One of the best things to do in Palm Beach - you can see why it's become a staple of the city. The production values are fantastic and all the acting is top tier. The location is perfect and close to so many bars and restaurants as well. Looking forward to seeing many more plays here.

This is a lovely experience. Me and my boyfriend went there to watch “the death of salesman”, such a great play! Audio and visual effects really nice and good structure but the actors was the most special part of it, they were amazing acting, (very dramatic and a little bit sad which I think helps the public attention) living the characters so realistic and intensively. We loved it.

Google
Easily the best theater for classical/contemporary plays 😻 they're all so nice and everything is so well done and high quality. There's always something going on here 🔥😼

Beautiful theater. After living in Fl for several years, I finally attended a performance with 4 friends. We all had the same thought. It was not worth the price, and in fact, was painful to sit through. I’m not sure I’ll try again.

I went to see the 7:30pm performance of 12 Angry Men! Love the small theater, the performance was stunning! The theater is not cavernous and not cold. Fantastic experience, recommend highly!

Google
Small theater with excellent productions. The actors are often Equity members. Theater is intimate, and it's hard to get a bad seat. Sometimes there are sound issues if you are seated on far left or far right. Back row is just fine. I've seen drama, comedy and musicals here: 1776, History Boys, Arcadia. All have been excellent. This is not amateur / community theater. That being said, it's not New York or London either. But for a small venue in south Florida , the quality is high. What at first seems like a long line for women's room at intermission actually moves quite smoothly. The bar sells drinks and snacks. Nearby parking garage is free on Sundays. Lots of restaurants nearby for drinks or dinner after the show. Pastiche is excellent. World of Beer, Rocco's Tacos etc. I always look forward to see what the next season of shows will bring.

Terrific and intimate theater - just saw an incredible interpretation of Stoppard's Arcadia. Kudos to them for putting on this amazing play, and for a really super execution - from set design to costuming and of course the acting. 6 stars.

I just attended play #6 at Palm Beach Dramaworks- Death of a Salesman - and continue to remain impressed by the caliber of plays that are brought to this small theater. Nestled in the heart of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Dramaworks stands as a beacon of artistic excellence, consistently delivering astounding performances that enrich the West Palm community. Each production is meticulously curated, showcasing a diverse range of themes, genres, and artistic styles. From thought-provoking dramas to whimsical comedies, every performance captivates audiences and leaves a lasting impression. Beyond its impressive repertoire of plays, Palm Beach DramaWorks also plays a pivotal role in community engagement. Through outreach programs, workshops, and educational initiatives, it actively involves members of the community in the theatrical experience, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts among all age groups.

Yelp
We went to the preview of Lobby Hero at Palm Beach Dramaworks tonight. It was my first time in the theatre and I was very impressed. There is not a bad seat in the small theatre but our first row seats were particularly good. The acting was excellent and it was fun to see the expressions so close. If I were to read the play I would have thought it was good, but the acting (and sets and staging) made it great. We had a freshly baked cookie before the show and that was terrific also. I am excited for the rest of the season.

Yelp
I went here to see Intimate Apparel and was pleasantly surprised. The first 1/2 was a little slow but the 2nd 1/2 was riveting. I loved that there was a 'talkback' after the show with the actors (it gave me a wonderful insight into how the memorize their lines and all that goes into staging the play). I also liked that they gave out waters since we all had to wear masks (which I'm happy to comply). Parking is a little difficult but we were able to get a spot easily. The surrounding area is a little sketchy these days - I do hope Clematis cleans up a bit more! I'm glad theatre is back in person these days! I've missed it so!

Yelp
I went to see "Ordinary Americans" at Palm Beach Dramaworks last night and it was fantastic. The actors were great and the show was fun to see. The staff from beginning to end were great. The will-call desk persons were friendly, I was directed towards the bar to another friendly and attentive face, and yet again at the door when I was directed to me seat. The seating is limited but I cannot imagine a bad seat anywhere in the facility. I was in row G, center section and was able to see quite well. Steps weren't. Steep, handrails were plentiful, and while a small space, the seating itself was comfortable. I would be very happy to go back and see another show.

Yelp
Best Valentine's date night ever! Arrived to a friendly face greeting us. Had a nice glass of wine before the show. The seats are clean and comfortable. The venue is small so every seat was good. We saw SpitfireGrill, a musical that's was phenomenal. We even were able to pre order our drinks for the intermission so they would be waiting for us as soon as we came out. There was a red carpet and a backdrop for cute pictures. We enjoyed our Spitfire Grill themed drink during the intermission. Couldn't have asked for a better time!

Yelp
Great little theatre right on Clematis Street in West Palm Beach! Check their website for schedule of plays and events. We saw a play here, Lion in Winter, and were pleasantly surprised. The acting was excellent and the staging, costumes and sound system were all very professional. We will definitely return for another show!

Yelp
Last night we joined two friends to see the current presentation "Woody Guthrie's American Songbook." Basically, the production strings together Guthrie's hits over the years, presented by enthusiastic actors and musicians. The theater is comfortable. Located among numerous small eateries, many offer discounts on dinner. We chose to dine at Rocco's Tacos, three minutes walk across the street. With the Dramaworks ticket came an offer of a free guacamole. So we enjoyed our Mexican dinner and then the show.

Yelp
I would stay away. Definitely some unwarranted favoritism here. I arrived for Equus for evening 5/16. While waiting to go into the theater in the reception area I notice a couple come in off the street curious about the theater. Some lady that works there gives them a grand tour (as advertised outside anyone can ask for a tour). The couple so impressed buys tickets to the show. Great! Later as we settle into the theater this couple happens to have the two seats diagonally in front of me. Just before show time the lady that gave them the tour was about to get on stage to announce the play...she notices the tour couple and offers them to move to two prominent center seats that were vacant...a little un fair but fine. The couple directly next to me had those headphone things because they cant hear and that and their hearing aids created a major whistle that I could hear...so just I am now directly behind the stage manager lady (with the play and headphones) whom I ask if I could now sit in one of the seats vacated by the lucky couple that got to move to the center. I thought this lady was gonna blow a gasket...she looked at me like I had 3 heads and I don't dare ask something like that. My entire experience watching Equus was ruined. The entire time I had the old couple that couldn't hear bantering back and fourth on how to use the amplifying equipment while their hearing aids whistled away while talking about how they didnt understand the play or the british accents. Meanwhile I felt like Equus was being heard on my ears on an AM radio station. What's WORSE is that the seat diagonally in front that I asked to move to remained vacant until Act 2, when a volunteer usher (who didnt PAY For his ticket!) sat in one of the seats. Seriously? When I emailed Sue Ellen Beryl, the director of operations, she did nothing but bang out an excuse on her from her email "sent from her iPhone" You guys are among the most expensive theater of this kind in South Florida. I paid a nice sum and had one heck of a rotten experience. I was inspired to come to this from the Compass Mixer you guys had awhile ago. It's a shame you guys are the venue for the OutStage. That being said, the actors were great as was the play, the theater and its staff not so much. Can't say I will be back ever.

Concerned-consumer I.

Yelp
Good theatre and nice space. Shows are on the same level as other Florida theaters with in a 100 mile radius. The box office personnel can be bitchy which is disappointing considering how expensive the tickets are.

Yelp
The best live theatre in Palm Beach County. You will not see Oklahoma here, not there is anything wrong with Oklahoma.

Yelp
We were fortunate enough to be in WPB at the same time as the PBD production of the concert version of "The Most Happy Fella," a classic musical that we have only seen once before, written by the legendary Frank Loesser. You did not even realize this was a concert version with the wonderful costumes and props, except for the occasional glances at the script set up all over the stage on music stands. But the voices and preparation of these actor/singers was remarkable--I think I only saw about six glances to the script during the entire three-hour delightful production. The show has been extended until August 3rd and hurry to see it--this is a rare production you may not have a chance to see again, and especially by this extremely talented ensemble. Especially outstanding were Rosabella/Amy, Tony, Cleo and the men's ensemble, and the ladies' ensemble's lively dances added so much. We were enchanted all evening!
