Palenque Cocina Y Agaveria

My fiance and I love coming to Palenque! Amazing food and atmosphere. The staff is amazing and accommodating. Very grateful it’s close to home with the food and drinks being as delicious as they are. They offer Gluten Free, Vegan, and Vegetarian options. Also, have a house Margarita! Holy cow it’s delicious! Especially on Mondays when that are two-for-one!

This Mexican restaurant never disappoints! The service is always pleasant and welcoming. They offer a spacious bar area along with a comfortable dining room. We ordered the steak quesadilla, which was perfectly juicy and tender, with poblano peppers and mushrooms adding incredible flavor. My personal favorite is the sautéed camarones in chipotle mushroom cream sauce--juicy, smoky shrimp paired with a sauce that's truly out of this world. We got some churros for a dessert and they were stuffed with chocolate and served alongside a rich caramel sauce. Every visit here is a great experience!

Five stars all around. Great food. Great drinks. Great tequilas!! Service is amazing. The view from the upper deck is so relaxing! 😎 The fajitas are fresh and the tortillas are made fresh. I would recommend them. The queso fundito was fresh and sizzling and again fresh tortillas! Monday specials 2 for one margaritas are so yummy! The paloma had fresh grapefruit!

Been to this restaurant twice in the last 6 months. REALLY disappointing both times. The layout and decor of the restaurant is deceiving: It looks like this place should serve GREAT Mexican food, but honestly, the food is extremely underwhelming (lukewarm and lacks flavor). This time around, I ordered the mushroom chile rellenos. The description says they are portobello mushrooms. I didn't see any portobellos in my relleno; looked like cremini to me (which is different). The sauce on top was warm but the rellenos were not. After digging through the sauce I could tell the rellenos weren't made fresh: They were flacid and had absorbed a lot of oil. My husband ordered the tamales which were supposed to be a specialty. He said the masa was fluffy but the fillings were bland. We don't understand the hype here. Maybe it's the tequila that is the draw, but there's so much better Mexican food in Denver than here. At least I can find one or two other places where the food will come out hot and have flavor.

Love that there are vegan options! It’s not often that Mexican restaurants have actual vegan options. I ordered the three vegan tacos without pineapple and they were so delicious. Small enough to get dessert at the end, but large enough to feel satisfying. My boyfriend ordered a burrito and he said it was among his top favorite burritos he’s had, and he loves Mexican food and gets it often

All I can say is - shut the front door!! This place is awesome! Best Mexican food I've had in a long time and very authentic tasting. Wish we still lived in Littleton!

Palenque is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Beyond the delicious dishes, the service is always fantastic. The staff is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience!

Probably the best Mexican restaurant experience I’ve ever had. It felt like we were on vacation with the amazing atmosphere, live music, and the most unique and delicious dish we’ve ever had. We ordered the vegetable molcajete and it blew our minds. Enough for 2 people plus leftovers. Incredible value for such a fantastic experience. This will now be a go-to place, and where we bring visitors. And the service was top notch!
