon Sugar crepes, and Chicken Paprikash or Goulash crepes, depending on mood. They now also have a variety of tasty baked goods that rotate in and out, including an excellent crusty peasant batard loaf, cookies, cheese biscuits, etc. I especially love the savory crepes, chicken and goulash, and the Langos, a garlicky, chewy fried flatbread with cheese that kind of resembles pizza. As mentioned by other reviewers, cash is best, and you may have to wait if there happens to be a crowd when you arrive--traffic flow is sporadic and seems to depend a lot on the weather. Parking is pretty easy: there are a couple of spaces onsite, and you can generally find a spot on a nearby street within a short walking distance. Highly Recommended.

Yelp
Awesome crepes. Our favorites are the goulash and the popeye. The lady that ows the place is very sweet!

Yelp
Awesome! I love that it's a small room with a few tables on the side of road. Food is very good. A line started as soon as it opened. Will come back.
