We got the fried chicken sandwich- I forget what it was called on the menu, and fish and chips for 2 people. For once! Normal sized portions and we could both finish our meal. Everything tasted great and fresh, the fries were super crispy, and the vibe of the restaurant was laid back and relaxed although they seemed quite busy.

I love a good Mom and Pop restaurant and Palisades Eatery did not disappoint us. We needed some fuel to combat the several glasses of wine we enjoyed at our tasting at Myriad Cellars. Easy to order at the counter and instructed to grab a seat and they would bring out our lunch. My wife and I split the Italian Sandwich, bought some chips and opted for water. The sandwich was outstanding and big enough to satisfy even when split. Service was fast and friendly and water was cold and plentiful. Bonus was our ability to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. Our visit to Palisades Eatery was nothing short of 5 stars. This will be our stop when tasting wine in Calistoga.

I had a takeout dinner from here and it was excellent. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, tritip sandwich, tempura brussel sprouts, and potato chive and bacon pizza. Everything was delicious! The sandwiches were very rich and the rolls they came on weren’t overly tall, it was a perfect bread to meat ratio. The brussel sprouts had a wonderful pairing sauce and were crispy without being overcooked. My only note is that they are beer battered, not tempura, but they are great anyways. The pizza was unique and tasty, if you enjoy potatoes it is worth a try! I would recommend this place if you are looking for a spot for lunch or if you’re in the mood for a casual dinner.

The food tasted like it was all reheated in a microwave. The pizza for example still looked cold, it was heated but again tasted like microwave pizza. The brussel sprouts definitely also tasted reheated. The kitchen is right nearby the dining area. We didn't even hear anything being fried or baked. At least the staff was nice but I do not recommend this place.

We had an amazing experience here! The service was absolutely top notch, the food was incredible— we ordered a big n tasty and a highly recommended calzone, chocolate cake, and wine. It was an unforgettable experience. The only thing that I can’t remember is the name of the owner or manager who was so awesome and attentive (maybe Angela? I’m so sorry I forgot 😬). She clearly takes pride in her work and loves what she does. It was a great atmosphere and I would highly recommend!!!

Food a bit high priced for the casual setting. Service definitely below par. No instructions were given when we ordered. For instance: go get the soda you paid for from the cooler. Or, when bringing our fries, would have been nice to let us know she would be right back with ketchup. One of the few times I would have not given a generous tip. But, you pay when you order and that's when we tipped. Good food. Generous vegetarian menu. Atmosphere could be improved and the server we had was almost rude she was so unfriendly and had so little to say.

What a great place to eat. Food is delicious! I got fish and chips & my wife got the chicken wrap. We both loved it. Owner was very kind and pleasure to chat with. Definitely a must if your looking for affordable good tasting food !!
