"This Shirlington mainstay offers a next-level twist on hot chocolate, starring Bruno Mars’s SelvaRey chocolate rum and Ghirardelli cocoa poured into a glass with a graham cracker rim and torched marshmallow topping ($13)." - Kalina Newman, Tierney Plumb

Had their bottomless brunch and it’s totally worth it. I tried a little of everything they offer for the most part. The vibe is nice and the food overall is good. I like the variety of options they offer and I definitely left full and satisfied. The drinks were decent, not too strong and the right amount of flavor to my liking. Definitely will try again for sure

It was a new experience for us. I didn’t enjoy the food. Too salty and the flavor was unique but not for me, can’t explain it. At first bite everything tasted good but then a funny after taste. Everything tasted like it was cooked in sausage juices and licorice. The food was prepared great but I didn’t like the seasonings and flavor. Very cute and cozy scene. I would go for the bar. It’s a cute date spot. The waiter was so kind and took great care of us. I give it 5 stars even though I didn’t really like the food. Oh and the late night menu is much shorter than the regular menu. This place stays open late which is nice.

Service throughout the brunch was outstanding! Stacy didn't needed to be hunted down she kept a watchful eye on the water bottles and the coffee. Bringing fresh and ready to top off. The food portions were spot on you didn't get a turkey platter portion for the entree. This allows you to sample the waffle & taco bar. The food is on the spicier side so taste before adding a kick. I ordered the roasted mushroom and corn flat bread. It was delicious. I tried the French toast sticks served with 2 sticks, but I did not like the deep fried approach. I didn't eat the second one. Others at the table did enjoy the fresh fruit with waffles. The small soft Tacos were delicious and slightly messy. The menu was a little confusing. You can order from the menu OR you can order the Full Brunch which includes the waffle and taco bar PLUS the menu. Just clarify so you aren't completely surprised when you get the check. Atmosphere: wonderful works of art adorn the walls. If something catches your eye, ask, it may be available for sale. There was an artist sitting in the corner window working; which you can observe as the canvas comes to life. It was a gorgeous day and outdoor umbrella tables are available. There is street parking as well as garage parking but even if you have to stroll the sidewalk it's completely enjoyable. Street parking does have pay machines and the parking app is universal.

This place is outstanding. Our waiter was named Leo, he was great. He explained everything very well and had some great recommendations like the Passion fruit Agua Fresca drink. The atmosphere is so pleasing to eyes, there's artwork everywhere, even on the menu. I had the bottomless brunch and there is a taco bar along with a waffle bar. I had the Chili Chicken sliders and there is an absolute burst of flavor in every bite. I believe there is a hint of ginger in it too. One of my favorite dishes today were the Curry Empanadas. They give u two but I can't get enough, the Curry sauce is really good. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to taste different flavors of great and beautiful food. This place deserves 10 stars honestly.

My sister brought me to Palette 22 for dinner. The small plates were just perfect. They have a pretty good selection. I'm a picky eater when it comes to protein. I'll eat as long as there are seafood dishes or veggies. Palette 22 had all of that. One complaint, if you like food on a spicier end, this place is for you. I found some of the dishes were too spicy, like green papaya salad, and the seared aji scallops (I love scallops), to name a couple. The food was tasty! The location is fantastic, all walkable to the surrounding shops and restaurants.

Bottomless brunch is a hit. Monkey bread is wonderful, Bellinis are a nice touch. Empanadas always crispy and yummy.

Great spot for a light brunch! Small plate tapas style portions but definitely shareable for two people. Hungrier? They have an all you can eat option for around $30 a person. Going a la carte, total came out to under $50 for 3 small plates and 6 drinks. Pictured: the lumpia, spicy chicken sliders, and french toast sticks. We preferred the passion fruit bellini over the blood orange mimosa but both were good drinks.

My whole family thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. We stopped many times to look at each other and say "wow". It was that good! My husband and I did the Dinner Passport, so we tried 7 different items (1 dish we ordered twice). These were our top 4: 1. Crispy Potatoes (Pictured. Don't underestimate these. The potatoes are perfectly crisped and the aji picante it's served with is unreal. This is what we ordered twice.) 2. Sesame Steak Skewers (A very close second for us) 3. Tuna Crudo 4. Dan Dan Noodles (Pictured) The food was quick and the manager was attentive and spoke with each table about their experience. We will for sure be back!
