I was walking and i found this amazing restaurant . Its a nice clean restaurant. The food is amazing i can tell this is one of the best pizza that i have . The service is good even the prices are ok. If you are looking for quality and price this is a bad option . Definitely coming back soon

Google
First time eating from here. I got takeout; the chicken parm and tiramisu and it came with garlic bread and salad on the side. I have a mixed review because the portion of the chicken was humongous, literally the size of the container, but the portion of the tiramisu was like 4 bites for $8. The spaghetti was overcooked and mushy, which I was surprised about. I would have preferred a little Al Dente over that. The sauce was also pretty sparse for my liking and pretty bland. The chicken cutlet was the best part because the cheese and breading was good and crunchy around the edges. Tiramisu was tasty, just small.

Google
Unfortunately the food here was disappointing. We got pizza and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The chicken was dry and the pizza was greasy. We also got the beet salad with goat cheese which was decent. Huge menu with lots of options but we were not impressed with the dishes we got.

Google
We like this place. Just setting expectations. Very family friendly service, environment is clean and relatively minimal for an Italian restaurant. Food is what it is. A family owned (and so - better) version of Olive Garden.

Palermo-Ballard, a diminutive establishment nestled amidst the bustling streets of Ballard, presents a delectable fusion of Italian and Greek cuisine. Its friendly staff extends a warm welcome, promptly accommodating our takeaway order at the counter. We indulged in two exceptional large pizzas, priced at $30 each, a testament to their premium quality. The first, adorned with Italian sausage and pepperoni, showcased the chef’s mastery of classic flavors. The second, an all-meat extravaganza, tantalized our palates with an array of succulent toppings. Both pizzas were crafted to perfection. The tomato-based sauce provided a robust yet balanced foundation, while the crust exhibited a subtle softness that transitioned into crispy ends, reminiscent of delectable breadsticks when paired with a delectable sauce. Remarkably, our order was prepared within a mere 20 minutes, demonstrating the establishment’s efficiency. While the intimate indoor seating capacity is modest, it offers ample space for a comfortable dining experience. In conclusion, Palermo-Ballard is a culinary haven for pizza lovers. Its impeccable pizzas, exceptional service, and charming ambiance make it a prime destination for a satisfying meal. Whether you opt for dine-in or takeaway, you are assured an unforgettable epicurean experience.

We had a reservation for a party of 10 on a weeknight and Palermo truly delivered. Great quality for a really good price! Really big menu with plenty of pizzas, pastas, calzones, etc. I had the penne alla vodka with seafood. It has a creamy rose sauce that perfectly smothers the noodles and seafood. Mussels, squid, and I think shrimp were all cooked well, maybe slightly overdone but didn't matter to me lol. Mimosa yummy, wine yummy, good vibes, feels super family-oriented and the service was so kind the whole evening. We had a truly wonderful dinner that we all still talk about!

Google
Love the place. Amazing good. Olives were little salty but I can ignore with the taste of amazing dishes. The meat is well cooked. Street side parking. People are friendly and help you decide on items. They have a nice happy hour everyday. We ordered different type of pasta and we were not disappointed. Drinks menu is small you get wine and beer. This was my first time but sure to visit again to try out the dishes we missed.

Yelp
So good! And pretty decently priced for a sit down pizza restaurant. My 3 friends and I opted for the family size pasta, which comes with 2 side salads or 2 soups. We went for the large pizza which was about 12 slices. We asked for garlic crust but don't think we it :( It was quick service, and they came by and asked us how our food was at least once. Cost came out to $88. And one of us took about 3-4 slices home and maybe a half portion of pasta.

Yelp
This was a delivery order but there was absolutely no disappointment here. The pizza was excellent, adding the goat cheese was a great move and I was so happy that when I added eggplant it was prepared expertly and tasted wonderful. We didn't eat in, so I've only had take out, but I'd love to come into the restaurant itself and have some more authentic dishes. I also ordered the chocolate covered cannoli and was so happy with how delicious it was-hence no pics

Yelp
We were ordering pizza for a party in Ballard. They readily accommodated a large order (7 extra large pizzas) same-day. When we were running ahead of schedule, they even moved up our order. Each pizza was different: cheese, veggie, antipasto (artichoke, sun dried tomato, and basil), meat lovers, BBQ chicken, zesty bacon, and arugula with prosciutto. Everything was a hit with our guests. The fan favorite was definitely the zesty bacon (bacon, pineapple, mushroom, and jalapeño). I would order that again in a heartbeat. Toppings were generously layered, with just the right amount of chewy crust. We fed everyone for less than $10 per head and had over a pizza and a half left over. A great pick for if you want to feed a group, but want to go a step up from Domino's or Pizza Hut.

Yelp
This pizza is so good that I had to come back to give it another 5 star review. Also the Tartufo dessert is just delightful - highly recommend!!

Yelp
This place NEVER disappoints! Every time I have an Italian craving, this place hits the spot! I'm an Italian-American, and former Italian restaurant owner, who was taught about traditional Italian food from relatives who came here directly from their villages. Palermo knows what they're doing and knows the word "Abbondanza!" Feast here and ENJOY!!!

Clara G.

Yelp
The service was great and the food was even better. Loved the ambiance, very clean and very pretty too. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The menu is very extensive so there's something for everyone to enjoy. I am definitely coming here again.

Yelp
Great service, wonderful food. Penne vodka with seafood was outstanding. Piping hot with no microwave in sight. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Excellent all around for service and food quality $25 for 12inch sausage pizza $7 for Stella beer on draft

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service fabulous!!! The portions for our meal -chicken parm- were huge!!! Will go back again on our next visit to Seattle!!

Antonio S.

Yelp
The Pizza here is so delicious! The perfectly toasted cheese on top was melted to perfection. The service there was great, we were greated and seated in less than 30 seconds. The relaxed and cozy environment made a great dining experience. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
My husband and I love this place. I have eaten pasta here and loved it My favorite is the pizza. We always have a Canadian bacon, black olive and mushroom pizza (special order) the Italian salad and a bottle of wine. I think of myself as a pizza connoisseur. This is the best pizza I have ever had. The service is wonderful. A bottle of good wine is reasonably priced. It seems like most the times we have been there Anna has been our server. She is wonderful. Thank you. This restaurant has never disappointed us. So good!!!

Yelp
Wow x 5!!!! We've been trying new food spots every weekend that I have saved in my collections folders. We were not disappointed at all with Palermo! The ambience of the restaurant is so cute and comforting. No crowd on a Saturday afternoon and it was lovely to be seated right away. The service was excellent and there were so many tasty items to choose from. I loved the extensive menu AND the options to modify your meal without any hassle. We got the Margherita pizza with extra cheese, chicken fettuccine with pesto and the beef lasagna. All of the ingredients tasted fresh and delicious. The pastas also came with a choice of soup or salad which I thought was quite nice as a starter too. When the pastas came out they were served with garlic bread. The garlic bread was not amazing but I was so full from everything else that I really did not mind and I think it's nice that they even include that in the meal. We had a ton of leftovers and left full and happy. Excellent service and food, if I could give a 6th star I would! Will definitely return to this location.

Jina P.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday afternoon and seated right away. The portions are huge. The chicken piccata was amazing. The kids fettuccine and kids pizza was great according to the kids. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Our family stopped in for a late lunch and we loved it. We split a pasta, pizza, and Italian salad. The food was delicious and the prices were great.

Yelp
We order from Palermo far more often than we should. Like, once a week often. My husband usually orders their chicken calzone, a rich, cheesy monstrosity that is every bit as good as it sounds. I tend to go more for the pastas, particularly the pasta alla Norma. Their pesto pasta is excellent, too. Everything we have ordered, except for the included garlic bread (meh) is excellent. Also, they have their own in-house delivery so forget the crazy DoorDash fees and call them directly.

Yelp
Tried the pizza here at Palermo for the first time. Delicious!

Yelp
Enjoyed the ambiance, service was great -really friendly and receptive to questions, and the food delicious. The lamb pappardelle came with soup of the day, which was tomato basil soup and that was really good. The italian quiche/breakfast pizza with bacon and italian sausage was enjoyable. Wish I had room for dessert (tiramisu). Will have to come back to try it:)

Yelp
The first thing that struck me about Palermo is that the staff is incredibly friendly. They literally opened the door for my husband and I as we were coming in and out with our food. The Alfredo pasta is exquisite and I love that it comes with a chicken couscous soup. It makes for the perfect winter meal! The meatball sandwich is also delicious, super cheesy and amazingly seasoned. This will be my go-to for Italian food now!

Yelp
A great place to enjoy food during the weekdays. The service was great. I truly enjoyed the ambiance of the space between major events and a new festival.
google avatar

Kristin C.

Yelp
Meh. For as good as the ratings were maybe I expected too much. I got the chicken Parmesan, and a side salad. The salad dressing was not edible, and the pasta sauce was pretty generic. It lacked flavor and tasted jarred. For $25 I guess I expected more. I guess the chicken was pretty ok though, the pasta was cooked well, and the portion was very generous.
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
Big portions, friendly waitress, quick service! We enjoyed the half priced glasses of wine on a Thursday (and Tuesdays, according to the menu!) and our meals were delicious!!! We will be back!
google avatar

Parisa R.

Yelp
Add this place to your list! I just wanted homemade cozy pasta for lunch and that is what I got. I am so happy I found this place. The woman helping us might be the owner and she was just the sweetest person. They have such a large selection of pastas! The menu is pretty big and portions are large. It's just down the street from the Ballard Farmers market and it was great for lunch!

Yelp
I have been ordering their pizza for well over five years. Back when I lived in Greenwood, and now that im in magnolia, it's remained consistent with familiar staff and prices. Very friendly folks! I have yet to eat on site, but do pickup orders in the summer since there are east to park loading spots in front of their building. The pizzas are usually still warm when delievered which I appreciate. They put a generous amount of toppings and have lots of options to choose from, as well as customizations. I plan on indulging in some of their non-pizza items this winter and will provide and update in coming months with pics and suggestions. Price wise, I'm always satisfied with everything and not too picky which means I don't ever feel over charged for their food. I do like their crust as well - it's not too crunchy/hard/rubbery/thick, and has a good chew.

Yelp
Shared large #16 (chicken spinach garlic) and a full caesar salad and it was perfect. So yummy, nice ambiance, quick and great staff. Would go again

Yelp
This long time Ballard establishment is my fav breakfast spot in the neighborhood. Have been there for rather late (noonish) weekend breakfasts there the past three weekends Miraculously, I always get this awesome window seat! Give it a try - the food is amazing with LOTS of choices, prices reasonable, the staff is friendly and the people watching unsurpassed. I've only eaten there once for dinner, but it too was excellent.

Yelp
We had a party of 10 (walk-in) and were seated immediately by friendly staff! This place is quite generous with its portion sizes, located in an adorable Ballard neighborhood Chicken fettuccine: standard, pretty solid! Salmon pappardelle: Loved the texture of pappardelle & the salmon was solid too, well-done piece of fish Seafood special: Not a fan, unfortunately. Something about the fishiness didn't mix well with the vodka sauce & seasoning. Chicken parm: again, standard and did the job! Pizza: Delicious, and it was really cute they served it to us on the little wooden paddle Overall, solid Italian food. Just a bit heavy on the flavor, oil, etc. but you won't leave hungry :)

Yelp
Really nice pizza. Great crust, great sauce, and great cheese. We've been here a few times now and I continue to be impressed. We got the margarita pizza and I was so happy to get anchovies on half. This place has become my favorite pizza shop in Ballard.

Christine A.

Yelp
So sad. I wanted to love this place so bad! They deliver without having to use Uber Eats or Grub Hub and I was so excited to try them. Unfortunately, the food was literally inedible. It was so bad. Over cooked. The baked spaghetti was so hard we couldn't get it out of the metal pan. The meatballs were so dry we just threw it all away. So bummed.

Excitable B.

Yelp
I'm only writing this so no one else makes the same mistake I did. 20$ for a pizza the size of my hand. 8$ for a half of a hoagie roll with cheese on it. It's not like it's some premium product either, just a personal pan pizza you get at a movie theater. I know things are expensive these days. But this is a complete rip off. Domino's is better and I LOATHE Domino's. Save your money.

Uffda C.

Yelp
The food was delicious, and the service was great. They have a big menu, and I think they serve b'fast all day. I had coffee, Eggs Benedict, and the gelato dessert. It was a pleasant atmosphere.

Beth E.

Yelp
We loved this place on our vacation to Seattle. Everything was amazing. Food, service, and ambience.

Sandra L.

Yelp
12" Meatball sandwich was delicious and plenty of leftovers! Lovely staff. Perfect lunch spot for a rainy day!

Chane'l H.

Yelp
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Prompt delivery (yes they deliver to your door) !!, such GOOD food. Amazing customer service. I always get the zesty bacon pizza and it's seriously so delicious every single time. The owners are also so nice. Must go! :)

Yelp
I was working and wanted to order a quick dinner, so I called Palermo for delivery. I know that they are well known for their pizza but I wanted to try a pasta dish . The pasta with marinara sauce was very good . It included at no extra charge garlic bread and a side salad with Italian dressing . The salad, bread & pasta were all fresh and delicious. On my next visit to Seattle I plan to try their highly rated pizza. I recommend this restaurant!

S G.

Yelp
Great gluten-free pizza crust! Good Italian entrees - though the chicken parm was over cooked and puttanesca was a little salty/olive heavy. The Mediterranean salad was also really very good. We ate there at lunch time on a Saturday and had no trouble getting a table.

Bonnie E.

Yelp
I was looking for a warm, cozy place on a cold, wet night, and Palermo turned out to be perfect. Hubby and I sat in the window, enjoying perfectly cooked salmon and pasta with a delicious arugula Caesar salad. Exactly the low-key dining out experience we wanted.
google avatar

Brianna ..

Yelp
All I have to say is that they put chopped grilled chicken AND raw onion slices on a chicken parm sandwich. Horrifying.
google avatar

Boudreaux D.

Yelp
We typically get their food delivered. Everything we have ordered has been very good. Usually it is pizza and we think they are as good or better than anything out there especially for the price. Ordering is fast, easy and polite. Food comes on time and not cold. We have been a customer for a long time now.
google avatar

Trish C.

Yelp
This is the most consistently good restaurant in Ballard. The staff is so nice and the atmosphere is always chill and relaxing. Every meal I've had here is delicious. Not pretentious or expensive.
google avatar

Yvonne K.

Yelp
I came here for a quick bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised. I had the Palermo Gambas, which I've never had before but heard about on some social media site and the spaghetti bolognese. (I think that's what this was. It had fettuccine noodles so I apologize if I'm incorrect.) Both were equally delicious and the atmosphere was classic Ballard. The service was quick and friendly and the cream sauces were delicious. Normally cream sauces are quite heavy but this had a nice fluidity to me. Not too heavy but not thin. If you're looking for a great plate of pasta, this is definitely one to try!
google avatar

Mee K.

Yelp
We did takeout for this order on a Monday evening, and it only took 20 minutes! The pizza was fresh but a little too salty for my taste, so the salad balanced that out. Their salad ingredients were super fresh. The garlic bread pieces are huge, couldn't taste the strong garlic flavor (which I like) but it was still good with the marinara sauce. My favorite was the pasta! I highly recommend!! I want to try all their other pastas on the menu after trying this one out. Creamy & rich with lots of shrimp and mushroom in the one we ordered.
google avatar

Bret S.

Yelp
One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Got the xlarge #10 meat lovers with garlic crust. Loved the amount of grease and cheese. It was garlicky and meaty. I really enjoyed it and if I lived closer I would be going here a lot more. Really enjoyed this pizza!
google avatar

Stephen W.

Yelp
The pizza is beyond excellent. I had to push it away, certain I'd wolf down the whole thing. The standard Italian dishes are a little uneven. For example, the chicken marsala was perfect. The carbonara a little watery, an important point since the texture of the sauce is critical to the definition of a well-executed carbonara. The service is always wonderful. I'd passed this place a zillion times without even noticing it. Now, I've been here twice and loved it both times. I'll return often.
google avatar

Madi L.

Yelp
My husband and I got takeout from Palermo tonight and took it back home. We had a 10 minute drive and food was still warm when we got home! We got the fettuccini Alfredo and really enjoyed it. The sauce felt like it wanted to be spicy, but it wasn't spicy at all! The chicken was either undercooked or over cooked, not sure, but it was very tender to chew so we didn't eat any of it. We got a side Caesar salad, a half, and a full and they were all perfect sizes! I am impressed. Not a big price difference between the half and full salads, so I would go with full! Did not eat the breadsticks because they were too soft to enjoy by the time we got to them but they looked delicious!
google avatar

Alicia G.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Cute, Italian vibe, not exactly an anniversary spot but versatile otherwise. I've taken family, friends, and dates here and no complaints.
google avatar

Joshua L.

Yelp
The wine was good. The service...we ordered drinks eventually when she came to get the food order. Overall the place has potential. And by potential I mean we got the Linguini Special and the Chicken Alfredo and there was no flavor to either dish. We dumped as much table spices (parm, chili, oregano, salt, pepper) as we could and it was not good. I knew I could doctor it up into something edible for my money, so it had potential, and got it to go. Looks great, no taste. Wouldn't recommend unless you are a culinary genius looking for a base to work with.

Yelp
Got delivery pizza, arrived early, delicious. Gf crust a bit pricy but free delivery!
