I have been a customer of Paleteria La Michoacana for many years. I can confidently say that it makes the best ice cream I have ever tasted. What makes this ice cream truly exceptional is its large selection of flavors. Paleteria La Michoacana offers an impressive array of unique and diverse ice cream flavors that are hard to find elsewhere. Usto go here when I was younger ik the owner super sweet man but idk if they hired new ppl. The darker skin girl who works there was rlly rude and rolling her eyes. I brushed it off bc maybe she was having a bad day. I realized she was being extra slow and a line formed behind me. There were 3 extra workers just talking and laughing while a line of about 10 customers waited. It took them like 15 minutes until someone finally started attending the others.

OMG! We found this place couple months ago and have been there every weekend. Tried many flavors and still have more to go. So far, all are unique and tasty. One great point is they don’t drawn you in sugar! You clearly taste the real fruit in your ice cream or popsicles TRY CHEESE ICECREAM!!!!

My family and I came here for the first time on March and we came out with like 10 paletas and I had to try the mangonada and it was really good. Can't wait to go back soon. But I must warn you, you'll be spending some money here because it's so hard to choose just a few paletas. They also have other types of snacks. I didn't give it 5 stars because I didn't like they guy that took our order attitude,not very welcoming and we drove like 20 mins just to get the paletas but we'll go back again though.

First time here and plan to return. I bought three Popsicles (Soursop, Sorrel/Jamaica & Passionfruit). They were very fruit filled & satisfying on a hot summer afternoon. I cant wait to try more flavors

Parking is a little tough here, but I had someone to sit in the car. There's so much to choose from its overwhelming! There's a steady stream of customers and they would like you to order when its your turn, the pressure! I got the Mango sorbet cup, sorry not sure what its called, see pic pls., I tbought the sour and sweet were pretty good but I was craving more sweet & creamy. I guess that will be for next time. I have been coming to this place for over 10+ years and now that i no longer live in the area, i take my time and pay a visit when im around. This is a Must when in Yonkers ( i know there is nothing to do or see there) They have over 50+ flavors made in house and they all taste great. I personally have purchased over 40+ of them and no issues so far. This is a common Ice Pop Shop in Mexico and they have 2 locations in NY. I prefer the cheese and Mora( blueberry) its actually delicious. The best part is trying new things, if you are stale and dont like change, this is not for you. Prices are decent and they are always clean. Service could improve but i bet nobody here has any formal training. This is a mom and pop shop and i dont think they could afford hospitality training. I've been going here since I was a kid. In the summer I love getting their paleta de Limón! So refreshing.

Shop popped up on my feed while I was in the area and figured it was worth a visit. On a Saturday night there were plenty of families on line ordering ice cream and palletas. At $3 per popsicle it was a pretty good deal. Out of 7 so far we have tried the pineapple with chili - probably our favorite with the sweetness of the pineapple and cold balancing out the heat from the chili. The pistachio can be creamier and the strawberry was too icy and not enough strawberry flavor. Worth a stop if I was in the area again.

This place is an absolute gem! Fresh ice cream and paleta! They even have some snacks (elote, nachos, popcorn, soup..etc) So many different flavors to choose from. You can expect long lines in the evenings but it moves fast. Cash only!

so I LOVE michoacanas but specifically the scooped ice cream. I am so surprised they aren't more widely available in NYC (maybe they are but under the radar) so had been eyeing this place forever but finally went. everything I could hope for and more!! cash only. classic assortment of flavors and lots of paletas along with scoops. recommend the tres leches for sure. $6 for two small cups! I do so wish they had even more scoop flavors but I am very happy with their assortment!

First time trying a Mexican paleta. I really enjoy the flavor choices. May of the discuss flavors are common in the Caribbean and others are definitely an adventure for the taste buds! I had the Popsicles on my first visit. Passionfruit, Soursop & Sorrel.

Tried the mango and the blackberry y queso--both flavors were excellent and at only $3, they are quite a steal. Delicious and definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Wow this place is truly a gem in Yonkers. I waited a while to try but I'm so glad I finally did. I was missing out . I've already had like 4 flavors in one day with my husband lol. Everything tastes real- organic , fresh and handmade !!!!! Tastes like stepping back in time! Like your childhood

Walked in to the strong smell Of cleaning products. I lost my appetite. Popsicles and the flavors didn't look nor sound appealing. They even had a cheese flavor which I can't imagine is any good but who knows. My ex boyfriend however ordered Oreo popsicle and said it was delicious. I went to cold stone instead.

They sell the most amazing icecream here. The fresa de crema was a life changer for me. They have amazing prices, I got a jugo de Jamaica for only 2$!! The employee was also super nice and helped my friends and I out by letting us try samples and by recommending his favorite things. He didn't seem annoyed and overall it was amazing :)

I live up in Park Hill, and when I was at the bank across the street, I figured -- hey, why not? Had the tamarind popsicle and then had this Mexican fruit chicale(?) that's unknown to Americans. Pretty damn good, and good value. I'm going to swing by basically every time I go to the bank.

Really delicious paleta I am not disappointed. Extremely in expensive and affordable. I bought a Guanábana paleta and a mango con chile paleta. Extremely worth the price, and very refreshing. These are home made paletas

The best ice cream shop in the area. They have a variety of flavors! Staff is very kind and fast. It is very busy during the summer, I'm glad to see how well they are doing. If you are from Yonkers, you have to try their popsicles or soft serve. The best in business with store operating in different locations.

This is an amazing find! Home made ice-cream, frozen fruit. As the other reviewers mentioned they specialize in the Mexican paletas, the frozen popsicles made of fresh fruit, or icecream. Flavors include mango, avocado, tres leches, rum and raisins, and many many more. They also sell ice cream in cones and cups, $2.50 for a small cup/cone, and $3.75 for large! Can't beat that. Worth a trip to Yonkers if this is not your regular stomping ground. Accessible by public transportation.

Finally found an excellent ice cream shop in the neighborhood!! So many choices of fruit and ice cream pops as well as scooped ice cream choices! Quick and good service, but most of all delicious refreshing ice cream! The claim is that it's all natural-definitely tastes that way! My kiwi and strawberry pop had whole kiwi and strawberry slices! The Tres Leches ice cream in a crispy sugar cone was excellent too! Too bad its so close to home- planning to be here every day for the rest of the summer!

Amazing ice cream and pops. Great value for the price and the variety is insane. Anything from cheese to strawberry to strawberries and cream or strawberries and milk. Price ranges depending on if it is water or milk based but the prices are still great

I have been coming here since very young. I'm in love with this place. I was surprised going to my husbands town for the very first time in mexico and finding one there in almost every other town! Since moving to Brooklyn this place is a must every time we come to see my family, along with sin dulce bakery. I hope this place stays open forever, it would absolutely break my heart if ya'll were to move or leave.

This little spot has a nice verity of Mexican Popsicle's(Paletas) & Mexican flavored ice-cream. They offer Esquite, fresh fruit sliced up with chili powder & other Mexican treats. I recommend the 'Tres Leches' ice-cream & the 'Gansito' ice cream ! The paletas (Popsicle's) are all great as well. They have a great assortment of those as well like cantelope,watermelon, sorrel,pineapple and plenty others . I always buy some & sit across the street to eat it . Then come back for more to take home for another day. So, I have to rush home after that :) but well worth it ! Cash only !

I had been wanting to try this place for the last 15 or so years. I finally went in recently and cannot stay away. This gem of a place has sooooooo many delicious, natural paleta flavors . So far we've had avocado, coconut cream, coconut water, guanabana and strawberry. I cannot wait to try everything. I'm happy just thinking about the place!

Service is ok they move kind of slow . Ice cream was ok had the cookie n cream but tasted ok wasn't the best ice cream lil on the water side then Tasting rich n creamy like hersheys or briers ice cream.

Really good popsicles. $2 for water base, $2.75 for the cream base. Coconut cream was delicious, as was the water base strawberry and melon. This will be a summer staple for me!

I grew up near by and still drive all the way up to Yonkers for my popsicle fix. This place is unsurpassed. Rice pudding is my favorite flavor. Picked up 50 popsicles for my sister's wedding. Everyone went nuts for them.

This place is such a gem and has an amazing variety of fruit frozen bars and milk/cream ice cream bars. They also have ice cream that they sell in a few sized cups or comes. The space has seating and there is often a line out the door. I have tried mango, gansito, pistaccio and dulce de leche flavors. Would highly recommend!
