Google
The Palisades Farmers Market is a small neighborhood run farmers market that is open year round on Sundays from 9am-1pm. It's on the main strip of the Palisades next to the old Safeway (that just closed) and 7th Hill Pizza and Black Coffee. There are a handful of vendors that sell herbs, fresh produce, baked goods, paella, and even crepes. It's the perfect spot to not only have breakfast, buy groceries, but also to say hi to a neighbor!

Great Market with a wide variety of products that are fresh and local. You can get fresh never frozen meats from a farmer. A huge variety of produce grown locally. As well as cheese, bread, salmon, mushrooms, beef jerky, pickles, and more! Come check it out.

Business as usual, and nary an indication of the damage and power outages affecting many parts of the DC metro area following the previous night's freak storm.

This is a first class farmer's market. Extremely high quality, fresh produce. Baked goods. The freshest and widest variety of mushrooms you've ever seen. Farm fresh eggs. Fresh cut flowers. Honey. Cheese. It's really amazing! And yet it feels homey and local.

I frequent this market on Sundays for the fresh croissant, bagel, and sausage stands! The crepe stand is a must! Go early, some stalls sell out quickly. Great local market, Sundays only. Food products only, no crafts etc.

If your in the area and or are willing to make the trip, it’s worth it. The pickle stand is just out of this world good especially the carrots and the fermented radish. The veggie and fruits are also top, plus you can get delicious olive bread.

Fresh produce, meats, flowers... even dog treats! We've become quite dependent on this market, and it always proves dependable

Google
Mid sized year round farmers market with good prices and a good selection! Not a lot of food on site, but some good options have recently started coming, and plenty near by

Yelp
Gourmet but limited selection of vendors from 9am-1pm on Sundays. Today's temperature was below freezing so there were only about 15 vendor tents today. Convenient because they're all in one place. Many vendors allow the option to pre-order (we pre-ordered dim sum and bulk apples and pears) then simply pick up. The full vendor list is on the Palisades farmers market website. You can also just show up and buy on the spot. Everyone was wearing masks, keeping 6 feet distance, and a COVID protocols sign was clearly posted. Here's what we bought today: Assorted dim sum from Chinese Street Market DC. Homemade baos and shu mai and bing. They're frozen so you need to cook them (15 mins) in a skillet at home. Their "pork belly and sticky rice shu mai" was the most flavorful and satisfying I've ever had--a must order if you like dim sum! Assorted pastries (raspberry tart, yum), individual cakes, croissants, and other baked goods from Patisserie Poupon in Georgetown. They had a varied selection laid out on display. Arrive early for the best selection. Sausages and meatballs (all frozen, and pre-packaged) from Stachowski, a butcher in Georgetown. There were 3 other vendors selling meat. Fuji apples and brown pears, sold by the 2 or 3 lb bag, from Kuhn Orchard. The apples and pears have a thin coat of wax on them but I wish they were unwaxed. Apples are crispy, not mealy!

Yelp
Not a great market - this is a small market and doesn't have a wide selection of vendors. Only about a dozen or so that sell mostly produce. The produce isn't very good. Interestingly enough, there is a vendor for candles and another one promoting Asian Kennedy shows. I recommend purchasing the biscotti - enjoyed the bag of the chocolate pistachio biscotti. Nice and crunchy! As a tip, freeze the biscotti. For a larger selection of vendors (30+), I recommend driving an extra 15 minutes and going to the Falls Church market on Saturdays. Their selection of produce, prepared food, popsicles, lemonades is more impressive. City Hall Parking Lot 300 Park Ave. Falls Church, VA 22046 http://www.fallschurchva.gov/farmersmarket

Yelp
It is a local jewel and a favorite Sunday ritual. My family has gotten to appreciate the difference it makes to eat locally sourced produce. One gets spoiled by the availability of beautiful vegetables freshly picked at nearby farms. We have gotten to know the farmers and other vendors and have great respect for their work. It is a particular treat to be guided by what the seasons bring. Winter offers mysterious root vegetables that my family now eats with great delight. Spring and summer offers an embarrassment of riches: you have never seen more glorious flower arrangements than those at Andrea's stall from Lynnvale Farms.

Yelp
This was a fun farmer's market to come across. It is small and doesn't have a ton of vendors like the Dupont Circle market but it does have some nice finds. We got some local brats from Stachowsky, paella, and delicious pickles. There were some other products I wanted to try and am excited to check out next time. My two favorite items were the brats and the pickles - I still have some and want more. I wasn't the biggest fan of the paella, it just didn't do it for me generally but also there was a handover on who was serving out the platters and we got jipped (sad) so that didn't help my hanger. Hopefully they pay more attn to that in the future! Go check out this cute little farmers market that hasn't exploded and is still local and intimate. .

Yelp
Garners Producer LLC Cashier, seemed out of it and confused, taking items off scale then putting same items on scale, all the while promising she had cleared the earlier subtotals. . Upon returning home i discovered i had been charged twice for 6 items. Annoying. Too far to drive back for a refund.

Yelp
Why bother? Show up at the V Street entrance to be told "you have to start at the MacArthur Boulevard entrance first, you can't start here." WTF? There are 2 sides to the market, with ropes and stanchions keeping the sides apart. How does it matter which side I begin on? So, behind the market, we trudge down to MacArthur, noticing that most - a vast majority - of the stalls have zero customers and there are no people moving between the stalls. OK, get to MacArthur and there's a line of 26 people to enter. Again, WTF? This market is sadly mismanaged and, worse, there's not much to offer anyway. We left and went to a far more pleasant experience at Norman's well-stocked market on Massachusetts Avenue in Bethesda.

Yelp
Palisades Farmers Market has a good mix of goods to offer, it is a true neighborhood gem. I not only shop my weekly routine of eggs, produce, pastry, fresh bread, meat, chicken and sausages and pickles, there is always a good selection of flowers and artisans. compost collection is one of my must go reasons. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This small market really has the best of everything. I look forward to coming here every Sunday to enjoy the low key, small town atmosphere and delicious goods. Must try - Gloria's salsa, cherry turnovers.

Yelp
I come here almost every Sunday and the market is open year-round (from 9 am - 1 pm). It's the perfect size and has a little bit of everything including new vendors coming in once and a while. Some of my favorite vendors are Atwaters bakery, Stachowski for sausage and charcuterie, Happy Hen for eggs, Groffs Content for meat, the pickle folks, and all the fruit and veggie stands. The market has a real community feel and everyone is very friendly. I get all my fresh food here and then pop over next door to Safeway for non-food items.

Yelp
Great farmer's market. Really happening for a relatively small market. Still huge diversity in vendors and the Belgian waffles are amazing. We got some great fish and veggies and made a great dinner out of it. Having just moved in to the Palisades, I'm so glad this farmer's market is here and that we are supporting local farmers. Props to the Palisades and the organizers of this market!

Yelp
We've made this a Sunday morning ritual, and our meals, wallet, environment, and souls are better for it.
