Palermo Argentinian Bistro Gramercy

For a great Argentinian BBQ experience this is the spot. Located minutes from Union square make it an ideal spot to meet up with friends for dinner or date night. Going with 3-4 ppl will help provide variety that allows you to try more of the different cuts of meat with most coming from Argentina. The meats were tender and cooked to perfection at a medium, for a bit heavy chew go for medium rare; but for these stakes I feel medium is perfect for my preference. The bread was fluffy and soft. The sides were great with the highlight being the beets. For meats the sausages and the other cuts from Argentina were a must try! Bathrooms were clean and staff was super friendly!

FANTASTIC! The food is always delicious from the starters all the way to the desserts. The staff is super friendly. Camila is delightful, she gave us the perfect menu recommendations and made the evening very enjoyable.

This is our new favorite Gramercy spot. The food is amazing, and the service is top tier. My partner and I have been here 4 times and they recognized us and took the time to individually welcome and make us feel like family. I have a gluten allergy (cross contamination is ok for me) but their food is incredible and I have not gotten sick after trying lots on their menu. For apps that are gluten free: octopus is so tender, the endive salad and burrata are delicious. They have oysters and their ceviche is gluten free and so good. The steaks were all so tender but our favorite was the skirt steak. The sides were all gluten free and made a great compliment to the steaks. For the non GF people, the beef empanadas come very highly recommended. Definitely make this a stop if you’re in the Union Square area! Shout out to Sebastian behind the bar, and the two owners who we can’t wait to see again!

The steaks are, without exaggeration, some of the best I’ve had in New York—perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and clearly sourced with integrity. The wine list is a love letter to Argentina, and the team is more than happy to guide you through it. You can tell this place was created by people who care deeply about food, culture, and hospitality. Palermom it’s an amazing experience, and one I can’t wait to have again.

Stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night and got seated right away. We got drinks and some starters and everything was fantastic! The humita (corn dish) was absolutely delicious and perfect for summer. I also loved the lamb croquettes with the mint yogurt sauce

My first time at Palermo at Gramercy. Everything from the service, to the food and ambiance was amazing!! Everyone was so friendly and did whatever they could to make us happy. Ed was so friendly and the first person we saw when we arrived. He seated us and came by often to make sure we were doing well. Laura and Camilla were our waitresses who were so attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Carlos and Victor two of the founders were wonderful to meet and we had a great time talking to them! This is a definite go to restaurant!!!

Great experience here. The service at all levels is fantastic. Special shout out to our bartender & server Sebastian. Highly recommend the tuna tartare and the chicken Milanesa- napolitana (pic attached)

My brother and I had an incredible meal at this restaurant. Our wonderful waiter Charlie suggested we try the corn and cheese empanadas and the skirt steak, which were both incredible. We also order the burger and the beef tartare which were equally tasty. The service was incredible and we will definitely be back soon!
