Palm & Boy Coffee and Acai is a very cute place in Ventura’s walking street. The Açaí is good; not cheap though. The place resembles little Mexican village. I like it.

Rachel S.

Google
Love the outside seating. the courtyard areas and the flowers and plants are beautiful. The chia bowl with almond milk and fresh fruit was so yummy. My family got cold brew and also cold brew with orange cold foam and I was all so good.

This place is perfect! Tucked away in a cute little alley. The staff was friendly, little cute tables outside to sit and enjoy your meal. They were pretty quick with the orders. Everything was delicious and fresh. The Stoke bowl was pretty standard, tart and cold fruit, sweet honey, crunchy granola bits. So refreshing. The drip coffee was pretty standard, didn't blow me out of the water but did the trick! We also tried the Wave bowl. The color alone on this one is beautiful. It is a bit funky because of the spirulina but it makes it more palatable knowing its good for you! The color and fun textures help as well. The bee pollen was fun as well. The avocado toast was good too, very very lemony. I happen to love lemon so I enjoyed it.

Google
I loved coming here for a light lunch on the go. Staff is very nice and their Acai bowls are to die for. The donuts are very soft and delicious. I always recommend this place to my friends and family whenever we want something sweet downtown!

David S.

Google
Great little independent coffee shop hidden down a short quiet walk way off the busy street with top quality drinks and 6 tables for outdoor patio seating. Extremely popular with the locals. Try their Matcha or iced latte and you won't be disappointed.

Google
Acai bowels really delicious. We are from out of town and we're so happy to find this place. Our daughter has a dairy allergy and was able to have the acai bowels and even the donuts they sell were vegan . Staff really friendly and helpful. Definitely going back next time we are in that area. Thank you !!!!

Google
Tucked into a super cute alley off of the main street walking district (yay!) P&B is a great stop for quality coffee and healthy breakfast options. Acai bowl is my go to and is better than most because they use what tastes like low or no sugar acai so that you can add honey if you want to sweeten it up, or leave it off if you want to reduce your sugar intake. This is not usually available so it's nice to know you have the option here.

Google
My husband and I went here for the first time today and we absolutely loved it. Love the dirty chai drink as well as the great service. Ambience and atmosphere very cute and cozy! New coffee spot whenever we’re on that end of town. Highly recommend. Also got the cutest Halloween shirt for only $18!

Yelp
Palm and Boy is one of my favorite coffee shops located in the heart of downtown Ventura at theEl Jardin Courtyard. This shop is always serving up the most amazing drinks and the best lite bites, it's honestly become my little happy place downtown. My go-to order lately has been their coconut iced latte with a splash of hazelnut, trust me on this combo. It's creamy yet refreshing. But what really makes this spot stand out is their menu as it's packed with so many creative drinks and unique flavors that you could try something new every visit and never be disappointed. When it comes to food, they've totally nailed fresh and healthy meals. My personal favorite is their Whitecap which is a chia bowl layered with fresh fruit and drizzled with honey. I can also vouch for their other food items as my dad loves their yogurt bowl and my mom gets their avocado toast. Everyone is always happy with this choice. The staff are always so welcoming here and make you feel like a regular. Everyone that works here is always "all smiles." They make your orders fresh, on the spot with care - yet they keep the wait times low. A spot I can trust will get me in and out if needed.

Yelp
The hubby and I have been a few times but haven't reviewed it until now. Palm & Boy is tucked away right off Main with a few spots of outdoor seating. It's nestled in the back between trees and covered in shade. It's quite peaceful and very cool if you need relief from the heat. We swung by when they opened and grabbed a couple of coffees and bites for breakfast. I ordered the cortado and the oat bowl, which was a warm cup of oatmeal with brown sugar, honey, bananas, blueberries, and sliced almonds. It was filling, on the sweeter side since I asked for both honey and brown sugar, but sooooo yummy. The hubby ordered a drip coffee and a yogurt bowl. It was a big portion of yogurt topped with honey, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, and granola. The people working were very friendly, helpful, and quick with everyone's orders.

Yelp
A hidden gem of downtown Ventura down an alley way that transforms you into a little town. Go up the stairs all the way to the back and you'll come up on palm and boy. Inside is small, only for ordering. Outside has a small patio, so if you can grab a seat take it, it's nice and peaceful outside in the cool beachy air. A small menu but lots to offer, coffee, tea and acai. I got the almond butter acai, comes with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, honey and chai seeds. The acai had good flavor and they pack on the almond butter, really good lots of flavor. Staff were really friendly and the acai came out quickly. I did get it to go, but ended up finding a spot outside.

Yelp
4 Stars for Palm & Boy Coffee! This place is such a gem! I stopped by for an unsweetened matcha, and WOW, it was absolutely refreshing and hands-down the best I've had in a long time. Smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced without any of that artificial sweetness you sometimes get elsewhere. There's plenty of parking nearby, but be prepared to walk a bit, the surrounding streets are closed to cars, so you'll need to stroll through a cute little alley to find the shop. Honestly, the walk just adds to the charm. The alley is peaceful and gives the whole experience a hidden, tucked-away vibe. Definitely worth the visit if you're a matcha lover or just looking for a relaxing spot with quality drinks and calm energy. I'll be back!

Yelp
The cutest hidden gem. Lived up to the hype, it's in the center of downtown ventura on Main st, You literally walk into an hacienda style patio area. It truly gives you the feeling that you are truly elsewhere. Upon walking in, staff was beyond sweet & the menu is very simple and easy to order from. There is NO seating indoors but seating outside is available. Very limited seats! I would say time you day because after 12:30pm it does seem to be their rush time. Their yogurt was very light and their toppings with honey gave it just the right touch of sweeetnes, I also had an iced coconut latte with oatmilk and it was delicious. If you love sweet coffees I wouldn't choose this option as your coffeee. Parking is one - 2 blocks away. But not terrible. Overall great place to visit!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a Delicious vanilla latte and my son had an Ice Coffee I decided to try an interesting looking Maple Glacéd Donut! I couldn't believe how dense (pound cake) the doughnut was but it was full of flavor. Friendly Staff and outside seating in the courtyard is where everyone hangs out! Inside is for orders and waiting. Small & Tight Overall great coffees!
google avatar

Courtney F.

Yelp
Tucked back in a side courtyard, this place is nestled in a cute/ shaded spot. I got a lavender matcha which tasted good. Next time I'm here I really want to grab an açaí bowl because they looked great
google avatar

Mic F.

Yelp
What a cute spot! I've been in a few times now. Recently returned. Coffee was good, tried the Maple Sea Salt this go around. Nice ratio of coffee to flavoring and milk. Avocado toast was on sourdough. It was a typical avocado toast. Hint of heat with red pepper flakes. Maple Donut was a hit with my daughter. It was very sweet! Thicker/denser donut than the norm. Nice service. I got to talking with someone outside and they brought our order out to us. Love the little alley way they are located. Feels like you're in a hideaway secret spot. Reminds me of how cafes are in Europe. Looking forward to more visits.

Yelp
I was in downtown Ventura and wanted to grab a coffee to go. We saw this coffee shop located in a small alley and decided to stop by. We got their coconut latte and matcha latte. The drinks came fast upon ordering, and we were in and out of their in probably 20 minutes. The matcha latte was not bad (3/5): I felt like they could've used more matcha in the drink as the milk was overpowering. The coconut latte was good (4/5): I liked this drink more than the matcha. It was flavorful and perfect amount of sweet. Overall this cafe is worth checking out if you are in the area. They also sell other foods like acai bowls that I'd be willing to try next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
Really cute coffee shop set up. If you want to go somewhere relaxing this spot is a go-to. I went on a gloomy day during the weekend in the morning and it wasn't crowded but there were people starting to line up. It's a quick grab and go coffee and sit for a bit if you find a table. For the coffee I am so done with trying to find a good pistachio latte! I know pistachio is popular right now but I don't think as a latte. I tried it here with oatmilk and it was pretty much just an oatmilk latte. I'm sure their other coffees are good but I just wanted to give this small spot a shot and possibly have the pistachio latte I've been waiting for but no. It was nice to stop by though while I was in town.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious acai bowl! If you are craving acai (and coffee) this is the place to stop by. The flavors are great! I had plenty of toppings to work on and ice cold acai at the bottom. Super refreshing and a nice way to start your day. The place is located at the end of a corridor of the main street and has a cozy vibe with outdoors seating. If you're craving a delicious acai bowl and don't want to search for it-- just stop by here :) Nicely done Palm and Boy!
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Located in downtown Ventura, so a great place to grab some coffee and walk around. It's located in an alley of shops so not easily seen right off the street. We got 2 different Acai Bowls, the stoke and the white cap. I loved both bowls and thought they were fairly priced for what it was. I also got the iced honey latte which wasn't my favorite, a little too milky but will ask for less milk next time and update the review based on the coffee!
google avatar

Renee C.

Yelp
My favorite place! Came here after work with my coworker and I got the Grom bowl and added granola and almond butter. So delicious! Service was great and we sat and enjoyed the patio.
google avatar

Mari B.

Yelp
This spot is a gem! The açaí bowls and menu items looked super tasty. I tried the honey latte and coconut latte (half sweet) both were delicious. I love the boho vibe inside & outside, and the courtyard is a dream: fresh, clean, and so relaxing. A perfect chill spot! The service was fast and friendly very efficient and she always had a smile on her face and remembered my name as she waved goodbye when I picked up my drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been hearing about this cute spot for several months now and finally decided to stop by. I am so sad it took me forever to come in. It is a tiny but super beautiful location. The Staff is supper sweet and helpful. Since it was my first time I was a little unsure on what to get. I am currently on a Matcha obsession and was recommended the coconut matcha, PERFECTION! The stoke bowl was also delicious. I will be absolutely returning to this spot. Seating is limited and it does get full, expect a small wait. 100% recommend you check out this location.
google avatar

Arianna M.

Yelp
Cute little spot with good Acai bowls! I don't drink caffeine at the moment but love the taste of coffee so I opted for a decaf pumpkin spice latte. It was a bit too strong for my liking but my boyfriend's pistachio matcha was so yummy. I'd definitely come back if I'm able to get a matcha.
google avatar

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Super cute place! Love the ambiance of the trees and nature outside where you sit. It was so beautiful. We got the almond butter açaí and the wave. Not very sweet but they feel healthy for sure. I expected bit more sweetness. The coconut latte was different and strong in a good way Service was fairly quick and no complaints!
google avatar

Victoria V.

Yelp
I love coming here for a quick bite and some coffee. The staff are very nice here. There's some seating outside but I usually just do take out. The donuts are to die for since they are so soft!
google avatar

Cassidy W.

Yelp
Order placed. Grom, honey latte + cinnamon, iced honey latte. Coffee is not fruity which is a bonus for some people. The smoothie bowl is good. I prefer the sprinkle of chia seeds to having it blended in. The star of the experience here for us was the honey latte + cinnamon. No restroom; you will need to go across the street.

Yelp
Palm & Boy is simply the best Açaí in Ventura! Owner Jaime is an amazing woman business owner. She's kind, passionate about her little niche and always greets her customers with a smile and a big hello! The entire staff have always been top notch as they were on my visit Monday 19 August 2024. Service was prompt and efficient. My most recent visit was with my husband. We both enjoyed a STOKE Açaí bowl, mine with the added peanut butter. Being vegan, I always appreciate a place I can get a yummy protein breakfast! We always try to bring our own mugs and on this visit I had a tasty cold brew and my husband had a chai tea latte. We had them made with almond 'milk' as they were out of our usual choice of oat 'milk'. The location is perfecto! In the cutest little El Jardin Courtyard. A few patio tables are spread near the entrance where you walk up and order. No table service. Prices are fair and competitive with other local businesses. The menu has many other options for bowls and toasts. I just seem to be addicted to the same menu item and I love to get STOKE(d) at Palm & Boy!!
google avatar

Yovanna V.

Yelp
First time I came here I really loved it but I've had 2 incidents at this places and its like really you as a business need to do better on how to charge customers correctly. Had my boyfriend order me a peanut butter toast and they charged me 16$ thats almost 20$ for 2 toast like are tou serious and then the previous time I ordered online and had a horrible experience they gave me the tiniest toast ever like if I was a kid like really I can probably go get all the ingredients at the store and make it for myself and this point I really thought I would be supportive of a business in downtown but clearly not this one . Especially i work downtown and this is the service I get . Horrible will never come again because of this incident I just can't belive it
google avatar

Kasie S.

Yelp
Palm & Boy Coffee and Açaí is the cutest little spot! The coconut iced coffee was amazing, my son loved his lemonade, and my husband was happy with his Americano. We were all super pleased. The outdoor table setup is so charming, and the ambience is perfect. Definitely a new favorite!
google avatar

Connie C.

Yelp
This cute place feels like a little getaway in the morning. Stopped in for a matcha and Acai bowl. I sat outside in the little courtyard with umbrellas. I felt like I was in a completely different place! The matcha was perfect and the Acai bowl was fresh and delicious. It was filling and kept me going all morning! Can't wait to try the other goodies on the menu. The folks there were super nice too!
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
The açaí bowls are what brought us here. I didn't know this place was here . It's in one of the ally's of down town Ventura, it's such a cute little coffee shop , the staff is super nice and helpful, it felt nice to be surrounded by tree roots on the outdoor seating. I would recommend this place to any açaí bowl lover The açaí isn't packed with artificial flavors or sweeteners you can taste the freshness
google avatar

Jessica V.

Yelp
This place is the cutest! It's towards the back on the right hand side & there are tables/chairs to sit at. We ordered the iced peppermint latte & the hot gingerbread latte - I was expecting a bit more flavor but overall the drinks were fine. I also ordered a yogurt bowl which was super yummy & packed with fruit, granola, and drizzled honey. I would absolute get the yogurt bowl again & maybe ask for double the syrup for the drinks.
google avatar

Mikey F.

Yelp
It's a really cool spot to hang out and grab a coffee or acai bowl! The tables are outdoors, but you're surrounded by trees and nature. There were a couple of downsides, though... the first being the price. I ordered a small iced coffee, and it was pricey. It was literally milk, espresso, and a flavored syrup... not even a special mix of anything. The second was the service. What I mean by that is every table outside was dirty. Spilled coffee, acai liquid, and crumbs. We had to clean out our own tables and chairs. Although I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the price for the small coffee isn't something I'd come back for.
google avatar

Hayden L.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop off Main Street in a small Spanish style plaza. It's a nice ambiance with tables outside under a huge shade tree. It's a bit pricey. Two iced coffees with tip came to $15. The drinks were tasty though. All of the tables outside were dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. The cashier was very friendly. I'm not too sure what the tip is for since we had to clean our own tables and grab our own coffees from the counter.
google avatar

Lyle H.

Yelp
Order at counter. Seating outside at courtyard. Avocado toast is a winner. Love the parfait! Honey over lots of fresh fruit!! Coffee selections are good and always seasonal ideas!
google avatar

Abby K.

Yelp
Palm and boy is the absolute cutest tucked away hidden secret in Ventura! A calm environment but also the sweetest staff and owner! The food is beyond worth it and the coffee is brewed wonderfully
google avatar

Dolores P.

Yelp
Helllloooo acai bowls. Something about super cold fruit on a warm days is just so refreshing. The owner Jaime (hope I spelled that right) is THE SWEETEST. She has the sweetest welcoming smile right when I walked in. The outdoor seating in the courtyard is just beautiful. And if it's not warm it's a nice place for a warm drink too. I like that they're open a little later because I can't really make it anywhere earlier in the day. So that's a plus.
google avatar

Berta B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check this place out and since I saw they were going to have a special matcha latte drink for St Patrick's day weekend I decided to go today. The name of the drink is called Lucky Matcha Latte. It's a matcha Latte topped with Lucky Charms cereal. I also had a match donut which I had previously had at SunOven in Ojai. The matcha drink was good, but not the best matcha I've had. The matcha donut was delicious. The service was not the best, but it might have been because they were a little busy. Palm and Boy is in Downtown inside The Courtyard. They have a few tables outside but non inside. I noticed most people take their drink or açaí bowl to go. I might go back to try their avocado toast.
google avatar

Beatriz P.

Yelp
I was first introduced to Palm & Boy when I was on a Pistachio Latte kick and learned that they offered one. I still remember that first sip of that nutty, sweet creamy goodness. I remember commenting to Jaime (the owner) how I appreciated and loved the creaminess of her latte. To which I learned the milk is steamed as a flat white, so for anyone that loves the creamy latte and not the froth of foam, this is the ordering tip. The business is small with outdoor seating in what I believe is dubbed El Jardin courtyard. And it is just that a secret oasis away from the bustling downtown Ventura. Bring a sweater if you tend to get chilly, but this place is so relaxing. I love to just sit here and enjoy my book as I sip on my drink. I have also tried the avocado toast and let me tell you, it is delicious!!! The perfect blend of flavors. Jaime is so sweet! She is so kind and will remember you as a customer. As it happened to me today. I also appreciated that I was told ahead of time today by a different employee that they had a wait for drinks as they had a busy rush when I came. Which was fine by me, more time to sit and enjoy the birds chirping and warmth of the sun. I will have to come back to try their Acai bowls, which have been on my list for a while.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
Love the outdoor courtyard and flowers atmosphere. I had a really good chia bowl with fresh fruit. My family got coffee. Cold brew was good and the cold brew with orange cold foam was also good.
google avatar

M Z.

Yelp
New owner Jaime is doing an amazing job with this place! Got their orange cream latte, iced with oat milk - literally the best drink i've had in soooo long. They gave us a free order of avocado toast that was made by mistake and it was so delicious. Tomatoes and lemon pepper. mmm. their cold brew is amazing as well! I love how they've arranged the outdoor seating. ate the toast so fast we didn't take a picture but here is the evidence.
google avatar

Vivian N.

Yelp
Best avocado toast that I have had! Perfect seasoning. Lush greens. Quick service. Just 10/10. Go get yourself some.
google avatar

Erica G.

Yelp
Cute shop in Downtown Ventura. Hadn't been here in awhile. Decided to stop in for a drink since I didn't love their acai. I enjoyed my matcha latte with added vanilla sweetener. My friend liked her chai. Service was good. Tiny place all seating is outside. I prefer a cozy coffee shop where there seating inside especially during the colder months but this is a perfect grab and go.
google avatar

Siria F.

Yelp
Super cute little hole in the wall. It's small inside but they have seating outside. It was busy when we got there so we had to wait a bit to get a table. Ordered the peanut butter bowl and it was well served. Also tried their coffee (iced caramel latte) and it was great! Will definitely be back. 10/10 recommend
google avatar

Alyssa A.

Yelp
I've walked down Main Street dozens of times, but this was the first time I finally went down the little side street to try Palm & Boy. Despite the shop being small, it's tucked away in such a cute little corner with a surprising amount of tables to enjoy your drinks and food. I didn't get to try their açaí - will definitely have to come back to give it a try, but they make a great chai tea latte. A little sweeter than I'm used to, but it was delicious and a great pick me up while walking around downtown. Staff here were so friendly and kind, and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. You'll have to park and walk to get here, but it's a nice walk down Main Street to make it. A good choice for your daily coffee.
google avatar

Vee P.

Yelp
Was in the area so I decided to stop in to give it a try. It's located in the back of a cute courtyard building. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for their coffee due to the location in downtown vta and since it seemed like they are 'doing too much' with the menu but I was wrong - this is a solid coffee shop! We got a couple of drinks and I thoroughly enjoyed my latte. Friendly and quick service! Will definitely be back when in the area.
google avatar

Lexi A.

Yelp
I've been following them online for awhile and finally stopped by for a coffee! It's tucked away down a cute alley and they have a nice outdoor seating area. I'll be back for an acai bowl soon!
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
The staff is BEYOND kind. So many choices to make your bowl perfect. Personal fav is the peanut butter bowl. Coffee is lovely too! Love how peaceful the courtyard is.
google avatar

Will P.

Yelp
This place was kind of hidden in downtown Ventura, but the store itself was very cute and the workers played really good music. I ordered the peanut butter bowl and my fiancée got the stoke bowl. We both thought the bowl was okay, not great. The Acai was more of a smoothie mix and was not very sweet. It was very fresh and tasted fruity, so that was good but we would've liked a sweeter taste in my Acai. I would recommend putting honey in the mix next time I come.
google avatar

Janelle O.

Yelp
Great place to come and do work! The staff is always so friendly and the vibes are relaxing. I paid $19 for the Peanut Butter Acai Bowl and a cappuccino. Both were delicious! I will say I would love to have a little less granola and a little more acai in the bowl. Come with a full battery because there are no chargers, and a sweater because it's outdoor seating only :)
google avatar

Crystal M.

Yelp
Such a cute, hidden gem. I've walked downtown tons of times and always pass by. Today, we decided to venture off and astray this cute walkway which led us to Palm & Boy. There is a sign off Main Street about coffee and açaí but I ended up checking out their menu to find my fave- avocado toast! I ordered a macchiato latte with 2 pumps caramel which I would def get for hubby next time to try. Their sourdough avocado toast has a nice tangy kick to it and the greens were just right! Would def order again. Service was quick, helpful, and inviting. Such a cute coffee shop and patio dining area. We weren't able to sit out because all the tables were occupied but opted to sit on Main Street tables open for everyone.

rita m.

Yelp
Love the avocado toast. I have to have it at least once a Week. Have yet to try the bowls. But will soon. Love the place and the employees. They are all so nice.
google avatar

Semran S.

Yelp
Super cute vibe, the place tucked into a pretty alley. I only met one staff member, but she was really nice! I ordered two Stoke bowls, came out pretty quickly. Smoothie bowls were amazing and perfect to eat at the beach!
google avatar

Hollee K.

Yelp
We haven't been here for drinks and apps yet but we love the breakfast toasts and bagels. It's great people and dog watching too. I wish they would NOT encourage people with laptops to be there during rush hours. It's hard to find a seat and then you see someone on their laptop on a four top.
google avatar

Ms S.

Yelp
Honestly, such a cute place. We went for the vibes but ended up getting a quick snack and drinks. We enjoyed our time outside, very peaceful. We were the only ones there and got our orders really quickly. Everything looked beautiful and tasted amazing. I will definitely go back.
google avatar

Rubi C.

Yelp
Coffee: 10/10 the panela latte is amazing ! I got it half sweet and it was the perfect balance of sweetness, milk and espresso. I would come back here just have more of these lattes ! Açaí bowls: 3/10 I got the almond butter bowl and it alright. The first thing I noticed is that they don't blend the Acai with other ingredients for your personal bowl, it's just an acai sorbet that's already prepared. I prefer the places that blend all the ingredients together , it feels more fresh, more personal, more enjoyable and healthier that way. The strawberries on my bowl were extremely tart and they only put about 3-4 blueberries on my bowl. I did appreciate the almond butter serving though. I think the bowl is overpriced at $15 with such simple ingredients with hardly any berries on top. I would not order an acai bowl from here again. Service: 10/10 the nice young lady at the front was kind and helpful. Overall, I was disappointed with the bowl, but so happy with the coffee.
