Florida’s Hotel Selection Is Starting to Sizzle

"In the Pali world, a Palihouse is somewhat more luxurious than a budget-friendly Palihotel — though, compared to the state of the art in South Beach, you’ll find the Palihouse plenty accessible. The rooms and studios have a residential feel, and many come with kitchenettes for a bit of self-catering. They’re low-key but quite stylish, and though they avoid all the clichés of Miami hospitality design, they certainly don’t feel out of place." - Mark Fedeli

"The east coast’s first Palihouse manages to be both tucked-away and centrally located, just around the corner from the Faena in Mid-Beach. With most of its 71 rooms including kitchenettes, it’s designed to be a home away from home—if you lived in a restored Art Deco building with coral-colored walls and a perfect view of Indian Creek, that is. Like all Pali properties, this one is well-stocked with charming details, from an all-pink elevator to a tiny TV playing Ace Ventura in the lobby. During the day, take advantage of the hotel’s Beach Butler program, for which the staff will pack chairs, towels, and an umbrella along with a picnic, then shuttle you in a bespoke golf cart to whichever beach you choose. At night, order the bar’s “Falling Up” drink, which comes in an adorable puffer fish mug. (It’s meant for two, but when in Miami…)" -Ella Riley-Adams, Senior Living and Beauty Editor"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such an incredible stay at Hotel Trouvail Miami! From the moment we arrived, everything was just so smooth and welcoming. Francisco, the bartender, was not only super kind but also really informative—he gave us great tips about the area and made some fantastic drinks too! A huge shoutout to Flo and Isabella at the front desk. They were absolutely amazing to deal with—friendly, helpful, and they really went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests. The hotel itself is like a little oasis tucked away in the heart of Miami Beach. The grounds are beautifully kept, and the pool area is so relaxing and private—you honestly feel like you’re at a resort, yet you’re just a minute from the beach. Best of both worlds! What really stood out was how attentive the owners were—they kept in touch with us via text throughout our trip just to make sure we had everything we needed. That extra touch made a big difference. The prices were super reasonable, especially for the quality of service and the overall vibe. We’ll 100% be coming back and recommending this gem to anyone heading to the area. Can’t wait to return! - Emily & Billy

Amazing little boutique hotel in Miami Beach. Close to many bars and restaurants. Rooms are clean and adorable. A mere few minutes walk from the beach and the pool area is wonderful! Staff is incredible. If you get to meet the front desk host Isabella, you are in for a treat. Kind, welcoming and so much fun. Honestly she made my trip to Miami so worth it just to know her beautiful soul. I will absolutely be staying here again!

We stayed at Hotel Trouvail twice. First in early April (to scout fur a business event) and due to our positive experience staying the first time, we booked 3 rooms for 4-5 nights each, plus a 4th room for one night.||What we liked:|1. Location - well located, reasonably priced hotel, one block from the beach yet close to all the mid-beach hotspots like Faena, Edition, Palms, Soho Beach House. |2. Rooms / cost - we just needed a place to rest our heads after a busy day at work. Worked well for our needs and cost-efficient.|3. Pool & parking - my team enjoyed either using the pool after a long day or working by the pool.|4. Manager Chris was super helpful in receiving packages we needed to send for our work needs. We received everything.||Needs improvement:|Had issues with check in across the board.|1. Our first employee arrived 3 hours before us and they could not find his reservation. After sending email, they let him check in.|2. When we checked in we were placed in a room over looking a construction site where a jackhammer was operating. Fortunately they moved us after the first night. We were staying 5 nights so that first room was not feasible.|3. Next 2 employees arrived and new front desk staffer (same one who kept making mistakes) could not find their reservation at 10:45p so she told them to wait for the night manager to arrive at 11pm. He found reservation immediately and let them check in.||Overall this hotel is good but there were kinks. Would still recommend them for good price, amenities and location.

My husband and I enjoyed four nights here the end of Feb. 2025, in one of the rooms with a balcony, and used on-site parking. The breakfasts we ate (pancakes with fruit; spinach omelet) were delicious. All hotel staff (especially Florian in reception!) were always friendly and very helpful. The pool area is beautiful with pleasant music and beach chairs in both sun and shade, and the ocean beach is only a short walk away; the hotel provides towels for both. There are several dinner restaurants and a small market within reasonable walking distance, and the Miami Beach free trolley stops nearby. The surrounding area is good for getting in your walking steps, and quieter than South Beach. |I especially liked the art deco-type decor. Although the room lacked closets, there was a large clothes rack, several large drawers, and a surprisingly large safety box. The fridge was convenient. I guess the only negative comments I can make are: our streetside room was a bit noisy at night (which bothered my husband, but I slept well because the bed was so comfortable), and the illumination for the staircase was a bit too dim for my old eyes. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Miami!

Google
TLDR: if you don’t want to spend a fortune and don’t want to be IN south beach then this is a nice stay. Won’t have the ocean view but great location and nice, clean rooms. This was a very cute hotel. The location is great if you want to be close to the south beach area and action without being IN that area. There is a bus stop and Miami Beach trolley (free) stop right behind the hotel on Collins. The beach is just 2 blocks behind as well. And there’s the houses I can never afford that you can look at across the channel. Plenty of restaurants nearby too though it is lacking in souvenir shops. Those are more south beach area. The rooms were cute and beds were comfy. I loved the mini fridge they had. It was a nice size and had the small freezer part at the top with an ice tray. I feel like some places have started having really small ones that fit almost nothing. There is an elevator but it is very slow and kind of small as it’s an older one. The shower was a waterfall shower head which is nice in theory but not great for thick hair especially thick hair full of salt water. Still useable just took a bit longer due to that. They do have the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers on the walls so it’s not the tiny bottles. The staff that was there was great. Isabel and Flo I believe. They were short staffed which did make some things take a bit longer or not have the bar open at certain times. But they have just changed management and sounds like they are still working some things out from the previous management so hopefully more staff is one of the things to come. We did have an issue where our AC went out after they were working on it for other AC issues (previous management rollover again). They were able to put us in a different room with a rollout bed for the one night but it went out again late the next night. The new management did get back with us though on that issue and that was our main complaint of the stay so seems like this new management will be a good thing for the hotel! Parking! They have a small lot right behind that has a gate and leads to the pool. It is first come first serve and does cost. Not sure how often it actually does fill up but I would guess the hotel would be able to tell you next best options if it was.

The front desk employee, Mr. Jesus was welcoming, professional, and courteous. The rooms are clean and well maintained, the water in the pool was clear. They have onsite parking available at a reasonable price for the area. The food at the restaurant was great. It is a really nice boutique hotel. Our family had a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.

Google
A great hotel and amazing staff. The neighbors were pretty annoying, but I was offered a room change when I told the front desk. I didn't take it since I was leaving early, and I had no problems leaving early. I wasn't charged for the days I didn't stay. My only real complaint about the hotel is that there are no microwaves in the rooms, but the staff there are more than helpful when it comes to heating up your food. There are no bugs and a nice pool area too, as well as private parking. Definitely would be glad to come back here if I ever visit Miami again

We had a great stay (once again) at Hotel Trouvail. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. Isabella at the front desk went above to make us feel welcome and take care of us. The hidden pool amongst the Florida greenery, close to the beach, great breakfast!

Yelp
They had the friendliest staff I've ever experienced at a stay, incredible service, amazing amenities, and beautiful decor. They provided beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella and we were about a minute walk to the beach and about 2 minutes from a Starbucks! The pool and outdoor seating area was tucked away by beautiful greenery that made it feel like we were the only place in the city. There was a brief issue with our room assignment and they immediately gave us a call to our room and offered us free breakfast the next morning. It was an unforgettable stay!

Yelp
We had such a nice time here today. We rented a day room off of Resort Pass and used the room to nap and freshen up after our red eye flight. After naps I took a walk to get coffee down the street and then we walked over and swam at the beach for a bit. Lots of fun in walking distance. We ordered room service and both entrees were yummy!! Super cozy pool area was also nice. Only issue we had was parking and needing to call the office to have the gate opened both on check in and check out. May be good to give guests an access code or notice of that prior to check in. We figured it out after a quick second trip around the block but something to be aware of. Overall I'd totally stay here again. Service was great and the room was clean and cozy!

Yelp
Stayed for a few days at the Hotel Trouvail in Miami Beach with some friends. It was in a great location just a couple of blocks from the beach. The weather was beautiful running in the mid 80s in late April - can't beat that ! The front desk staff was very friendly and even had our rooms ready early. The pool area is great and like an oasis in the middle of the city. The rooms are large, but had a musty, sewer smell - reported to the front desk but nothing was done. The bar has a happy hour each day but the selection is very limited. Each room had a great size bathroom and a little kitchen area with microwave and refrigerator. The hotel design is part of the art deco and the rooms follow that pattern.

Yelp
I stayed at the hotel on Feb 27th. It is an older, charming hotel. The 1 star is for the front desk -- regardless of the time of day you call, they hardly ever pick up. My flight was delayed, so I tried to call to let them know that I would still be coming early the next morning. I had to call 5 different times to get through. And it's not a busy signal -- it just rings forever and then eventually disconnects. When I finally got through, I was told it would not be a problem that I was arriving late. Arrive at the hotel, front desk attendant has no idea how to check me in. Stood around for ages. Finally, he figured it out. Depart the next day, and I was told that they would email me a receipt. I never got the receipt, so I emailed the front desk about it. No response. I've now been calling so I can get the receipt so my Company will reimburse me -- and same thing, phone rings forever and then eventually disconnects. One time someone picked up and then immediately hung up on me.

Yelp
5 star experience! Checked in early for a short stay and our room was ready! Front desk staff was super friendly, attentive and so helpful. The weather was not the best in Miami that day so after a short walk to the beach (and Starbucks) we decided to check out the heated pool. The pool area is super cute and secluded with much natural greenery. There's plenty of seating out there and the pool is ample sized. I skipped lunch but the menu was intriguing. A hidden gem in mid beach!

Yelp
My new bride and I are doing a mini moon in Miami. It's my first time here and I love it. It was a last minute decision but were able to get a booking through my timeshare. It's conveniently located one block from the beach. Super clean rooms and lobby. Nice bar area that serves food most of the day. Some interesting choices. We got the burger with arugula. I loved it. They cooked it medium just the way I wanted. They gave a bag of chips to go with it. Loved the lime and cracked pepper. Went beautifully with the burger. The entire staff has been amazing. Very friendly and helpful whenever anything is needed. Usually check in is at 3. Our room was ready early so they allowed us to check in. If it wasn't ready they were willing to hold our bags at the front while we enjoyed the pool. This hotel cares about its guests and it shows. The pool is a beautiful area with many different types of chairs to lounge or just sit. My only complaint is the water itself. The outside is kept beautifully and well maintained. They don't seem to give the sane treatment to the water. Lots of dead bugs and debris from trees floating. I know they can't be out there constantly. I was in the pool area from 9 to 12 and nobody from the staff came to check it. I'm honestly not sure if the pump is working. Overall this is an amazing hotel in a great location. I would suggest booking if there is a vacancy.

Yelp
Palihouse is a great brand with a French Chic 1950's beach vibe. It's a classic, intimate, boutique, hotel with a classy but relaxed clientele. Location/Beach: 2 blocks to beach and close to restaurants. Just off Collins Ave along canal (which is under construction). Easy walk to beach, south on 31st street, but honestly walking over to 29th is much more pleasant. Room & Snacks: Clean, comfy with a pleasant decor. My rooms at Palihouse have a fridge full of well selected drink options (oat milk latte, various waters, juice, beer, wine, mixed and spirits. Small coffeemaker and large basket of snack options. Bathroom: Expectations matter. Please understand some rooms have a cute, full sink area outside the bathroom, read no mirror or sink in bathroom, more European . It's functional and easy to adopt to, just keep the beach, flexible vibe. I spoke to one guest who loved because they could use sink while another was in bathroom or shower. Staff: Staff always make the hotel experience, and Daniel & Florian (front desk) and Francisco (cafe bar) were professional and friendly especially while managing all the guests needs and wants on New Years! Pool: Tropical, lush, well-seated, pool with the sun peeking through. Dine by pool, relax in a lounge chair or sit with friends in some larger cushioned chairs. Coffee, Bar & Food: The main lobby has a cafe bar which also take food orders. Sit at the bar or nearby options inside or ask to be served by the pool. The quality and variety of food options is impressive, from basic fruit plate, American bfast, salads and sandwiches to local favorites - - Torrijas, Shrimp ceviche & Pan con Bistec. Coffee is great. For the price, you will be hard pressed to find a better value. If you are looking for modern, high end finish try Faena or The Edition across the street, which are also a more formal alternatives to the casual but delicious food at Palihouse. 1 Hotel is also a great brand but for these you will pay 2 to 3x as much.

Yelp
Stayed 4 nights at Trouvail while in Miami with my girlfriend. I felt location was perfect. Just north of south beach and a quick ride to other areas of Miami. Room was nice! Lobby and staff were great, specifically Flo. He got us into a room early for check in which helped us big time after a long flight. Hotel offers complementary bikes and umbrellas. Pool area was nice and cozy too. Would consider staying again when I come back to Miami.

Yelp
Stayed at the Palihouse Hotel, an art deco boutique motel that only opened shortly before the pandemic. While it wasn't on the ocean side, it was a short 2 block walk to the beach. And I was blessed with a great view of the creek from a top floor room, a view that was amazing to wake up to every day. Loved the combo of retro decor plus modern bathrooms. The pool was beautiful- where I had my breakfast every day & some post beach "unwinding." And though short staffed, the service from Brian, Florian, Francisco & Alex was phenomenal- made me feel like a special guest with individualized attention and quickly addressed any minor concerns! My only recommendation is that hopefully they can soon replace the hallway carpets which smell musty (room was great though- tile flooring best for the beach!). And to have more food available after 3pm, instead of just light bar snacks.

Yelp
We stayed here the weekend before the Grand Prix and had a very average stay. We did not have any billing discrepancies like other Yelpers described. The pool area looked beautiful, although the pool was too hot during the day for comfortable swimming. There also wasn't any bar service that we encountered, even though there's a stand with liquor located outside. They just never had anyone manning it. The room itself should've been great as it had a balcony and was a corner unit, but it felt pretty old and dark. There was a smoke detector that was going off our entire time too so we had to put in headphones. The staff were extremely inconsistent about hotel policies. Some had us put down our credit cards for food and drink, others said we could charge it to the room, and one didn't even print us any sort of receipt to sign and said it would be handled. Also, the coffee drinks were made incorrectly each time. If we asked for cream with your coffee they kept steaming it and pouring it directly into the drip like a cafe au lait. The flat white was also bizarre, kind of like a burnt cappuccino. The location is amazing. It's close to the water and far enough away from the craziness of south beach for privacy. If you want drinks and the company of others, walk to the freehand down the street. Everything here was really clean and the outside was beautiful, but we'd probably check out a different hotel next stay.

Yelp
Not 24/7- closed before 11 on Saturday night. Also, they have no water for their guests-- pretty brutal for thirsty travelers. Coffee is bad, pool is lame -- this is a bare minimum go eff yourself hotel for Miami Beach Nice pillows I guess

Yelp
So I did a thing! My first visit back to Miami post covid.. Since I was staying solo, I decided to stay somewhere new and I chose Palihouse based off of the reviews on yelp! And Babyyyyyy, it did not disappoint!!!! Early check in after a way to early flight thanks to Daniel. Accommodations and Hospitality were everything!!! Sabi was awesome I felt like I had my own studio apartment in Miami. Also, the pool was very intimate and sexy..I definitely will be back! This is my new go to when visiting Miami. I highly recommend Palihouse

Yelp
This is a quaint little hotel located just off of the beach in Miami. The entire hotel has a classic retro look right down to the bathroom hardware in your room. There is a small bar in the main floor, and a cute little swimming pool area to hang out at with your cocktail! The staff are all extremely nice and helpful. Upon arrival our room was double booked and we were immediately given an upgraded room and a company free breakfast without issue! The location is ok, it's off of a main street but there is a lot of construction going on right now which made it difficult to access the hotel. There is also minimal parking in front of the hotel and you have to pay for it. I would suggest using Uber as opposed to a rental car in the area. There is minimal parking in and around Miami Beach and most of it you have to pay for. I got a rental car and regretted getting it. We ended primarily using Uber. Our room was really nice (check out my pictures), clean and well maintained . The rooms are all primarily studios but large enough for two to spend a week there comfortably. We had a small kitchenette which worked out perfectly. They have room service which was good but a little slow. All in all this is a hidden little jewel due to the style, location and pricing.

Yelp
I give Palihouse 5 stars! Their service was over the top! I stayed here this past weekend and felt right at home. This hotel Is small and quant and has a lot of character. I loved how quiet and private the hotel is and the location is perfect! There is local construction going on around the hotel, however that did not hinder my friend and I from enjoying ourselves. The staff made sure to let us know what was going on and guided us through the confusion. All the staff were super attentive and made it their mission to make sure you were enjoying yourself. Florian, the front desk supervisor is the bomb! He was kind and went above and beyond for us. I can go on and on about this hotel. I will definitely return and I HIGHLY recommend you stay at this cute hotel. Btw, the rooms are beautiful and well kept. Everything was squeaky clean and they give you robes to use while you're there.

Yelp
Miami Beach at Palihouse was such a wonderful experience!! The lobby and rooms felt like a 1950s movie moment. I wish I had pictures! The Mediterranean aesthetic with different colors and textures made the room feel so cozy and pleasing. The pool area was so neat and homey. My friends and I had such a peaceful time by the pool. And my favorite part, their SERVICE! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Shoutout to Alex at the bar and Alisher in management for making sure my friends and I were satisfied. Love Palihouse! I'll totally go back.

Yelp
Love this place! Been here twice and enjoy myself every time!! The vibe is on point! The music is good!! The food is AMAZING! They even have a bbq at the poolside on the weekends!! My favorite dish from the bbq is the chicken sandwich.

Yelp
incredible boutique hotel!! the staff are amazing and i regret not remembering their names to give each one a special mention!! i cant say enough good things about each of them! if you need ANYTHING at all they'll go above and beyond for you! they give the rest restaurant recommendations and things to do. okay so about the hotel: it's so picturesque! the rooms are aesthetic, incredible views of palm trees out the window, they give you free beach chairs to borrow, you can use free bikes and they have a ride to and from the beach you can use. i think i also overheard that there's parking for $25 a night (could be wrong, but that's a pretty good/cheap price in my opinion!!) they have excellent poolside service. you can order food and drinks to your room or to the pool. they have free beach/pool towels you can borrow. we were there memorial day weekend and they had a cookout! just a couple bucks for hot dogs, ribs, potato salads and so much more! drinks are pricey but so yummy! ($20 for a poolside mojito- def worth it tho!!). i'm obsessed with how cute the hotel is! it's small and intimate, i like you can chat with people by the pool for a few days and recognize faces. feels like a community. there was construction going on on the streets surrounding the hotel while we were there which caused lots of traffic so ubering was a bit much sometimes, but overall didn't ruin our experience! i will absolutely stay here again next time i'm in miami!!!!!

Yelp
My new favorite beach hotel. I've stayed twice now. The most charming French country theme hotel. Sweet pool surrounded by striped chaises. Bar and food service provided. Highly recommend. The staff is also lovely and friendly. All of the rooms are set up a little differently. Some have roof top patios. I can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots for breakfast or brunch! The ambiance in both the lobby or out by the pool is so charming, with an art deco or mid century vibe. The food is delicious (my fav is the avocado toast with a poached egg on top, and some fresh-squeezed orange juice). But what I really love is the service! If you're lucky enough to go on a day when Francisco is working, he provides the type of service you usually only get at a Michelin star restaurant. Very classy, fine-dining royal treatment...he even remembers what you like to order when you visit multiple times! Thank you Francisco for making me feel so at home and valued!

Yelp
Very clean, lovely, and well maintained hotel with a number of areas to lounge around including the pool space. Check-in was so easy upon arriving. My husband and I enjoyed staying at our corner room with double windows. Florian at the front desk was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay - Thank you! We will come back for sure.

Yelp
We had a lovely stay on very short notice at this cool retro style hotel. Staff was amazing, rooms were well appointed and very clean, beds were comfortable, pool area was so lovely. Some of the amenities included were wonderful like bikes, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. My only complaint is how thin the ceiling and walls are, we could hear people above us.

Yelp
We loved our stay at Palihouse! It's a very clean and quirky hotel. The decor was to die for very original, the Pool are was stunning you felt as if you were in paradise. The hotel was a 5 minute walk to the beach which was a huge plus for us. The front desk provides you with beach chairs, umbrellas and towels, just ask on your way out. Their breakfast burrito was delicious, fresh and healthy which we appreciated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Flo at the front desk was very kind and friendly. This hotel is truly a hidden gem. I love the retro Miami look. The beds were comfortable one of the best night sleeps I've had. I love how the hotel is incorporating different activities everyday to engage the guest, loved this it made it feel like a resort stay. I truly loved this hotel and can't wait to visit again

Yelp
Hotel Nightmare! Patrons BEWARE! I didn't even last 24 hours in this dump. As soon as I arrived, I walked into a hotel room filled with hair everywhere and in every single room. One strand of hair, fine. Two strands of hair, I might even be able to look past. But it was almost enough hair to construct a wig, so I kindly asked the concierge if they could send housekeeping back up to my room--which he promptly did. Anyway, I left the hotel for a few hours to sightsee and get drinks, and when I returned to my room, I was met with an unsightly, unwanted guest. A massive COCKROACH. Now, I used to live in Georgia. I get it. The warm weather and humidity can beckon all types of insects and wildlife, but the last place I want to see them is in my hotel room, where I plan to lay my head a few days. I hadn't even unpacked my things yet so I know for a fact, it didn't come from my belongings. When I all but fled back to the front desk to let them know, the concierge didn't seem moved in the slightest. As a matter of fact, he was quite nonchalant about the matter--almost as if this is a natural occurrence for them, despite telling me otherwise. After being told that I would be refunded--which I haven't been as of yet--I hastily called up an Uber and departed. On my way out of the door, I wasn't even given a simple, sincere apology. You would think the smallest gesture they could do is give a "our apologies for the inconvenience. We still hope you can enjoy Miami." After all, this occurred at 10 pm and I was forced to check into another hotel in my PJs. I will never return here. Not even if someone paid me to. The customer service is a joke. The roach-ridden rooms are a joke. And these 5 star reviews for this place is the biggest joke of all.

Yelp
I rated this way not because of the physical property. It is nice. But I do NOT appreciate the headache I've endured with them overcharging me. I prepaid for my stay and my receipt CLEARLY outlines the nightly charges AND that my resort fees and taxes were included. All of the desk associates acknowledged that. YET no one could figure out how NOT to charge me over $100 again for resort fees. They lied and said I wouldn't be charged, pretended to have printer issues to avoid giving me a receipt, said they'd email the receipt and assured me Florian, the desk manager would get back to me and resolve the issue. It's been a week and they haven't done anything. I've called 5 times to speak with Florian and they are never available. I want my money back.

Yelp
Comfortable with a great staff. Right axis the street from the free trolley that gets you down to south beach in 5 minutes. On the canal and a couple of blocks from the beach. Secured parking.

Yelp
Although my stay was short it was definitely pleasant. One or two things could have been better, but the overall scene of this hidden gem won me over. Rooms, lobby, and pool are just as depicted on the website. It's a little ways from the main scene on ocean drive, but the hotel offers bikes if you'd like to ride down to 10th st. They also offer complimentary transportation to and from the beach nearest to them. Could've been better: -Ramps or something could be added the sidewalks to facilitate guest entry. I had to jump a giant puddle to get from the street onto the side walk and ended up soaking my shoes. Although the manager/front desk attendant assisted in drying in and delivered to my room, the incident in itself could've been avoided to better serve their guest. -Once in the lobby there was no one at the registration desk. A few formally dressed men were in the lobby and there was no way to know who worked the desk or was an employee there. After 2/3 minutes of standing at the desk the manager/FD attendant finishes the conversation with a woman and walks over. I felt unimportant because I wasn't acknowledged until after he finished his conversation. Perhaps my expectations are high, however I work at a 5star property and our main form of guest retention is quality customer service. -Lastly as I was getting ready a few friendly critters showed up by the sink/minibar area. There were a few ants and the more I got rid of them the more they seemed to appear. I called FD and it seems they only have one staff member on property after 5pm and stated it would be a few minutes before he could come up to the room. They ended up spraying raid all around the sink area and I asked to have the floor around the bed sprayed too. In conclusion, a few hiccups I'm sure will be addressed, but overall a descent stay. I look forward to staying with them in the future.

Yelp
I recommend this hotel to any professional great family that we want to just get away and relax and enjoy a small little boutique hotel with all the great amenities. The staff was amazing so genuine and nice and real, the food was delicious the drinks were amazing the pool area was so nice and relaxing. And you're only a three minute walk to the beach, which I did this morning and watch the sunrise.

Yelp
The hotel is beautiful!! Very -instagrammable-. The rooms are comfortable and nice. You can tell a lot of work was put into the place to make each and every corner truly perfect. The staff was super friendly, specially Daniel who completed any of our requests perfectly! Some of the photos made me think the hotel had access to the beach. Even if this is not true, it's only about 2 blocks away, and you can even ask for the hotel staff to take you to it in a beautiful beach car! We had some issues with the cleanliness in the beginning, but the staff immediately solved them by changing us to a better room. The music from the pool area can be heard in certain rooms from the first floor, so definitely consider asking for a room in a higher level if you want to avoid it.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place and thinking of making it my personal hotel spot every time I visit. The decor is like you we're transferred into the 1960/1970 luxury house. Every area is a new experience and plenty of photo options within the hotel. The service from start of the trip to the end was phenomenal. Morning and night shift both were very pleasant. Kenny was so helpful. It was as if the hotel was his house and we were his house guess. The shower light was on a 1 minute timer so it would cut off in the middle of taking a shower. As soon as I notified Kenny he immediately took care of it. There is no need to rent a car to get to the beach because it's within walking distance, but guess what you don't have to walk. The hotel has a service to where the attendant will drive you to the beach in a mini wrangler and give you chairs and umbrella. This is a long review and I haven't even told you about the BED. Lawd the beds there are like clouds that you sink into. The room itself is spacious and so clean. The cleaning requirements were phenomenal. Room remains vacant for 3 days every time a guest checks out just to allow them time to do a deep clean Cons -not much of a view from the window and the people across could see into our room - bathroom lights were on a short timer at first but it can be fixed - elevator super tiny multiple trips will need to be made if you have a lot of luggage - I enjoyed it too much and will probably spend wayyy too much money by frequently returning just to stay here

Yelp
[Update]: I just want to update my review to say that the credit has hit my account as of yesterday 10/8 after speaking to the hotel manager on Thursday 10/7. Had I not called on Thursday, I would never have received that $100 added "for incidentals" whatsoever. Please beware and pay close attention to what is being charged to you, and whether or not the charges are authorized/legit.

Yelp
Fantastic boutique hotel in perfect location in Miami Beach. Relaxed, more mature vibe than many of the bigger name hotels nearby. If you want to party by the pool with loud music, this isn't the place. If you want attentive/friendly service, delicious food, gorgeous pool area, and stylish rooms, Palihouse has it in droves. The poolside was so relaxing it was often difficult to pull ourselves away and actually see the rest of Miami! Also shoutout to Manuel D. for being a fantastic server the whole time we were there.

Yelp
Very cute and quaint hotel with reasonable. Pricing. Overall a nice experience but definitely could have been better. Food is only available until 3pm which is a bummer, and bar snacks were supposed to be available from 3-9 but when we asked they said they first said they don't have any and then when we asked again they said they only have 1 option available. But the quality was pretty good and creme brulee was delicious. Front desk staff was extremely helpful and nice. When we arrived it took about an hour past check in for our room to get ready but they gave us free drink vouchers and held our bags so we sat by the pool. We ran into a lot of issues with room keys not working so we had to keep running down and getting new ones. The room itself was very nice and beds were very comfortable. Fridge didn't work very well but that wasnt a huge problem. Bathroom door didn't lock which also didn't bother us but could be a safety issue. Loved that we came back every day after lunch to a clean room. Pool was a bit dissapointing. I'm a big fan of swimming/hanging out in the pool and this one didn't really have much space to do either, especially if there were a couple other people in it. Really liked that we could rent bikes and chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Be aware that there is a daily room fee (not sure what for) in addition to everything else.

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the stay here!!! Wanted to stay somewhere without a commercial feel for a birthday trip with my boyfriend in Nov. 2021. It was our first trip together somewhere and I wanted the hotel to have a romantic vibe and this hotel delivered. The front desk staff Florian and Daniel were soooooo kind, warm, open, helpful and considerate. I am a guest with a LOT of needs lol, I always seem to need more shampoo or towels or coffee in the hotel room and Florian and Daniel were TOTALLY patient/kind/understanding and made me feel comfortable being needy! Also loved the ride in the hotel buggy convertible to the beach. Cannot say enough about the staff. Also the bartender was amazing -- shoot his name is escaping me right now but he was so funny and kind. 100% recommend this hotel!!!

Yelp
This place is pretty nice. The vibe is cool. The outside seating for the pool is really nice. The staff is also nice, never had any problems while staying here. Our room was cute. Snacks in the room were expensive so they got left in the basket untouched! . Hard floods in the room thank god; I hate carpet in hotel rooms! Also I liked how they had their own parking connected the hotel, so you dont have to pay for parking every single night! I would stay here again!!

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Great atmosphere- it's clear a lot of thought went into making it cute. The staff is very attentive and thoughtful. One concierge offered us his own cash when we didn't have any so we could tip another staff member, and another accommodate us to check out late. Food and drinks were great. I've been in hospitality for a long time and truly appreciate the attention to detail here! Highly recommend

Yelp
I love palihouse and the staff running it. The hotel was! Perfect location. Right next to all the action but it's totally quiet in the rooms and feels very private and calm in the public areas, which was very important to us as we were traveling with our 1yr old son. I have never felt so comfortable at a hotel, and I greatly credit the staff with that. Sarinya and the wait staff were awesome. Kenneth and the gm(didnt catch his name) were not only friendly and sociable, but made special accommodations for us since we had a baby and a crib. The ocean is only a block away. The pool is always warm and absolutely beautiful! Having a private gated parking lot was very nice. Our flight home got canceled, so we decided to stay a few extra days. Didnt even consider another hotel. On such short notice we had to change rooms, but they got us into another beautiful room and moved all our belongings to it. I will stay at palihouse again next time I'm in miami. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I'm going to give this boutique hotel four stars for the following reason 1. Construction causing great difficulty on arrival and all guests should be informed . 2. Expresso Machine was defective with no attempt to correct in room until departure next day3. The bar closed early at 10 pm with the bartender expressing her desire to go home. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. The bed was so comfortable and shower was exceptional. Staff was very accommodating. Nancy A. Boca Raton, Florida

Yelp
Fantastic stay! Well-appointed, hip and trendy room. Beautiful lobby. Super comfy bed. Outstanding service from staff-- Tommy, Allen, Preston, Matt, Adrianna and Roger provided for all our needs, and always in a friendly, professional manner. Great location- close to beaches, restaurants, and entertainment. Great breakfast offered. Nice pool and outdoor area. Off-street parking available which I recommend! We intend on returning, and soon!

Yelp
My friends and I really enjoyed Palihouse Miami Beach!!! The food and drinks are amazing and Francisco T made it all worth while. Francisco was always there to help and was very kind. He makes the best drinks and takes the best pics. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved Palihouse in Miami! It is such a cute, aesthetically pleasing, and charming hotel, that I wanted to hang out in my room all day! I stayed during a storm so luckily I was in a great place with a convenient and quiet location, and with a super nice staff. I stayed in the suite for a 3 day trip to Miami and loved the hotel, despite a rainy trip. I highly recommend! I also ended up buying the awesome robes they have and sell!

Yelp
We were greeted by Florián at check. He was very friendly, informative and welcoming. He was the friendliest front desk/concierge person. Other than the young woman who greeted us late one evening. We were able to check in a little early, which was awesome. The room overall was clean and neat. We stayed in the Deluxe Studio King. I'm not sure if that is the same as the Grand Studio King, which is what I reserved, but the space was comfy. The room did have very small ants around the balcony door, under the window and entry door. They came and sprayed twice during our stay. We ordered food while there. Very small portions and definitely overpriced. The food was decent. Like the rest of SOBE, they added an 18% automatic gratuity. The A/C leaked, which caused a damp, mildewy smell. We put a towel down and bought a Febreze small space to help with the smell. The bed was comfy, not as firm as I prefer. The pool are and lobby were always clean and inviting. The elevator was very small. The housekeeping staff were attentive and friendly. Overall, I would stay again. I'm extremely picky about cleanliness, and Palihouse met my expectations. I would stay again. Thank you for the making our mini vacay a pleasant experience during COVID.

Yelp
Clean, bright, retro style, quite funky and nice! Overall quality of the room was great! Bright lighting with dimming capability, a queen size bed with a comfortable and well constructed mattress that allowed my light-sleeper spouse to continue sleeping even when I would get in and out of bed. Only downer was a less than adequate sound barrier of our bedroom head wall that allowed us to hear the incessant snoring of our neighbor in the next room. Heard nothing from our neighbors any other night. A kitchenette with a retro style microwave and fridge and a complimentary Nespresso machine (with pods) in the room. Large bathroom with a rain style shower head but with no hand wand The staff were warm, attentive and the main young gal at the front desk was a real star! Sorry we didn't get her name. She made the place feel hip and happening, warm and caring. Felt like I was back in a hotel in wine country (Sonoma Valley) California. Complimentary bicycles were great too! Reasonably priced lot parking at the hotel was another valuable perk, especially considering how central and ideal the location is in south beach! Overall a great stay and looking to return!

Yelp
This place was very nice. Felt like I was at home in my bedroom. The service was Fantastic. Francisco was amazing he remembered my face and what type of coffee I wanted every morning. Also Justin was amazing as well very helpful and friendly and attentive. I recommend this place highly very close to the beach and within walking distance.

Yelp
We've come down here from NYC which of course has a covid safe and very high standard. We've stayed here 3 times since covid began and we have had absolutely wonderful experiences every time. The staff, especially Antonio at the front desk, has been so great and welcoming each and every time we have come. Though this has been a challenging time for all Palihouse has gave us a place to relax and feel safe and taken care of. We'll continue to come back and appreciate the hospitality warmth and cleanliness of the Palihouse the staff and management. Thank you guys.

Yelp
Listen, the place is cute. Very instagrammable, nice pool, kitschy design, friendly staff. As a hotel? Absolutely not. The walls are PAPER thin. You can hear the conversation, showers, toilet, etc. in the neighboring room. The doors are constantly slamming every 4 seconds because whoever designed this place didn't think to install soft close hotel room doors. Plan to get absolutely no sleep; I was constantly woken up by people simply walking and dropping things upstairs (I'm not a light sleeper). When I went to the front desk at 2am to have them tell the room to shut the hell up, no one was working the front desk. I waited for 20 minutes to no avail. And yes--there are so many hidden charges for amenities so be sure to keep track of what you were initially quoted and take photos of what you did not use in the room. I'm already expecting to have to major problems during check out tomorrow. Two stars for close beach access and decent hotel food/drinks.

Yelp
Cool hotel! Just opened a year ago I believe. Bed was extremely comfortable. Pool area is cozy and surrounded by pretty, tropical trees. Lobby/bar area has a cool vibe. (Could have a guest microwave somewhere in building though.) Close to the beach. Tommy, the evening, front-desk host, is the best.

Yelp
Palihouse was an absolute treat! The staff was so incredibly nice. Kenneth at the front desk- a gem! Make sure you get the cappuccino (we did before going out and in the morning after haha) The rooms were so cute. Loved the old fashion frig and little sitting area. The pool was relaxing and the lobby and hotel bar were decorated beautifully. Have to say my favorite though, was the hotel robes - we literally wore them our entire stay! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cool hotel just a short Uber from South Beach. Has private parking and even a little car to take you to the beach with beach chairs! Until next time Palihouse -we will be back!

Yelp
A friend and i happened by this out-of-the-way location. We noticed the cute completely EMPTY bar inside. Within seconds an unfriendly man came to secure the entrance and ask what did we want? We said you have a nice bar to which he replied "it's only for guests". Adorable. But Miami Beach is basically a covid ghost town, and we residents like to support local businesses when possible. I'm sorry for the staff and the owners, that neighborhood consumers are barred from this place. I, and my friends, have potential hotel visitors and, being in the Miami Beach service industry have the ability to recommend and frequent local haunts. Sorry, this is a MISS!

Yelp
Very nice hotel. It's cute and perfect for a little getaway. The beach is walking distance. The best thing about the hotel was the customer service, Alex and Francisco were the best and very attentive. Definitely will be coming back.
