The food was absolutely amazing! The black bean hummus had an incredible flavor and paired perfectly with the warm pita. The crispy chicken sliders were easily the highlight—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The Caesar salad was fresh and well-balanced. Our server, Natalie, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and gave us excellent drink recommendations that really elevated the meal. A great experience overall!

Google
Amazing global-inspired street food served small plate style at fantastic prices! The shrimp and pork lumpia was my favorite, with the crispy Brussels sprouts and chili shrimp taco ranked close behind. Bottomless dining available for lunch, dinner, and brunch. Don't miss Happy Hour in the bar or on the patio for even more bang for your buck. I can't wait for my next visit!

Google
This is a tapas style restaurant with a pinch of art, if you read from its name. We arrived around 5 pm and found a street parking spot (later we knew there was a parking garage nearby). We chose the all you can eat menu and there were foods from many parts of the world. My personal flavor was the sesame steak. And the rest were also pretty good. I had to mention the service was excellent. They were friendly and attentive. I would like to try it again if I go back to this area.

Google
Natalie was a fantastic server. Incredibly attentive, great food recommendations, and gave my mom a free drink for her birthday! She truly made it a special birthday brunch, and the food was amazing, as always!

Google
Great idea for a brunch spot. Visited on a weekend with reservations and joined for brunch. There is an endless brunch option where you can choose any entree and also access to the waffle bar and taco station. There is no parking lot and on weekends parking can be tricky to find. All the dishes are in the tapas style so think small shareable plates. Even though the dishes are tapas style some of the dishes are large and filling. My favorites were the monkey bread, tacos, and shrimp and grits. If you order the unlimited brunch option the mimosas and Bellinis are half price which is great. The service was also fantastic as Natalie always kept our waters full and the food coming. Highly recommend for brunch ❤️❤️

Google
It has been some time since our last visit to this establishment, and I must say that our dining experience was quite enjoyable. The food was flavorful and complemented the cocktails nicely. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was distinctive, enhanced by the numerous artworks adorning the walls. Overall, we had a wonderful time in this art-themed restaurant.

Google
The value and flavors here make it tough to rate this place anything less than five stars. While some dishes were just okay and others really stood out, nothing was disappointing. The highlights were definitely the cheeseburger sliders, sesame steak skewers, chocolate mousse, and black bean hummus.

Google
Stopped in for quick lunch in between appointments. This was my first time dining so I selected the bottomless brunch. My server was great and he assisted me with recommendations. Dining alone there was no way I could try everything on the menu. I tried each of the items pictured and they all were excellent choices! The dan dan noodles were a bit spicer than expected but overall it was great dish. Pictured are pork belly bao buns, jerk chicken, scallops, marinated steak, str eet corn and cucumber salad.

Yelp
Chris was excellent!!!! I am definitely going back! The happy hour is the best for quality and price.

Yelp
I've been to Palette 22 a few times for brunch but recently went for evening service. PARKING: Plenty. There are a few free parking garages nearby and a parking lot behind the restaurant. SERVICE: Service has always been great. Due to the tapas/bottomless setup and the server typically checks in to clear the table or put in more food orders. SETTING: I love the setup. It's adorned with art of local artists and at times you can see someone painting at the front of the restaurant. This time in particular, I loved a lot of of the choices they had on the wall. FOOD: I had a lot more than what's listed below but these were the the dishes that yielded additional commentary. HOUSE-MADE SIENATIRE SANGRIA RED |WHITE For the bottomless price these were 5.22 each and were really enjoyable. I wanted a sweeter drink so I got the white sangria. Very good complement to everything. SOUTHWEST CAESAR My friend enjoyed this but didn't expect it to be a full size portion. CRISPY CRIOLLA POTATOES These were really good with a surprising texture. Crispy outside with somewhat of a mashed potato inside. P22 CHEESEBURGER SLIDERS They may rotate their menu but this is always a staple item. The slider is really delicious with the absolute favorite getting the sauce. TUNA CRUDO Crudo can be hit or miss but this was seasoned well. Would order again SEARED AJI SCALLOPS* This was another fave, considering our meal was inexpensive, I thought this was a really nice treat. Cooked perfectly and every ingredient complemented each other. **SWEETS** DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE This was the biggest standout. I'm not a dark chocolate person and my friend doesn't really care for mousse. He was expecting a basic pudding and this was so much more. It had so much flavor and was sweeter than I thought. With it being dark chocolate I thought it would be bitter and I was pleasantly surprised. OVERALL - We loved nearly everything we tried, we loved that some portions were generous though we didn't want to waste anything because you are eating a ton of food. Pace yourself for sure. I return repeatedly and have never been disappointed.

Yelp
The food was amazing. We all got a passport so that we could share different experiences. The wait staff was friendly and on point. We sat outside. It was a great experience. I will come back again F

Yelp
The food is always great, the service was okay & the drinks could be better. Overall, I love this place for small bites/drinks/date night.

Yelp
One of the only places with unlimited brunch where all the food items tasted good. My favorite was the khao soi empanada and French toast with cornflakes as the crust. In addition, the chicken sliders was spicy and juicy, lumpia with shrimp and pork was crispy, pupusa was cheesy, the sausage biscuit was hearty, and pizza was tasty. I also tried the chicken skewers (not pictured) and they were juicy. Now, I wouldn't recommend the agua Fresca because it's very watered down to what I'm normally used to. Needed way more watermelon in it to stand out. Service was pretty quick and there's plenty of seating inside (would still recommend to get reservation if going on a busy weekend). Parking is also solid. Inside, there's plenty of art you can look at and also purchase I believe.

Yelp
The Great: The P22 Cheeseburger Sliders are amazing as before. Crispy onions add a nice texture to the bite. Service was excellent. The Good: Seating not available except the bar, but that just means they were busy for a Sunday lunch. The Not so Good: The water tasted like dishwater. I've had sodas have the same taste here before. The bar tender was making red drinks above the sink which held the ice. Those drinks were dripping down into the community ice. Our server then scooped the same ice out of the sink using the drinking glass, not the scooper, to make our sodas.

Yelp
Arrived an hour too late for brunch. Brunch ended at 3pm and 4pm on Sundays...NOTED! So we opted for the bottomless dinner which consisted of unlimited tapas. We tried a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed the brussels and Mexican street corn. I also enjoyed the pepperoni pan pizza after pulling off the pepperonis lol As well as my Blueberry Mojito. The hubs enjoyed his options as well. Will definitely venture back for brunch. The menu is interesting as they offer a variety of options from Mexican, Mediterranean and Asian fusion dishes. Service was great. The bartender who also waited on us was on point with her service even though she manned the bar as well as the tables that were around the bar area. I was certainly impressed. Definitely give this place a try!! Happy Yelping!

Yelp
I want to preface this review by stating that this restaurant could easily be 5 stars for someone else. While I enjoyed most of the food that I was able to eat, the menu didn't have the variety of breakfast dishes that I typically like to see on a brunch menu. It seemed more like a glorified version of their dinner menu. Most of their brunch specialty dishes contain pork. I really enjoyed the monkey bread & the French toast sticks. The curry chicken empanadas and the spicy chili crisp fried chicken sliders were great eats as well. There's also a waffle bar & a taco bar that you're able to walk up to as a part of their bottomless brunch. Service was good, too. Ordered the curry chicken empanadas, & they forgot to bring them out. But once reminded, our server had an order brought over to the table within a few minutes. Besides that, they were attentive and constantly checked in with my table. I like the vibe of this place a lot. They had an artist painting a piece in the front of the restaurant, which I thought was pretty dope.

Yelp
As visitors of the area, this was the perfect place to check out! The food was delicious, there was plenty of seating, and the service and ambiance were impeccable. My friends and I really enjoyed getting the bottomless lunch. For only ~$30, we were able to try so many different appetizers, entrees, and desserts! They were even able to customize some menu items to be vegeterian for some of my vegeterian friends. Would recommend!!

Yelp
Came here for dinner this time and sat at the bar. We opted for the bottomless option and we enjoyed the food more than we enjoyed the brunch last time. We loved the flavor of most things. Definitely recommend: Crispy Brussel Sprouts - loved the flavor and would recommend the sauce here be used for the Chilled Chilli Udon Noodles which lacked a little flavor Chili Shrimp Tacos Spicy Shrimp & Pancetta Pan Pizza The Dan Dan Noodles and Sesame Steak Skewers were very salty and while the flavor is there, the salt was a little too overpowering. The Butter Chicken Tikka Masala was okay and also leaned on the salty side but not bad. For dessert, the churro had great flavor but unfortunately was not cooked all the way, it was just a little underdone and gooey in the center. Service was good at the bar, some lags initially but picked up fine as we stayed.

Yelp
This is a pretty cool spot with a very artsy atmosphere. We enjoyed the small plates which were very filling. The food was always fresh and delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. We will definitely return.

Yelp
The only thing I was disappointed in was not trying bottomless brunch! Welp, another reason to go back to this cute spot. Had brunch here and chose to do a la carte: monkey bread (yum), French toast sticks (yum), jerk chicken sewers (delish), spicy shrimp & pancetta pizza, and chipotle chicken pizza. Both pizzas were bussin (double yum). Although the atmosphere was very busy and loud, the waiter still took out time to explain how the brunch experience works. This restaurant serves small plates, so order more than one item if you're really hungry. Very good!

Yelp
Good service, although a little hard to understand the server due to the volume and the server's accent. Expansive, but wish there were booths. Table/chair setup Water is brought out immediately, and their mocktails are really good. The blueberry and strawberry ones hit the spot. 8/10 The potatoes were delicious, seasoned, and served with a creamy sauce. 7.5/10 The Brussels were divine, and served with a great sweet and spicy chili type sauce. 9/10 The sliders were good (from my guest 7/10) The small dessert bites captured in the photo were ok. 5/10 The mango mousse was great. 9/10 Street parking and garage parking.

Yelp
We came for the bottomless tapas dinner and it did not fail! I was expecting small bites but the serving size was large. We were a table of 4 which made everything shareable and allowed us to indulge on more variety without wasting food. The Sangria is the special with the food as it is a cheaper rate when paired with the unlimited tapas. If one person in your party wants the bottomless tapas, the entire party has to get it. Trust me, it's worth it. My favorites were the potatoes and the scallops. The potatoes were perfectly cooked with a crisp all around and moist center. The scallop was also cooked well and the addition of the mashed potatoes was a pleasant surprise to my taste buds. My least favorite was the pork belly bao and surprisingly the chicken wings. They both have the potential to be good but it was a bit salty for me. The saltiness overpowered the flavor. Very nice place, cool vibe, and great service. Will return.

Yelp
Palette 22 is such a fun and unique spot! Located in the Village at Shirlington, this place combines art and food in the coolest way. While you enjoy your meal, you can look around and see arts all over the place. Bonus: the art on the walls is for sale if something catches your eye! The menu is full of globally inspired small plates, and everything is perfect for sharing. Some must-try dishes are the black bean hummus, crispy criolla potatoes, and jerk chicken skewers. They also have a bottomless dining option, so you can try as many dishes (and desserts!) as you want--perfect for a foodie adventure. The vibe is vibrant, lively, and full of energy. Whether you're out with friends, on a date, or just want to try something new, Palette 22 is a great choice.

Yelp
Love the variety of the menu -- and if you are really hungry and love to try a bunch of different national cuisines, highly recommend the endless little plate option for either lunch or dinner. Among the standouts: the Brussel sprouts (I know, seems odd, but they do a great job with them here), the Tuna Crudo, and the Mexican Street Corn pizza. Food comes out as it is available -- NOT when everything that is ordered is ready. Servers have electronic menu ordering system, so you can add on anything any time. Food is clearly prepped as ordered - everything comes out at the right temperature. Parking is free and easy in multiple garages around Shirlington. Its a great 90-minute dinner option before the start of a show at the Signature Theater (one-block walk away).
google avatar

Patrick G.

Yelp
This place is underrated I think. Their bottomless options are incredibly generous, but even if you don't want that I've always enjoyed anything a la carte. It's convenient to the movie theater in Shirlington and just a relaxing place to go with friends.
google avatar

Candace K.

Yelp
The bottomless brunch deal is so worth it! You have so many options and the food comes out fast. The ambiance is open and can be loud with large groups, but it's definitely a place to try with some friends and everyone can have a chance to try everything!

Yelp
Visited Palette 22 a few Sundays ago at noon and while it was busy we got seated quickly and even had a window seat, the space is quint but comfortable. Our waiter was sweet and prompt, we did the bottomless brunch and ordered a number of small plates, from southwest Caesar, monkey bread, shrimp and grits, French toast sticks, cheeseburger sliders, curry chicken empanadas, spicy fried chicken sliders, jerk chicken skewers and more. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all and came out quick and timely. We ended our meal with two orders of churros but the waiter forgot. So when we reminded him he got right to it and one order of amazing churros were brought out, but when asked the person who brought it out for the other order he acted like he couldn't. So we just told him not to worry about it. Other than that, our brunch was great! Will most certainly return.

Yelp
Our waitress Natalie was so nice! Palette22 is a favorite of mine, so I've dined here numerous times. Natalie told us to try the shrimp and pancetta pizza and it was AMAZING! The all you can eat brunch for $32 is such a great deal. Another surprising delicious bite was the Caesar salad, I didn't expect it to be that good. They'll be seeing me again and again!

Harrison G.

Yelp
Did the unlimited dinner -- glad we did because the food wasn't good enough to be a regular dinner... I thought the food was pretty good but if you're not super hungry, I would find somewhere else. It feels like Ambar; the food is OK but feels mass-produced. The plates are pretty pricey ($10) for a TINY plate of anything; for example, a tiki masala was $10 (regular menu and bottomless same), but it came w a couple pieces of chicken and a teaspoon of rice. If you're coming for all you can eat, Worth it. If not, then no.

Yelp
A first for me but worth the drive! The Bottomless Dinner is back and delicious and nutritious! We really enjoyed having the variety of tasty tapas style food to choose from and without feeling overly stuffed. The hostess and the server, you know what how about the entire staff was wonderful and on point. Great customer service will definitely get my money and time. It was a little loud BUT it was during HH, so it was as live as expected and should stay live! The art all around was fun and swanky. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and wouldn't mind the drive to come back for another experience for great customer service and food.

Yelp
My friend and I ate dinner here on a Friday around 6:30pm in September. We wanted a place to eat before seeing a show at Signature Theatre. I hadn't been here in 7 years, so I was excited to eat here again. We were seated immediately. We were seated in the back at a four top table near the kitchen. It was kind of loud in the area hearing the dishes clank, but we were out of the way of most of the foot traffic, so I didn't mind. The music wasn't too loud, which was nice. There are quite a few tables in the restaurant (many four tops) so there will be plenty of room for your party and tapa dishes. The menu had a nice array of cuisines and dishes. The dishes are cooked to order and come to the table when they're ready. Service was decent. Our server was training another person, which was fine. They checked in on us a few times and food came out promptly. We opted for the "Passport", which is any 4 menu items for $38.22 per person. If you choose the Passport, all people in your party must order it. The dishes ranged from $6 to $15. My dishes totaled $45 if I ordered them individually. My friend's totaled $34 if she ordered them individually. We ended saving $2.56 with the passport. It might be worth it if you want the higher priced dishes. Some portions were much larger than others, but overall they were fine. I had: - Crispy Criollo Potatoes (smoked tomato aioli, ahi picante sauce, cotija, lime) - My favorite of the night! The potatoes were so crispy and creamy. The sauces with them were delicious. - Cuban "Sliders" (capicola, salami, pickles, swiss cheese, dijon aioli, pressed bread) - I liked this, but probably wouldn't order it again. - Butter Chicken Tikka Masala (basmati rice, caramelized onions, roasted corn, tikka masala sauce) - Great. Lots of wonderful flavors going on. - Sesame Steak Skewers (ginger aioli, toasted sesame seeds) - My second favorite of the night. The aioli was the perfect dipping sauce. My friend had: - Crispy Brussels Sprouts (soy-chili honey, sesame almond granola) - Lebanese Spiced Carnitas Tacos (shaved lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, serrano labneh) - Curry Chicken Empanadas (khao soi curry chicken, peppers, onions, ginger) - Pork & Shrimp Lumpia (garlic, napa cabbage, carrots, ginger, soy, spicy lime vinaigrette) My friend enjoyed everything she got. I tried a few brussels sprouts and they were delicious. I hope to return to this location soon. The service was good and the food was excellent. I noticed they have a brunch menu, so I would definitely love to check that out.

Yelp
I really enjoyed brunch. I like the small Plate concept. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The cost was $32.22 per person. I added on a brunch mimosa for $4.22. We tried: Street corn Chilled chili udon noodles Crispy Brussels sprouts - the standout dish Monkey bread Shrimp + grits French toast sticks Churros - standout dessert Pork & shrimp lumpia Looking forward to returning

Yelp
Honestly, this is my go to place for a happy hour. Happy hour on Monday lasts until 9 PM but you have to request to be seated in the bar area next to the large windows in order to order from the menu. There's usually an artist who is working on a canvas or available to do sketches or doodles for tips which is a fun added quirk to the restaurant. I usually go during happy hour and the ambience is medium to moderate noise level, depending on the crowd, a little dark, but overall fun and you can still hear the person across the table. The menu is constantly changing so if you visited last month, It may be completely different next month but they do keep fan favorites on. The happy hour menu is ridiculously discounted for food and you can eat an entire meal for about 25$ ( all the other times I ordered other entrées/drinks/ are not pictured LOL). Go to orders that have stayed on the menu are: jerk chicken skewers, chicken, sliders, black bean hummus, crispy brussels sprouts to share (big plate!!!), white wine (5.22$). The butter chicken is not the most flavorful so not my favorite. Definitely bring a big group and have a good time here!
google avatar

Cleapatra C.

Yelp
Tried this spot for the first time last night and it was as close to perfect as you can get. Mondays, the happy hour is from noon to 7. Everything was priced from $4-$7, so we tried a bit of everything. My favorites were the Brussels sprouts and elote corn. There was a young lady inside painting and selling paintings which was cool. There's also a very artsy vibe on the inside and it's super inviting. I'll be going again sometime this week before the end of my trip.

Yelp
We got sat at "John's" table near the middle slightly behind the waffle and taco station. Saturday, May 17th at 12:10pm. John is a tall gentleman who was by far the worst server I've encountered in the last 10 years. We brought our friends who have never been to P22 before, so we were excited. We had the bottomless brunch -- Skewer chickens, chicken sliders, and the cucumber dish were my favorite. I've noticed that the busser and food runners offered amazing service. Wish we we could have given tip to them instead. I used to be a server back in the day so I really appreciated their work. John barely introduces himself in a welcoming manner and then takes our orders eventually. Throughout our meal, he never once stopped by to check on how the food was tasting or if we needed anything else. In fact, it took him so long to come check on us after the first round of orders that I found myself stretching my neck out constantly looking for him. When he finally passed by our table (around 20 minutes later), I caught him to make our 2nd round of tapas orders. While we are placing our order with John, he says that we can have one of our orders "later"... UM, if I'm placing an order for my bottomless brunch, I would like you to put in the order right away sir. Ok? We just ignored his ignorance. We made our one last order and still not pleasant. Just kind of robotic. Also, our table kept getting pretty crowded with so many empty plates. Of course the bussers did the best they could but they had others tables too. Whenever he passed by our crowded table, he would only occasionally take our empty plates and then he would ask us to give him the plates. The table wasn't even that big so I KNOW he can make that reach himself and clear it HIMSELF. But no, every single time we would be bussing the table for him while he stood there collecting the plates. Odd thing is, I saw John working his other table that was a large party. Maybe around 15-20 people. He was very much attentive with them. I'm hoping he wasn't treating us this way because of our race. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Finally, when we we asked for our check, it was time for us to put our tip amount in. They use one of those portable card machines; he hands out the machine to me so I can input the tip amount in and sign. I tried to take it but he tugs it back, and then I tried gently tugging it back again, but he wouldn't budge. I actually really despise putting my tip amount in while a server holds out a portable card machine. It really makes me uncomfortable....RUDE MUCH? WHY ARE YOU A SERVER DUDE? YOU SEEM MISERABLE. If I am choosing to not eat at my home and go out to a restaurant to PAY for food AND service, the least you could do is offer somewhat of an adequate service. I reluctantly gave 18%. I wish I could go back and put $2 instead. I hope Palette22 is paying their bussers and food runners well. They were amazing. Food overall was pretty delicious. Sadly, I cannot give more than 2 stars. The service made all 4 of us pretty upset. Please do better! People these days think tips are automatically a GIVEN. No, you need to work for it. If you don't work for it, don't expect a decent tip or anything at all, and don't complain about it. It is not our jobs as consumers to pay YOUR wages for terrible service.

Yelp
Food: Beware that menu's differ between day and night. At night, they have a 'late night menu' which is shortened menu. All food items are small tapas/shareable plate sizes. Ambiance: Nice! At the bar, the tv's are usually playing various sports games. Sometimes there is a featured artist in the corner of the restaurant creating art that can be purchased. Light music can also be heard through the restaurant. In addition to indoor seating, the restaurant does have outdoor/patio seating.
google avatar

Yelp
Really fun and unique breakfast spot. It is a tapas place which I enjoyed but this does mean that things come as they are ready rather than all at the same time. The portion sizes are small so you can get a bunch of things and share which makes it filling and the prices are super reasonable. Flavor combinations are unique and everything tastes so good. I think the churros were my favorite, so crispy and sugary with a great sauce. I was a little disappointed about the pork biscuit because it didn't quite match my expectations but it was delicious. The biscuit was more of a flat bread and it wasn't a sandwich because it was open faced. I think that's the challenge with fusion food, it is a little different than expected. If you can be open minded it's great. The last thing I'll say is they didn't do a great job of organizing the seating. There was a group of 3 seated at the only 6 person table but there were a ton of 4 person tables that were empty. My group of 7 had to wait for the 3 to be done before we could sit even though a ton of tables were open. I would go back for sure.

Yelp
My husband and I came to Palette 22, located in Shirlington, on a Saturday during brunch time. When we arrived, the restaurant looked packed, but we were seated immediately. The ambiance was artsy, from the lighting fixtures to the local artwork displayed and for sale throughout the restaurant, which I enjoyed looking at. There was a vibrant yet sophisticated crowd. Our waiter was gregarious and professional. He explained the bottomless brunch to us. My diet is limited, and my husband nor I planned to eat a lot, so we just went with several small plates. Our food came out fast and hot. I had the Brussel sprouts and southwest Caesar salad. Both dishes were flavorful and very filling. My husband had the French toast and chicken sliders, and he was pleased with his food. We ended with the Churros, they were sooo good. We had a wonderful experience, the service and food were excellent. If I ever find myself in the Shirlington area again, I will definitely be back.

Yelp
This place was amazing!! All you can eat for $32!? Every dish was delicious. And the service was great. I wish I lived here so I could come back all the time! Sorry I didn't take more pics of everything.

Sydney W.

Yelp
Food was delicious!! This is such a good place to hang out with friends and try various dishes. They even have a "bottomless dinner" option where you can order as much as you want for about $40. The pan pizza dough was really good, but the street corn flavor wasn't the best. Not pictured, but the beef empanadas, black bean hummus, and p22 cheeseburger sliders were our top 3 must haves. Service was nice and the restaurant is fun just to look around with the art all over the walls. There was even someone selling stickers that we bought from!

Yelp
This place just became one of my favorites in DC...the Chef is literally a God! I tried basically their whole menu for an event, and the way they balance spices and ingredients, as well as the combination of specific cooking techniques is soo soo delicate. I almost still feel the velvety and soft texture of the dishes in my mouth. Ingredients were so skillfully and creatively combined and harmoniously merged, that I'm not even sure if what was so smooth was texture or flavor. None of the dishes is less than excellent, which is rare to find! The ambience is so inspiring, full of art by local artists, which offers such a lively and intense touch to the rooms. Whether you're there with friends or on a date (and even on your own!), you'd be full of inspiration for your interaction, just by looking around. And last but not least...service was impeccable: everyone was welcoming, accurate, caring and attentive to our needs. I'm gonna come here over and over again. P.s. paintings are for Sale!

Yelp
Let's first start with my recommendation, which is that you come here starving lol! This is by far THE BEST bottomless brunch (food only) that I have been too. EVER-ry-THING we had was absolutely delicious and all for the total of $32. Then to add to the greatness, the drink specials with this bottomless brunch selections are only $4. If that doesn't just make you jump for joy, let's talk about the customer service by our waitress, Stacy! Stacy was beyond amazing. She checked in consistently, provided exceptional recommendations, and was also very engaging. On to the dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed... Which was basically everything we ordered and tried. Lol So, we started our journey to gluttony with the waffles and tacos, which are prepared via the waffle and taco cart. The batter for the waffles was simply divine. Then to add the additional toppings for the waffle WITH THE blueberry jam/syrup mixture (don't know what it was called)... My taste buds were over the moon! Then we had the tacos, which were great. Then came the sausage biscuit and brussel sprouts, which were scrumptious. Afterwards, we had the cheeseburger sliders, the lumpias, and empanadas, which were perfect. Each of these dishes came with sauces that further amazed our taste buds. Then there was the roasted mushroom and sweet corn flatbread which I was an absolute fan of. Lastly, there was the jerk skewers that didn't really give jerk, however, despite that, they were still good. Overall, 10/5 lol! I WILL be back!

Yelp
Stopped by this past week for dinner with some friends and had the privilege of trying so yummy foods! The portions were small in our opinions but they do offer a bottomless dinner option. (Everyone at table must participate to be eligible) A fun & unique experience!

Yelp
We have visited Palette 22 twice now over three weeks for the unlimited dinner option. It is wonderful! My wife and I loved this place so much on the first visit that we decided to bring family (including an international restaurateur/chef-consultant) visiting from Istanbul. The small plates seemed prepared-to-order and were generally delicious. The service was good and the ambiance (including an independent artist painting at the front) was great. We highly recommend: scallops (and the potato puree, for sure), chicken, beef, and cubano sliders, street corn, steak satay, and the Dan Dan options (pizza and noodles). Oh, and the dessert mousse is a hit. "The best chocolate mousse I've ever had," said one person from our party. We also had two small children in out party... good for small kids on an off night like a Sunday, but I would not recommend on a busy night. Important note: they honor their reservations, unlike another restaurant we tried to visit this weekend.

Yelp
I love this place, we live in Stafford and we never mind coming down to 22 for brunch. Each dish is worth it on the unlimited brunch menu. On Saturday we were running a little late for brunch but our server Nicolas made sure we were happy still and made us feel like we were super welcome. He is the best server. The music goes too!

Yelp
I love this place in Shirlington and regularly bring friends out for brunch whenever they're visiting from out of town (and even other parts of the DMV).

Yelp
First time at P22 in many years. We went there a long time ago when it first opened and we didn't go back. Today March 20, 2025, we sat at the bar, the place was busy Two bartenders working the bar Sat there for at least 5 minutes They walked by us and looked at us and didn't say hello, and didn't ask us what we wanted. Zero acknowledgement. Not sure why this happened. We got up and left and decided that we were never going to be acknowledged or served anything. We were looking to expand our horizons by adding P22 to our repertoire, but that was a total bust!!

Yelp
Visited palette 22 a few times. They previously had endless tapas but took that away and I wasn't very pleased. The service was ok. On busy days they take quite awhile but they're overall still very attentive. It's a fairly large restaurant with tables and a bar. They have outdoor seating as well. A good place for weekend brunch.

Yelp
Went to Palette 22 this past Saturday for a girls' brunch, and let me tell you--it did not disappoint! This was my first brunch of 2025 and my first time drinking since 2024, and let's just say... it was a time was had. You know when you tell yourself, "I'm only having one drink," and five drinks later, you're questioning all your life choices? Yeah, that was me on Saturday. The entire group agreed to the bottomless brunch, and since my party was very late, I got a head start. The bottomless brunch is $32.22 per person, and everyone at the table has to participate. In return, you get access to everything on the menu--yes, everything! We probably ordered almost every dish once and some favorites two or three times. My top picks: Street corn Jerk chicken skewers Marinated cucumbers Brussels sprouts Sliders Waffles (because, obviously!) We also took full advantage of the waffle bar and taco bar--both were solid additions to the spread. Now, about the drinks... When you hear "bottomless brunch," you assume the drinks are included, right? Wrong. They're not free, but they are heavily discounted. The included options are Bloody Marys, Bellinis, and Mimosas--we had about five drinks each, and let's just say the bill caught us a little off guard. Still, considering how much we consumed, it was very reasonable. The vibe was on point, the service was great, and the food was delicious. Plus, the location in the heart of Shirlington is super walkable, with plenty of street parking. This was my first time at Palette 22, but it definitely won't be my last. Bottomless brunch me, please!

Yelp
We came here for brunch last weekend and this place is amazing! Make sure to make a reservation because it's pretty busy. The ambiance is very fun with vibrant colors and set pieces. They also have a lot of moving parts going on at the same time which is great because it means the food that you ordered will come out quickly (for the most part). The brunch is a well oiled machine. I do recommend the all you can eat with a group of people because you can try so many different flavors. The dishes come out in batches so you might order something and have it come to your table within minutes. The standouts were the curry chicken empanadas, Dan Dan noodles, monkey bread, arroz frito con chorizo and the waffle. There is a waffle and taco bar where they make them fresh to order. Drinks are not included with brunch (apparently that's not permitted under Virginia law) though, the drinks are half off. We also ordered shrimp and grits and those took way too long. Not sure if they forgot them or if for some reason they were backed up. They were good but not worth the 30 min wait. Overall, I really enjoyed the unique Latin, Asian, Indian fusion that this place offers for brunch and would gladly come again.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars lol. It was restaurant week and my friend and I wanted to try somewhere new for brunch. We decided to try the unlimited brunch at Palette 22 and we were so surprised at how amazing it was. I don't know what we were expecting but it definitely was not this lol. We got so much food! Like wow for $32... you can pick anything on the menu plus the taco and waffle bar inside. We had 3 orders of the black bean hummus lol. It was so different and delicious. I would say the black bean hummus was my favorite menu item however I really enjoyed the jerk chicken skewers as well. The location is in the Shirlington neighborhood which has a lot of cute shops nearby. Even though on Sunday morning the restaurant was busy, the service was efficient. Will definitely be back

Yelp
Love love love!!! We came in for happy hour and had two rounds of drinks plus almost everything off the happy hour menu and a couple things to take home... $72 for two people after tax and tip. Incredible deal!!! Our favorites were the corn and mushroom flatbread, the jerk chicken skewer, the street corn, and the Brussels sprouts. So almost everything? Yeah, just get everything.
