World class steakhouse! I’m a chef and I have eaten at all the best steakhouses in NYC. Palladino’s is at the Top of the list! If you love steak, you must come. Chef Sam Hazen is a legend and his food is spectacular. Don’t miss the trolley Prime rib! Insanely delicious. Awesome service! Historic space!

Went with close friends here yesterday and from the moment you walk in you are already greeted and seated just as fast. Many thanks to the Manager Marc he's the best Shout outs to Chef Chris and Chef Sam Hazen for the food you know everything is going to be good when even the salad is on point everything was amazing. (you guys are amazing again) One of the best waiters high recommend is Lee. He was very attentive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the menu along with questions we had about them. He provided excellent recommendations and ensured we were taken care of through the starters and dessert (thank you all for your hospitality). Here's a picture of what we all got from the menu

Best dining out experience I’ve had in a long time. Our server, Jesus, was attentive and made excellent menu recommendations, including beautiful wine pairings that perfectly complemented our meals. Chef Sam personally stopped by our table a couple of times to check in, which made the experience feel very special. We also had some great conversations with him about the food and the inspiration behind the dishes. The menu strikes a great balance between creative new ideas and well-executed classics. We sat in the steakhouse section, which had a warm, elegant atmosphere with a great view of the bustling halls of Grand Central. A wonderful dining experience all around.

In full honesty wasn’t my first choice for a reservation but WOW I am sure glad this evening happened. I have already scheduled a revisit! Let’s start with the service. Over the top. Amazing. Unreal. True team effort but absolute call out to Eliah. She is an absolute professional. She made the evening stellar. Above and beyond. GM Marc also a true gem. Checked on every table and there was no task beneath him. He was doing whatever he needed to do to ensure the guests were happy and left satisfied. Again, true team effort starts at the top. I was also fortunate enough to meet Mr Palladino himself. Wishing him continued success as his attention to detail is obvious everywhere. Food. Everything was absolutely incredible. Meatball, onion bloom, cream spinach, NY Strip (cooked absolutely to perfection) snapper and sea bass with steamed veggies in a bag. I can’t speak highly enough about the flavors and again, attention to detail. How about your choice of three different steak sauces?! Lived each one almost equally. Lastly the hummingbird cake? Seriously? Could this have gone any better? Pictures do not do this place justice. Absolutely gorgeous setting and Me Palladino you’ve outdone yourself. Absolutely counting the minutes to our revisit!!

Google
A perfect restaurant The service is incredible (ask for Brian!) and the food is amazing - with both classic and unique options. The unique items are fun but their classic (like burger, pasta, and blossoming onion) have truly been perfected! The drinks are also great and at $19 each are a great price for a quality drink You definitely don’t feel like you’re in a commuter hub. What a fantastic spot!!!

Google
From start to finish, our experience at Palladino’s was nothing short of outstanding. We started with the steak and egg sushi roll, which was as creative as it was delicious – a perfect balance of flavor and texture that set the tone for the rest of the meal. For mains, we enjoyed the “92” bone-in New York strip and the filet steak. Both were cooked to absolute perfection – beautifully seared on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth tender inside. Without exaggeration, this was the best steak we have ever had. The mashed potatoes were rich, buttery, and simply to die for, while the french fries were crisp, golden, and perfectly seasoned. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the personal touch from Chef Sam Hazen. He took the time to sit with us, share stories about his culinary journey, and talk through the inspiration behind the dishes. It made the evening feel incredibly warm and memorable – an experience that went far beyond just great food. If you’re looking for a place that delivers exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and genuine hospitality, Palladino’s at Grand Central is it. We’ll absolutely be returning soon.

Visiting nyc or want to bring friends/family to an unforgettable dinner? Run don’t walk to Palladinos, chef Sam Hazen knocked it out of the park with this food. The food is phenomenal, the steak, the pomodoro pasta, veggies and veggie sushi - all with such a delicious unique flavor, set in the iconic grand central station! I will be back many more times.

Yelp
We really wanted to experience this highly recommended restaurant. Our first attempt, we were told it was reserved for 4 hours but to return 11am-4 daily and there is little to no wait. We did that! After a brief wait in line, we were told a "bus tour" had arrived and all were seated so they would be letting us in. They followed that with the bar line is quicker. We divided between table and bar seating. They hardly ever called for the bar line. 30 minutes after my conversation, they came out to take names for table seating. We were too invested at this time, so we waited...another 30 minutes. The food was ok, the service was ok. The restaurant and decorations are fun. They have people keeping your water glass full, but the wait staff hardly checks in on you. One front door person is full of vigor and he made me want to wait! The other door person was rude. He was the one who told me to return another day. He was the one whose first words to me were "I made an announcement an hour ago...." I kindly let him know that I was not here an hour ago. I would've left but the promise of letting us in and others in my group strong desire to experience this restaurant, we waited.

Yelp
New restaurant right by Grand Central with $25 Taittinger Champagne by the glass and delicious burgers with fries for $20. We had tried to go to this restaurant a few times but our timing was tough during the dinnertime rush. There are a couple of indoor bar areas with views of the Grand Central atrium, but the outside seating area is quite charming with a 1920s vibe. We ended up putting our name on the waitlist (party of 2 only) and the hostess took down a phone number and said it would be about a 15 minute way. After 20 minutes we had not received a text so we went back and they were able to find a table for us. I ordered one of the signature cocktails, but my companion ordered a Hemingway (Daiquiri). There was a miscommunication between the server and the bartender so she ended up with a Gin Martini. This was quickly rectified for the correct cocktail. We both ordered burgers and they came out hot and delicious with the perfect amount of fries. Overall a great experience and will definitely return.

Yelp
Beautiful place! We stopped for some drinks before catching the train and had a great time. The Cosmopolitan was amazing! Bartender was friendly.

Yelp
Very pleasant spot up the stairs at grand central.. I've never ventured upward at the station and was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality. I've been twice and have enjoyed the staff and cocktails. This time I tried lunch and was suggested to get the meatball entree by Fabiola who was so sweet. The meatball was tender and it had a smoked ricotta which added a unique flare to the dish. The garlic bread was soft and went well with the dish. I also had a lemon drop which was great made by Fabiola. The last time I visited Ronnie made me a paper plane and it was also made really well. Def will be back when I have a long wait for the metro north!

Yelp
Really nice place in an obvious good location. They are fairly new so they need to work out some kinks. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're in the area you should stop by.

Yelp
Palladino NYC at Grand Central deserves a standing ovation. From the second you walk in, the staff sets the tone--professional, upbeat, and genuinely happy you're there. They make hospitality look effortless. Chef Sam is a force of nature. The man's steaks aren't meals; they're experiences. Perfect char, incredible flavor, and cooked with precision that makes you question every other steak you've ever eaten. The appetizers and desserts hit the same high mark--each bite carefully balanced and beautifully presented. Service? Over the top, in the best way possible. Every plate, every glass, every interaction feels intentional. The entire night ran like a fine-tuned orchestra. When this team brings their energy and craft back to Dallas, they'll own the scene. Best steak I've ever had. Period.

Yelp
Hey! I just had a drink while waiting for a train at GCS and had the pleasure of meeting bartender Fabiola. Her professionalism and service were only outdone by her winning personality. Palladino's, you're lucky to have her working for you!

Yelp
Fabulous in every way. Palladino's is an elegant restaurant that makes you feel comfortable the moment you enter. We were a party of 4. 2 of us are blind and we got all the help we needed. Being steak and seafood provides a more extensive menu with lots of good choices. The food is exceptional! I love steak and eat a lot of it. And I have to say that the one I had here was the best I've ever head. Absolutely full of flavor. And a level of tenderness I've never experienced before. Everything was great, from appetizers to dessert. Service was thorough and attentive. Everything was so enjoyable that we found ourselves even complementing aspects of the restrooms. Truly a wonderful experience!

Yelp
I've been to dozens of steakhouses in NYC. This one is the best by far. Not only is the food better or the equal of any other, but the service and ambiance are unmatched. Not cheap, but prices are not out of line and you get an unmatched setting to boot. Most beautiful place I've ever dined in; it is essentially like a palace or a grand museum. Took my wife here for our anniversary; she regularly dines at Michelin star restaurants for her job. She said this was a better and more memorable restaurant than any of them.

Yelp
The perfect dining experience to sit in their 'pinkies up' top level with the luxurious booths overlooking a great view of the maigrand central. The owner was overly kind and generous. The service was flawless. The pork chop with maple glaze and the meatball pomodoro were perfect. And an amazing Old Fashioned! We are returning in 10 days!!

Yelp
Nice to see this restaurant open up in GCT. Very nicely designed. Good burger at an attractive price, for NYC quality restaurant. Wine list a bit expensive. Service was very good. Will try again sometime...

Yelp
Great food and service in a beautiful location on the balcony of Grand Central! Manager Mark was welcoming and staff was attentive and helpful. We had a delicious Caesar Salad, sliders and blooming onion.

Yelp
It's rare to see a new restaurant operate with such precision and heart so early on. From the moment I arrived, it's clear that the owner, Joseph Palladino and his team have invested extraordinary time and care into interviewing, hiring, and training a staff that delivers truly flawless service. Every interaction feels thoughtful and professional -- confident without being overbearing, polished yet personal. The kitchen matches that same standard, turning out dishes that reflect both technical skill and genuine passion. For a restaurant only two months old, the consistency and attention to detail are remarkable. I highly recommend Palladino's! Patrick Manning

Yelp
Great ambiance, food, and service! Particularly for a business lunch. Accommodated our larger group when another restaurant randomly cancelled our reservation- saved me! Thank you!

Jen F.

Yelp
Sushi was rubbery, not fresh and nondescript - at 2 pieces for $27 expected more than supermarket sushi. Wine was meh, bottle had clearly been left open while. Staff didn't know the menu and kept hovering. Crowd was blah, lots of money but not cool - and that's coming from a middle aged mom. Disappointed.

J T.

Yelp
Dinner was exquisite in the main dining area. The food, ambiance, the experience was excellent. Service was "tip of the sword", both the server and manager who were both extremely knowledgeable; Michael and Michael. Client meetings, power lunches, any night out is sure to be a "W." The chef, Sam, and the owner Joe Palladino are very visible any evening.

Irwin R.

Yelp
The address is actually 23 Vanderbilt at Grand Central. The food and service is beyond great. Special thanks to the maitre'd Nicole and the host Eduardo and the server Bailey. But from the moment you are greeted by Claudia and Tara you feel at home. The Chilean Sea Bass is the best I've had.

Ellen N.

Yelp
"From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all our expectations! We especially enjoyed the appetizers, the variety of desserts. Meeting Sam, the chef topped the night. Can't wait to come again soo
